VKV Rishabhdev: No Plastic Campaign

On the occasion of Gandhi & Shastri Jayanti a special assembly was conducted by the students of Vashishtha House where they presented various programs. A rally was also organized in Rishabhdev town to avoid the use of plastic. They spoke various slogans to save our environment from plastic. The students displayed a skit showing ill effects of using plastic and remedies or its alternatives at the bus stand of Rishabhdev. They all took Oath to save environment and avoid the use of plastic. It was organized at the very first time in the history of the school. The programme ended with a nature care note and plantation drive by the students of Nature Club and Eco Club.

VKV Rishabhdev: ISRO Tour

As an integral part of learning the students of classes VI to X (88) had an Educational tour to ISRO, Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh) Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR. It was a 5 days programme, from 7th -11th October, 2019. The students visited Space Museum Launching Pad I, Launching Pad II and Mission Control Room. The special arrangements were made by ISRO for live launching of an experimental rocket for finding atmospheric changes. It was an unforgettable moment of their life. All the students submitted a project report of the same after their Educational Tour to ISRO.

VKV Rishabhdev: Dussehra Celebration

Dussehra festival was celebrated with lots of fervor and enthusiasm on 5th October, 2019. A huge effigy of Ravana with ten heads was burnt. The students raised the slogans of ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ and enjoyed ‘Garba’ (Dandiya) form of dance. The tiny tots from the Junior section were attired in the costumes of Lord Rama, Lakshman and Sita. They presented a skit of ‘Sita Haran’. The primary objective of the entire show was to convince the students that no matter how intelligent a person is, his pride will be the reason of his collapse.

VKV Rishabhdev: Children's Day

The Children’s Day was celebrated on 14th November which marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in all the schools across the nation with great enthusiasm and zeal. On this occasion, a fancy dress competition was held for junior classes. The students in their vibrant fancy costumes were looking sweet and adorable. They all dressed up in a way that every student with their outfit was trying to spread some valuable and informative message for all. 

VKV Rishabhdev: National Constitution Day

National Constitution Day was celebrated on 26th November, 2019. The Preamble and Fundamental duties were read by the students and a pledge was taken by all the students as well as staff members to uphold the values of India. A quiz regarding National Constitution Day was also conducted on the same day. It was a house wise competition which consisted of four rounds including - General Round, Important Articles related constitution, Features borrowed from other countries and Important Leaders. It was a very informative for the students.

VKV Hurda: Annual Prize Distribution

On October 2, 2019 the Annual Prize Distribution Function of our school was held in the beautifully decorated hall. Sri Anil Batra graced us with his presence as the Chief Guest of the programme. He was welcomed by Honorable Sri Raghunandan Sir, Smt. Vasantha Ma’am, Smt. Asha Ma’am and the members of the Management. The function started with Mantra Chanting by the school choir. The Class Toppers were felicitated and they were given shields, certificates and were also rewarded with cash prizes.

The felicitation was followed by mesmerizing performance by LKG and UKG students followed by orchestra performance, patriotic tunes was played which made the ambiance patriotic. Special awards were also given to the students who excelled in different Olympiads.

Gunjan Jain of class tenth 2018-19 who secured 98.4% and stood first in Bhilwara district, was felicitated and given a cash prize of Rs.11000/-.

Shri Raghunandan Sir thanked the Chief Guest and the programme ended with National Anthem.

VKV Hurda: Swachh Abhiyaan

The School organized cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat programme. This Abhiyaan was conducted from 2nd October, 2019 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and its benefits. Under this programme all the students from Classes V to XII had participated in the drive. They cleaned their classes and the surroundings. Teachers also delivered the speeches telling us the importance of sanitation in the assembly. On October 4, 2019 students of Classes Sixth to Eight marched Swacch Abhiyaan Rally within the School Campus. The students recited the slogans regarding Swachhata in the Rally. On October 7th, 2019 we concluded the Abhiyaan by taking oath of keeping our school, home, locality and city clean.

VKV Hurda: Painting Competition

Students from various schools of Rajasthan State participated in the State Level Painting Competition organized by the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Four students of our school participated in it. Three students from Class Seventh Khushi Jain, Rohit Choudhary and Tanishq Biswas and one student from Class Sixth Navya Agiwal. Students touched many aspects related to the topic “Save Energy” and creatively portrayed their ideas wonderfully. Among them three students Khushi Jain, Rohit Choudhary and Tanishq Biswas bagged consolation prizes.

