Maral Sarovar: Republic Day Celebration

The 68th Republic Day of our mother nation celebrated at Maral Sarovar on 26th January 2017. Shri Suresh Maheshwari, President hoisted the National Flag at 7.20 a.m. and also lit up “Amarjyoti” lamp to mark the salutations to the martyrs of independence. Security Staffs performed march-past on this occasion. The workmen who scored 300+ attendances were felicitated in this function. Mr. Anil P R & Mr Ankit Gupta presented patriotic songs on karaoke. Shri Rajkumar Gite, GM (HR&Admn) acknowledged vote of thanks.

LNJ Denim - Women's Day Celebration

International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8 every year. International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements. It celebrates womanhood and pays tribute to the indomitable spirit of women across the globe. We celebrated Women's Day at our plant, LNJ Denim with female staff members on March 8, 2017. Shri Piyush Chandarana, COO expressed his views on the role played by women for making the society successful. He stated women as an example to be followed. She works round the clock not only for self but for her family members. It is very difficult to manage all things in a go but she laids an example of multi-tasking. At the end, Shri Sulabh Shinghal, GM - HR & IR gave a vote of thanks.

HEG Limited: Women’s Day Celebration

Displaying our strong commitment to gender equality in workplace, HEG celebrated International Women’s Day with great pride. Invited all female employees to a common platform which was chaired by our COO, Shri Raju Rastogi in presence of Shri Rajendra Trisal, VP - SCM, Shri Ranadeep Chakraborty, AVP-Maint. & Specialty and Shri Sanjay Singh, Sr GM - HR & A. COO discussed with them that all possible support will be extended which in turn shall unlock their true potential.

Banswara: Mahashiv Ratri Programme

 

The celebration started with Jal - Abhishek of Lord Shiva at Orchard temple. All the colony residents along with their families attended this programme. Yagman of Poojan,  Shri Mukesh Jain with the team of RSWM, Shri Sukesh Sharma (Dy COO), Shri G.L.Kabra (DGM), Shri Manoj Shah(AGM), Shri Aditya Sharma(AGM) performed the main Pooja with their families. In the end, prasad was distributed to all staff members and families.


Banswara: One Day Sports

RSWM Staff club arranged one day sports on January 29, 2017. All the staff & family members participated in various sports and games. The function was inaugurated by the Executive Director Shri Prakash Maheshwari, COO  Shri Sanjay Sharma and all staffs along with family running with Mashal from ADM to playground. In his opening message, he wished all the participants best of luck and expressed his thanks to the organiser.

50 meter race, jalebi race for children, and volley ball throw for different age groups were organised. The drawing competition held for kids was a special attraction of the day. Prizes were distributed to the winners. At the end, Executive Director Shri Prakash Maheshwari with Chief Operating Officer Shri Sanjay Sharma and President of the club Shri Mukesh Jain expressed their vote of thanks.

Banswara: Bhartiya Nav varsh Vikram samvat 2074

The Bhartiya Nav Varsh Vikram Samvat 2074 started on Chaitra shukla eakam (Varsh pratipada) on March 28, 2017. It was celebrated with full devotion and enthusiasm. Following activities were organised:

Lighting at both the gates and workers’ hostel
Welcome banner at colony gate, main gate and prominent places in Banswara town  
We had 'Prabhat Bheri' at 5.30 A.M. and terminated at Temple in Orchard
All the staff and workers were welcomed with Tilak and prasad of misrey, neem and coriander in all shifts
The Bhartiya nav varsh samaroh samiti organised an Indian classical dance at Kushal bhag madan Banswara. It was sponsored by LNJ Bhilwara Group

Banswara: Inauguration of Pyramid for meditation

A meditation pyramid has been built at Sai Mandir, Banswara for the devotees. RSWM Lodha has played vital role in construction of it. This meditation centre has been inaugurated on February 1, 2017 by Hon'ble Brahmarshi Patri, Shri Prakash Maheshwari Executive Director and Shri Sanjay Sharma, COO.


Banswara: Holi celebrations

The festival of Holi started with Holika Dahan in the evening of March 12, 2017. At about 7.30 PM pooja was performed by Shri Sanjay Sharma - COO, Shri N K Bahedia- Dy COO, Shri Sukesh Shamra - Dy COO. Next day a colourful Holi celebration started at 9.30 AM. All staff members and families assembled at staff club and played Holi with different colours. Their feet tapped to the folk music that was played at the event. During the program, all staff members enjoyed delicious fast food that was offered.

LNJ Denim - Makar Sankranti (Uttarayan) Celebration

LNJ Denim’s staff members celebrated Uttarayan (The colourful kite-flying festival of Makar Sankranti ) on January 14, 2017 at LNJ Nagar Colony along with their family members. Makar Sankranti (Kite Flying Day) marks the end of a long winter with the return of the sun to the Northern Hemisphere.

