ADHPL : Solar lights Installed

ADHPL installed 20 solar street lights at various blind spots in villages Shuru and Prini of Gram Panchayat, Prini from February 06 – 11, 2023. The street lights will benefit the community at large. The Pradhan and the ward members of the panchayat expressed their gratitude for the CSR initiative of ADHPL.

ADHPL : Scholarships given

As part of its continuous efforts to boost education, scholarships for brilliant and needy students of 9th to 12th classes and some technical courses were given away by ADHPL. 151 students applied for the scholarship in FY 2022-23. After scrutinizing the applications and in-person interviews, 52 students qualified for the scholarships. An amount of Rs. 1.09M was distributed through cheques among the successful students of the Kullu Manali region. The scholarship policy of ADHPL is being appreciated from all quarters.

ADHPL : Computers and printers donated to Govt. Schools

ADHPL donated two printers to Govt. Senior Secondary School, Bran on February 24, 2023. In addition to this, one computer with UPS was donated to Govt. Senior Secondary School, Goshal-Bahang, Manali (HP) on January 24, 2023.

The equipment will be used for the educational purpose of children studying in the respective schools and will boost the educational facility. The principal and staff thanked ADHPL for facilitating the schools with the valuable equipment.

MPCL : Health Checkup

 MPCL on 5th March 2023 conducted a free medical general health checkup camp at Dhara village, Kullu, HP.  A total of 151 registrations including children were recorded during the camp. Medicines prescribed by the camp doctors were also provided on free of cost basis. 

MPCL : Plantation Drive

MPCL on 9th  March 2023 carried out a plantation drive at Phalati village, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. The theme for this year was “Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature". For this drive, total of 500 plants of Cedrus deodara were planted there with the help of villagers & panchayat members.

HEG: Inauguration of Kitchen

As part of its CSR activities, HEG Ltd. has invested a total of Rs. 12 crores to develop this automated kitchen. For this, HEG Ltd. has formed a joint venture with the Akshaya Patra Foundation to produce 50,000 meals per day for school children.

The program was virtually inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, and top-level management, including the Hon'ble Chairman Emeritus Shri LN Jhunjhunwala Ji, Hon'ble CMD Shri Ravi Jhunjhunwala Ji, Hon'ble ED Shri Manish Gulati Ji, and dignitaries from the Akshaya Patra Foundation were present.

HEG: Apna Ghar Ashram

HEG Ltd constructed an ashram for the homeless people in Bhopal. It received a warm response and the ashram is now running with an enhanced capacity of 120 Prabhu Ji, which was earlier to house 50 Prabhu Ji. We had rescued 367 Prabhu Ji till now and rehabilitated 98 of them. 

Reunion of Dheerendra Tiwari after 3 years with the family

On 9^th April, 2023 a missing person was united with his family by Apna Ghar Ashram, Bhopal. According to Dheerendra Tiwari’s family, he was missing for 3 years and the family searched for him everywhere but were unable to find him.

Dheerendra was rescued on 22^nd Jan 2023, he was mentally sick and was unable to share any information about himself. After receiving treatment and counseling he was able to share about himself and his family members, he shared details of his address from Kanpur city of UP, thus Ashram was able to locate his family. His brother in Law Mr. Sadhan Lal Awasthi came to our Ashram and Dheerendra was reunited with the family.

HEG: Food for Education

Classroom hunger affects children’s ability to learn and grow. To solve this challenge, HEG Ltd along with Akshaya Patra Foundation began the Food for Education initiative which is continuously making an effort to enable children from over 22,367 schools in India.

With the help of Akshay Patra, HEG Limited has started this project in Bhopal. The inauguration of Akshay Patra Mega Kitchen By Hon Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan was done on 25-Jan-2023. Kitchen Started Serving Mid-Day Meal to Government Schools and Madrass. Total 842 numbers of Schools and Madrassa (Primary Section + Middle Section) for the MDM program are served with an enrollment of approx. 48000 students. Till March 23 16.5 Lacs Mid-day meals are served.

HEG: Global Vikas Trust

HEG Ltd along with Global Vikas Trust is on a mission of Global Parli to transform India by increasing farmer incomes .Global Vikas Trust is a not-for-profit organization which in the past few years has been able to empower 16,000+ farmers from 14 districts in Maharashtra and 12 districts in Madhya Pradesh. This has been possible by creating a mass movement for farmers around the nation. So far GVT has planted more than 3.27 crore fruit trees.

RSWM Rishabhdev : Inauguration of Pyavu

On the auspicious occasion of Ramnavami, on 30th March, 23 RSWM, Rishabhdev Staff Club opened a Pyavu outside the Main gate, on National Highway. The inauguration of this was done by Shri K B Khatod, COO at 5.00 PM. Every year during the summer season Pyavu is open for three months ie. April, May, and June. A large number of people including mill workers and outsiders are benefited from this activity of the Staff Club.