VKV Hurda: English Olympiad

The English Olympiad competition was conducted on 15th October, 2019 in which 130 students have participated. Among all of them six students awarded with Gold Medals, four were awarded with Silver Medals and four with the Bronze Medals.

VKV Hurda: Counselling Session

This year also counselling session was conducted by Anil Choudhary for motivating the students of class XI and XII (Science & Commerce) sections. One of our ex-student Harshit Shankhla, presently doing M.S (Artificial Intelligence) at IIIT Hyderabad also address the students of classes IX to XII delivered a motivating speech and shared his educational experiences.

VVV Maral: CBSE Hubs of Learning Training

VVV Maral as the Lead Collaborator for CBSE Hubs of Learning organized a unique Capacity Building teacher training programme for the teachers based on

Neuro Linguistic Programming, to enable them to understand varied learners and develop coordination skills for better functioning at school. Total 60 teachers from 8 schools of district participated in this training.

VVV Maral: Red Day Celebration

'It's sharing time... santa time, with cakes and candies'

Red day and Christmas celebration for Pre Primary kids of VVV Maral saw delighted eyes and ambience filled with squeals of joy as the children baked cup cakes and shared candies with others. They experienced the happiness of sharing bounties and joy of giving. Having tried their hands at cup cake baking, they got all set to coax their parents in joining in baking activity at home.

VVV Maral: Art Integrated Learning and NLP Training

The teachers of LNJ Group Schools commit to continuous learning and enhancement of teaching pedagogy and quality. With the stalwart efforts and guidance of Management, a 3 day workshop for the teachers was organized at Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar from 20th to 22nd December 2019. The Neuro Linguistic Programming based capacity building workshop on Day 1, gave an internal eye opener experience to teachers for knowing their strengths and weak areas through outbound sessions, thus becoming sensitive humans and seasoned teachers. They experienced the nuances of multiple learning styles ranging from Visual, Auditory & Kinesthetic and gathered the learning for understanding varied learners in a better way and giving them appropriate learning experiences. As said ‘Teaching is an Art in itself’ Art can be the best medium of making learning sustainable and deep rooted.

Art Integrated Learning workshop on Day 2 made the teachers learn various art forms and their implementation in pedagogy in classes. On day 3 the teachers presented model lessons integrating these art forms on various classroom concepts and analysed the effectiveness. Total 38 teachers carried the learning and experience to their schools for implementation and modifying the learning experience of students.

VVV Maral: Painting Exhibition at SayyaJi

On 18th December 2019, a unique fashion show was organized for Old Age Home resident ladies at Indore. The old ladies were the participants of a beautiful fashion show of sarees, purposely for their esteem building and feel good experience. Our students became the participants of this society oriented activity. They decorated clay pots and made  paintings using warli art fused with their creativity, for the exhibition which was alongside this fashion show. The motive of this activity was to make our students aware about the social scenario and to give experience of exhibition and sale through this small business. Sale of pots was a new experience for the students. The whole activity was full of fun and learning.

VVV Maral: Student's Industrial Visit

An Industrial visit at Maral Overseas Limited was organised on 27th December, 2019 for school students. The Industrial visit is considered as one of the tactical methods of teaching. The main reason behind this visit is that, student should know things practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. The main aim of industrial visit is to provide an exposure to students about practical working environment as per the CBSE curriculum and knowing the practical aspects of subject, our commerce students of class XI and XII visit and learned about complete process of making Fabrics, Knitting Cloths and Garments.

VVV Maral: Gandhi Jayanti

On 2nd October, the birth anniversary of Gandhi ji, School conducted many message oriented activities. Students from nursery to class II performed Dandi March in the memory of Gandhi ji. Sub juniors presented a role play on health and hygiene and the Junior students were busy in making paper bags and they distributed these paper bags in the society with the message of “No Plastic” use.

For senior students, a talk show was organized which had a discussion about biodegradable and non-biodegradable plastics. Students put logical views in the discussion and learnt how they can save environment by ‘just’ selection of plastic material.

VVV Maral: National Song Competition

The student’s performance of Vivekananda Vidya Vihar in the National Song Competition organized by the Bharat Vikas Parishad on the National Level was remarkable. Two Hindi and Sanskrit songs were performed during the competition and our school got third place in the tournament due to an exceptional performance of our school students in the field of singing. 