Not only were the children thrilled at this occasion but also the elders who enjoyed flying kites on rooftops. The serene blue sky with colorful kites looked splendid since the beginning of the day and maintained its beauty till the evening that witnessed vivid splashes of colors in different shapes & sizes.

LNJ Denim - Republic Day Celebration

In India, Republic Day is celebrated every year on January 26 to honour the Constitution of India as it came into force on this day in the year 1950.  A country is said to be running good when it has a proper legislation system. 26th January marks the day when a base of law, rules & regulation were laid which led to the formation of our Constitution.

We celebrated 68th Republic Day in our LNJ Denim unit, Mordi on January 26, 2017.The celebration started with National Flag Hosting Ceremony by Shri Piyush Chandarana - COO  followed by the “Guard of Honour” by a group of Security Staff.

On this special Occasion of our 68th Republic Day Shri Piyush Chandarana extended his warm greetings to all employees. Mr Devang Patel - Group Leader, Spinning Department & Mr Jitendra Sigh Rathore - Fitter, Process Maint. Deptartment gave a suggestion on how can we implement the idea of Swatch LNJ Abhiyan. Everybody appreciated their idea.

The function was also addressed by Shri Sulabh Shinghal - GM (HR & IR). Later, sweets were distributed among all staffs & workers on this eve.

LNJ Denim - Basant Panchami- celebration & Craft Exhibition

On the occasion of Basant Panchami, LNJ Denim & Mayur Staff club members Organized Sarswati Pujan with full devotion & enthusiasm at LNJ Nagar Colony, Mordi on February 1, 2017. Staffs with their family members worshiped Maa Sarswati and wished for good health, wealth & prosperity in life. On this occasion, a Craft exhibition was also organized at Bachelor Hostel, Mordi in which we could see innovations being exhibited. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Prabir Bandyopadhyay - CEO. Eveybody appreciated the participants. The program was followed by lunch.  

LNJ Denim - Holi & Dhulendi Celebration

Holi is one of the major festivals of India and is the most vibrant of all. The joys of Holi knows no bound. This festival is celebrated across four corners of the country. We play Holi with different types of colors that symbolizes something or the other. This colourful festival has a lot of significance in our lives

Holi celebrations started with Holika Bonfire on March 12, 2017 at 8:30 pm at LNJ Nagar Staff Colony with full enthusiasm in presence of all Staff Members. The next day, staffs members with their families enjoyed Dhulendi program & played Holi with different vibrant colors. All staff members danced on folk music and enjoyed to the fullest. Variety of delicacies were offered to people that day.

Kharigram: New Year Sneh Milan 2017

On  January 1, 2017,  “New Year Welcome program" was organised at Mayur Nagar campus. All the local dignitaries, District Administration, Trade Associates, Politicians and prominent citizens of Banswara town attended the program. The Function started at 8 with grand entry of Shri Prakash Maheshwari - Executive Director.

Rangoli (designed with flower) was the main attraction of this function. Musical team headed by Shri Ganshyam Joshi entertained the audience. The dignitaries were welcomed by Shri S.N Goyal President BMD, Shri P. Bandhopadhya  BH Denim, Shri Sanjay Sharma COO (Lodha), Shri Rakesh Sitoke COO (TPP), Shri N.K.Bahedia Dy COO (COM), Shri Sukesh Sharma Dy COO( Lodha). All the senior officers of LNJ Bhilwara group attended this new year program  with their families.

Lodha: Annual Games and sports for workman

The inauguration of annual games and sports events for the year 2017 was done by Shri Prakash Maheshwari Sub Executive Director. In his opening speech, he expressed his views on the values of games in our life. Total 8 teams participated in volley ball and kabaddi during the event. Hand ball competition for females was the best and everybody enjoyed this event. Finally it all ended with the prize distribution ceremony. 

Lodha: Republic Day celebration

The celebration started with flag hosting ceremony by Shri Prakash Maheshwari, Executive Director at 8.30 A.M. The main attraction of the function was groomed parade organised by Security Personnel and Class Trainees.

As a chief guest of the program, Shri Prakash Maheshwari delivered a memorable speech. He started with remembrance of national leaders who contributed in making the constitution of India.  

On this occasion, the workers having highest attendance record in the calendar year 2016 were rewarded. Total 15 employees (Staff & Workers) who completed 25 years with RSWM were felicitated with shawl and certificates

Lodha: Hanuman Jayanti

Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated on April 11, 2017 with full devotion, fondness & enthusiasm at Hanuman Temple in Orchard. All staff members along with their family participated in the celebration.

