HO: Fire Fighting & Drill Session
A firefighting training program was organized on 18th February 2022 at our Corporate Office, Noida with a motive to provide proper training to our employees on fire fighting with the support of Professional Trainers from Momentum India, Noida.
The fire drill session comprises of different topics like- Firefighting, Evacuation Plan, Emergency Exit, Assemble Method, etc. The trainers educated all the personnel to follow all safety rules and explained how to respond to different emergencies.
Kharigram: Training on Group Mediclaim Policy
On the 8th of January'22, the HR department conducted an awareness session on the topic "Group Mediclaim Policy." During the session, Sh Deepak Kumar Ojha-HR explained various mediclaim process steps such as TPA, Process Flow, Coverage, Eligibility, Use of mobile application, Online claim process, and so on. Through this programme, all of the participants gained valuable knowledge.
Kharigram: Training on Safety Practices at Workplace
A Safety awareness programme was conducted on 08-02-2022, which was presented by Sh Dileep Chourasia, Safety Manager. Engineering, Maintenance, Security, Commercial and Production departments were covered in this programme. The topics covered were - Fire Fighting, Evacuation Plan, Emergency Exit, Assemble method etc. He educated to all personnel to follow safety rules and how to respond upon different emergency situations.
Kharigram: Awareness Session on Revised HR Policy
To update about revisions in HR manual about employee benefits, an awareness programme was conducted by HR department on 22nd February 2022. During this program, all aspects of Employee Benefits were covered. Total 38 staff members got benefited from this programme and they encouraged to organise such awareness sessions periodically.
Kharigram: External Training on Electrical Safety & Emergency Preparedness
An external training programme on Electrical Safety & Emergency Preparedness was organised on 7th March, 2022 which was presented by Sh Anurodh Prashant (External Safety Expert and Auditor). Staff of various departments like Engineering, Maintenance, Security and Production departments were covered in this programme. During the session, the topics covered were - Fire Fighting, Safety at Work Place, Tools Handling, response during emergency etc.
Ringas RPSF: Fire Drill Sessions
To spread awareness among staff and workers, three fire drills on Dry Drill and Wet Drill were held on the 25th of January 2022, 25th of February 2022, and the 25th of March 2022. This drill was led by Shri Deepak Verma, Safety Officer for the RPSF division, who explained the process of safety in emergency situations.

An awareness training session on First Aid was imparted by Nursing Staff to our employees on the 31st of January 2022 at unit C-126 in order to fulfil the customers audit requiring parameters/standards and educate our employees on the floor about the basic First Aid.

To fulfil the legal & customers audit requiring parameter/standards at our unit and provide an open platform to employees to raise theirs daily grievance for solution, a committee meeting has been conducted on “Works Committee’’ on 21st February, 2022 at unit C-126.
Maral, Noida: Grievance Redressal Committee Meeting
A committee meeting on "Grievance Committee" was held on February 22, 2022 at unit C-126 and D-347 to meet the legal and customer auditing requirements at our units and to give an open platform for employees to raise their daily grievances for resolution.
Maral, Noida: Internal Committee Meeting
To create and provide a safe and healthy work environment for female employees at our factory premises, a committee meeting on "Internal Committee" was held on 14th February, 2022 at unit C-126 & D-347 in the presence of external Advocate (Mrs.) Jyoti Sinha.
Maral, Noida: Fire Safety Training
To create a Safe & Healthy Work Environment at work floor, an awareness training session has been imparted by an external agency - M/s Momentum India to our employees on Fire & Safety emergency and preparedness on 28th February 2022 at unit A-11 and C-126, Noida.
Maral, Noida: Mock Drill Training
On the 31st of January, 2022, a mock drill was conducted by a third party to test the emergency response plan's preparedness & planning, reactions, and efficacy. A conference with HODs / Section In-Charges was held prior to the execution to discuss the roles and responsibilities during the earthquake. At unit D-347, the drill went off without a hitch.
