VKV-Rishabhdev: Global Lights Out Movement

Our school participated in the world's largest grassroots movement for the environment that is 'Global Lights Out Movement' to give importance towards world environment and electricity conservation by lighting off in our houses for one hour from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm on 27th March, 2021.

On this occasion, Principal Mr. D. K. Gupta informed that this programme is organised by the WFF every year, where citizens are encouraged to raise their voices to save nature & cooperate in a green sustainable development and healthy creation of our Earth. The principal, teachers and students promised to discharge their important role in preserving our beautiful nature.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Investiture Ceremony

Delegation of responsibility and giving authority to children is important as it teaches them lifelong skills of being powerful and caring at the same time making them best citizen.

The new office bearers of our school sworn in on virtual platform on 10th January, 2021. The principal Mr. D.K. Gupta presided over the function as the chief guest. 44 students were appointed as the school leaders, sworn the Oath of duty and secrecy. The students pledged to uphold the dignity and traditions of the school. Praneet Trivedi head boy, Naincy Jain head girl, Kaushal kalal vice head boy and Nehal Jain Vice head girl and captain of all the four houses, discipline captains, sports captains, house prefects were appointed.

The principal congratulated the newly appointed School cabinet members for their preparedness to take up the responsibilities.

VKV-Rishabhdev: National Youth Day Celebration

Vivekananda Jayanti was virtually celebrated in our school on 12, January, 2021. A programme filled with outstanding performances depicting incidents from Vivekananda's life enlighted the elated students. The enthralling performances by the students through song, recitation and documentary film helped everyone to know about swamiji's power of concentration and focus his curious nature and his determination.

The principal Mr. D.K. Gupta and COO of RSWM Ltd. Mr. K.B. Khatod garlanded the picture of Swami ji. On the occasion of National Youth Day Mr. K.B. Khatod released our quarterly magazine 'Inspire' and congratulated our principal sir and all the teachers.

Public awareness cycle rally was also organised by our scouts and guides. They emphasized on wearing masks and prevent pollution.

On the same day in the evening we have arranged an online workshop Career Counselling and Stream selection for the students of classes 9 to 11. It was very informative and interactive session. Resource person was Mr. Piyush Zaveria from Pacific university Udaipur. All the factors affecting the choice of the students were addressed. The students interacted very well with him and asked questions on educational environment and success tips to be simply followed by students in future. It was indeed a share worthy experience.

A fancy dress competition was held for classes nursery to 5th and creative slogan writing competition was also held for 6th to 11th classes.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Makar Sankranti Celebration

Makar Sankranti was celebrated in our school on 13th January, 2021. As every year it is celebrated as Sports Day, this year also we celebrated with same vigour and enthusiasm. The students were not among us physically so we arranged some educational games for teachers. The students witnessed virtually. They were given information regarding the festival Makar Sankranti.

VKV-Rishabhdev: National Girl Child Day

National Girl Child Day was celebrated virtually on 24th January, 2021 to create awareness and address the issues related to girl child in society and promote the idea of girl's empowerment.

All pledged together to stop gender discrimination and the students performed a variety of programs. They gave some tips for self defence as well. The poems were recited by Liza Kothari and Janshi Jain, mimes were presented by Rashi Jain, Diya Kothari and Hiya Trivedi. The program was conducted by Nehal Jain.

VKV-Rishabhdev: National Voters' Day

In order to encourage our young voters to take part in political process, National Voters' Day was celebrated on 25th January, 2021, in our school. Slogan and Drawing competitions were held and the students of class 11th participated in it. On this occasion, our principal sir awared the students about importance of voting and told about election policies and how it is important for our nation building.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Bird Festival Udaipur

Wildlife Conservation Department Udaipur, Rajasthan organised bird festival Udaipur 2021, in which many competitions were organised such as Spot Painting, Quiz etc. It’s our proud moment that our school also got chance to participate in it. Mansi Pandya from class Xl got second position in Spot Painting Competition and was felicitated with trophy and certificate. Total 21 schools participated in it with great spirit.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Republic Day Celebration

72nd Republic Day was celebrated with a lot of fanfare and grandeur at our school. The programme began with the hoisting of national flag by the chief guest Mr. K.B. Kathod COO of RSWM, Ltd. Rishabhdev at 9 a.m. The teachers sang the national anthem immediately after the flag hoisting. A patriotic song was sung by the teachers. This documentary was shown to the students in their virtual celebration. There was not any lack of joy and enthusiasm among students during this pandemic too. They presented variety of beautiful programme. A song was sung by Hiya Bhandari, Hindi speech was delivered by Diya Kothari and English speech by Ragya Jain, a poem by Tanuj Chaudhary and a dance with skating by Alisha Jain.