VVV Maral: Navratri Celebration

The Navratri Festival was celebrated in the school with full enthusiasm. All the children, parents & teachers in traditional dresses celebrated this festival together with great enjoyment. The programme was started with lightning of the lamp and then fancy dress competition was held for small kids. The solo dance competition for sub juniors was themed on Devi Aradhana. Most exciting feature of the programme was Garba Competition for parents and also of Junior and Senior group students. Best three performances of parents were also awarded by the school.

VVV Maral: Parent Teacher Meeting

After mid term examination, Parents Teacher Meet was held in school on 12th October 2019. It was organised in an innovative and creative way with Diya Making, Diya Decoration and Karaoke singing activities. The parents and children took part in all the activities enthusiastically and got the opportunity to show their talents.

VVV Maral: Donation Drive

Before Deepavali students got involved in a divine work which took them close to the society. This awareness program was to donate some useful material to underprivileged children. For this purpose, first of all each student made paper bags. Making a paper bag itself was an indirect message in the welfare of environment. Afterwards students brought material like sweets, crackers, lamps, clothes, toffees, chocolates etc. from their home to fill these paper hamper bags. Each student got one bag and personally reached to needy children and gave them the gift hamper. It was really a great experience and learning for students as well as for school. 

VVV Maral: Deepawali Celebration

Deepawali is always a joyful festival for all of us. The school organised many activities on 24th October 2019 on the eve of Deepawali. Sub junior students decorated their classrooms while Junior and Senior section students participated in Display Board Decoration and Rangoli Competition.

VVV Maral: Sports Meet

Aligning with CBSE FIT School movement, school organised a week long sports meet for all the students, celebrating various milestone achievements. Sports meet was inaugurated by Ms Pavi Dubey – District Sports Officer and SMC members, gracefully by lighting the torch. Talents in athletic competitions like hundred mtr race, 200 mtr race football, long jump, shot-put, volleyball, football, cricket, fish race could be identified in this sports meet. All school houses competed in various team events and gave tough fights for their respective positions. It was a successful event which gave more champions to the school.

VVV Maral: English Debate

In the regular co-curricular activities on 30th November 2019 many literary competitions were organised. Sub junior students participated in quotation competition, while there was a debate competition on ‘Teacher should be replaced by computer.’ for junior students and senior students took part in extempore competition on topics. All the participant students took part with excitement and performed well.

VVV Maral: State Level Badminton Competition

Two of our school badminton players Mas. Sanjeevni Dhere and Mas. Aman Mishra participated in the State Level Badminton tournament with great passion. They both stood winners at 65th SGFI Badminton Tournament. It was a great achievement for both the students and they were appreciated and encouraged by School principal and staff to play on a National Level competitions. 

VVV Maral: NSSC Karate Competition

Our School girls shined bright in the Netaji Subhash Sports Complex (NSSC) Karate Championship organised by Nimar Sahodaya. They have won 3 Gold and 1 Bronze Medals out of the four different weight categories and also claimed the overall champion’s trophy of the tournament. The achievement has brought pride and success to the school. 

VVV Maral: State Level Drawing Competition

Ms. Jaivika Kushvah of class VI secured 5th position in State and got a consolation prize of Rs 7500/- from the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, also getting a cash prize of Rs 2000/- for division level selection in Energy Conservation painting competition themed on specific subjects of power saving and alternate energy sources as organized by NHDC (Ministry of Power) and MP government. Total 11,85,000  students from 79,250 Schools of all over MP state participated in the competition. Mas. Anurag Patidar of class IX has also won the position at division level and got selected for state level competition; he also received a cash prize of Rs 2000/- on this triumph.

Graphite School: 2nd International Sports & Games

Indian Sports Federation organized II International Karate 2019 on 23rd and 24th November 2019 at Assonora Sports Complex, Mapusa (Goa). Our student, Mas. Pradeep Kumar Naik of class VIII participated in the Karate competition under the category of under-55 kg event Kumite. He represented the India in Karate and bagged 2nd prize and brought laurels to the school. He was felicitated with a medal and a certificate.

Graphite School: State Level Ball Badminton Tournament

The Students participated in the Ball Badminton game held from 20th September to 2nd October, 2019. They have participated in the category of Under 19 boys and girls, Under 17 girls, Under 14 boys and girls events held at Bhopal. The winners of the tournament were - Under 17 girl’s bagged 2nd prize and Under 14 boys’ and girl’s got 1st prize in the tournament which is a great achievement for the students as well as School.

