LNJ Denim: Inditex Social Audit

LNJ Denim unit went through Inditex Social audit on 8^th January, 2019. Shri Vivek Jha & team audited the systems and processes of the entire unit for two days and certification continues after successful completion of the audit. It was supported by HODs and their respective teams for successful conduct of the audit. 

LNJ Denim: “Interdepartmental Workers Volleyball Tournament"

Volleyball Tournament for workers was organized in the month of January & February, 2019. Shri Piyush Chandarana - COO inaugurated the tournament on 16th  January, 2019. All the workers were very excited about the tournament and department wise team participated in it. The final match held between Spinning and Inspection & QA Lab Department’s team on 4th February, 2019. In a neck to neck contest, Inspection & QA Lab Team won the tournament. Shri Suketu Shah – Business Head & Shri Piyush Chandarana - COO expressed their views on value of games in our life. The prizes were distributed to winners and runner ups.

LNJ Denim: National Safety Day

LNJ Denim celebrated 48th National Safety Day on 04^th March,2019, It was started with safety oath in the morning followed by exhibition on safety equipment’s. All staff & Workers took part in this celebration.

It was celebrated with great enthusiasm. It created awareness among the people about how to get prevented from the industrial accidents by exhibiting widespread safety awareness programs in the company. While addressing to employees, Shri Piyush Chandarana - Chief Operating Officer emphasized on the need for safety for all workers & asserted during bike riding, handling of mobile phone, many accident happened in recent period.

On this Occasion, an exhibition on Personnel Protective Equipment was organized by the Safety Team, Where use of Fire extinguishers and other PPE’s was demonstrated.

LNJ Denim: Movie Show at Nakshatra Mall

Walt Disney once said “Movies can and do have tremendous influence in shaping young lives in the realm of entertainment towards the ideals and objectives of normal adulthood.” Change is the nature of life, as we always wants some entertainment & fun in this busy life. For Entertaining Staff we had organized Movie Shows  "LUKA CHUPI" at Nakshatra Mall, Banswara ON 06^th March, 2019. Staff members had enjoyed this movie. Light snacks were also arranged.

LNJ Denim: Melange Challenger Cup Cricket Tournament 2019

Cricket is a very popular game in India and for employee engagement activity, it’s a very great initiative which is taken by LNJ Group by organising Cricket tournament.

It was a very long journey to win the wonderful moment for Denim Plant so far in RSWM Group. The Final match had been scheduled at Bhilwara between Denim Plant & BSL Plant on 03^rd March, 2019. Every one of Denim unit was so excited to attend & to win this at any cost. A lot of ups & down during the match. Denim’s players had played very nicely with a great support & hooting/cheered by Denim Staff & other team members. At the end we secured the Runner up position in the tournament.

Melange challenger cup cricket tournament was successfully organized by the Organizing committee (Melange Team). Here we captured some of the wonderful moment of this game which can’t be forgettable.

Rishabhdev: Sports Day

The staff club, Rishabhdev organized a one day sports event for staff and their families on 26^th January, 2019. Various events like 100 Mtr. Race, Spoon Race, Shotput, Needle & Thread race, etc. were organised for Gents, Ladies and Children separately. All the staff members with their families enjoyed the day by participating in various events and games. The celebration comes to an end with a delicious dinner for all.

Rishabhdev: National Safety Day

The National Safety day was celebrated at RSWM Rishabhdev on 4^th March, 2019. The function was inaugurated by Shri K B Khatod, COO. While addressing the employees, he stressed the need for spreading the message of `Safety First’ among all the workmen and to follow all safety precautions/measures strictly for avoiding any unwanted incident. Safety & Fire equipments were displayed there and a mock drill was conducted by security personnel to tackle the emergency situations.

Rishabhdev: Executive Health Checkup

'Healthy people are the assets of any organization' and by following this philosophy, RSWM Rishahdev unit organized a health check up camp for senior officers in February, 2019. The whole body check up comprising of ECG, Eye test, Chest X-ray, Sonography, Lipid profile, Thyroid test, TMT, etc. were done at Fortis J.K. Hospital, Udaipur. This health check up camp was well appreciated by all the employees.

