HEG: "Sewa Month" for Apna Ghar

As encouraged by COO Shri Manish Gulati, all the HEG Executives and Staff members have visited Apna Ghar along with their friends and families in the month of December and contributed helpful resources by various means in the Ashram for old and destitute people. The HEG employees join hands together for this Noble cause and Social responsibility towards Apna Ghar (Ashram). 

ApnaGhar is a shelter home for the homeless and destitute with a 50-bed setup which was established with the support of HEG Limited. With proper health facilities the children are kept with sensitivity. We have received Dr. Bhardwaj's co-operation in fulfilling the concept of this Ashram, who established more than 30 ashrams in the entire country.

 

BSL: Blood Donation Camp

रामस्नेही चिकित्सालय एवं अरिहन्त चिकित्सालय के सहयोग से बीएसएल लिमिटेड, मण्डपम् में रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन दिनांक 04.09.2019 बुधवार को सम्पन्न हुआ जिसमें 225 युनिट रक्त का संकलन किया गया। शिविर का शुभारम्भ संस्थान के चेयरमेन एवं प्रबन्ध निदेशक श्री ए के चूड़ीवाल एवं श्रीमति सुधा चूडीवाल ने दीपप्रज्वलित कर किया। इस अवसर पर श्री प्रवीण जैन, श्री ए के मेहता, श्री आर के कटियाल, श्री परमजीत सिंह फोगाट, श्री अरूण सर्राफ, श्री एच. पी. माथुर सहित वरिष्ठ अधिकारीगण, कर्मचारी, यूनियन पदाधिकारी एवं श्रमिक उपस्थित थे।

ज्ञातव्य है कि एल एन जे उद्योग समूह कि इस ईकाई का प्रारम्भ से ही मानवीय हितो व सामाजिक कार्यो के प्रति रूझान रहा है इसी संदर्भ में संस्थान के कार्यकर्ताओं ने पिछले कई दिनों से इस शिविर को सफल बनाने के प्रति काफी उत्साह दिखाया एवं कर्मचारियों को रक्तदान का महत्व समझाते हुए प्रेरित किया जिससे पिछले सभी रिकार्ड तोडते हुए सभी कर्मचारी एवं श्रमिकों ने रक्तदान में काफी उत्साह से भाग लिया।

इस पुनित कार्य को सफल बनाने में श्री वी के चैहान, श्री अनिल अग्रवाल, श्री आर डी जाट, श्री राम मिलन सिह्र, श्री महेश शर्मा, श्री विक्रम दाधीच, श्री शिवरतन माहेश्वरी, श्री गोपाल जोशी, श्री छोटु सिंह पुरावत, श्री भैरू सिंह टांक, श्री गोरू खां, श्री बालुलाल तेली आदि का सहयोग सराहनीय रहा।

Banswara: Blood Donation Camp

On the birthday of Syt. LNJ Babu a blood donation camp was organised at Lodha Banswara. The M.G. Hospital Staff facilitated the entire Camp with a team of Sr. Doctors. Blood were donated by Staff as well as Workers & Contractors for a social cause. To encourage for donating the blood, the COO Shri. Sukesh Sharma, Shri R P Mundra, Shri Ashok Sodani, Shri Aditya Kumar Sharma were also present at Blood Donation Camp. Shri Rakesh Gagrani and Shri K C Wilson, Shri Abhimanyu Singh and Shri Vikram Singh were the main coordinators for this social cause. Shri R.K. Gagrani explained the benefits of the blood donation to the blood donors.

Mandpam: Blood Donation Camp

A blood donation camp was organized on the occasion of Syt. LNJ Babu’s birthday on 17th October, 2019 by RSWM Melange team in coordination with Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Bhilwara at Melange staff club. Shri S.C. Garg (CE-MYB) & Sh. Ashwani Mittal (COO), inaugurated the blood donation camp at Mandpam Unit. The certificates were given to all donors in appreciation of their contribution to this great cause.

ADHPL: Assistance to Govt. Sr. Secondary School

Various CSR activities were done during the quarter October to December 2019. ADHPL donated one computer with accessories to Govt. Sr. Secondary School Soyal, Kullu and one computer and printer with accessories to the Samphia Foundation Kullu to carry out their routine work. The Samphia Foundation is providing education to the differently abled children. In addition, ADHPL also donated one computer with accessories, 4 green boards and one almirah to Govt. Sr. Secondary School Jagatsukh, Manali as requested by them.

