Ringas: Medical camp for eye check-up

Under the CSR activities, a free eye checkup medical camp was organized in the RPSF plant for all staff & workers. Everyone enthusiastically participated in this camp and availed of this facility.

HEG: Global Vikas Trust

Continuation of Global Vikas Trust’s comprehensive interventions – water, soil, cropping patterns, and farming practices. Global Vikas Trust engaged 1858 farmers in 12 districts of Madhya Pradesh and 58.35 lakh fruit trees were planted.

There have been more than 285 training sessions conducted with support from HEG Ltd

Overall GVT is working with 15,066 farmers in 23 districts of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra and 155.95 lakh fruit trees were planted. In the coming months, the goal is to reach 350 lakh fruit tree plantations cumulatively.

Success Story:

  • Manoj Kumar Shroff and Narayan Beldar, from Titgaon Khurd of Burhanpur district in partnership, purchased 7200 banana saplings from GVT last year, out of which 6800 have been harvested from September 22 to November 22, they earned an income of almost 16,75,200 lakh rupees!

In mutual partnership, Manoj and Narayan planted their crops at a 6x5 feet distance on 4. acres of land, they and received sufficient training on the plantation. Overall they have earned an excellent income of Rs.4,18,800 per acre. Earlier they were cultivating cotton separately and had a meager Rs.63,000 per annum per acre.

  • Ghanshyam Nanjee Patidar from Mandavi village of Dhar district in, purchased 2700 papaya saplings from GVT in the month of April 2022, out of which 2200 have been harvested between Oct to December, he has earned an income of almost 1,79,000 lakh rupees from first two harvests!

Ghanshaym planted Papaya crops on 2.5 acres of land, he received sufficient training on the plantation and hopes the rest of these plants get ready to harvest later in the coming months. He hopes to reach a profit of at least 6.43 lakh with 80 tonnes of expected production. Earlier Ghanshaym was cultivating green gram with an income of only Rs. 35,000 – Rs.50,000 per acre and now he is earning Rs. 2,03,500 per acre per annum.

HEG: The Akshay Patra Foundation

Striving to end the hunger of underprivileged children and facilitate their education, The Akshaya Patra Foundation, a not-for-profit, Bangalore-based trust evolved a free lunch program in schools in the year 2000. The organization currently delivers mid-day meals to 20 lakh children in 22,367  government/government-aided schools and Anganwadis in 65 locations, across 16 states and union territories in India, Bhopal kitchen is 66th and will be serving more than 40,000 meals per school day. The organization today operates the world’s largest NGO-run school meal program in the world and has served more than 350 crore cumulative meals till date.

HEG Supported Community Feeding Program:

HEG is distributing cooked meals prepared at Akshaya Patra Kitchen under a community feeding program to ensure food and nutrition security for low-income families especially children. To date, TAPF distributed 6,69,716 meals across 20 centres in 15 locations across Bhopal city with our support. From July 2021 to December 2021 TAPF distributed 2,96,000 meals.

WASH (Hand Washing & Personal Hygiene Awareness) Campaign in Community Feeding Sites:

The Akshaya Patra Foundation organized WASH awareness campaign in 15 locations across Bhopal city from 13th July to 6th August 2022. These programs were organized on hand wash and personal hygiene.

HEG: Apna Ghar Ashram, Bhopal

An ashram for the homeless, set up by HEG in Bhopal has received a warm response and the ashram is now running with an enhanced capacity of 120 Prabhu Ji, which was earlier to house 50 Prabhu Ji. We had Rescued 329 Prabhu Ji till now and Rehabilitated 74 of them. Between Jul-Dec 2022, we rescued 87 Prabhu Ji and rehabilitated 13 Prabhu Ji have rejoined their family and loved ones from the ashram. This organization is running 55 such Ashrams in 54 different cities across India and one Ashram in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Apna Ghar Ashram Bhopal is continuing the mission to give homage, hope, and happiness to the homeless, destitute, oppressed, helpless, abandoned, mentally and physically sick, injured, infected, old aged, and dying condition persons.

Reunion of Sanjeev Prabhuji after 6 years with the family:

On 14th Nov 2022, a missing person was united with his family by Apna Ghar Ashram, Bhopal. According to Sanjeev Agrawal’s family, he was missing for 6 years and the family searched for him everywhere but were unable to find him.

