HO: Annual Tour to Jodhpur - Jaisalmer via Pokhran
LNJ Bhilwara Group believes in a positive and energetic work environment. An annual trip is organised every year for the employees to rejuvenate and destress. In 2018, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer via Pokhran were the chosen tourist destinations which was scheduled between September 28 - October 3, 2018.
The trip started with a train journey from Delhi to Jodhpur on September 28, 2018 evening. The buses were waiting at the Jodhpur station the following morning to take the staff to the hotel. Jodhpur, the second largest city in Rajasthan has a fascinating past. It is famous for its blue buildings, which were originally painted to signify that they were occupied by brahmins. Jodhpur is extremely rich in cultural and heritage sites. Everyone spent the day visiting famous forts, palaces, museums and beautiful lakes. An unforgettable experience for one and all.
The third day i.e. September 30, 2018, commenced with some sports activities and swimming early in the morning. After breakfast, the team boarded the buses for Jaisalmer city via Pokhran. Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading centre and a princely state, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Also known as the "Golden City”, it's distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. The city has some ancient buildings dating 12th to 15th century. There are numerous places to visit in Jaisalmer like Jaisalmer Fort, Patwonki Haveli, Gadsisar Sagar Lake, Tazia Tower, Sam Sand Dunes, Jain temples etc. In the evening, Sum/Khuri for camel ride and Rajasthani traditional dinner at Dunes with dance and music which was absolutely astonishing.
Early morning, October 1, 2018, the group started the day with yoga/meditation and a morning walk. After the breakfast, the team left for Kuldhara village via Kanoi village and visited other famous tourist destinations and local bazaars in Jaisalmer. The perfect and a beautiful day ended with a delicious and traditional dinner served at the hotel.
War Museum on the October 2, 2018, concluded the trip and the buses with tired but satisfied troupe left for Jodhpur city from where the train had to depart for Delhi in the evening. The train reached Delhi early morning on October 3, 2018. Everyone was happy and send a prayer of thanks to the almighty for a safe and a successful trip.
