Ringas: Melange Challenger Cup Cricket Tournament 2021

During the Melange Challenger Cricket Tournament, 2021, three league matches were organised from 6^th to 8^th February, 2021 on a very professional developed cricket ground at Kharigram unit. Four teams of Kharigram, BSL, Mandpam and Ringas played their matches with full sportsman spirit in the presence of seniors, staff & their family members. All players enjoyed the venue of Kharigram and appreciated the development of this new lush green cricket playground. The in-house crowd enjoyed all matches with a buzz of loud cheers and iconic songs etc. and showed support to all the cricket teams and players.

Ringas: Volleyball Match between Staff & Workers

RSWM-Ringas has organized a Volleyball match between staff and workers from 14^th to 18^th March, 2021. All the officers, Staff and Workmen’s witnessed the match every day and encouraged the team members. After the finals, Shri Anurag Mathur, COO congratulated the winning team and encouraged the other teams who performed fairly well during the matches.

Kharigram: Inter Unit Melange Cricket Tournament

During the Melange Challenger Inter Unit Cricket Tournament, 2020-21, two league matches on 7^th Feb, 2021 were organised on a very professionally developed in-house cricket ground at Kharigram. The team of Kharigram, Ringas, BSL and Mandpam played their matches with full of sportsman spirit in the presence of seniors, staff & the family members of Kharigram. Sh Rajeev Jain, Business Head and Sh N.K. Bahedia, COO started the match with a toss. All players enjoyed the beautiful venue of Kharigram and appreciated the maintenance of this lush green cricket playground. The in-house crowd enjoyed all matches with a buzz of loud cheers, iconic songs etc. and showed support to all cricket players.

Kharigram: Sports Day

In order to encourage healthy atmosphere amongst all workers, Annual Sports Day was organised in the Raj Spin Shramik Colony. Sh N.K. Bahedia, COO along with Sh Manoj Sharma, CHRO, Sh Vinod Mehta, VP-CCD and all HOD’s inaugurated this programme. Volleyball, Kabaddi, Race and many more games were organised and workers participated in all events with great zeal and sportsman spirit. In the closing ceremony Sh N.K. Bahedia along with all senior staff motivated to all the workers in his address that winner or loser doesn’t matter, the purpose is to stay fit & healthy and refresh ourselves time to time. He also appreciated for organizing such events. The event ended with prizes distribution and dinner.

Kharigram: Campus Interviews for RSWM Units

With a philosophy and vision of RSWM Group to include young and dynamic freshers in our team and further developing & nurturing them in all respect to be a part in our main stream, the Campus Interview under guidance of Corporate HR conducted in prestigious colleges for textile Graduates. A panel of HR & technical team visited at MLVTEC, Bhilwara, NITRA Ghaziabad, DKTE, Ichalkaranji, GCTI, Kanpur, TIT Bhiwani, NIT, Jalandhar, IICT, Bhadoi. The Campus Interviews followed by Written Test, Group Discussion & face to face round and total 36 Textile Graduates selected for all Group Units.

Kharigram: Women’s Day Celebration

The Staff members and all female workers of Kharigram unit celebrated International Women’s Day with a commitment to boost women empowerment ahead. Shri N.K. Bahedia, Chief Operating Officer in his address, emphasized about women leadership in different sectors and appreciated active participation, good performance with higher attendance rate of lady workers at Kharigram unit. During this program, female workers who have completed more than 8 years, were awarded as a token of appreciation.

Mandpam: Visit of M/s RICHA Global

Mr. Caul from M/s RICHA Global, Delhi visited Mandpam unit on 16^th March, 2021. He was welcomed by our plant's team with gratitude. Apart from a team's meeting, they visited our plant's facilities and appreciated the overall infrastructure and manufacturing process. 

Mandpam: New Shade Book Launch

A new Melange Shade book was launched by Sh. Ashwani Mittal (Dy. BH) on the occasion of Staff get together at New Year celebration. Everyone appreciated and congratulated on this new feat.

Mandpam: Melange Challenger Cup Cricket Tournament

The “Melange Challenger Cup Cricket Tournament 2021” was organized by Mandpam units from 6^th to 14^th February, 2021.