The program was conducted by Yukti Jain and Himadri Joshi and it was full of patriotism. Our principal appreciated the students for their wonderful performance. Really it was successful and memorable event for all.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Basant Panchami

School admissions opened on 16-02-2021 on the occasion of Basant Panchami for class Nursery. The school gave advantage of special fee and blessings of Goddess Saraswati ji. The Admission process was also opened for other classes too. The all new students were welcomed with Kumkum ceremony.

VKV-Rishabhdev: National Road Safety Month Celebration

Public Awareness Rally was organized by the students of our school under National Road Safety Month. The students made aware about traffic rules, emergency services and road safety rules etc. Pamplets and booklets were distributed to the people and the students were given an Oath to follow or obey road safety rules.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Birth Anniversary of Robert Baden Powell

The birth anniversary of Robert Baden Powell, founder of Scouts was celebrated by our scouts and guides on 22nd February, 2021. They were introduced with the life history of him. A Drawing competition was also organized on this ocassion. It was great to watch that scouts and guides were arranging Water and seeds for the birds.

VVV-Maral: Chess Tournament

An Inter Schools Chess Tournament has been organized under the banner of LNJ Group on 24th January, 2021. All four schools of LNJ Group had participated in the competition. Vivekanand Vidya Vihar provided an opportunity to the students to highlight their talent. Students have also been encouraged to compete at various Inter School Chess Competitions to showcase their talents and win laurels for the school.

VVV-Maral: COVID-19 Science Project

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Vivekians believe, creativity and connection will help us heal and grow stronger through this. To give the message for staying connected and healthy, Ms. Sushree Simran from Vivekanand Vidya Vihar rounded up a Scrapbook under the guidance of Mr. Sawan Jaiswal TGT Science. The scrap book, which can be referred by any one at any time, compiles following precautions about COVID -19.

  • Avoid unuseful outgoing                           
  • Have a healthy diet to increase the immunity power.
VVV-Maral: Math Lab Activity

Students should be able to communicate Mathematical ideas, reasoning and to examine different problem-solving strategies. Critical reflection in mathematics helps students gain insight into their strengths and weaknesses as learners and to appreciate the value of errors as powerful motivators to enhance learning and understanding. At our School Maths Lab, Group Activity had been planned and executed fruitfully with the outcome to learn and understand the Mathematical formulas and to apply those  formulas into different fields as calculation of Area, Volume, Curved Surface Area of 3D Shapes etc.

VVV-Maral: Student's Analysis

During this pandemic situation, examinations were conducted through Online mode. To analyse the performance of students a graphical analysis report was prepared that became very helpful in figuring out  which section is strong and which is weak, student wise. Question wise analysis also helped the  teacher to assess which topic needed more emphasis for particular student.

VVV-Maral: Alumni Glory

The magnificent building of the Vivekanand Vidya Vihar stands with stoic dignity amidst the lush green atmosphere. This majestic mansion is the temple of knowledge which is remembered with pride and dignity for it's remarkable performance. Alumni glory re-established and exhibited the strong foundation this school has been providing in education since 27 years.

The ex-students, placed prominently in various fields of work like –Defence, Public Services, Medicine, Engineering, Research, Space Science, Corporate Management, Finance etc. have come together and formed an Alumni association, committing to encourage, support and nurture existing students and strengthen their Alma Mater.

VVV-Maral: Primary Students Evening Classes

During this pandemic time when the children were unable to come to school, education turned into online mode. The teachers realized that now the children need extra love, care, guidance and support. Besides the day classes, an evening classes on virtual platform and enhanced English reading, speaking and writing through Play Way methods, were conducted. Children and parents appreciated the efforts and accountability towards educational progress of their children.

