Mandpam: World Environment Day
World Environment day was celebrated at RSWM, Mandpam, on June 5, 2017, with all the staff members. On this occasion, Shri HM Vashisth (COO) explained the importance of environment day and plantation to the staff members. The programme was organised by Safety Executive, Shri Anil Kumar Bishnoi.
Mandpam: International Yoga Day
3rd International Yoga day was celebrated at RSWM Limited, Mandpam, on June 21, 2017. All the staff members and their family members participated in the event. The trainer from Art of Living explained the techniques and the importance of yoga for a healthy lifestyle and a long life.
Kharigram: Hanuman Jayanti
RSWM Kharigram pariwar celebrated Hanuman Jayant on April 11, 2017, in the colony temple. This event was organised by RSWM Staff Club, Kharigram. Staff and their family members enjoyed the Sundarkand Paath and aarti in the presence of Shri Naresh Maheshwari, Chief Operating Officer. The mood in the staff colony was religious and happy on this occasion.
Kharigram: World Yoga Day
A Yoga Shivir was organised by the RSWM Staff Club, Kharigram, on the occasion of International Yoga Divas, on June 21, 2017, in the Staff Club on mill premises. Shri HL Dhanopia, a certified yog trainer, from Patanjali Yogpeeth explained various "Yogs” for good health in our daily routine. Staff and their family members and Shri Prakash Maheshwari Ji, Executive Director, RSWM Ltd. all enjoyed the Yoga Shivir.
Shri Naresh Sharma, Club President along with Shri Gopal Chhipa, Shri Kailash Dungarwal and the team made all the arrangements for the "Yog Shivir". The shivir concluded with a vote of thanks and distribution of awamla and aloe vera juices.
Ringas: Excursion Tour
On May 7, 2017, Ladies Club of Ringas organised an excursion tour to the Rani Sati Temple, Jhunjhunu and the ancient temple of Sakambari Mata at Udaipurwati (District Sikar). All the members of Ladies Club enjoyed the delicious food in the ‘Bhandara’ of the temple Rani Sati. They worshipped and spent the whole day performing cultural and social activities.
Ringas: Hanuman Jayanti
Like every year the Hanuman Jayanti is also celebrated jointly by workers & staff of Ringas Unit. On 11th April 2017, Pooja was performed by workers with all staff members at Ringas.
In Workers Colony also there was a celebration in the evening. Families of staff members performed Pooja & Aarti in the Colony Temple.
Rishabhdev: New Staff Club Committee
The new Executive Committee for Staff Club for the year 2017-18, RSWM Rishabhdev, was sworn-in, in a function held on April 8, 2017. Members took oath of office and committed themselves to perform with the best of his/her ability for the year 2017-18. Shri K B Khatod, COO, conveyed his best wishes to the new office bearers and praised them for their efforts for keeping the campus vibrant by organising entertainment programmes, month after month, and the full participation of staff and family members in each activity. The programme ended with a scrumptious dinner.
Rishabhdev: Ram Navami celebration
On the auspicious day of Ramnavami, April 5, 2017, RSWM Rishabhdev Staff Club, opened a pyau outside the main gate. This was inaugurated by Shri KB Khatod, Unit’s COO. Club committee members and other staff were present on this occasion. Staff Club organised a progamme – a quiz competition related to the Ramayan for the staff families on this day which everybody enjoyed immensely.
Rishabhdev: Hanuman Jayanti
Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated on April 11, 2017, at Rishabhdev with a Sunderkant Paath, Hauman Mandir. Staff members in large numbers with family attended the Paath which ended with aarti and prasad distribution.
HEG: World Environment Day
June 5, 2017, was celebrated as the World Environment Day, followed by a tree plantation drive by Shri Raju Rustogi, COO and CFO. 20 trees were planted near RKDF, Gate no 8.
ADHPL: World Environment Day
World Environment Day, 2017, was celebrated in ADHPL on June 5, 2017. The theme was “Connecting People to Nature”. The message on the occassion of WED was read out by Shri S K Chehal, VP (O&M) to all employees and workers present.
On this day the VP (O&M) and other staff planted 50 cedar (deodar) trees near TRT and 40 t-shirts with the logo of National Safety Council and “Connect People to Nature”, were distributed.
Maral Sarovar: Ram Navami Celebrations
Ram Navmi, a grand festival commemorating the birth of Lord Shri Ram was celebrated with great joy and devotional fervour on April 5, 2017 at Shri Ram Mandir, Maral Sarovar. On this occasion, a hawan was performed at the hands of Smt and Shri Suresh Maheshwari and senior officers. This was attended by a large number of devotees. Special pooja was held midday followed by the distribution of maha prasadi and kanyabhoj. After the evening aarti, distribution of chhappan bhog prasadi also took place.
BIL: Bilians Day
In May, all BIL Bengaluru employees celebrated Bilians Day. On this special day, the Bilians club arranged several competitions such as quiz, saree draping contest, lemon and spoon race, nut stacker, etc. Employees dressed up in colourful attire for this fun day at work. These activities created a sense of belongingness and contributed towards higher engagement within the team.
BIL: Potluck
In June 2017, the Bilians club organised potluck. Each team brought a full course meal that included appetizers, main course and a dessert. It was an amazing opportunity for all employees to show their skills outside their work domain.
Graphite School: International Yoga Day Celebrations
It is not possible to live a disease free and happy life without practicing yoga. This can bring about a positive change in behaviour and awaken internal awareness and strength at any age.
3rd International Yoga Day was celebrated in Graphite School, on June 21, 2017. Students were informed about tremendous contribution of yogic science in its capacity to inculcate balance in both physical and psychological power. General exercises, pranayam and yoga asanas were conducted and students had a wonderful experience of learning and understanding yoga.
Around 160 students from 38 schools participated in the yoga programme organised by the local governance body (Nagar Palika Parishad). Shri Badriprasad Chouhan, President, Nagar Palika, Mandideep and many eminent personalities attended the programme and took part in the yoga session. The message of good living through yoga was conveyed to all.
The programme concluded with the pledge by the students and all the people present on the occasion to include yoga in their life, adopt a swadeshi way of life and pave way for a better and healthy life in future thereby making their country healthy and prosperous.
VVV, Maral Sarovar: International Yoga Day
June 21, 2017, keeping in view the growing popularity of yoga globally, VVV, Maral Sarovar, celebrated International Yoga Day. The students, teachers and other staff members participated in yoga related activities and discussed the importance of practicing yoga everyday to ensure a healthy and stress-free lifestyle.
