VKV Rishabhdev: Lok Adalat Awareness Campaign

A campaign for spreading awareness amongst the people about Lok Adalat was scheduled on 12th March, 2022 amongst people and it was organised by Legal Literacy Club of VKV Rishabhdev on 23rd February, 2022. In this campaign, students of VKV School took part in a rally. The purpose of this awareness campaign was to provide free & competent legal help to the weaker sections of the society.

VKV Rishabhdev: Vaccination Camp

A Vaccination Camp of the eligible students in the age group of 15 to 18 years was completed at VKV Rishabhdev School on 4th January, 2022. In this camp, the first dose of covaxin was given under the supervision of Mr. Vinod Meena, Ms. Hetal Paneri, Ms. Deepika Hira from CHC Rishabhdev and Ms.Sunita Patel from dispensary of RSWM Ltd. Rishabhdev.

VKV Rishabhdev: Vivekananda Jayanti

Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated with joy on 12th January, 2022 at VKV Rishabhdev. The students presented poetry, music, dance and speeches related to the life of Swami Vivekananda. Students took part in a procession with placards in their hands. Mr K.B. Khatod, COO described Swami Vivekananda as an ideal, source of inspiration and dynamic speaker of the youth. He also narrated various incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda Ji and called upon everyone to take inspiration from his life journey.

VKV Rishabhdev: Career Counseling

Career Counseling and Guidance Program was organized at VKV Rishabhdev on 2nd March, 2022 for the students of classes 9th to 12th. In this program Students of Vivekananda Model School Kherwada and Vikas Public School Kherwara participated.

CA Rahul Badala addressed the students about opportunities in the commerce sector and the tricks of success. Motivational Speaker Mr. Yashdev Singh also gave success mantra to students. After the program, the students visited the RSWM LTD and learned and understood the process of making thread.

VKV Rishabhdev: Testing Camp for Rashtrapati Award

 

 

Guides of the VKV Rishabhdev participated in Testing Camp for President Award under guidance of guider Ms. Indu Bala Rawal.  This Camp was held at Bharat Scout and Guide office, Bani Park, Jaipur from 11th to 15th March, 2022. Nishi Jain, Jheel Jain, Dhruvi Jain, Moli Jain, Nitya Jain, Aanchal Bohra, Himadri Joshi participated in this camp. Teacher Ms. Chetna Lohar also helped the students in this camp.

VKV Rishabhdev: Mast Dhruvin Jain Bagged 7th Rank in Rajasthan U-12 Chess Tournament

Master Dhruvin Jain, student of VKV Rishabhdev School achieved 7th rank and a cash prize during Rajasthan State (Under 12 - boys & girls) chess championship 2022 organised by Jodhpur district Chess Association on 30th & 31st March 2022 at Jodhpur. In total 50 students from various schools participated in this chess tournament. Everyone congratulated him on this remarkable achievement.

 

VVV Maral: Vaccination Drive

The district administration set up a vaccination drive at VVV Maral School for the students between the age group of 15-18 years. A team of doctors along with the paramedical staff from DMO office were there to administer Covaxin to the children. The inoculation programme was conducted to ensure that the school students avail the shots without requiring to travel to any other health camp. 

The vaccination of the children was conducted in a flawless manner keeping all the covid protocols. The students had given specific time slots hence no crowding was witnessed. After taking vaccination, school had made arrangements for students to be given biscuit packets. In order to keep a track of students’ vaccination status, the School management also urged parents to submit their children’s vaccination certificates as soon as the immunisation completed.

VVV Maral: Republic Day Celebration

The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated on January 26 following the COVID-19 safety rules. On this day, "Kala Kalam Sangam" was organized at Vivekananda Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar with a flag hoisting function. The confluence of art with the pen as the new form of teaching, was showcased through the activities. 

The two main attractions of the program were "Puppet Theatre" and "Spiritual to Science Confluence". The program ended with an inspiring speech by the chief guest of the program Mr. Satyanarayan Goyal, President, Maral Overseas Limited.

