VVV Maral Sarovar Held Little Stars Olympiad Award Ceremony

Our youngest learners in Nursery through Class I recently made us proud by dominating the national SilverZone Little Star Olympiad. Demonstrating brilliant early skills in English, Hindi, Math, and EVS, these kids racked up a staggering 81 medals—64 gold, 15 silver, and 2 bronze. This massive win proves that focusing on critical thinking and real understanding instead of just memorizing facts is the right approach.

VVV Maral Sarovar Organized Vivek Anveshan "Overnight Activity Camp"

Moving away from traditional classroom paradigms, this immersive nocturnal learning camp prioritized experiential growth. The program integrated specialized seminars on public speaking and professional confidence with adventurous physical challenges, including the Burma Bridge and strategic treasure hunts, to build resilience and interpersonal synergy. Additionally, night astronomy sessions created a critical bridge between theoretical science and natural observation, preparing students for real-world competency and future leadership roles.

VVV Maral Sarovar Organized Parents at School Day

Recognizing the vital role of the family unit in early childhood education, this event served as a quintessential socio-educational gathering. By fostering active engagement among students (Nursery to Class II), parents, and grandparents, the school reinforced the symbiotic relationship essential to a child’s emotional and cognitive growth. The event featured a curated showcase of student talent and collaborative family activities, solidifying a resilient intergenerational support network.

VVV Maral Sarovar Organized World Environment Day Campaign (SDG Updates)

In alignment with global ecological concerns and SDG 13: CLIMATE ACTION, SDG 14: LIFE BELOW WATER, SDG 15: LIFE ON LAND, the school launched an innovative digital campaign titled Creativity and Commitment to Conservation. The initiative leveraged modern media literacy by requiring students across three cohorts—arboriculture, eco-art, and sustainable lifestyle practices. By translating theoretical environmental ethics into tangible domestic actions (such as sapling cultivation, graphic advocacy, and energy conservation), the project successfully decentralized and internalized ecological responsibility.

VVV Maral Sarovar Celebrated International Yoga Day and World Music Day

The joint celebration of two global events was delivered through an integrated health framework, seamlessly blending mindful body movement with sound therapy to advance SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). Highlighted by a live vocal performance of "Chalo Yog Kare," the session practically demonstrated how rhythmic sound waves can regulate the nervous system and enhance mental clarity. Under the expert guidance of Ms. Kirti Yadav, students explored modern wellness practices—ranging from neurological sound healing and secular mindfulness to ecopsychology (connecting human health to the natural world). By fostering both individual resilience and environmental awareness, the initiative also directly supported the core principles of SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 15 (Life on Land)

VKV Hurda Organized One Day Workshop on Space & Astronomy

Students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda from Classes III to XII enthusiastically participated in a Space & Astronomy Camp on 7 April 2026, organized in collaboration with Aryabhata Foundation. The program began with the formal welcome of Mr. Sanjay Guptaji, who was honoured with a bouquet by the Principal Madam as a mark of respect and appreciation.

This was followed by an informative and engaging PowerPoint presentation by Mr. Sanjay Gupta ji, wherein he explained the concept of the Sun and highlighted the future potential and applications of solar energy. A practical observation of the Sun was conducted, providing students with a valuable hands-on learning experience. Marking the onset of the new academic session, the event proved to be highly enriching, fostering scientific curiosity and developing a deeper interest in astronomy among the participants.

GHSS Explored the Future through Science and Technology

Forty students from Classes IX to XII participated in the Foundation Day Celebration held at the Regional Science Centre, Bhopal, on 7 April 2026. Organised by NITTTR, Bhopal, the programme offered students an enriching exposure to emerging technologies, scientific thinking, and diverse career opportunities. During the visit, students explored key facilities, including the Siemens Centre of Excellence, CEL, and OSAT, gaining valuable insights into modern technological advancements and their practical applications. The experience encouraged students to think beyond textbooks and connect classroom learning with real-world developments. It also broadened their understanding of technology-driven careers and inspired them to consider exciting possibilities in technical fields. The visit was both informative and motivating, fostering curiosity, innovation, and a deeper appreciation for the role of science and technology in shaping the future.

GHSS Organized Art-O-Mania

On the occasion of World Art Day, the school organised ART-O-MANIA, an Inter-House Artifact Making Competition, to nurture creativity and artistic expression among students. Themed “The Garden of Expressions,” the competition was conducted in two categories—Junior (Classes VI to VIII) and Senior (Classes IX to XII). The young artists showcased their imagination through innovative creations. Juniors crafted eco-friendly artworks using natural materials, while seniors explored layering techniques, incorporating striking 3D effects and neat finishing. The entries were evaluated on creativity, neatness, relevance to the theme, effective use of materials, and craftsmanship. The competition provided students with a vibrant platform to experiment, create, and express themselves artistically while developing an appreciation for sustainable art and thoughtful craftsmanship.

GHSS Participated at 11th SPIC MACAY International Convention

Five students participated in the 11th SPIC MACAY International Convention, held at IIT Kharagpur from 25 to 31 May 2026. This week-long residential programme offered an enriching journey into India’s vibrant cultural heritage through classical music and dance, yoga, meditation, heritage walks, and workshops conducted by eminent Gurus. Students also participated in cultural interactions and community service activities, gaining a deeper understanding of Indian traditions and the Guru–Shishya Parampara. The experience highlighted the values of discipline, simplicity, mindfulness, and respect for cultural heritage. Interacting with participants from across the country, the students also strengthened their leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. The convention was a memorable experience that connected young minds with India’s rich cultural legacy and inspired them to appreciate and preserve its timeless traditions.