The league matches were held at three locations i.e., Banswara, Kharigram and Bhilwara and total 7 teams in two groups participated in the tournament. In the Final Match played at Sukhadiya Stadium, Bhilwara on dated 14^th Feb 2021 between RSWM Mandpam and BMD Banswara, RSWM Mandpam team defeated BMD Banswara team in a thrilling & interesting match and lifted the Tournament Trophy 2^nd time.

The tournament throughout was well organized by Shri S.P. Yadav, Sh. Pankaj Khandelwal and organization committees under the able guidance of Shri Ashwani Mittal (Dy. BH) and the participating teams appreciated all arrangements made by them.

In the words of Shri Ashwani Mittal, the tournament was an earnest effort to integrate people working at our different units and create an environment of cohesiveness among them, apart from providing motivation and a platform to perform exceedingly well to achieve the goals collectively. He also hoped that other units would take lead in organizing such tournaments within the group in future.   

Mandpam: Rajasthan's Health Minister Visit

Shri Raghu Sharma (Health Minister – Government of Rajasthan) visited the Mandpam unit on dated 20^th January, 2021. Shri Ashwani Mittal (Dy. BH) welcomed him with a beautiful bouquet.

Rishabhdev: Ganeshji Mandir Patotsav

Patotsav of Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh ji was celebrated at Rishabhdev on 25^th February, 2021. The programme started with puja and archana in the morning by learned Pandit team from Khadagda in which the COO with spouse was the Yajman. The staff along with family members performed the Hawankriya and prayed for the blessings of Ganesh ji Maharaj for the prosperity of the unit and its employees. The Puja ended with Hawan and Purnahuti followed by prasad distribution to all. 

Kanyakheri: Distribution of KADHA

To upkeep the strong immune system of all staff members of Kanyakheri unit, regular distribution of KADHA was organised by HR department. This would helps to keep our workers and staff's immunity and make them strong against the change of weather and COVID-19.

Kanyakheri: Inauguration Recreational/Entertainment Room for Workers

To encourage employee engagement activities, a Recreational/Entertainment room for workers was inaugurated at Kanyakheri unit inside worker's hostel by our COO, Shri Vinit Agarwal. All the workers were really excited with this new approach of the management.

LNJ Denim: Bhoomi Poojan

On 16^th January, 2021 a Bhoomi Poojan was done for our new Project of Sheet Dyeing at LNJ Denim, Mordi unit. On this occasion, Pooja was performed by Shri Vinod Pathak. All the staff members were invited for pooja and everybody was excited & happy for having new project of Sheet Dyeing in Denim Plant. With this new project, our production capacity would also be increased.

LNJ Denim: Visit of RCBC Group & B Lal Fabrics Pvt Ltd

On 8^th February, 2021, Shri Dhanraj Vora (Nanubhai) from RCBC Group, Mumbai had visited our unit. RCBC Group is one of the leading businesses in the Readymade Garments. Shri Suketu Shah - Business Head & Shri Ashish Bhatnagar – Marketing Head welcomed him and were taken through the Denim facility to get him understand the entire Denim process.

Similarly, two more customer Shri Chetan Lal & Shri Ashok Kumar from B Lal Fabrics Pvt Ltd, Delhi and Shri Rohit Chabara from Nathuram Lr & Company, Delhi had also visited the Denim Unit in January & February Month.

All clients appreciated the facility and denim products. They were very impressed by seeing various new products and appreciated the working environment of the unit.

Lodha: 25 Years Service Certificate

The HR deptartment organised a felicitation program for the staff and workers who have completed their 25 years services at RSWM, Lodha. On this occasion, Mr. Sukesh Sharma appreciated their long association with RSWM and honoured them with a Shawl and Appreciation Certificate. During the program, all Core Team members were present and congratulated all of them.

Lodha: Dr. Sanjib Patra & Team Visit

Mr. Sanjib Patra and team visited Lodha for a video shoot on RSWM documentary film. They took interview of Shri Sukesh Sharma (Chief Operating officer), Core Team members and some senior workers also. They appreciated the maintenance of campus, its cleanliness, greenery and beauty of the Orchard area.