VVV-Maral: Flag Making Online Workshop

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar came up with Online Workshops – Making National Flag and National Symbols by palm painting for the students of Nursery to II and kept them engaged with instilling national pride in them Many children joined this workshop with their parents and watched a short story to know more about Republic Day. It was an enjoyable and memorable session.

VVV-Maral: Republic Day Celebration

Vivekians celebrated 72nd Republic Day with great patriotic fervour. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the tricolour by Shri. S N Goyal, President of Maral Overseas Limited. The celebration included thought, speeches on the history and importance of Republic Day and on Constitutional Rights & Duties, and a patriotic dance. The Chief Guest in his address appraised the gathering, of the fact that all students and the younger generation need to understand how they have to live life in future and exhorted the parent audience, to give time to their children & talk to them about the Science and Space channelizing their tender minds towards what is right and ethical. He appraised parents about the fact that the school is taking initiative to acquaint and enlighten students about the New Normal Life style and it’s precautions.

It was also the time to applaud and reward the students for their sincere efforts during the previous academic session. The school honoured all it's achievers for having attained a sterling record both in scholastic and co-scholastic domain.

VVV-Maral: National Finance Quiz

To participate in National Finance Quiz was a golden opportunity for the students of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar to test their financial quotient and knowledge. They all had put their best efforts in both the chances and improved their knowledge in basic financial management techniques.

VVV-Maral: Cotton Tales Painting

Mast. Yatharth Kushwah of class- VII showcased his valuable talent by making a powerful satire and deserved place for his creation in a Business News Letter – “Cotton Tales”. It was a great achievement for him and the school management congratulated on this feat.

VKV-Hurda: Swami Vivekananda Jayanti

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda celebrated 12th January as National Youth Day to honor the ideals of Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary. The program began by lighting the lamp by our principal Asha Bhatia.

Many students presented inspiring thoughts and quotes of Swami Vivekananda to instill positive attitude and to develop creative and innovative potential of young minds.

Even our primary sections participated in the celebration of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti with full enthusiasm. Our blooming buds students of classes LKG to SECOND sent their videos dressed up as Swami Vivekananda and reciting his quotes.

Students of classes 3rd to 5th sent inspiring slogans/quotes of Swami Vivekananda beautifully hand written on WhatsApp. Students of classes 6th to 8th participated in essay writing/poems related to ideas of Swami Vivekananda. Though, the whole program was virtual, it was interesting and captivating.

VKV-Hurda: Peace Club Meeting

A programme was conducted on Swami Vivekananda Jayanti by Peace Club. It was organised by the members of peace club on zoom application. Leading the group, Mr. Ashok Kumar Dubey started with the primary aim of sensitizing the participants about the philosophies, principles and ideals of Swami Vivekananda. The participants were motivated to be good citizens of India and contribute towards the development of new India.

There was an active participation from the students of peace club. Kirti Tater and Siddhi Jain through their speeches enlightened the participants about the role and importance of youth in the process of nation building. Swami ji had taught the youth to get out of their comfort zone and achieve anything they desire. He is still the torch bearer of peace and humanity.

Kanak Jain and Aditi Shrotriya told stories from Vivekananda's life to inspire all the students.

VKV-Hurda: Republic Day Celebration

The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated at VKV with flag hoisting ceremony done by Principal Smt. Asha Bhatia. It was followed by the patriotic song sung by Sri Neeraj Tiwari.

VKV-Hurda: SOHA Exhibition

Under the aegis of BSG (Bharat Soka Gakkai) an exhibition SOHA (Seeds of the Hope & Action) was conducted for the first time in India at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda on 22nd & 23rd Feb, 2021. In this exhibition, students from classes VIII to XI participated and were made aware of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

The Environmental crisis across the globe such as deteriorating earth conditions were discussed at length and how this can be regained by the active participation by each one of us was also mentioned. Students also took some determinants and motivated others. Approximately 400 students and teachers attended this exhibition.