VVV Maral: Narmada Jayanti

On Monday, February 7, 2022, Narmada Jayanti was celebrated with full fervour and enthusiasm at VVV, Maral Sarovar School .On this occasion, The students of class Vth did an online presentation of the orchestra on Narmada Ashtak. It was really a great show put up by students virtually.

VVV Maral: Farewell of Batch 2021

The junior students of VVV Maral Sarovar School had a farewell meeting on National Youth Day. It is the students' second home, and they are the school's heartbeat. The farewell ceremony was attended by all students in class XII. The pupils in class XI, in particular, organised the entire programme with great zeal.

The pupils in class XII conveyed their appreciation for their favourite instructors. The ceremony came to a close with a heartfelt speech from the principal, who wished the children success in all aspects of their lives. With the remarks, the school officials (management, principal, school coordinator, and teachers) wished them a great future.

VVV Maral: Annual PTM

“Holistic development of a child depends upon the hard work and involvement of student, parent and teacher. These three stake holders’ integrated efforts, give the best learning outcomes.” VVV, Maral Sarovar School conducted the Annual Parent Teacher meeting for the result declaration of Annual Examination 2021-22 for Grades Nursery to XII on Monday 21st March, 2022. Parents met the concerned educators to get clarity on the performance of their wards. This meeting was a huge success and the parents appreciated the efforts of the school and expressed satisfaction over their children’s performance. 

A slide show of academic, sports and cultural events held in Vivekanand Vidya Vihar was presented in all the respective classes. This was followed by a very cordial interactive session between the teachers and parents regarding their ward's overall performance. The parents gave a very positive feedback regarding the activities and facilities provided by the school.

VKV Hurda: Ms. Yashika Choudhary Secured AIR–16 in the UPSC Examination 2021

Yashika Choudhary (Class XII – 2014 Batch), Alumni of VKV Hurda secured AIR – 16 in the UPSC Examination 2021. She completed her bachelor’s degree (Honors) in Electronics and Communications from SKIT, Jaipur in 2018. Yashika visited the VKV Hurda School on April 4, 2022 and shared her success journey with students and teachers, how VKV has helped in chasing her goals and shaping the future.

The School management and students wished her a bright career ahead.

VKV Hurda: Ms Aaradhya Secured 2nd Position in Rajasthan Chess Tournament

Ms Aaradhya Upadhyay, student of class III of VKV School bagged second position at Rajasthan State Chess Championship 2022 (Under 10) at Aburoad, Distt.- Sirohi, Rajasthan. She got 4 out of 5 points in the championship. Our School principal and the management congratulated her on this big feat.

VKV Hurda: Classical Dance Programme

With the aim of paying homage to Padma Vibhushan Shri Pt. Birju Maharah ji, the great Kathak dancer, a classical dance programme was organized by the students of classes VI to IX on February 7, 2022. The vivacious students presented their energetic performances.

The choreography, rhythm, synchronization and presentation of the students was spectacular as performers dressed beautifully according to their dance songs. Youngsters were thrilled to be a part of the vibrant and energizing event and presented varieties of dances on the important incidents of lord Krishna and lord Rama’s lives, as Kathak is a dance form of storytelling.

Principal of the school, Mrs. Asha Goyal, appreciated the performances of the children and also encouraged them to participate more in such programmes to enhance and showcase their talent. 

VKV Hurda: Fit India Quiz

The students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Vinamra Sancheti and Kunal Bhagwan of class IX have again proved themselves by bagging First position in the semi-finals and Second position in the final round of the Fit India Quiz, which was organised by the Government of India on March 12, 2022.

To recognise the talent of the students and achievement of the school, a reward of Rs. 10000 was given to the young talents and Rs. 1 Lakh to the school by the organisers of Fit India Movement. The efforts of the School Management were appreciated by the organisers.

The school Principal, Mrs Asha Goyal blessed the students and wished them a bright future. She also encouraged the other students to take part in these kind of movements. 

VKV Hurda: Dr. Kiran Seth's School Visit

Padamshri Dr. Kiran Seth, Academician, Emeritus professor IIT Delhi, founder of SPIC Macay, visited VKV Hurda School on March 28, 2022 during his three months bicycle expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to celebrate the glorious composite heritage of India.