GHSS Shown Remarkable Performance at 12th MP State Senior/Junior Pencak Silat Championship 2026–27

Students of Classes V to IX brought laurels to the school through remarkable performances in two prestigious martial arts championships. At the 12th MP State Senior/Junior Pencak Silat Championship 2026–27, held from 1 to 3 May 2026, students displayed exceptional talent, discipline, and sportsmanship, securing six Gold, two Silver, and two Bronze medals, while another student participated actively. Their success reflected their dedication and rigorous preparation.

Further, nine students participated in the 24th WTSKF Traditional Shotokan Karate Championship held in Guwahati from 13 to 20 May 2026. Demonstrating confidence, perseverance, and technical excellence, the students secured an impressive tally of one Gold, two Silver, and six Bronze medals. These achievements are a testament to their hard work and determination, inspiring others to pursue excellence both on and off the field.

As part of the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations, students actively participated in a range of enriching yoga activities. On 19 June, five students, accompanied by an escort teacher, visited the Regional Science Centre, Bhopal, for STEM-based Yoga and Mathematical Activities and a Pictorial Quiz themed “Yoga for Healthy Aging.” The experience enhanced their knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and understanding of yoga’s benefits. On 20 June, the school organised an Inter-House Yoga Competition, witnessing enthusiastic participation from all four houses in both boys’ and girls’ categories. Students were appreciated for their posture, coordination, confidence, and presentation. They also had the valuable opportunity to perform various yogasanas under the guidance of instructors from Isha Foundation, inspiring them to embrace yoga as a pathway to a healthy, disciplined, and balanced life.

VKV Rishabhdev Promoted Sustainability through Craft Activity

A “Best Out of Waste” craft activity was conducted in our class to promote awareness about sustainability. The main objective of this activity was to encourage students to reuse and recycle waste materials creatively instead of throwing them away. Students actively participated by bringing items such as old newspapers, plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, and used containers from home. Using these materials, they created beautiful and useful craft items like pen holders, decorative pieces, and storage boxes. 

VKV Rishabhdev Conducted Vegetable Growing Activity under Kaushal Bodh

Under Kaushal Bodh classes (Domain 1: Teaching and Learning), an activity on “Growing Vegetables in School Ground” was conducted for students to promote practical learning and awareness about SDG 2: Zero Hunger. The Students actively participated in preparing the soil, sowing seeds such as spinach, tomato, and coriander, and watering the plants regularly. Teachers guided them about plant care, use of basic farming tools, and the importance of nutrition. The activity helped students gain hands-on experience in food production and understand the value of self-sustainability and healthy eating habits. Students also developed responsibility, teamwork, and awareness about reducing hunger through growing food. Overall, the activity made learning practical and meaningful, connecting classroom knowledge with real life application.

VKV Rishabhdev Organized One-Day Summer Camp for Parents

A One-Day Summer Camp for parents was successfully organized in the school on 9th May evening with great enthusiasm, excitement, and active participation. The event commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by the Principal, marking the graceful inauguration of the program. This was followed by an oath-taking ceremony in which parents participated wholeheartedly with sincerity and commitment. The program then moved into an energetic Zumba dance session, where parents enthusiastically joined in and enjoyed every moment. The vibrant atmosphere was filled with joy, energy, and positivity.

After the Zumba session, a variety of fun-filled games and engaging activities were conducted for the parents. These activities created moments of laughter, enjoyment, and togetherness, encouraging everyone to participate with great spirit.

The highlight and most heart-warming segment of the event was the grand ramp walk by the parents. Parents confidently walked the ramp with elegance, style, and enthusiasm, making the event lively and memorable. Their cheerful participation truly became the soul of the entire program. To add more excitement and enjoyment, different stalls were also arranged for the parents. These stalls enhanced the charm of the summer camp and were appreciated by all participants. Overall, the One-Day Summer Camp proved to be a grand success. The well-planned activities provided

parents with a wonderful opportunity to relax, participate, and create unforgettable memories, while also strengthening the bond between the school and parents.

VKV Rishabhdev Conducted Fire Safety Awareness and Mock Drill

On June 27, 2026, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev organised a Fire Safety Awareness and Mock Drill for its teaching staff. Conducted by fire safety professionals from RSWM Ltd., the session covered essential fire precautions, extinguisher types, and the PASS technique (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep). Teachers gained hands-on experience through a live demonstration, practising operating extinguishers on a controlled fire. The workshop significantly enhanced staff preparedness and confidence, reinforcing the school’s commitment to a safe learning environment.

VKV Rishabhdev Conducted Summer Camp

A Summer Camp was organised from May 9 to 16 to provide students with a joyful, creative, and learning-oriented experience beyond the regular classroom. The camp focused on developing students’ creativity, communication skills, teamwork, confidence, practical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities through a variety of engaging activities. During the camp, students participated in Short Film Making & Documentary, Non-Fire Cooking, Photography Walk & Editing, Podcast, Debate Café, Junk to Genius Lab, Mime & Silent Acting, Mini Business – Sell Handmade Items, DIY Science Hacks, and Sports Activities.

The activities encouraged students to explore their interests, work collaboratively, express their ideas, and learn through practical experiences. Students actively participated in making creative products, experimenting with science, preparing food without fire, capturing and editing photographs, presenting their views, and developing entrepreneurial skills through the Mini Business activity. The camp provided a balanced combination of creativity, life skills, technology, communication, innovation, entrepreneurship, and physical activities, making the learning experience enjoyable and meaningful for the students.
