ADHPL and MPCL : Training on work at Height

From 21st to 25th March 2023, a trainer from  M/s Force Tech Security (India Pvt. Ltd) conducted a training program on work at height for ADHPL and MPCL employees in which basic awareness training was imparted to all at Sundernagar.

ADHPL and MPCL : Training on Cyber Security

Two weeks mandatory basic level training & certification program on “Cyber Security” was conducted by NPTI, Faridabad from 27 February 2023 to 10 March 2023. A total of 6 employees from ADHPL & 3 employees from MPCL, attended and successfully completed this mandatory training. The program was held using an online medium.

MPCL : Mock Drill on flash flood

On 22nd March 2023, Malana Power Company Ltd successfully conducted a mock drill (tier-1) trailing session on flooding conditions due to heavy leakage on the MIV floor from the bypass valve (Hydropower plant powerhouse). This session included activities like checking the emergency preparedness planning, responses, and effectiveness of the emergency response plan.

MPCL : Certification audit of ISMS

MPCL received the prestigious ISO 27001:2013 certificate. The certification reiterates the commitment of MPCL towards information security by systematically managing IT Security Risks. The Certification audit of ISMS (Information Security Management System) was completed successfully on 19^th & 20th January 2023 by the certifying agency TUV SUD South Asia Pvt Ltd.

RSWM Lodha : TGT Training Program

A TGT training program was organized by the CHRO office to provide or develop new inductees /TGT towards the business goals and career development.

Under this program, a two-day session on 20^th Jan 23 and 21^st Jan 23 was held at Banswara Lodha. The training program was conducted by Dr. Sourabh Sethi. On the first day of the opening ceremony of the session, our CHRO Shri Manoj Sharma ji and Shri Yogesh Dutt Tiwari (Chief Operating Officer) were also present and both addressed all TGT to focus and adopt strategies to develop themself in this competitive time.

All TGTs appreciated the arrangement of the program, Orchard, and hospitality of RSWM Lodha.  

RSWM Lodha : Training program on Fire & Safety

RSWM Lodha conducted a training session on Fire & Safety on 18^th March 2023. The Two hours training program in 3 batches covered all staff members and the security team. A demonstration was done on how and when to use the required equipment with all the possible safety measures.

The main objective of the training was to create awareness of the use of firefighting equipment. The training was given by the safety Department Shri Bhanwar Singh Bhati (Dy. Manager–Safety).

RSWM RPFS : Fire Drill Session

RSWM RPFS organized a Fire drill session on the respective dates 25th January, 25th February, and 25th March 2023. This session was conducted to spread awareness on the usage of Dry dill and Wet Drills among staff and workmen

Drills had been conducted under the supervision of the Safety Officer, During the session, several fire safety activities were performed and the process of mitigating emergency situations was explained.

HEG: Session on Leadership

On 7th and 16th February 2023 HEG organized an external training session for employee development and engagement on Leadership. This was a session on quality which refers to a person's ability to inspire others to follow the functions determined by the leader. To enhance and strengthen the interpersonal skills of its employees.

The session was delivered by Mr. GB Bhalerao, a well-known industrial trainer who shared his life lessons and motivated the employees to a great extent. The training was conducted at Gurukul Training Centre, and a significant number of employees from across the plant attended and actively participated in the session.

HEG: ESIC Training Session

Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) conducted a training session at HEG on 7th March 2023. The Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is a statutory social security body under the ownership of the Ministry of Labour and the Welfare Department.

To educate employees about the benefits and perks offered by ESIC, this session was conducted with the participation of guests from the ESIC department, who delivered precise information about the schemes. The Head of HR addressed the program, and it proved to be a useful and necessary session for the employees.

RSWM Kharigram : Training on Group Mediclaim Policy

An awareness session on the “Group Mediclaim Policy was conducted by the HR department of  RSWM Kharigram on 19th January 2023.

Sh Deepak Kumar Ojha of the HR explained various process steps of the mediclaim process like TPA, Process Flow, Coverage, eligibility, use of the mobile application, online claim process, etc in this program. All participants acquired good knowledge through this program

RSWM Kharigram : Training on Safety Practices at Workplace

A Safety awareness program was conducted on 10th January 2023 at RSWM Kharigram which was presented by Sh Dileep Chourasia, Safety Manager. Engineering, Maintenance, Security, Commercial, and Production departments were covered in this program.

The topics like Fire Fighting, Evacuation Plans, Emergency Exits, Assemble method, etc were introduced in the program. Sh. Dileep Chourasia educated all personnel to follow safety rules and how to respond to different emergency situations.

