ApnaGhar is a shelter home for the homeless and destitute with a 50-bed setup. With proper health facilities the children are kept with sensitivity. We have received Dr. Bhardwaj's co-operation in fulfilling the concept of this Ashram, who established more than 30 ashrams in the entire country.

There is no specific system for helpless people in India like this, under which we felt the need to do some work for their rehabilitation and recognizing the Community Accountability, We have established an ashram in Bhopal. This Ashram is made of 50 beds, which will be given further expansion, so that more people can be supported through this. In this Ashram We are providing shelter to mentally retarded, handicapped who lost their home.

A three-floor building at Hoshangabad Road is converted to this shelter home. “We rescue and rehabilitate. At the Bhopal shelter, we have an ambulance and 50 beds apart from a dining hall and fully trained staff to handle all emergency. Our help lines number have been circulated in the city. Any time we get a call to rescue someone, our team rushes to the spot. Victim is brought to the Ashram, cleaned, bathed and fed. If he/she is in a position to tell us about their homes, we contact their families to rehabilitate them lest none of them is ever abandoned on roads again. ApnaGhar can be their home forever.

The facilities we are providing them are their Medical checkup, proper treatment by professionals and the shelter and food facility, IEC(Information education Communication) is developing to sensitize stake holder for the facility .