The Pooja & Yagna was performed by a team of renowned pundits from Khadagda under the leadership of Shri Shiv Narayan Dixit, Head of Govardhan Vidhya Vihar Sanskrit Mahavidhyalay. Hundreds of staff members offered ‘Aahuty’ for the prosperity of the group & prayed lord hanuman for the betterment of plant and livelihood. The programme was followed by ‘Maha Prasad’ after ‘Poornahuti’. All the Senior Officers of Denim, Fabric and TPP participated in the program. Shri Prakash Maheshwari - Executive Director also participated in Poornahuti and blessed the occasion.  

Kharigram: Lohri Parv

Lohri & Makar Sakranti  was celebrated by RSWM Kharigram pariwar on January 13, 2017. This event was organized by RSWM Staff club. Staffs and their family members participated in this festival with great enthusiasm. Starting from Bhangra with music around wood fire followed by pooja and singing of Lohri songs enlightened kids, ladies club and staff members. At the end of the function, all newly couples and new born babies were blessed by Smt Manju Maheshwari W/o Shri Prakash Maheshwari-Executive Director, Shri Naresh Maheshwari - COO and were greeted with gifts.  I t was indeed a great pleasure for us that Padma Shri winner, Ustad F Wasiffudin Dagar ji was also present at the occasion.

Kharigram: Makar Sankranti Celebration

Makar Sankranti Parv was celebrated by RSWM Kharigram pariwar on January 14, 2017 along with staff members and their family members. They enjoyed this colorful festivity of flying kites, sitoliya, Guli Danda, Cricket, Ring throw etc at great extend. Celebrations ended with Maha Aarti in colony temple, distribution of prasad and delicious dinner in presence of Shri Prakash Maheshwari - Executive Director and Shri Naresh Maheshwari - COO. Everybody was happy on this occasion. Shri Naresh Sharma, Staff club President gave his thanks to all on the success of the occasion

Kharigram: Mahashivratri Celebration

On February 24, 2017 Mahashivratri Parv was celebrated by RSWM Kharigram pariwar at colony temple. The celebration started with jal Abhishek of Lord Shiva. Staff club organized the event. Staff and their family members participated in this festival with great enthusiasm. The celebration ended with the Aarti and distribution of Prasad. Everyone was delighted to be part of this parv and enjoyed this occasion whole-heartedly.

Kharigram: Hindu Nav Varsh

 

 

RSWM, Kharigram Pariwar celebrated Hindu Nav Varsh on March 28, 2017 in the colony campus. This event was organized by RSWM Staff Club. Kharigram. The Staff members alongwith their families participated in Prabhat Pheri early in the morning and then enjoyed the celebration. In presence of Shri Prakash Maheshwari, Execitive Director; Shri Naresh Maheshwari, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Staff members. All the participants were welcomed by Tilak ceremony.

Kharigram: Hindu Nav Varsh Sneh Milan and Cultural Programme

On April 2, 2017, Hindu New Year Vikram Sanwat 2074 Welcome Programme was organized for the first time by RSWM Staff Club Kharigram. In the evening Shri Prakash Maheswari, Executive Director started the cultural program with "Deep-Prajawalan".  In the program, Desh Bhakti Geet, Rajasthani Nritya, and other songs were performed by Kids, Ladies, Gents.

Everybody enjoyed the celebration with great zeal and enthusiasm was seen among large number of staffs and their family members. Shri Prakash Maheshwari, Executive Director; Dr Naresh Maheshwari, Chief Operating Officer; Shri Vinay Srivastva, Dy COO and Shri Naresh Sharma,  President of Staff were the key people who were present at the occasion.

The programme ended with light music and delicious dinner. Everyone enjoyed and appreciated the programme.

Kharigram: Holi Celebration

On March 12, 2017 the festival of Holi started with Holika Dahan in the evening followed by Holika Pooja which was performed by Shri Prakash Maheshwari, Executive Director and Shri Naresh Maheshwari, COO.  Next day, a colorful Holi celebration started where all staff members and their families were present. Everybody played colorful Holi and were delighted to see vibrant colours around. Songs and dances were performed by the staff members. Everybody enjoyed delicious fast food. In the evening, a cultural program was organized followed by dinner.

Kharigram: Women's Day Celebration

The International Women's Day was organised on March 8, 2017 at the unit led by Smt Manju Maheshwar. Wives of all officers attended the function. Painting and other competitions were organised on the day for the women workers.

Folk dances were presented by women workers. Some lady workers and wives of officers spoke on aspects of ladies contribution & renaissance in India over time to time. Dr Naresh Maheshwari, COO praised the programme and spoke on the occasion to encourage women workers.On this day, different slogans that were prepared earlier for the pledge of RSWM to take care of the women's employment, safety and welfare were read out. Prizes were also given to the winners.