RSWM Kharigram :External Training on Prevent Cut and Workplace Injury & Machinery &Equipment Safety

An external training program on Prevent Cut and Workplace Injury & Machinery and Equipment Safety was organized on 9^th March 2023 at RSWM Kharigram and was presented by Sh Anurodh Prashant( External Safety Expert and Auditor.

The staff of various departments like the Engineering, Maintenance, Security, and Production departments were covered in this program. During the session, the covered topics were -Fire Fighting, Safety at Work Place, Tools Handling, response during emergencies, etc.

RSWM Kharigram : External Training on "Creating Healthy Work Environment by Conflict Resolution"

An external training program on Creating Healthy Work Environment by Conflict Resolution was organized on 31^st January 2023 at RSWM Kharigram and was presented by Shri Ravindra Chaitanya Prabhuji (ISKCON). Sh. Manoj Sharma, CHRO, Shri Avinash Bhargava, CFO, Sh. N K Bahedia, COO, and Sh. Vinod Mehta, Sr. VP. welcomed him. All Seniors Staff also attended this program.

During the session, the covered topics were all aspects of Conflict Resolution like how to manage the conflict effectively, various steps, balancing the situation, required management skills, etc.

RSWM Kharigram : Fire Drill

To check the awareness and response of the emergency response team, a Fire Drill Session was conducted on 25^th February 2023 at RSWM Kharigram in the worker hostel area.

The firefighting awareness session was also done to aware workmen of the use of fire extinguishers and emergency equipment. Sh Dileep Chourasia, Manager-Safety conducted this drill, explaining the process of safety in emergency situations

RSWM Kharigram : Campus Recruitment and New Initiative

Like every year, RSWM Kharigram carried out a campus recruitment process to find unparalleled young Graduate Engineers from reputable textile institutions in order to meet our future requirements. These engineers are then developed through a series of structured training programs in accordance with organizational requirements. The organisation intend to broaden the pool of middle managers with leadership potential in the workforce so that the talent RSWM Kharigram will produce the business outcomes will need in the future.

Institutes, empanelled for the campus recruitment, were MLVTEC Bhilwara, GCTI Kanpur, NITRA Ghaziabad, TIT Bhiwani, IICT Bhadohi, DKTE Ichalkaranji, and SVITS Indore. We follow the process of 3 rounds to select a Textile / Engineering Graduate Trainee i.e. Written Test (Online), Group Discussion, and Personal Interview by the panel.

The organisation also introduced a new initiative where there was connection with the Selected TGTs family so that this may create an un-return bonding with his /her family. After finalizing the results, at first, we communicated with the selected student’s parents about their child’s selection in RSWM Ltd., before informing the college and the students. We sent a message to their parents via phone, Whats App, and Sms. The response was overwhelming -parents were filled with immense joy and pride. Some couldn't hold back their tears of happiness.

By involving the families from the very beginning, we aimed to create a strong support system for our TGTs as they enter the next phase of their professional journey. 

This gesture reassured parents that their children were joining a supportive and caring organization that values not only their professional growth but also their overall well-being.

RSWM Mandpam : Training Programme on use of fire fighting & use of fire hydrant system

A training programme on Fire Safety & use of Fire Hydrant System was organized at Mandpam Unit on 19^th February 2023.

The main objective was to create awareness for use of fire hydrant systems at the time of fire. Mr. Anil Bishnoi (Sr. Engineer – Fire & Safety) was the faculty for this training programme.

RSWM Mandpam : National Safety Week

RSWM Mandpam celebrated National Safety Week from 04^th March 2023 to 10^th March 2023. On National Safety Day (04^th March), Mr. Anil Kumar Bishnoi (Sr. Engineer – Fire & Safety) arranged the program & Mr. Satish Kumar Mittal (COO) inaugurated the safety equipment exhibition & narrated the values of safety.

This activity makes a valuable contribution to cultivating a safety culture among the workforce & to ensure safety in their day-to-day activity at the workplace.

Corporate Office: POSH Training for ICC Committee Members

A half-day training session on POSH Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) was conducted on 10th March 2023. Some of the focus areas of the session were the perception of the power and responsibility assigned by ICC under the POSCH Act, understanding of the methodology for conducting an inquiry on sexual harassment complaints at the workplace, understanding concepts such as evidence, summons, formal & informal complaint mechanisms, the timelines for resolving complaints as defined under the Act which ICC would follow while investigating a complaint, understanding conciliation and its process, detailed insights on what should be considered as a frivolous complaint and the complete procedure to handle it.

The POSH Training was given by expert lawyer Ms. Vijayshri Atri in the LNJ HO office. Our eminent members Ms. U. Padmalatha, Ms. Vijaylakshmi, Ms. Puja Bali, Ms. Shallu Garg, and Mr. Ravi Gupta attended the session.