Lodha: Melanger Cup Cricket Tournament 2021

Cricket is a very popular game in India and for employee engagement activity, it’s a very great initiative which is taken by LNJ Group by organising Cricket tournament.

Melange challenger cricket tournament 2020-21 started from 6^th February to 8^th February 2021 were organised by Lodha team for Banswara location. At the opening ceremony, Shri Sanjay Sharma (COO), BMD inaugurated the program. Team Lodha, TPP, and BMD played their matches with full sportsmanship. The in-house crowed enjoyed all the matches with a buzz of loud cheers iconic songs etc. LODHA & BMD teams qualified for semi-final match for "MELANGE CHALLENGER CUP CRICKET TOURNAMENT-2021. The tournament was well organized by RSWM LODHA Staff Club and everyone appreciated their efforts. 

Maral: Cricket Match

In continuation to FIT India Movement running across the country, Maral, Noida organised the Cricket matches and Badmintion matches among employees. The motto behind this initiative was "Khelega India to Badhega India".

BMD: Melange Challenger Cricket Tournament Runner-up

BMD Mordi welcomed & honored their Cricket team who won the Runner-up trophy in "MELANGE CHALLENGER CUP CRICKET TOURNAMENT-2021" held at Bhilwara.

S.K. Bhandari, VP (Technical), Pankaj Gupta, (Sr.GM-Commercial) K.M. Arun (GM-Technical),  Manish Swamy, (GM-HR) also expressed thanks & honour to Captain Navdeep Phogat and players for their outstanding performance in the Tournament.

BMD: Saraswati Poojan

Devi Saraswati Pujan was performed in BMD Mordi plant on 19^th February, 2021. On this occasion, Goddess Saraswati Pujan Bhajan - Kirtan and Cultural program was also organized.

Monica Dave presented a Bhajan “O Sharad Ma” during the programme. The Saraswati Pujan was performed by Sunita Tharad, Hemlata Gupta and Sarita Swamy. Children took active participation in the program through cultural programs & songs, poetry and dance. It was ended with prasad distribution by the Mill administration to all.

BMD: Volleyball Court Inauguration

Shri Sanjay Sharma (COO-BMD) has inaugurated newly built Volley Ball ground at BMD Mordi on 11.02.2021. Shri Suketu Shah (Business Head-Denim) & Sanjay Kumar Shah (Dy.COO-TPP) were also witnessed the programme. Shri S.K. Bhandari, Pankaj Gupta, K.M.  Arun, Manish Swami Navdeep Phogat, D.K. Raka, Jayesh Patel, etc. were present on the occasion. A friendly volley ball match was also conducted between 3 teams of BMD and team”BMD King” won the match. The program was conducted by Gopal Pandya.

BSL: HIV/AIDS Control Awareness Program cum HIV Rapid Testing

The Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society (RSACS) and their team has conducted HIV and AIDS awareness program 18^th – 19^th March, 2021 in BSL plant with an aim to encourage people and following contents have been covered during such program by training experts Shri Harsh Agrawal (RSACS) and their team by live presentation & video clips.

• What are HIV and AIDS?
• How HIV is transmitted to others.
• To take action to reduce the transmission of HIV by promoting prevention strategies; and
• To ensure that people living with HIV can participate fully in the life of the community, free from stigma and discrimination. 

Aids awareness is an important policy to incorporate into workplace and our society. In this regards, BSL Management is also taken initiative to organizing this awareness programme to our workforces covering to all workplaces of various units.

Total nos. of 161 personnel (Staffs & Workmen) have taken active participation in this awareness/Training program from various workplaces/divisions.

After every session HIV Rapid test also organised for interested participants/public.

Shri HP Mathur (Associate Vice President-HR & IR), Shri. Ram Dayal Jat (Sr.Manager-HR & Admin) , Shri Mahesh Sharma (Sr. Manager-Personnel) and Shri Ram Milan Singh (Manager-Safety) has taken active initiative to organising this awareness programme at site.