Kharigram: Sports Day

To create good culture and belongingness, two days of sports activities was celebrated at Raj Spin Shramik Colony from  Jan 23-24, 2017. Shri Prakash Maheshwari, Executive Director inaugrated with a token smash of vollyball. P & IR department organised many games like Vollyball, Shortput, Kabaddi, Lemon Spoon Race etc. Many teams were formed from workers of all units of Kharigram. They played with full enthusiasm and sportsman spirit. At the concluding ceremony, Dr Naresh Maheshwari, COO distributed prizes to winners and spoke to encourage workers.  A vote of thanks was given followed by dinner.

Bagalur: Pongal Celebration

 

Pongal is a harvest festival celebrated enthusiastically by Tamils all over the world. The festival of Pongal falls on the first day of new Tamil month, Thai. This festival which lasts for four days is similar to Thanks giving which is celebrated in Western World. Each of the four days is unique and has significance. Pongal is also called Makar Sankranti, since it is celebrated on the first day of Thai when the Sun enters the Makara Rasi (Capricorns). This signals, the end of winter and the onset of spring throughout the northern hemisphere. For the next six months, days are longer and warmer. At Bagalur unit, Pongal festival was celebrated on January 142017 and employees actively participated in Kho-kho, Running, Rangoli, Mehandi followed by distribution of prizes to the winners of the competition.

Bagalur: Republic Day Celebration

Celebration started with flag hoisting by Shri V V Raju [Vice President-(O)] on January 26, 2017. In his speech, he spoke about the importance of Republic day and responsibilities of young generation towards the development of society. The main attraction of the function was well dressed parade organized by security personnel and class trainees. 

Bagalur: Women’s Day Celebration

 

 

The International women’s day was organized by ladies club at Bagalur unit on March 8, 2017 with a huge gathering of female staff including wives of staff. Shri H. M. Vashishth, COO of Mandapam Unit chaired a get together session along with Shri Vinod Mehta, COO & Shri V. V. Raju, VP(O), where all female employees were appreciated for their contribution towards the organization's progress. Our female employees shared their work experience and journey in the organization.

Bagalur: Holi Celebration

Holi, the festival of colors was celebrated at Bagalur unit with much fervor and enthusiasm. A puja was performed on March 13, 2017. Gulal and colors were distributed to the colony residents. It was fun all the way on the day of dhulandi, with resident members throwing colors at each other. After the colorful celebration, light refreshment was also served to all participants.

Bagalur: Ugadi Celebration

On the auspicious day of UGADI that was celebrated on March 29, 2017 Poojan and Yagnam was organized at Bagalur unit to get divine blessings of God for the prosperity and progress of RSWM, BAGALUR UNIT. Mrs & Mr Vinod Mehta, Mrs & Mr V V Raju participated in the pooja.

MPCL: Holi Celebration

Ecofriendly Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and eagerness at MPCL on March 13, 2017. During the celebration, only organic colours were used. Water sprays and colours were avoided by MPCL family. Tea Party including snacks and sweets was organized and enjoyed by members who were present on the occasion. Children/ladies/gents enjoyed the dance program arranged and performed Himachali folk dance (Nati).

MPCL: Republic Day

Republic day was celebrated on January 26, 2017 at MPCL.  Security Officer of MPCL received our  Chief Guest Shri H S Beshtoo and immediately carried out guards’ inspection. After flag hoisting ceremony by the Chief Guest, Guard of Honor and March Pass were carried out by the Security Personnels. Chief Guest addressed all participants and told them about the importance of this day. Sweets were then distributed among employees and children.

Rishabhdev: Lohri & Makar Sankranti Celebration

Lohri, the harvest festival of Punjab was celebrated at Rishabhdev on January 13, 2017 by burning Lohri and performing pooja. Staff and family members enjoyed the celebration. Shri K B Khatod, COO felicitated the newly married couples and new born babies on this occasion.

On Makar Sankranti January 14 everyone enjoyed the day by playing various traditional games like Sitholia, Gulli Danda, Kite Flying, etc. The programme ended with heavy snacks and tea.

Rishabhdev: Republic Day Celebration

Along with the country, Rishabhdev unit also celebrated India’s  68th Republic Day on January 26, 2017 in a spirit of patriotism. Shri K B Khatod, COO unfurled the National Flag in the morning in front of ADM block. Officers, staff, union members and large number of workers were present at the time of flag hoisting. The COO addressed the gathering and conveyed his best wishes to all.

Rishabhdev: Sports Day

Staff Club, Rishabhdev organized a one day sports event for staff and family on January 26, 2017 on the occasion of Republic Day. Various sports like 100 meter race, spoon race, long jump, high jump, shotput, Needle & Thread race, etc. were held for gents, ladies and children separately. All staff members with their families enjoyed the day by participating in various games followed by the dinner.

