HEG: Replacement of Circular Saw with Band Saw in Chinese Nipple Chain

The replacement was done in PFS department to increase the productivity and minimizing the cost. The NNC Circular Saw is replaced with Band Saw and the event was inaugurated by Res. ED - Mr. Manish Gulati. The advantages are as follows:

• Cutting loss reduced from 11 mm/cut to 03 mm/cut
• Saving of ~2.5% length in nipples <=257 mm
• Saving ~ 30 MT Nipple/Year ~ 130 Lac

LNJ Denim & Fabric: State Safety Award 2021

LNJ Denim & Fabric division units won the State Safety Award 2021 prize form the prestigious Rajasthan Factory Safety Award Scheme, 2021. It was related to efforts to promote high standards of competence & compliance of Occupational Health, Safety & Welfare provision under Factory Act,1948 and rules made thereunder. Our By. Head, Shri Suketu Shah appreciated the team efforts and he emphasized on the importance of safety in the plant.

Kharigram: State Safety Award 2021

It is matter of immense pleasure that Kharigram unit has been accredited with "STATE SAFETY AWARD - 2021”. The unit scored more than 80% marks, vide letter dated 15^th April, 2021, the office of Chief Inspector Factories & Boilers, Rajasthan in terms of promoting high standards of competence and compliance in the area of OHS and welfare.

Mr. N.K. Bahedia, COO congratulated to all the team members and Mr Dileep Chourasia, Manager-Safety who has been instrumental to make it happen with proactive cooperation and response to safety concerns throughout the year.

Ringas: Rajasthan Safety Award 2021

RSWM, Ringas unit has been accredited with "STATE SAFETY AWARD - 2021" by The office of Chief Inspector factories and boilers, Rajasthan for the efforts to promote high standards of competence and compliance of occupational Health, Safety and Welfare provision under Factories Act,1948.

Lodha: State Safety Award 2021

RSWM, Lodha unit has been awarded with "STATE SAFETY AWARD-2021" by the Chief Inspector, Factories & Boilers, Government of Rajasthan on 15^th April, 2021 for achieving more than 80% score on compliance of safety norms of National Safety Council. We congratulate our safety team and entire Lodha unit for their joint efforts.

Rishabhdev: State Safety Award 2021

Rishabhdev Unit has awarded with "STATE SAFETY AWARD-2021". The office of Chief Inspector factories and boilers, Rajasthan, Jaipur has informed vide their letter dated 15^th April, 2021 that our unit has got more than 80% marks for complying the Safety Standards.

Team Rishabhdev deserves compliments for their effort in maintaining safety standards as per the norms of the National Safety Council and Rajasthan Factories Act.  Congratulations to one and all on this achievement.

TPP: Fly Ash Utilisation Award

RSWM, Thermal Power Plant conferred as the winner under Category "Efficient Management of Fly Ash Captive Power Plant (Northern Region)” in 2021 Mission Energy Foundation's Fly Ash Utilisation Awards held from 9^th to 10^th April, 2021 at Goa. It was a big achievement for RSWM family and everyone congratulated each other after receiving this award.

BSL: I-WAY Compliance Audit by IKEA

The unannounced annual I-WAY audit of IKEA has been conducted on virtual mode from 21^st to 22^nd June, 2021 to verify their IWAY compliance in determining conformity of the management system and its ability to ensure applicable statutory, regulatory & contractual requirements are met with effectiveness to ensure that the client reasonably expect in achieving specified objectives and to identify as applicable areas for potential improvement. In all this, they scored us 100% in both the plants (Weaving Unit-II & Processing Division, Unit-II) and confirmed that there are no I-MUST’s & NO-GO’s.

Shri Pradeep Tiwari (General Manager-QA/QC) and his team have got all the relevant documents verified/shown by IKEA auditors.

The Management heartily appreciated and says that this is again a quite commendable. They also congratulated to entire IKEA compliance team for their efforts & results.

BSL: Safety Appreciation Award by the Rajasthan Govt.

Under the Rajasthan State Safety Award, 2021, BSL Limited awarded with Appreciation Letter by the Factories and Boilers Department, Government of Rajasthan to BSL Limited (Spinning Division) for its endeavour to promote competence and compliance with high standards of occupational health, safety and welfare provisions under the Factories Act, 1948 and the rules made there under. This awards was given on the occasion of 50^th National Safety Day, 2021 on 4^th March, in the state level virtual function organized by the Factory and Boiler Department (Government of Rajasthan) at Jaipur.

The President, Shri Praveen Jain congratulated to all team members and said that we have always been giving priority to the health and safety of our employees and workers as well as environmental protection, under which we have been making important provisions of the Factories Act from time to time. We organize various types of safety training and awareness programs for compliance with the provisions, such as specific types of health & safety training, information about emergency preparedness & response plans, inspection of work areas & action plans for redressal of unsafe situations found and timely inspection of health, safety and fire fighting systems etc.

ADHPL: Achievers

Mr. Arun Sharma student of IIM, Calcutta, has completed his MBA from IIM Calcutta with flying colours. He had a pivotal role in many projects taken up by the institute and he has won laurels for his institute during the schooling carrier. Mr. Arun Sharma also won the 'Best Teams' award, for solving real-life business challenges of corporates at an international academic competition “The Global X-Culture Competition”. He has always made ADHPL family proud and we congratulate Mr. Arun Sharma and his parents in these happy moments and wish him all the best in future endeavours.

Miss Anjali Thakur D/o Sh. Dev Prakash (Tech. Supervisor, AC Power Maint. Deptt.), of DAV Public School Manali participated in the online slogan writing competition organised by H.P. Council for Science, Technology and Environment (HIMCOSTE) Shimla on the occasion of Earth Day 22^nd April, 2021. The results of the event was organised by HIMCOSTE and were declared on June 9^th, 2021 in which Miss Anjali Thakur stood first in senior category at state level. She is a brilliant child at school level also. At this delightful moment the ADHPL family wishes her all the best in her future endeavours.