Sanjeev was rescued on 27th Oct 2022, he was mentally sick and was unable to share any information about himself, even though he did not remember his name, the Ashram staff named him Dilip Prabhu Ji. After treatment and counseling, he was able to share about himself and his family members, he shared the contact number of his sister and thus Ashram was able to locate his family. His sister Mrs. Sunita Gupta along with her husband came to Ashram and Sanjeev was reunited with the family.

Ringas: Eye check-up Camp for workmen

Ringas : Industrial Visit of Government Senior Secondary School Students

As a part of CSR, a delegation of students with teachers of Government Senior Secondary School, Ringas visited our Plant on 29.09.2022. The HR team facilitated them and arranged a detailed visit inside the mills, where technical members explained the technology and process. The students learned about various processes of yarn manufacturing and felt extremely delighted to see the technology and setup.

The HR team facilitated them and arranged a detailed visit inside the mills, where technical members explained the technology and process. The students learned about various processes of yarn manufacturing and felt extremely delighted to see the technology and setup.

Ringas: BLOOD DONATION CAMP

On the auspicious occasion of the Birth Day of Chairman Emeritus Syt. Babuji LNJ on 17th October 2022 a voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized in association with Shri Munshi Ram Mittal Memorial Seva Samiti, Sikar.
Staff & Family Members and Workers of Spg & RCPF actively participated in this camp and donated 108 Units of Blood.
Certificates were also given to participants by us as well as the Blood bank team. 

RSWM : Eye checkup & Physiotherapy Camp

On 17th December'22 RSWM Staff Club organized an Eye check-up camp in collaboration with Thakkar Healthcare & Research Centre for all the employees and their families.

Under this initiative, people joined these camps for their eye check-ups and physiotherapy and consulted with experts.

RSWM Rishabhdev : Sweater distribution by Ladies Club

Ladies Club of RSWM Rishabhdev is doing charity functions as part of its yearly activity.  On November, 22, the ladies club team under the leadership of Smt.Usha Khator visited Swami Vivekanand Netraheen Ucch Madhyamic Vishesh Vidyalaya, Dungarpur, and distributed sweaters to sixty-five students. Food items were also served to them. Smt.Pushpa Manilal, Smt.Vijaya Sodani, Smt.Sunita Ladha and Smt.Krishna Kanwar from the Ladies Club participated in the programme.   

MPCL : Women Sewing Training Centre

MPCL has started the six months of sewing training (cutting & tailoring) under CSR for women of the project affected village since March 2017. At present women sewing training centre running in upper Chowki village. Approximately 20 women are being trained in this training centre.

MPCL : Plantation Drive

The plantation drive was done by Malana Power Co. Ltd. on December 31, 2022, at Saroya village under Garsa Panchayat of district Kullu HP. 1000 plants of Cedrus deodara were planted there with the help of villagers, Jamdagni mahila mandal, Vill.-Siyah along with panchayat members. Tea & snacks were also served to all after the program. The plantation is very important for the conservation and restoration of the ecosystem. This would be a memorable gift for the future generation.

MPCL : Inaugural Ceremony of SVM School

Inauguration of the newly constructed Sarswati Vidya Mandir School building at Chhanikhor Kullu, HP. by Smt. Toli Devi chief guest (land donor) on November 18, 2022. MPCL representatives were also present during the Inaugural CeremonyThis school building was constructed by Malana Power Company Limited.

MPCL : Awareness Program on Drug Addiction and Drawing Competition

MPCL organized awareness programs with the help of the Human Welfare Society Kullu on Drug Addiction and Drawing Competition at Govt. Middle School Kasol on November 19, 2022. Centre Head Teacher and Director Human Welfare Society addressed the students about the consequences of Drug Addiction and how to protect themselves from drugs. A drawing competition was also conducted on the same day participated by students, followed by books/ stationary distribution.

MPCL : Free Medical Health Checkup Camp

A free medical general health checkup camp was conducted by Malana Power Company Limited on November 27, 2022, at Kasladhi School under Pini Panchayat of Kullu, HP. A team of doctors was invited from Sri Harihar Hospital Dhalpur, Kullu for this camp. A total of 237 registrations including children was recorded during the camp. Medicines prescribed by the doctors during the camp were also provided by the MPCL on free of cost basis.