Rishabhdev: Fire & Safety Audit
On the 27th and 28th of January, 2022, a two-person team from M/s. Anurodh Prashant & Associates, Udaipur conducted a fire and safety assessment at Rishabhdev. The audit's main objective was to look at the plant's and facility's fire prevention and control measures, identify potential hazards, and advise corrective steps where necessary. On the 28th of January, the two-day audit comes to an end with a closing meeting attended by Shri K B Khatod, COO, and Shri Anil Dalawat, G.M (Engg). The observations and recommendations were thoroughly discussed, and it was proposed that corrective steps be taken in response to the recommendations.
MPCL: Mock Drill on Flash Flood
On March 25, 2022, MPCL management conducted a Tier-1 mock drill on flash flood in the power house to test emergency preparedness planning, rescue team responses, and the effectiveness of the existing training system. The planned scenario, including a rough timeline, was discussed with all the HODs and communicated to all involved parties.
MPCL: Training on “6S” by External Agency
On March 21, 2022, Malana Power Company held a one-day specialised training on "6S," which will undoubtedly aid in the acquisition of the skills and knowledge required to anticipate, recognise, evaluate, and control risk factors in a wide range of workplace settings. The training content focuses on the most common injuries caused by poor housekeeping and how to mitigate the problem, using the science of "6S" to make us safer. An external agency, "Northstar Safety Systemz Pvt. Ltd," from Chandigarh, provided this training.
HEG: Insider Trading Session
Insider Trading is Prohibited in our organization. It promotes unfair trading and creates anti competitive behavior in the market. So in order to develop healthy trade environment and prevent the company’s confidential information, the training of insider trading is given to the employees and the people who are associated to the company’s private information. This training was given by Mr. Shamit Tiwari on 5th January 2022 and all the points regarding insider trading were made clear to the attendees present during the session.
HEG: Communication Session on Safety
The session took place on 29th January 2022 at HEG Premises. Executive Director, Shri Manish Gulati interacted with the workers and staff in the presence of HOD's regarding safety guidelines at work place. During the session, everyone was asked to raise the questions or doubts related with safety parameters at workplace. Main message was given by Shri Manish Gulati that we have to be very cautious about the safety parameters and company is committed towards the safety of each individual at the workplace. The session was very interactive and informative.
HEG: Induction Meeting For New Joinees
Briefing cum Interaction session was organized at Gurukul. HOD Maintenance, Mr. Atul Moghe along with other team members interacted with the new joinees / interns. The main motive was to share information regarding 20k project and how to build a team. Responsibilities were allotted to concern persons for smooth functioning. Sessions like this shows growth path to the new comers & uplift their morale to work effectively.
HEG: Training On Crane Safety by M/s Yaskawa
Regarding the topic of hands-on training / presentations on Yaskawa VFDs (general purpose, crane specialised, and regenerative), M/s Yaskawa, a reputable VFD manufacturer, offers on-site training on 21st February 2022 to all new joiners from the Electrical, Mechanical, and ITI trades. This discussion also included crane safety. Mr. Himanshu Soni, Mr. Ajitesh Jha, and Mr. Mohit Agrawal from M/S Yaskawa provided the training and presentation.
HEG: Crane Safety Training
M/s Baluapuri conducted a Crane Safety training course on 3rd & 5th March 2022, with the objective of preventing accidents while operating on a crane. This training was provided to employees who work with cranes in any manner. The training will assist the workers in mitigating damage. This session drew a total of 73 workers.
HEG: Industrial Safety Training
An industrial safety is the crucial system for working in any factory or a plant where there is a risk. These are used to protect human’s, industrial plant and the environment in case of the process going beyond the allowed control margins. Total 100 participants attended this training held on 7th March 2022 and the trainer was Shri A.P. Singh.
HEG: POSH Training
Every employer is required by POSH law to provide a safe working environment for women. This law was enacted to protect women from sexual harassment in the workplace. HEG has formed a committee to oversee the implementation of this Act, and the company has created a safe working environment for all female employees. Mr. Shamit Tiwari conducted the training on March 9, 2022, to raise employee awareness of the law.
HEG: OPTIME Training
It was the "Online Condition Monitoring System- OPTIME" Technical Seminar conducted on 21st March 2022 for predictive maintenance of rotating equipment's. It will be useful for condition-based monitoring on a regular basis. The training was completed on time, and the purpose of the training was to inform employees about rotating equipment's maintenance. Mr. Chandan Kumar of Schaeffler India Ltd. was the trainer (External Trainer).