ADHPL: Benches Donated to Govt. School

The Govt. Primary School Kalath, Manali was located on the left bank of the Beas River that got partly washed away along with school furniture in the floods. Now the school has been relocated to another building. Therefore ADHPL assisted Govt. Primary School Kalath, Manali on 20th November 2019 by donating double seater 15 benches.

MPCL: Sponsored Autism Intervention Training Program

MPCL under its Corporate Social Responsibility activities sponsored Occupational Therapist, Ms. Shruti More who undertook an intensive Autism Intervention Training Program at Ummeed Child Development Center, Mumbai to upgrade her skills. Autism Spectrum Disorder is a complex neurobehavioral condition that includes impairment in social interaction, developmental language and communications combined with rigid and repetitive behaviours.

Ms. Shruti More (OT) has successfully completed the training and received the certification of completion for Autism Training 2018-2019. She is working at Aash Child Development Center, an NGO working towards inclusion of children with diverse abilities in Kullu. Shruti is now able to apply the learning’s from the training to the 94 children that the Centre has catered to with therapy intervention so far. She has also conducted hands on workshops for parents, therapist and teachers to share her skills and contribute towards Autism awareness, acceptances and advocacy.

Kharigram: Blood Donation Camp

On the occasion of Syt LNJ Babu Birthday on 17th October2019, a blood donation camp was organised in the Staff Club. Shri Manoj Sharma, CHRO and Shri V R Joshi, COO inaugurated the Camp and welcomed the Doctors & Medical Team (Ramsnehi Hospital & Research Centre, Bhilwara). Shri V R Joshi also donated blood and motivated all the staff to come for this great beneficence. All the workers and staff members participated enthusiastically in this Camp and total 80 Units Blood were donated.

Kharigram: Dhwaj Yatra

During the holy festival of Navratra, the Dhwaj Yatra of Maa Durga started from Mill Campus to Badi Mataji Temple with Bhajan and Kirtans at 11.00 AM on 3th October 2019. A grand pooja was performed by Shri V R Joshi, COO along with union leader Mohd. Iliyas, Workers and other Sr. Officers after reaching the temple which was followed by distribution of Mahaprasad.

Tree Plantation & Construction of Toilet in JTI Campus, Ajmer

During the visit of Shri Riju Jhunjhunwala, MD, RSWM Ltd. to Ajmer, tree plantation was done on large scale in and around the campus of Jail Training Institute, Ajmer. Trees along with tree Guards were place on road adjoining JIT campus. Those who are present on this occasion were; Shri Paras Kumar Principal of Institute and Shri Narender Singh, Jailor of Central Jail, Ajmer. Hundreds of Trainees were enthusiastic to see young industrialist among themselves. On demand of jail administration Shri Riju Jhunjhunwala had sanctioned for the construction 10 seater toilet complex required in campus under our CSR initiative.

Blankets Distribution to Poor and Needy

Under CSR initiative of our Group's Jawahar Foundation in collaboration with local NGO, distributed 800 blankets and sweaters to poor and needy in five locations of the Ajmer city. Under the guidance & leadership of Ajmer city DCC, Shri Vijay Jain in Kalyanpura ward of Ajmer south assembly, 351 blankets were distributed. Among those present were; Ward Councilor Shri Kailash Komal & Ms Kirti Hada, Shri Rajender Goyal President PJCS, Ms Saba Khan, Shri Shiv Bansal and Rajnish Kumar OSD, LNJ Bhilwara Group. During distribution in Ajmer’s North assembly, 302 blankets were distributed in Ater Ki Bagichi under the headship of Smt Naseem Aktar, Former Education Minister. All those who have received blankets were praising for Group aegis Jawahar Foundation.

Wheelchair & Sewing Machine Distribution, Bhilwara

On the occasion of World Disability Day, a grand function was organized at town hall in Bhilwara. Women and men from disabled category along with widows were called upon and 51 sewing machines, 21 tricycles for disabled and 15 wheel chairs distributed to senior citizens. On this social welfare day some of the key persons were present; Shri Rampal Sharma DCC, President, Smt Manju Pokharna, Former Chairperson Nagar Parisad, Shri Rajnish Kumar OSD, LNJ Bhilwara Group and organizer Shri Bheru Tak. The NGO, Viklang Helpline Sansthan and Social Justice Govt. Dept. of Rajasthan had jointly organized the event. Hundreds of families were benefited with this social endeavor.

