VKV Hurdra : Art & Craft Exhibition
VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, HURDA
ART & CRAFT EXHIBITION AT BHILWARA
Two Days Art & Craft Exhibition was organized at Bhilwara on November 24 & 25, 2022. Two hundred paintings made by the students were displayed. Sri Rajesh Goyal (ADM Bhilwara) inaugurated the exhibition. Principal Ma’am Smt. Asha Goyal addressed the students with a motivational speech. According to her one of the main aims of the exhibition is to nurture the talent and potential of the students.
Many students from Bhilwara schools also visited the exhibition. Some of the artists also demonstrated different kinds of paintings using charcoal, watercolors, oil colors, etc. The art show was huge and successful. We hope to have some more successful events like this in the near future to bring out the talents of the children.
VKV Hudra : Chess Tournament

Chess Tournament organized by the Rajasthan Government
I). Bhilwara District Tournament conducted at St. Anselm’s School, Bhilwara. Six students of VKV Hurda bagged the prizes. 64 students from the Bhilwara district participated in the event.
II). FIDE Tournaments – Sirohi and Jaipur
(1) Aaradhya Upadhyay FIDE Rating – Student of Class III
Has been declared as Rajasthan State Champion with a Trophy and Cash Prize of Rs.5000/-. She will represent Rajasthan in National Tournament, Pondichery.
She holds the 2nd position in State Under 10 category
She holds the 2nd position in State Under 11 category
She holds the 6th position in State Under 19 category
(2) Nandini Purohit – Student of Class VII
She also received 1st position in Rajasthan in the under-13 category.
VKV Hudra : Children's Fair
On the occasion of the Children's Day Celebration on 14.11.2022, the school organized the fair from 9 am to 3 pm. Students along with their parents were invited to the fair.
The fair was inaugurated by Shri N.K Bahediyaji, CEO of RSWM, Kharigram. The school Principal Smt. Ashaji Goyal Ma’am welcomed the dignitaries.
There were various stalls and Jumping Jack to attract the students. The students enjoyed it a lot. They all danced to the music system and had delicious snacks.
It was a well-organised fair full of fun and entertainment.

CBSE Narmada Sahodaya Schools Cluster Chess Competition (District Level) winners - Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar swept the CBSE Narmada Sahodaya Schools Cluster Chess Competition (District Level) by winning positions in all 3 categories for Boys. Efforts of Chess Coaching at the centralized level in LNJ Group Schools enabled the students to show their talent and potential in the game and brought laurels to School.

Co-Curricular Activity on Sustainable Developmental Goals - Under CCA Activities, Inter-house Quiz and Essay writing competition were held at VVV Maral. The theme of the quiz competition was ‘Nature’ based on various SDGs- Life on Land. Senior students wrote an essay on the topic "Me and Tree” after watching a movie based on trees.

Japanese Visitors to School - Guests of Maral Overseas Limited from UNIQLO Japan visited Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar school and much appreciated the facilities, technological interventions, and aesthetic development initiatives in the school. They were accompanied by School and MOL Trustee-Owner Mr. Shantanu Agarwal, President MOL Mr. S N Goyal, and VP HR MOL Mr. Manoj Thakker.

VVV Maral Sarovar : Poster Making Competition
VVV Maral Sarovar organized an Inter-House Poster competition in two categories i. e. Junior and Senior on 23/07/2022, Saturday. The aim of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. The theme of the competition was ‘Save Animals’ for juniors and ‘Use Green energy- Stop Pollution’ for seniors. The young learners displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters Students of all three houses participated in the competition with immense zeal and enthusiasm and made beautiful posters. This CCA activity was completely dedicated to SDG - 7 Affordable and Clean Energy.

VVV Maral Sarovar : Parent Teacher Meeting
Sustainable Developmental Goals based Parent Teacher Meeting - Vivekanand Vidya Vihar aims to develop responsible citizens and students and instill the value of environment conservation and social welfare. These values reflect in each and every activity of the school. Keeping the same vision, on the first PTM of this session, a plantation drive was organized. This plantation drive was completely designed for the parents. Parents showed great enthusiasm for it and our SDG Club students got around 50 saplings planted. It was really a great day for our students who were happy to get their assessment feedback and on the other hand, they were learning the practical lesson of responsibility towards the environment.