He was warmly welcomed by Sri Naresh Bahedia (COO) RSWM, Kharigram, Sri Pawan Gupta, Legal Advisor RSWM, Kharigram and Smt. Asha Goyal, Principal VKV Hurda.

Dr. Seth addressed and motivated the students about the intricacies of classical music, Yoga and cultural heritage of our country. He also shared his intentions to start this expedition to spread awareness about different aspects of Indian heritage through music, art and inspiring the youth to initiate the values embedded in it. Dr. Seth visited all the departments, interacted with the VKV students, and appreciated the school orchestra, Mantra recital and other activities performed by the students.

Graphite School: Winter Trekking at Dalhousie

An adventure camp always offers a welcoming, lively, positive, safe and diverse environment where children gain confidence and build self-esteem. Students of Graphite Higher Secondary School, Mandideep, were provided with one such exposure during these winter holidays. They got a golden chance to attend an Adventure Camp at Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh from 29/12/2021 to 05/01/2022. The group of our school consisted of 22 students, accompanied and guided by our faculty members Mr Nirmal Yadav, Ms Soma Panda and Ms Ankita Banerjee. Students of our school took part in the challenging and exciting trekking of beautiful Dalhousie.

They went to Dalhousie by train and reached there on 30/12/2021. On 31/12/2021 they were trained and guided about the trekking. On 1/01/22 they started their most adventurous trekking journey from the main base camp of Dalhousie to Kalatop, Kalatop to Khajjiar (the mini-Switzerland), Khajjiar to Chamba and back to Dalhousie from Chamba by bus.

This trekking helped to strengthen the teamwork and personal accomplishment of the students. The students were full of zeal and enthusiasm during the camp. They witnessed the beautiful snowfall and also saw many species of plants. They energetically completed the trekking and no task was left undone. Overall, the camp was indeed well spent and campers added memories to cherish throughout their life.

Graphite School: Plantation Drive

Students of the Peace club and Eco-club of Graphite School participated with great Zeal and Enthusiasm in the celebration of EBSB, PLANTATION DRIVE. The school planted saplings of rose, basil, neem & mango etc. and tagged their names in the language of pairing states.

The staff and students of the 9th and 10th classes planted saplings in the garden of the school to raise awareness and consciousness about the environment among the masses. Tree plantation is not just something that should be done; instead, it is a necessity, the urgent need of the hour. Planting trees is especially important to protect our environment against air pollution and global warming. The drive was a huge success, empowering students with substantial knowledge of the environment and plants.

Graphite School: Tricolour Kite Making Competition

A tricolour Kite making competition was organised in January 2022 by the primary Wing of Graphite school on the occasion of Republic Day and Makar Sankranti celebration. The Students of Classes 1st to 5th participated in the competition with full zeal and fervour. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their creativity manifested in the form of beautiful vibrant kites made by them. Evidently, the imagination of the students took a new flight as one could see kites of various hues and shapes adorning the sky.

Graphite School: Learning Indigenous Games

The Graphite Higher Secondary School, Mandideep organized a sports learning day to learn indigenous sports "KANCHHA". The objective of the activity is to learn and appreciate indigenous games of pairing state Manipur and develop students’ interest in culture. It also helps them to learn how participation in games involving a large number can be done in a disciplined manner.

The Learning Outcomes of this activity were in the form of the development of physical and mental abilities. It develops cooperation and respect for rules among students. And, the most important was Urban youth was connected to the indigenous culture of the country. Overall, through this activity, team spirit was imbibed by the students.

Graphite School: Jal Mahatva

The water scarcity today has become a big issue which is not dealt with in time, will turn out to be a hazard. The webinar was conducted to spread awareness about watersheds and water bodies under JAL SHAKTI ABHIYAN of CBSE on 31st January 2022 by the teachers of Graphite school. The main aim of this webinar was to remind us all about the need to save water. Students of Graphite School of classes 3rd to 6th attended the webinar and were asked to conserve every drop of water and not waste it unnecessarily. Besides, rainwater harvesting and traditional methods of water conservation were also explained to the students.