Rishabhdev: Mandir Patotsav

Patotsav of Siddhi Vinayak Ganeshji was celebrated at RSWM Rishabhdev on February 9, 2017 in a spiritual atmosphere. Puja and Hawan were performed by a team of Pandit from Khadagda. All officers and staff along with their family members performed the hawankriya. The yajman of the Puja was Smt & Shri K B Khatod and they addressed the employees by greeting them with best wishes. At the end, Prasad was distributed to all.

Rishabhdev: Holi Celebration

On March 13, 2017, Holi was celebrated at Rishabhdev in a joyous and colourful atmosphere. Staff with their families enjoyed the festival by playing with gulal & colour and by dancing & singing. In the evening, a Holi Feast was arranged for all staff families. On this occasion, prizes were distributed to the winners of various activities that were held.

ADHPL: Republic Day celebration

Republic Day was celebrated on January 26, 2017 at ADHPL. Shri R K Khaitan, AVP F&A was the Chief Guest on this occasion. After flag hoisting ceremony by the chief guest, sweets were distributed among the employees who were present at the occasion.

ADHPL: Holi Celebration

Eco-friendly Holi was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiam at ADHPL on March 13, 2017. During the celebrations, only organic colours were used along with water sprays. This time, water colours were avoided by all the ADHPL family. Tea and snacks were served at the occasion. Dance program was arranged on this day that was appreciated alot by the children.

Republic Day was celebrated on January 26, 2017 at ADHPL. Shri R K Khaitan - AVP F&A was the Chief Guest on this occasion. After flag hoisting ceremony by the chief guest, sweets were distributed among the employees who were present at the occasion.

Mandpam & Kanyakheri - Lohri Celebration

The festival of Lohri marks the culmination of winter season and is celebrated on January 13, 2017 every year for fertility and spark of life.  All staff members & their families of Mandpam and Kanyakheri units jointly celebrated the occasion. Complete Melange Pariwar gathered around the bonfire and offered sweets. The bonhomie during the Lohri celebrations in Mandpam Unit symbolized the spirit of brotherhood and unity among all members of both the units.

Republic Day (January 26, 2017) was celebrated with much gusto and enthusiasm in Mandpam unit. The National Flag was hoisted by Shri H M Vashisth, COO who also addressed the audience of staff and workers.  Later, sweets were distributed among all staffs and workers to celebrate the occasion.  At Kanya Kheri Unit, the flag hoisting was done by Dy COO, Shri Vinit Agrawal. Sweets  were distributed to all staffs and workers.

Mandpam and Kanyakheri - Maha Shivratri

On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, a “Bhajan Sandhya” was organized at Melangeshwar Mahadev Temple on the night of February 24, 2017 which was enjoyed by staff members of both the units, Mandpam and Kanyakheri.

Prasad was also distributed among all staffs and workers.

Mandpam & Kanyakheri - Holi Celebration

The festival of Holi was celebrated jointly by Mandpam and Kanya Kheri staff with much fervor and enthusiasm. A puja was performed on March 12 at 8:00 p.m in the evening. Gulal packets were also distributed to the colony residents.

Dhulandi celebrated on 13 th March 2017 was fun and it was worth watching resident members throwing colours at each other. The fun-filled event of playing colours was followed by lunch in the lawns.

Graphite School: Saraswati Pooja on Vasant Panchami

Saraswati pooja was conducted in school on the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami that was celebrated on February 1 this year. Pooja was conducted in morning to seek blessing of Goddess Saraswati.

Vasant Panchmi is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music, arts, science and technology. Vasant Panchami is also known as Shri Panchami and Saraswati Panchami.

People worship Goddess Saraswati to enlighten themselves with knowledge and get rid of lethargy, sluggishness and ignorance. This ritual of initiating education to children is known as Akshar-Abhyasam or Vidhya-Arambham/Praasana which is one of the famous rituals of Vasant Panchami.

Programs included songs, speech by students and a brief lecture by Smt Arti Sharma who talked on the importance of Vasant Panchami. Smt Sharma also shared the Saraswati Mantra with students so that they recite the same every morning and seek Goddess' blessings.

Graphite School: Vivekananda Jayanti Celebration

The birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated in school on January 12, 2017 as Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day. The great man was remembered for his philosophy & ideal for which he lived and worked and inspired the Indian youth. Graphite School was delightfully adorned to enthusiastically celebrate the event.

Philosophies, teachings and ideas of Swami Vivekananda are of great cultural and traditional assets in India. Youths are important part of the country who will lead the country ahead, that’s why youth are selected to be inspired first by the ideas and then the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. So, the National Youth Day is  celebrated every year to encourage and inspire the young minds of the India. Swami Vivekananda was a great person who always believed in youth power to lead and nourish the historical culture of the country and carry some advancement required by the country to be developed.

Various programs which included were speeches, songs, skits which were held to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in the school. The school Principal  Smt Vinita Mishra in her address said that the ideal way to remember and honor a saint is by understanding his teaching and his valuable thoughts. It is for us to pickup the pearls of wisdom and contemplate and apply it in our daily life.