Rishabhdev: Visit of Wazir Advisors

A three member team from Wazir Advisors Pvt.Ltd. visited Rishabhdev unit to conduct the Gap Analysis study so as to improve the quality and productivity of the Unit.  The team conducted the study from 27^th February to 1^st March, 2019. After completing the study, they briefed their observations, pending a detailed report in a joint meeting with the plant team.

Rishabhdev: Pariwar Milan Programme

Pariwar Milan – a family get together of staff and workers was held at the residence of Shri Lalu Ram, Checker at village Makarjappa on 28^th Feburary, 2019. The COO and staff with their family members enthusiastically participated in this picnic. The team from Wazir Advisors who came for Gap Analysis study also participated in the programme. After an informal talk with the Checker and his family members, food brought by the staff was served to all and everybody enjoyed the programme.

Rishabhdev: Volleyball Match for Staff

RSWM Rishabhdev Staff Club organized a Volleyball match for staff in March, 2019 in which three teams played the matches. All the officers and staff witnessed the match everyday and encouraged the team members. After the finals, Shri K B Khatod, COO congratulated the winning team and encouraged the other teams who performed fairly well during the matches. The Rolling Trophy was handed over to the winning team by the COO. 

Lodha: New Year Sneh Milan

On 2^nd January, 2019, “New Year Welcome Program” was organised at Mayur Nagar campus. All the local dignitaries, District Administration, Trade Associates, Politicians and prominent citizens of Banswara town attended this program. The function started at 8 ‘O’ Clock in the presence of Shri Prakash Maheshwari, Shri Rajeev Jain & Shri Suketu Shah. The event was decorated by beautiful Rangolis, while a melodious musical team entertained the guests throughout the evening. Shri Sukesh Sharma COO (Lodha) welcomed the guests with gratitude.

The ‘Sneh Milan’ program was attended by all the senior officers of LNJ Bhilwara Group and their families with great passion.

Lodha: Annual Games and Sports for Workmen

The workmen games & sports events for the year 2019 was inaugurated by Shri Sukesh Sharma, COO (Lodha). In his opening speech he expressed his views on value of games in our life. During the event total 12 teams participated in Volley Ball, Kabaddi and Tug of war. The Female hand ball competition was enjoyed by all. At the end of the event prizes were distributed to winners and runner-ups.  

Lodha: National Safety Day

The safety day celebration started with safety oath in Morning Prayer and exhibition of Safety Posters & Safety Equipment’s in Rest Room. Shri A.P Jain, head of safety committee, presented his annual report in front of staff and senior officials. Shri R.K Dixit –GM (P&A) addressed the staff and workmen on safety habits which are necessary at the work place to avoid the accidents.

The program was conducted by Shri Dilip Singh and the safety rules and regulations were given by Shri Satyendra Singh, Safety officer at Lodha unit.

Lodha: Khata Master Tour to Jaisalmer

Two Long tours, summarizing historical knowledge, were organised for khata masters to provide much relief from daily humdrum and giving insight to take the life in new way. All the Khata masters enjoyed and appreciated this memorable tour to Jaisalmer.

Lodha: 8th Inter Unit Volleyball Tournament

The 8^th inter unit Volley Ball Tournament organised by Lodha Banswara Team. The events took place from 15th March to 17th March 2019. Finally, ADHPL got the winner's trophy and BSL Bhilwara was declared as the runner up. Total 10 teams of group units participated in it.

The main coordinator of the program Shri Ashok Sodani gave his heart felt thank to all participants and organiser for their whole hearty participation and efforts in this event.

RSWM: Opening of Mayur Outlet

Mayur Suitings have recently opened one more exclusive brand outlet (EBO) at Garhi, Partapur, Distt. Banswara, Rajasthan. Everyone on this ocassion was really happy with one more feather in the cap and a step towards the success.

Maral: National Safety Week 2019

On the occasion of 48th National Safety Day (The Foundation Day of NSC), Safety awareness campaign was organized at Maral Overseas Ltd (Sarovar Plant) from 4^th March to 11^th March 2019. Different types of activities organized to create awareness among the employees.

On the closing ceremony on 11th March, Safety Officer Mr. Rameshwar Jha reminded the Oath of Safety. Shri DK Mittal (President-MOL) addressed the employees and appealed everyone to follow safety norms by noticing near miss incidents and unsafe conditions of work place. Mr. Rajkumar Gite (Sr. GM-HR/ADMN) reminded various unsafe acts which would be targeted to prevent in the coming year.