Graphite School: SGFI Kho-Kho Divisional Tournament

School students participated in the Divisional Kho-Kho Tournament held at Ganjbasoda. Five divisional level teams of Bhopal took part in the tournament. The Under 14 boy’s team grabbed the second prize and Under 14 girl’s team grabbed the first prize of the tournament and brings laurels to the school.

Another, SGFI - Divisional Kho-Kho tournament was held at Saharanpur on 3rd October 2019. Our Students took part in under 17 and under 19 girls and boys. The Under 19 girls bagged 1st prize and boys got 3rd prize and Under 17 boys got 2nd prize in the tournament.

Graphite School: Spell Bee Exam

India’s most Innovative Education Ltd organized the Spell Bee International Humming Bird English Exam in Graphite School on 3rd December 2019. In all 72 students of the School enthusiastically participated in the exam and showcased their skills of English language. The exam is conducted to find the hidden talent of the nation in English through the spell bee exam.

Graphite School: CBSE Story Telling Competition

CBSE organized the first story telling competition for students of the school with the aim to enhance creativity, analysis, thinking and evaluation skills and developing English communication. The story telling competition was narrating story by each student in his/her own and unique way in a fixed time limit. It was conducted in school on 25th November 2019. Students participated in all four categories Primary, Middle Secondary and Senior Secondary level. Stories selected at school level were of Ku. Manya Mehta Varn viched –Aao dekhen shabdh Khol kar-Hindi, Ku. Arushi Yadav Balpan ki chanchalta-Hindi, Ku. Kritika Jena Compassion is the ultimate expression-English, Ku Pooja Verma story in accountancy Assets v/s Raveges of time - Accountancy. The selected four best recorded videos were uploaded for the next CBSE Regional level Competition. All the students got participation certificate in the competition.

Graphite School: NCC Camp

NCC camp was organized in Indore from 23rd November to 2nd December 2019. Ten boys of the school attended the camp at Indore. Cadets from all over the country attended the camp and in the Junior Division Mas. S. Kartik got first prize in the debate competition and was also given the award of best cadet. Students who attended the camp enjoyed and learnt to be spirited, bold and confident in life.

Graphite School: Innovation in Science Pursuit For Inspired Research

Our School students took part in the on-line inspire award ideas presentation. Mas. Neelesh Chourey student of class IX was selected from MP and got opportunity to participate in the next level. The INSPIRE AWARD being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation India aims to motivate students in the age group of 6 to 10. The objective is to target one million original ideas rooted in science and societal application from entire country.

Graphite School: English Month Activity

To enhance skills of English language and to give a platform to each student to showcase their skills in the language. A cluster of activities were conducted in school in the month of November 2019.School students participated in the activities with zeal and enthusiasm. .

Junior students presented Story & poem telling in colorful costumes and recited the story and poem with expression, creativity, good content and rich language. Students displayed themselves as great personalities which were mind-boggling. Other activities by senior students were making cartoon strips, declamation, extempore, book review self made poetry presentation. In all the activities students showcased their literary skills with excellent gestures, voice modulation and confidence .Story telling activity by Ku. Kritika Jena student of class IX on the topic - compassion is the ultimate expression was selected for representation in the CBSE story telling competition. 

Poster making activity was done by the students wherein they made posters and showed their own imaginations and creativity by navigating through the topics with proper blend of pictures and colors. Topics of poster making were I Love my School, prepositions, excursion, quotes, punctuation, William Shakespeare fact card, Figures of speech etc. In the whole month students were found geared up and smartly presented themselves in all the activities. 

Graphite School: Diwali Festival

Celebrating the festival of removing the darkness of ignorance and replacing it with the light of hope and knowledge, Diwali the festival of lights came live on 24th October, 2019 when the whole school wore a festive look with rangoli and decorative hangings, and assemblage of decorative lamps.

To spread the light of joy in the hearts of the all students presented an array of programs which included mesmerizing songs, stunning dances and alluring decorations. Expressing their joy amid the chanting of goddess Lakshmi mantra and seeking the blessings of the goddess. The students also wished all their teachers and friends A HAPPY DIWALI and showed regards to them.

Principal Smt. Vinita Mishra in her message to the students attuned them with the importance of the festival and asked them to have an eco-friendly Diwali and safe festival. Students were told to observe all the precautions in mind while firing the crackers.  