These programs were focused to promote education, art& culture, generate moral values and enlighten inner souls of students.

Graphite School: Sayonara-2017

Students of senior class of Graphite School, Mandideep, gathered on January 28, 2017 to bid farewell to the outgoing batch of class XII. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. The school was festooned with gold & shining stars along with dazzling lights. The valedictory party was named ‘Sayonara-2017’.

The ceremony started with welcoming of class XII students in a traditional way. Students of class XI put up a mesmerizing programme for their senior friends. They presented colorful musical and entertaining programme for their seniors which included songs, dances, skits etc. An incredible dance item presented by class XI students was well applauded. Girls also gave a scintillating dance performance and the pulsating music rocked the ambiance.

Class XI students read out compliments while school Principal Ms. Vinita Mishra presented a memento to each student.

The auditorium was set ablaze with games, ramp walk with self introduction by class XII students. The judges put various questions and students replied intellectually.

Graphite School: Republic Day Celebration

Republic Day in India is celebrated every year on January 26 to honor the Constitution of India as it came into force on the same day in the year 1950. It had replaced the Government of India Act, 1935 into the governing document of the India.

68th Republic Day was celebrated in Graphite School on January 26, 2017 with zeal and with national fervor. Sacrifices by great leaders and framers of the constitution of India were also remembered with respect.

On this day various cultural programs were presented by students which included action songs by tiny tots and primary students. A skit showing patriotic fervor named ‘Story of Constitution” was presented by students with great sense of respect for their nation and the constitution. Through the skit, students showcased the principles of our constitution, highlighted various components and its importance for the Indians. Other programs included songs of patriotic fervor and speeches of respect to the nation that stole hearts of audiences present that day.

Chief guest Shri Rajendra Trisal appreciated the performance of school students and in his message, guided the students to be loyal, honest and respect their nation always.

School Principal Smt Vinita Mishra asked the students to develop good moral values, be loyal and show dedication to all the work they do. She also insisted her students to understand the principles of constitution, properly exercise the rights and duties given in the constitution, and prove themselves to stand as good citizens of the country. 

Maral, Noida: Republic Day Celebration

Republic Day was celebrated with great honour at the factory on January 26 and the flag was hoisted by Mr Saveen Kumar Dixit (Ast Mgr-HR). In his speech, he spoke about importance of Republic Day and responsibilities of young generation towards the development of the society.

Maral, Noida: Women's Day Celebration

Maral Noida-Unit-3, Human Resources initiated celebration of Women’s Day on March 8, 2017 where all female employees were appreciated for their contribution towards the organization's progress. The female employees shared their work experience and journey in a get-together session with Dr Gaura Tiwari. A speech was given by Dr Gaura Tiwari and was further coordinated by Ms Ritika Sharma.

Maral Sarovar: Annual Day Celebration

On January 12, 2017 Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar celebrated its Annual Day with mesmerizing performances by students of the school. It included group dances, speech, drama and orchestra. District Collector, Khargone Shri Ashok Verma, IAS was the Chief Guest of the evening while Shri Suresh Maheshwari, President, Maral Overseas Ltd & Chairman of SMC was our special guest. School Principal Shri Sandeep Panat presented the Annual Report.  

Maral Sarovar: National Safety Week

On the occasion of 46th National Safety Day (Foundation Day of National Safety Council), Safety awareness Campaign was organized at Maral Overseas Ltd, Maral Sarovar from March 4 to 10, 2017. Different types of activities were organized to create awareness among the employees

In the closing ceremony on March 11, Safety Officer of the plant reminded the Oath of Safety. Shri Suresh Maheshwari, President addressed the employees and appealed to everyone to follow safety norms and avoid smoking, chewing tobacco and drink alcohol.

Safety workshops, mock drills, training programmes for engineering, maintenance, production, power plant staff and different types of other motivational activities like safety quiz, safety slogan, and safety poster were the part of the campaign. Winners of various competitions were awarded in the closing ceremony.  

Maral Sarovar: Holi Celebration

The festival of colours “Holi” was celebrated at Maral Sarovar with a fun splash of colors.  “Holika Dahan” took place on night of March 12 followed by a cultural programme. On March 13, staff members along with their famiiles assembled at the Staff club lawns and played holi by smearing each others face with colours. After playing holi, delicious lunch was served to the staffs and their family members by the Staff Club.

Bhilwara: Republic Day Celebration

On the eve of Republic Day celebration at Soochna Kendra Bhilwara, painting and dance completion were organized by Akriti Kala Sansthan in association with LNJ group. A debate competition was also organized titled ‘Shahido ko Naman' in which several young enthusiastic people participated. In presence of Chief Guest Shri Rajnish Kumar, OSD LNJ Group, all participants were given citation, momentos and were entrusted with zest for Patriotism & Nationalism.