Investiture Ceremony - On the 75th anniversary of independence, Vivekanand Vidya Vihar celebrated the day in a dignified way and held the Investiture Ceremony for school leadership. Students performed beautiful musical performances in the programme. The President of Maral Overseas Ltd was the chief guest of the programme. He also administered the oath to all the members of the school, house, and class council.
VVV Maral : SGFI Table tennis
SGFI Table tennis District Level Winners - VVV Maral students swept the Table Tennis floor at the District Level competition emerging as Overall Winner School with 1st and 2nd positions in U17 Boys, 1st 2nd, and 3rd positions in U19 boys. Also, they secured 3rd position both in U14 boys and U17 Girls.
VVV Maral Sarovar : Tribute to Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar
Tribute to Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar - On the 227th "punyatithi" of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar , the students of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar paid musical tribute to the queen of Maheshwar(Malwa) who fought the challenges in the path of governance and continually worked for the empowerment and upliftment of the general public community. In the programme "Ahilya Utsav" organised at Maheshwar, VVV Maral music students of classes 5th to 8th performed on the stage and gathered huge applaud.

SGFI Netball State Level winners - Khargone district SGFI Netball team trials were organized by Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar, where students performed well and showed their calibre & skills for District team selections. 35 VVV Maral students a got selected for Division Level Netball Tournament at Indore. Further 9 students were selected for 66th SGFI State level Netball Championship and brought laurels as listed -

VVV Maral Sarovar : Doctors Day
Doctors Day:- To honour the Doctors for their selfless service, VVV Maral invited Dr Dhananjay Upadhyay to share his Journey and Tips to lead a healthy life. Many parents and students took benefit from Dr. Dhananjay's advice- He emphasized precautions to be adopted, following a hygienic routine and healthy eating habits. He advised the intake of fruits at the right times of the day and advised the teachers to take care of their health by looking at their standing and movement full strenuous work taking classes and managing students and school activities.
VVV Maral Sarovar : Guru Purnima Celebration
Guru Purnima Celebration: - Guru is not a person but an element. The concept of Guru in India is not seen anywhere else in the world. The importance of Guru in Indian civilization has been said more than God. A special assembly was organized in the school by imbibing the same feeling. First of all, the school council members worshiped the symbol of Gurutva Charan Padukas. After this, Guru praise, Guru hymns, and poetry recitation by students made this assembly even more fantastic. Everyone did Guru-pranam and resolved to imbibe positive thoughts in their lives.
VVV Maral Sarovar : Sustainable Developmental Goals Assembly
"Forests are the lungs of planet earth" and also a boon for human society. The awareness of this is necessary and realizing this responsibility, students of class IX of VVV Maral presented a special assembly on this theme covering the theme of SDG 15 -Life on Land. Students prepared a beautiful dance performance depicting tribal tradition highlighting how Trees and Tribes coexist and are an integral part of each other. The assembly was much appreciated and conveyed an impactful message.

Rainy Day was celebrated by VVV little toddlers to enable them to understand the season from all aspects. In their rainy dresses, they enjoyed lunch of rainy season food and learned the significance of such food for healthy living. VVV Maral Sarovar : Eco Friendly Ganpati
VVV Maral students made eco-friendly Ganpati and enthroned the deity in school. Every morning a class took the turn to pray and seek blessings for everyone's success and peace in the world. The enthusiastic students offer '56 type prasad blog and reverberate the "Ganesh Mantra" in true spirit. Every evening the boarders with residential teachers did the Ganpati 'seva' and celebrated the togetherness with interesting games and presentations
VVV Maral Sarovar - Parent Teacher Meeting
“Holistic development of a child depends upon the hard work and involvement of student, parent and teacher. These three stakeholders’ integrated efforts give the best learning outcomes.” Vivekananda Vidya Vihar, and Maral Sarovar conducted the Parent Teacher Meeting for the Result Declaration of Term I Examination- 2022-23. Parents met the concerned educators to get clarity on the performance of their wards. A special parent engagement initiative staging,Diya making, Garba dance and Piano Music were also part of the event.