Rang Malhar Painting Competition

A painting competition Rang Malhar was organized by Akriti Kala Sansthan in association with LNJ Bhilwara Group at Harni Mahadev temple area of Bhilwara district where students and young budding artist of Bhilwara city were provided platform to paint and win the contest. Among those who were present - Kalavid Shri Ramesh Garg as Chief Guest, Smt Rama Paschish - Kathak Dancer, Artist Smt Manju Mishra, Shri Rajnish Kumar - OSD, LNJ Bhilwara Group and organizer Shri Kailash Paliya. Hundreds of students participated and were presented with shield and accolades. LNJ Bhilwara Group has been supporting these new artists through various programs and initiatives to help them achieve their goals in future from last 5 years continuously.

Launch of Jawahar Foundation & 5 Skill Centres, Ajmer

On 19th November, 2019, Jawahar Foundation was founded & launched by Shri Riju Jhunjhunwala, MD RSWM Ltd. at Ajmer in a private ceremony attended by large scale of senior residents of Ajmer city. On this occasion, the guest present were - Shri Vijay Jain, DCC President, Shri Gopal Behati, Ex-MLA, Shri Mahender Singh Ralawata, PCC Member, Smt Naseem Aktar Ex-MLA and other dignitaries.

Also there was inauguration of 5 skill centers at different locations of other assembly's of Ajmer. Jawahar Foundation aims to provide training to women in cutting and tailoring job work and make them well-trained and self reliant by setting Self Help Groups (SHG) for them. Thousands of women will be empowered to work on their own through these programs.

Priyadarshani Awards 2019, Ajmer

To promote girl education and workmen safety a grand program was organized by Jawahar Foundation to felicitate girl students of Ajmer city who had excelled and set high standards in the field of arts, sports and education in their respective schools. In collaboration with District Education office and NGO Purvanchal, a big event was organized to felicitate 650 meritorious students in heart of the city at Jawahar Rangmanch in Ajmer. The chief guests present during the occasion were; Smt Naseem Aktar Former Education Minister, Shri Gopal Behati Ex-MLA, Shri Mahender Singh Ralawata, PCC Member, Shri Rajender Goyal, President team Purvanchal and Shri Rajnish kumar OSD, LNJ Bhilwara Group. Girl students were excited at this endeavor and thanked the foundation for recognizing their achievements.

State Hockey Tournament, Ajmer

A State Level Hockey Tournament was organized at Chandra Vardai Stadium in Ajmer. Teams from all over the Rajasthan participated in this State Tournament. This is the first time where Ajmer witnessed Day and Night Tournament having flood lights used during the matches played. Among those who were present during the matches; Shri Devender Singh Shekhawat, President Hockey Association (Ajmer) and Shri Rajnish Kumar OSD, LNJ Bhilwara Group. Sooner the Ajmer stadium will get permanent lights so that more day and night events could take place.

3rd National Savate Sports Championship

The 3rd National Savate Championship was organized in Sagar region of Ajmer where teams participated from all over India including Rajasthan. Ajmer city acted as host to organize the event where participants were from age group of 6 to 21 years. Both boys and girls total comprising 1200 students were witness during this event. The sports event is light format comprised a mix of Karate and Taekwondo. The chief guest present during the event were; Shri Hemant Bhati & Shri Gyan Ahuja (Ward Councillor), Shri Saurabh Yadav, Shri Shiv Bansal and Shri Rajnish Kumar – OSD, LNJ Bhilwara Group.

Chat Mahotsav 2019, Bhilwara

Under CSR initiative of LNJ Bhilwara Group, 3 day festival of Chat Mahotsava was organised with full enthusiasm. The Labour community from states like UP, Bihar, West Bengal who are thousands in number celebrates this mega festival on large scale. Family members worship lord Sun both during sunset and during sunrise. Under the banner of local NGO, Purvanchal Jan Chetna Samiti (PJCS) a musical evening was organized where artist came from Mumbai and the troupe of Singer Rajesh Pandey performed with great passion. Thousands of people witnessed the program and message of water conservation and clean Bhilwara were spread among the audiences.

BIL: Donation to Govt. Primary School, Faridabad

To provide better facilities for the children of Govt. Primary School, Khori Lakkarpur, Faridabad, Bhilwara Infotech Limited, under its CSR initiatives donated necessary items like chairs with desks, white boards, black boards, sweaters, shoes & socks, a water dispenser and a cooler.  

Students were happy and thanked Smt. Jyoti Gupta and the BIL team for this great initiative.  The children felt that these items will enable them to enhance their learning skills.