Bhilwara: Women's Day Celebration

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, LNJ Group in association with Akriti Kala Sansthan felicitated mothers of the winners of our previous events, Little Picasso 1 & 2. Altogether, 75 mothers were felicitated by Group keeping in mind their contribution to kids in enhancing promotion of talent. They were honoured in presence of their children by Chief Guest, Shri Anandi Lal Vaishnav, ADM City Bhilwara and Shri Rajnish Kumar, OSD LNJ Bhilwara Group that always stands for its contribution & value in promotion of Art and Culture in Bhilwara City.

Bhilwara: Holi Celebration

Holi Mahotsava was organised for fifth consecutive year with enthusiasm and huge participation by local residents of Bhilwara. With the Theme of ‘Save Enviroment, Save water, and Save trees' a musical dance troop was called upon from Vrindawan which binded the audience with their charismatic performance. On this occasion, Chief Guest Shri Damodar Agrawal, BJP Chief Bhilwara praised the holy effort of our Group in promotion of cultural activities for Bhilwara City. Also present were Shri Vittal Shankar Awasthi, MLA Bhilwara City, Smt Madhu Jaju, and Shri Rajnish Kumar ,OSD LNJ Group. Huge crowd went beserk and was seen dancing along with the artists dressed like God/Goddess.

Fabric: Republic Day Celebration

On January 26, 2017, 68th Republic day was celebrated at Fabric Division, Mordi. Shri Bikash Ghosh (COO) unfurled the National Flag at 7.30 AM followed by the National Anthem.

Shri P K Bhatt (HR Head) in his speech remembered about national leaders who contributed in making our constitution. He enlightened us that our constitution gives us rights and we have some responsibilities towards the nation.

Chief Guest Shri Bikash Ghosh (COO) addressed to the employees. He stated that we are a developing country and our goal is to become a well developed country in the world.  He enlightened that the industries plays a vital role in a GDP of the country and we should put our best efforts to achieve the targets.

On this occasion, workers were rewarded for highest attendance and for honesty. Also, awards were given to best Security Personnel, Honesty, and Volleyball Tournament winner.

Fabric: Saraswati Pooja at workers hostel

On the holy occasion of ‘Basant Panchami’ RSWM Mayur Nagar Pariwar celebrated Saravasti pooja with full devotion, fondness & enthusiasm at workers hostel. All workmen residing in colony joined the celebration along with staff members. Poojan & Hawan were performed by pundit . Hundreds of workmen offered ‘Aahuti’ in yagan for prosperity of the group & prayed Goddess Saravasti for continuous improvement and accomplishment.

TPP: Holi Celebration

Staff club of TPP organized a two-day Holi function at LNJ Nagar TPP Staff Colony where staffs and their family members participated.

On the Eve of Holi, Holika Dahan was performed with pooja archana. Dulendi Sneh Milan was organized in the morning & great arrangements were made for breakfast & lunch by Head Safety.

Lodha: Lohri & Makar Sakranti Celebration

On 13th Jan'17, RSWM Staff Club Lodha celebrated the function of Lohri by lighting & pooja. Beautiful Bhangra & other dance performances were presented by children and staffs. At the end of the function, all newly wedded couples & babies were blessed with best wishes. Gifts were distributed to them by Chief Operating Officer Shri Sanjay Sharma.

Lodha: Women’s day celebration

The International Women’s day was celebrated on March 8 at RSWM Ltd Lodha Campus. Our female workers and staff members were welcomed by tilak, bouquet and Prasad. Shri Aditya Sharma, AGM( HR) addressed all female workmen & staff in this program.

Ringas: Lohri & Makar Sankranti celebration

Lohri, the winter bonfire festival for Hindus was celebrated by Staff Club with lots of joy. People gathered around the rising flames, circle around the bonfire, thrown puffed rice, popcorn and other munchies into the fire. They sung popular Pop songs and danced around the fire. People prayed to Agni, the fire god to bless the land with abundance and prosperity. After celebration, Til, Gajak, Jaggery, Peanuts and Popcorn were distributed.

Makar Sankranti was also celebrated. People enjoyed this festival with Kites, Gulli Danda, Sitolia, Cricket etc. This harvest festival was celebrated by staff members and their families of Spinning & RCPF Division through various cultural programmes.

Ringas: Republic Day Celebration

The 67th Republic Day was celebrated with flag hoisting ceremony followed by National Anthem and Guard of Honour to the National Flag in front of the Administrative Office.

To mark the importance of the Republic Day, a parade was held in front of Administrative Office by our Security & Safety team.

After the flag hoisting, everyone assembled in HR Centre because it rained.