 

ADHPL : Atal Gyan Kedra

ADHPL in coordination with the district authorities has setup small “Atal Gyan Kendra" libraries at Gram Panchayat level, to give a boost to the education sector in the surrounding villages. 5 such Atal Gyan Kendra libraries have been set up in the nearby villages viz. Gram Panchayats Nasogi, Jagatsukh, Gahar and Prini in the current financial year. The Company donated 1544 books and  11 computers with printers for these libraries in the presence of the BDO Naggar Ms. Oshin Sharma. The initiative was appreciated by the local community at large.

ADHPL : Computers and Printers donated

ADHPL donated Computers with printer to Govt. Senior Secondary School, Haripur and Govt. High School, Neuli-Kullu (HP) on Nov. 10, 2022. The equipment will boost the educational facility in the schools. The Principals and the staff of both the schools thanked ADHPL for providing computers with all accessories and printers for the use of children

ADHPL : Sewing Center Reopened at Bhanara village

The sewing training centre for local women was reopened in village Bhanara of Jagatsukh Panchayat on 12th Oct 2022 under ADHPL CSR activities. This will empower women to earn a livelihood while being at home. The vocational training is being provided by a trained person (female tailor) and approximately 30 women attend training at the training centre

ADHPL : Sanitary Pad Incinerator Machine Donated

ADHPL has taken an initiative to support the Prime Ministers Swatchta Abhiyan under its CSR banner. The Company donated three nos. sanitary pad incinerators to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Bandrol - Kullu (HP). The machines were installed and commissioned on Nov. 28, 2022 in the presence of the Principal JNV Bandrol and ADHPL Team. The Principal JNV Bandrol, staff members and students appreciated the initiative and thanked ADHPL

ADHPL : Sports Kits Distributed in Local Schools

ADHPL took initiative to boost sports activities at a school level in the local area. Sports kits consisting of volleyballs, basketballs, badminton rackets, shuttle cocks, and nets were donated to 34 Nos. Govt. schools in Naggar block in the presence of Block Resource Centre Co-ordinator (BRCC) Mr.  Sikander Thakur on 19 Nov 2022 and 22 Nov 2022. Mr.  Sikander Thakur, Principals, and School staff thanked ADHPL for this initiative

ADHPL : Construction of footpath

ADHPL constructed a footpath for Jamdagni Mahila Mandal, a women's self-help group, at Village Chalet on Allain road, which is being used by them to go to their orchards and cater to their daily household needs.

ADHPL : Repair, Distempering & Painting of Aleo School Building

The ADHPL had constructed a School building of Govt. Primary School Aleo earlier in the year 2008 under the CSR activities. A request was received from the headmaster for repairs to the school building. The school building was taken up for repair works under CSR activities during FYs 2021-22 and 2022-23 over two years period. This year the remaining of works distempering, painting, slogan writing and other finishing works in the Aleo school building were carried out. The Total financial implication on the CSR activity during the two-year period was approx. Rs. 0.60M.

 

 

ADHL : Construction of Boundary Wall at Jagatsukh School

ADHL constructed the boundary wall of Jagatsukh Senior Secondary School to prevent the entry of stray animals and wild animals into the school premises. The school management and Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Jagatsukh were thankful to the ADHPL for taking up this work.

ADHPL : Construction of Kuhal (water channel) in Shuru village

ADHPL constructed Kuhal (water channel) for Village Shuru. The Kuhal serves as a supply line of water to cater to different needs including irrigation of orchards, washing clothes, feeding livestock etc. for the village.

ADHPL : Planted 2600 saplings in August 2022

A plantation drive was organised with local women's self-help groups, State Forest Department and Pollution Control Board from August 2nd - 20th 2022. Approx. 2600 saplings of deodar and other broad-leaved species were planted at Village Khanool, Bhanara, Jagatsukh, Shuru, and Hamta areas.

ADHPL: Supports Samphia Foundation - Aash Child Development Center

ADHPL sponsored Samphia Foundation- Aash Child Development Center for organizing a Workshop in DAV school Mohal, Kullu for sensitizing the students to inclusive development of specially-abled children. During the program, the Samphia Foundation informed about the activities being done by the organization and thanked  AD Hydro Power Ltd. for supporting the Samphia Foundation.