VKV-Hurda: Virtual Alumni Meet

A virtual Alumni Meet was organized on February 27, 2021 at 6.30 pm initiated by Manoj Rathi (Batch 1994) and Nitin Jain (Batch 2006). The meeting was chaired by Sri Anilji Batra Sir, Sri Raghunandanji Sir, Smt. Asha Goyal, Smt. Vasantha T, Sri Avdesh Sharma (Ex. PGT – Physics), Sri Nakul Sharma (Ex. PTI), Smt. Vinod Sharma (Ex. English Teachers), Smt. Seema Sharma (Ex. Social Sc. Teacher). There were 128 participants in this virtual meet. It started from the very first batch of VKV – Hurda that is from 1977 Sri Shekhar Chhajed presently working with Mercedes Benz (Germany) and Dr. Sangeeta Lodha practicing Gynecologist at Jodhpur. The Alumni were very much eager and enthusiastic to meet with their classmates.

Principal Smt. Asha Goyal addressed and interacted with the Alumni and shared the agenda of this virtual meet and also invited the Alumni to come forward and share their views/ suggestions how they can contribute to their alma mater in making it 21st century progressive school.

Many innovative ideas and applicable suggestions were given by the Alumni. The meeting started at 6.30 pm and continued till 10.00 pm with a decision to conduct one more meeting on March 6, 2021 at 5.30 pm, so that the process of implementation of the Alumni organization can be planned in a proper manner.

Graphite School: Republic Day Celebration

Junior Wing celebrated Republic day with pious zeal and true patriotism. The Preparatory classes made tri-colour kites and displayed them virtually with patriotic pride. I & II grade children pasted the pictures of freedom fighters and shared the clicks with the teacher. III & IV grade children pasted the pictures of the freedom fighters and wrote the slogan given by them. They made a video while speaking the slogan. Class V children made a video of recital of a patriotic song or poem. Grade VI to VIII Wrote slogans on Republic Day, made posters on freedom fighters and delivered two minutes speech on ‘The Prominence of Republic Day’ & ‘Why do we celebrate Republic Day?’ Secondary section acknowledged their presence by NCC drill & parade on the occasion. Principal, Dr. Vinita Mishra hoisted the flag and delivered an invoking speech.

Graphite School: Adventures Activities with YHAI

The Graphite School is the life time member of Youth Hostel Association of India. In joint collaboration of Graphite school, and Mandideep unit of YHAI, one day local track was organized on 7th February 2021. Also, a local cycling trek was organized on 21st February for the students, staff and parents of Graphite School. In both the activities more than 150 students, staff & parents have participated and enjoyed the adventurous trip of Narsingharh local trek on hills. 

Graphite School: Slan Go Foil - Farewell

The Graphite family gathered to bid adieu to the outgoing class XII batch 2020-21on 20th February2021. The ED, HEG, Mr. Manish Gulati wished them a super luck and inspired to believe on their strengths. Principal, Dr. Vinita Mishra blessed the children for their upcoming board exams and their future ventures. The host class XI grade arranged various games and a jovial skit for their seniors. It was a day of mixed emotions for everyone to witness the official send-off for the class XII students. Mr. Graphite and Ms. Graphite were awarded to Dhruv Maran and Pooja Verma. The main attraction was the ramp – walk for the most coveted titles - Mr. Eve and Ms. Eve which was awarded to Saksham Jain and Muskan Jain .The students of XII also turned nostalgic and shared their memorable experiences. Mementoes were given to them as a token of blessing and luck.

Graphite School: Alumni Meet 2021

The Graphite School organized its Alumni Meet for the students of last 12 years having 12th class batches. The event was graced by the ex-teachers and dignitaries. Various playful games, dances and songs were the main attraction of the day. All turned nostalgic and shared their memorable anecdotes of their alma mater in an emotional overtone. Souvenirs were given to the old students and teachers for their contribution in providing the higher altitudes to their alma mater.

Graphite School: Awards & Achievements

The Graphitians earned many awards & achievements and brought laurels to the school. Mast. Ayush Tiwari of batch 2018-19 cleared CA Inter, Mast. Honey Sahu of batch 2019-20 cleared CS - EET and Ku. Rachna Tiwari of batch 2016-17 cleared CS Executive. The school management wished all of them on this feat and prayed for their success.