Parent Engagement Programme - Adapting a new curriculum in education is not only a positive change in enhancing the teaching-learning process but it is also a great experience for teachers, parents, and ultimately for children to about advanced content and explore avenues of the children’s personalities further. Chrysalis curriculum adopted at VVV Maral is one such type of curriculum that is concerned about child thinking progress and Metacognition. The parent engagement programme cum PTM on 10th Oct. for class I and II based on this curriculum were organized. Through this programme parents experienced the pedagogy of think room transformation in kids and were made aware of their role as a parent.
VVV Maral Sarovar : Inter School Devotional Dance Competition
CBSE Sahodaya Inter School Devotional Dance Competition of 3 districts: VVV Maral organised the Interschool Devotional Dance Competition under the banner of CBSE Narmada Sahodaya Schools Cluster Khargone.
The splendid performance put up by participating schools created a real 'bhakti' atmosphere on stage almost akin to the Gods coming down to the calling of the devotees dancing to mesmerizing tunes. The winning school Shri Kanwartara Public School performed an enchanting Shiv Stuti dance followed by Runner-up Himalayan International School enthralling the gathering with their Gangaur mata bhakti dance.
The finesse in dance, the creativity in choreography, the exciting prop usage, and the perfected dance forms took the competition to a higher level.
The event was made successful by the glorious closing performance (non-competitive) of VVV MARAL students. The value-laced blessing words of Secretary NSSCK inspired all to follow the righteous path in true competitive spirit. The teachers' team of MARAL School contributed devotedly to making the programme a success.
VVV Maral Sarovar : Chess Championship
State Sub Junior Level Chess Championship : VVV Maral Students showed their proficiency of chess in Madhya Pradesh state sub-junior chess championship 2022, at IPS academy Indore, where Ishan Rathod of class VIII A secure 27th position and Sankhya Takzare of class X stands on 66th position in the State.
VVV Maral Sarovar : Painting Competition
State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation organised by the Government of India’s Initiatives NHDC and Energy Efficiency. Jaivika Kushwaha and Yatharth Kushwaha, students of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, who were participants in the event, were honored by State's Excellency Mangubhai Patel by giving them a certificate, LED bulb, and Rs.2000 in cash.

Annual Function: “Vivekotsav” - “Aavhan Prakrti ka ” was held in Vivekananda Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar. A commendable effort to highlight the importance of nature, the need to preserve it, and the application of SDGs (Sustainable Developmental Goals) in our lives, was beautifully portrayed by brilliant students, bringing awareness among the attending audience and viewers online. It was a celebration of true learning and true sustainable progress, vividly exploring and understanding the SDG’s as the need of the hour.
Chief Guest of the program Mr. Shekhar Agarwal Sir, Chairman and Managing Director of Maral Overseas Limited, and Special Guest Mrs. Shashi Agarwal, LNJ Schools mentor, and trustee, much appreciated the programme efforts. Mr. Shekhar Aggarwal addressed the students and emphasized the human values of knowledge, compassion, courage, humility, integrity, and reliability in the students as the foundation of school education. On this occasion, the best-performing students in the field of education and sports were honored.
VVV Maral Sarovar - National and State Level Netball Championship
Students of Vivekananda Vidya Vihar hoisted the flag in netball. Along with education, the trend in sports is also increasing. The students of the school have been showcasing their talents in various competitions ranging from inter-school to national level competitions.
Recently the students of the school Nihal Singh, Piyush Dhanare, Atharv Patel, Mansi Verma, and Shubhashree Bhoi represented the state team in the 28th Sub-Junior National Netball Championship being held in Haryana.
Success doesn't stop here – In the 35th Junior National Netball Championship at Howrah West Bengal in which Abhay Singh Suryavanshi, Vedansh Malik, Mahinoor Khan, Riya Mukati, and Akshara Tavar from school, represented the Madhya Pradesh team.
Students of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar also participated in the 1st Sub-Junior State Level Netball Championship Boys/Girls 2022 to represent Khargone District where the girls' team secured 3rd position.

An Award ceremony for grades 10th and 12th achievers was organised on the 4th of August, 2022. Mr. Anil Batra (Secretary, Ramarpan Educational Society) felicitated students with Mementos and certificates. School toppers for the session 2021-22 were Ms. Kriti Sevak of Grade 10 with 98.2%, and Ms. Shikha Jain of Grade 12 Commerce with 94% marks.

In keeping with our tradition, we at VKV Rishabhdev celebrated Independence Day with pomp and splendor. The sense of pride for the nation was clearly visible on everybody’s faces, the ambiance overwhelming with the feeling of liberty & freedom.
Our president SMC Mr. K. B. Khatod, in his speech encouraged our students to hold fast to our traditions and values that our freedom fighters purchased with their blood. During the program, the students presented stunning patriotic songs and dances.

Our little creative artists of VKV, Rishabhdev proved in the ART EXHIBITION at Suchana Kendra, Udaipur that " Art evokes the mystery without which the world would not exist"
21 students from VKV Rishabhdev displayed their Creative Art Work and more than 1000 students from different schools of Udaipur visited and appreciated their work. This exhibition was hosted under the supervision of our Art teacher Mr Ram Chandra Sharma.

Udaipur Tales International Storytelling Festival
Storytelling is a special human ability that is practised by individuals all around the world. It encourages children's wild, vivid imaginations while also boosting their self-esteem and speaking abilities. Udaipur Tales organized a storytelling competition for children of different age groups on Friday, 4 November. 75 students from across 15 Schools in Udaipur participated in the competition
Students of VKV Rishabhdev participated in UDAIPUR TALES (an international storytelling festival).
Lekhni Jain of Grade 6, Vandana Choubey of Grade 7, and Yashika Jain of Grade 2 were selected and performed at this international festival on 11 & 12 November 2022.