ADHPL: Tire-II Mock Drill in Power House
A Tier–II emergency mock drill was conducted on 22.02.222 where all the departments participated actively. The Civil Fire-fighting department, Manali also sent its team for participation in the mock drill and the local administration, Panchayats and downstream power houses also took part in the mock drill. The aim of this drill was to test the emergency preparedness & response planning, effectiveness of existing communication system and fire-fighting skills of rescue team of ADHPL. It was also aimed to test the communication and coordination with local bodies while dealing with such emergency situations.
Scenario of the mock drill was fire with smoke in Power House cavern, where in one technician got trapped and fell unconscious. Various departments of ADHPL along with Civil fire-fighting team, Manali carried out the rescue operations during the mock drill.
ADHPL: Employees Participated in 6S Training
Six employees of ADHPL and Transmission Line participated in specialised 6S training, organized by MPCL on March 21, 2022. The training was imparted by an external agency at MPCL Jari. The training mainly concentrated on the skills and upgraded knowledge needed to anticipate and evaluate risk factors at workplace and the mitigation measures based on the science of “6S” safety standards to make the workplace safer. The training was advantageous for ADHPL employees.
ADHPL: Internal Audit of IMS
The 1st internal audit of IMS (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) for certification year 2021-22 was conducted successfully from 24 to 26 Feb., 2022. The clause wise internal audit of integrated management system was carried out by the trained internal auditors from different departments as per the given schedule and time.
LNJ Denim: Training on Fire & Safety
A training session was conducted on Fire & Safety on 29th January, 2022. The two hour training program was provided to staff and security guards. Demonstration was done on how and when to use required equipments with all the possible safety measures. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the use of firefighting equipment’s at the time of fire. The training was given by Shri Devanand Shah - Safety Officer.
LNJ Denim: ISO 45001:2018 Training
A training session on ISO 45001:2018 was conducted on 22nd February, 2022. The 2 hours training program was provided to the employees. The training was given by Shri Devanand Shah - Safety Officer. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the new ISO 45001:2018’s requirement in the plant & how it is working in plant after implementation.
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance. Total 25 staff members had attended the session.
LNJ Denim: Training on ESI Benefits
A training session on ESI’s benefits was conducted on 10th March, 2022. It was given by Shri Arbind Mishra – Head (HR&IR) in which ESI beneficiaries attended the training. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the ESI system & its benefits like- Medical Benefit, Sickness Benefit, Maternity Benefit from ESI for all the employees & his/her family members. It was a good interactive session on ESI’s benefit & very well understood by participants.
LNJ Denim: Remote Re-Certification Audit
On the 23rd and 24th of March, 2022, LNJ Denim underwent a Remote Re-certification audit. For two days, Shri Susheel Sharma and his team from BSI audited the entire unit's systems and processes, giving Minor NCs that were quickly addressed. The audit was carried out successfully thanks to the support of the HODs and their teams.
LNJ Denim: Inditex Social Audit
On March 31, 2022, the LNJ Denim Unit underwent an Inditex Social Audit. For two days, Shri Brahmanand Verma of BSI audited the entire unit's systems and processes. There were a few minor NCs and a few suggestions/observations, but no major NCs were identified. The audit was successfully conducted thanks to the support of the HODs and their individual teams.
Mandpam: Amazon Social Audit
Mr. Kamal Kumar Singh, a Bureau Veritas auditor, conducted an Amazon Social audit at the Mandpam unit on February 25, 2022. Mr. Sulabh Shinghal and Mr. Pankaj Khandelwal effectively coordinated this audit, which was supported by all staff members.
Mandpam: Bank Consortium Meeting
On the 23rd of February 2022, the Bank Consortium Meeting was conducted at the Mandpam unit. Following the meeting, all of the bankers who attended took a tour of our Mandpam plant and were quite satisfied with the overall setup.
Mandpam: Fire Fighting & Use of Fire Hydrant Training
A training programme on Fire Safety & use of Fire Hydrant System was organized at Mandpam unit on 19th March 2022. The main objective was to create awareness for use of fire hydrant systems at the time of fire. Mr. Anil Bishnoi (Executive - Fire & Safety) was the faculty for this training programme.