Graphite School: Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

One week intensive program to celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was conducted in school to make the students know the ideals, principles of the great man. All faith prayer singing showing respect to all and mono acting to make the students to practice Ahinsa, Swatchchta and Seva were the main activity.

Cleanliness drive was also conducted in and around the school and community area laid emphasis on the one time plastic use and safer disposal of waste. Awareness of hygiene, sanitation and   safety from diseases was conveyed through street show. Students showcased placards, banners, posters to convey the message of clean and green India. Planting trees, health checkup were other activities done in the school.

Students participated in the speech, poem, essay, slogan writing, elocution, talks on Gandhi.  Painting, Drawing, Film screening on Mahatma Gandhi and Quiz were also conducted for students to give them platform to explore their skills and understood the life of the great man. The presentations were a treat for all and a great learning experience for students.

Graphite School: Working & Applications of O-Lab

Government in order to strengthen the process of learning and teaching has enunciated the concept of E- Learning. Five different districts of MP were chalked for training and a group of teachers from each district were selected. This training was given through video conferencing at the venue. In Raisen District 14 teachers were selected for this training program, among them 5 were from Graphite School Mandideep.

The basic idea of this workshop training program was to define the various existing and up coming electronic and software applications developed under the planning of Government of India. Teachers were introduced to the working and applications of softwares like O-LABS  & E-BASTA, WEB- PORTALS.

Mr. Amit Maheshwari, Mr. Manoj Richhariya, Ms. Meenakshi Soni, Ms. Divya Sharma, Ms.Vartika Rai from Graphite School have participated in this training provided by C-DAC Mumbai on 23rd October, 2019 at Collectoate Office, Raisen.

Graphite School: CBSE Cluster Kho Kho Tournament

The Graphite School students participated in CBSE Cluster Games - Kho-Kho Tournament held at Peoples School, Bhopal from 11th to 13th October 2019. Boys and girls of under 19 team and under 17 team participated in the tournament and by exhibiting brilliant gaming skills & techniques, the boys team bagged III prize and girls bagged IV prize in the tournament. 

Graphite School: CBSE Zonal Inter School Handball Tournament

In the Inter School Sports 2019-20, Handball Tournament was held at Bhopal in which students of Graphite School took part in the under 17 and under 19 age category matches. In all 56 school's teams and 870 students took part in the tournament held at Krishna Valley School Mandideep, Raisen, MP. This event was organized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India. The Junior Group of Graphite School bagged the 3rd position in the tournament and bring laurels to school

Graphite School: CBSE Cluster - National Chess Tournament

The School students took part in CBSE National Chess Cluster Tournament held at Surat, Gujarat from 9th to14th November 2019. Four students of the school took part in the team of First Mini Game. The students played well and made an average score of 21/2 in 6 rounds. They also interacted with the FIDE players and got to know the skills & techniques of the game. Participant students and their scores were; Mas.Piyush Patel - 3 out of 6 points, Mas. Yuvraj Sarathe - 4 out of 6 points, Mas.Piyush Malviya - 3 out of 6 points and Mas. Bharat Mewada - 1.5 out of 6 points.

Graphite School: SGFI 63rd State Level Chess Tournament

63rd State Level Chess tournament was organized by SGFI at Datia, MP from 28th October to 2nd November 2019. Two students of Graphite School took part in the game under the guidance of the school chess coach Shri Vivek Sharma and made the school proud by their brilliant performances. Mas. Vicky Malviya – Class XI got 4 out of 6 points and Mas. Saksham Jain – Class XI got 3 out of 6 points. Both students showcased wonderful game spirit, confidence and collected applause from the judges. 

Graphite School: Science Exhibition

Many students participated in this competition. There were in all 25 working and non working models. Also there were more than 50 posters, some of them were really distinguishing, eye catching, captivating and spell binding .Students along with their parents visited the exhibition. One of the model of 11th class student "cheap electric bike" made by Mas. Prince Soni was the main focus of attraction among students and their parents who visited the exhibition.

Graphite School: 5th Annual Athletic & Sports Meet

The 5th Annual Athletic Meet &Sports Day was organized in Graphite School Mandideep on 15th November 2019 at the R&D centre HEG Ltd Mandideep. The Chief Guest of the program was Shri Anvesh Mangalam IPS, Additional General of Police Bhopal. Shri Ranadeep Chakraborty Vice President HEG Ltd, Shi Badri Prasad Chouhan President, Municipal Council Mandideep and Shri Rajesh Yadav Distt. Sports Education officer were the special guests of the sports meet.