ADVENTUROUS TRIP AT NAINITAL
An exceptional ADVENTUROUS CAMPorganizednised at Van Niwas, Nainital in association with Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi Branch from 6th to 12th November 2022. 40 students and 5 teachers participated in this camp under the guidance .of Mr Vivek Jhunjhunwala. Students learned Time Management, Self-Discipline and participated in different activities like Boldering, Rock Climbing, Trekking, Meditation, Rappelling, River Crossing, Campfire, etc.
VKV Rishabhdev : National Level Selection
National Level Selection
Archery: Devendra Choudhary & Varshika Choudhary participated at CBSE Zonal Level Archery Championship held from 1st to 3rd December 2022 and were selected for National Level Archery Championship to be held in January 2023.
Chess: A under-19 team of Chess consisting of Sarthak Panchal, Sourabh Parmar, Dhruvin Jain, Yaksh Malasiya participated at the CBSE Zonal Level Chess Championship from 13th to 15th December 2022 at Vadodara, Gujarat and bagged Gold Medal and selected for National Level Chess Championship to be held at Chandigarh (Punjab) in January 2023.
Graphite School : Science - Telescope Making Workshop
In order to provide hands-on experience in telescope making students of Class 9th participated in a workshop organized by the Regional Science centre, Bhopal on 21st December 2022. They made a telescope under the guidance of the project coordinator. It was a new experience for the students, and they all were motivated towards astronomy and space. Certificates were also distributed to students post-completion of the workshop.
Graphite School: Mathematics - Model making workshop
Students of class IX and X attended the workshop organized by Regional science centre on 22nd December and learned to make model to find approximate value of PI and of Number theory. Vision of attending the workshop was to make students aware that mathematics is very interesting subject and encourage them to study math. Certificates were also distributed to students post completion of the workshop.
Graphite School: NCC Shooting Practice
Total 35 Students participated in shooting practice at fining range in Hamida College, Bhopal organized by 2 MP AIR SQN NCC, Bhopal unit as a part of curriculum on 25th January 2023 and 24 students appeared for “A” certification exam.
Graphite school : Annual Prize Distribution and Cultural Bonanza
On the occasion of 74th Republic day Graphite Higher Secondary School celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution and Cultural Bonanza on the theme of Atulya Sanskriti. The program was graced by Shriyut L. N. Jhunjhunwala. Students performed dance on the theme of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ and showed their invigorating talents. Further students got certificates, medals and trophy for their performance throughout the year.

Giving makes us grateful and the secret to life-long happiness is to give. To inculcate the meaning of giving among students, Graphite Higher Secondary school donated winter wears, clothing, toys, footwear, books etc to the needy people of Rahul Nagar slum area on December 14, 2022. The happy faces of the needy people completed the mission of spreading smile on the faces of others of the Joy of giving drive.
Graphite School: Science Workshop - Space and Beyond
As part of our continued efforts to get young minds interested in Space Science a workshop called ‘Space and beyond ‘was organized. This workshop was conducted by Aryabhatta Foundation at Gurukul Auditorium. Aryabhatta Foundation is dedicated to creating workshops for innovative projects to popularize science among children. The resource person from foundation gave valuable and informative knowledge about space technology and astronomy. Science stream students from classes 9th to 12th attended the workshop to gain practical knowledge about astronomy and enriched their understanding.
Graphite School : Debate Competition
The inter house debate competition for classes IX, X and XI was held on 9th July, 2022. The event was held in the school assembly hall and was graced by Ms. Swati Rahatekar, Principal. The students of class VI to XII were the enthusiastic audience to witness this exciting event. The topic for the day was ‘Increasing Population and Depleting Resources’ for senior section (class IX to XII) and Population is wealth of the Nation for junior section (Class VI to VIII). The teams were well prepared and undoubtedly convinced the audience of their beliefs and views. The participants, armed with statistics and data made their arguments more emphatic with their oratory skills.
Graphite School: Sanskrit Week
Graphite Higher Secondary School celebrated Sanskrit Week based on Theme - Jayatu Sanskrit Jayatu Bharatam on 12th August 2022. The stage was anchored by Soumya Thakur and Tanishq Chauhan. Several cultural programs were presented during the ceremony. It started with Saraswati Vandana invocation in Sanskrit. Splendor performances of dance and song were given by the students in the function. Geeta Shloka Pratiyogita was organized as well. The program was concluded with an empathetic speech by Sanskrit Acharya Praveen Sharma. He congratulated all the students and made the students aware about the role of Sanskrit in Sanskar, Culture, Discipline, Philanthropy, etc. Experiential Learning.
