The initial excitement about the new Government at the center has finally settled down. After more than a year, it may be appropriate to examine the shape of the economy and the future prospects.
While broadly the economy’s outlook appears to be good, there has been concerns about deceleration in inflation caused by external factors as well as fall in domestic demand. The outlook for agriculture is not too great, and all this could have its implications on the business economy.