Shri Avinash Bhargava, Dy COO had emphasized on national integrity, prosperity & also addressed the meeting. Besides this, national song was performed by workers & staff members followed by award distribution for good performance of staff & security personnel. The function was concluded with sweet distribution.

Ringas: Khatu Shyam ji Mela

Khatu Mela started on March 4, 2017 & ended on March 8, 2017. On the last day of the Mela, all staff members and their families assembled at the Main Gate of the Unit.

After performing Pooja at Main Gate, Shobha Yatra started with devotional songs. All staff & their family members distributed Fruits & Chach to the devotees passing through, to attend the Khatu Shyamji Mela.

Every year, staff members distribute drinks & eatables out of their own contributions.

Ringas: Holi Celebration

The festival of Holi was celebrated in a colourful manner. On March 12, 2017 in the evening and the Pooja was performed. After the pooja, Holika Dhahan took place. All Staff Members of Spinning & RCPF Division along with their family members participated in the programme and enjoyed with gulal. Dance was performed by all couples separately who were present in the evening.

On March 13 at Noon, all staff members of ladies club & children assembled at the club premises where they exchanged Holi wishes with gulal. Families cheerfully enjoyed the festival by throwing gulal at each other. It was a wonderful moment for employees & their families to share their happiness and blessings with each other. Shri Anurag Tiwari, V P (Tech. – RCPF) led the cultural programme.

In the afternoon, lunch was also organized in Spinning & RCPF Division where all the workers, staff members and their families enjoyed delicious food.

Shri Avinash Bhargava, Dy COO of the Unit conveyed his best wishes to staff members, workers and their families.

Ringas: Annual Day Celebration

On March 25, 2017 Annual Day of Ladies Club was celebrated. Some varieties of games were organized by the club members in which children, Juniors, Seniors & Staff in category-wise participated. Also, an interesting Game called Houji was arranged in which the participant who wins the game was given cash prize. All participants enjoyed the event.

Ladies Club indulged in social activities like charities in Schools, Aagan Badi etc. & they celebrate  their annual day every year.

Dinner was also arranged for all families of Ladies Club members which was prepared by members of Ladies Club.

Shri Anil Bhandari, President (Staff Club) conveyed his thanks to the President (Ladies Club) & all members of Ladies Club for a beautiful evening.

HO: Basant Panchami

Female staff at HO on the occasion of Basant Panchami on February 1, 2017,  wore yellow clothes as it signifies the ripening of fruits and crops. The mustard fields in North India blooms during this season giving a yellow coat to nature. People wear yellow clothes, offer yellow flowers to Goddess and put a yellow, turmeric tilak on their forehead. 

A book fair was organised on this occasion where books were discounted at the rate of 20% to 80%. Eveybody appreciated this gathering & devoted some time with each other.

HO: Holi Milan

Holi Mahotsava was organized with great enthusiasm and huge participation was observed at the Head Office. The employees gathered at the reception and huge snacks were served. Each and everyone present at the venue was full of joy & happiness. They exchanged colours and wishes with each other. The environment was extremely good and lot of positivity was reflected.

HO: Women's Day Celebration

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, female staff at Head Office celebrated the event with great enthusiasm. Women employees were shown a short movie which they enjoyed a lot followed by a game in which each women had to write on the white paper stuck at the back of every women. The employees enjoyed compliments that they received from their colleagues. Also, a white blackboard was placed at the venue where every women signed. The entire day went off well with snacks distribution & finally we could see how overwhelmed they were to see such arrangements made by Head Office.

HO: Lohri Celebration

Lohri is a winter time Punjabi folk festival, an occasion that holds great importance for farmers. Celebrated primarily by Sikhs and Hindus from the Punjab region of Indian subcontinent, this festival commemorates the passing of winter solstice. It marks the end of winter season, and is a traditional welcome of longer days and sun's journey to the northern hemisphere. Singing and dancing form an intrinsic part of the celebrations. People wear their brightest clothes and come to dance the bhangra and gidda to the beat of the dhol. 

On January 13, 2017  Lohri was celebrated at HO in the lawn where the fire was lit in. Executives gathered around the rising flames, circle around the bonfire, sung the lohri song, thrown puffed rice, popcorn and the munchies into the fire. Snacks  were distributed to staff thereafter.

 

 

BIL: Holi Celebration

In the month of March, BIL-Bengaluru celebrated Holi in a funny way. Employees came dressed in colourful attire for this special occasion. The BILians Club had organised a painting competition and the groups were asked to paint using only Holi colours.

This event highlighted the creative side of each and every employee.

VKV Rishabhdev: Rishabhdev Celebration

Republic Day at VKV Rishabhdev was celebrated with great zeal, enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Total 600 students participated in various events. Girls of IX and X were trained with martial arts for their self defence. They also performed their different moves. 110 students participated in dances that paid tributes to our soldiers. Mass P.T. was performed by the students of classes III to V.