The Safety workshops, mock drills, training programmes and Different types of other motivational activities like safety quiz, safety slogan, and safety painting were the part of this campaign. The winners of various competitions were awarded on the closing day ceremony.   

HEG: National Safety Day

The National Safety Day was observed at HEG Limited on 4^th March 2019 with great enthusiasm and zeal. The celebration was followed by various activities like PPE’s Exhibition, Demonstration of Vehicle Safety Device, Behaviour based Safety Training Programme and Mock Drill at LNJ Plant.

TPP: National Safety Day

The 48^th National Safety Day was celebrated on March 4^th, 2019 at TPP RSWM Limited, Mordi. The programme was organized to create safety awareness among the employees of Power division. On this occasion competitions on “Safety Slogan”, “Safety Poster”, “Safety Essay” & “Safety Poem” were organized among the plant employees.

The event commenced with Lighting of lamp & oath taking ceremony conducted by Dy. COO, Shri Sanjay Kr Shah.  After the declaration of winners, prizes were distributed by Dy.COO, Shri Sanjay Kr Shah, Head Commercial, DGM Shri Mamtesh Jain. The programme was coordinated by Head - Safety, Shri B.S. Bhati. All the senior officers of the plant and staff members were also present during the entire event.

Kharigram: Visit of M/s FCBL, Bangladesh

On 6^th February, 2019, a team of M/s FCBL, Bangladesh visited our plant. Sh V.R. Joshi,Chief Operating Officer and Sh Sandeep Rohilla-DGM-NPD welcomed the delegation. The visit started from Unit SJ-11 and concluded at NPD. They were very much impressed by seeing the large variety of new products. They were overwhelmed with praising “Always look like new things to achieve, we believe RSWM in this a Legend”.

Kharigram: Visit of M/s Tachikasku Textile, Russia

On 8^th February, 2019, a team of M/s Tachikasku Textile,Russia visited our SJ-11 plant. Shri V.R. Joshi, Chief Operating Officer and Shri B.K Verma-DGM welcomed the delegation. They were very much impressed with the state of art technology as well as our product developments ranges and put their remarks “Perfect Unit!!, We have seen a lot of mills but it’s really the best.”

Kharigram: National Safety Week

The 48^th National Safety week started on 4^th March, 2019, was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and involvement of all concerned which was continued till 10t March-18.This activity made valuable contribution to cultivate safety culture among the work force & to integrate safety in their day to day activity. The Safety Oath was taken by all workmen and staff members.

The Safety badges distributed to all employees. Exhibition of PPE’s, Fire & Safety equipments, Safety training programme for contract workers, drivers Safety based various, competitions were conducted. Sh V.R.Joshi-COO summoned up to all employees to keep the learnings to ensure “Zero Accident” .

Kharigram: Health Checkup Camp

A Multi-Speciality Health Check-up Camp organized in Staff Club Premises at Kharigram on 4^th January, 2019. Sh V.R. Joshi,COO inaugurated this health camp along with Nursing Staff from Fortis Hospital, Udaipur conducted this camp. The specialist of Neurology, Orthopaedic, Eye, Gynaecology, and Cardiology were available in this camp to check our staff and their family members. A special health talk session was also organised specially for Ladies and girls by very Senior Gynaecology Lady Doctor. All family and staff members liked and availed medical consultancy from this camp.

Kharigram: Sports Day at Raj Spin Shramik Colony

In order to encourage healthy atmosphere amongst all workers, Annual Sports Day was organised in the Raj Spin Shramik Colony. Volleyball, Kabaddi, Race and many more games were organised and workers participated in all events with great zeal and sportsman spirit. In the closing ceremony Shri V.R. Joshi, COO motivated to all the workers in his address to stay fit , he also appreciated for organizing such events. The event ended with prizes distribution and delicious dinner.

Kharigram: Inter Unit Cricket Tournament

During the Melange Challenger Cricket Tournament, 2018-19, four league matches were organised from 27^th  - 28 ^th  February, 2019 on a very professional developed cricket ground at Kharigram unit. Four teams of Kharigram, Rishabhdev, Mandpam and BSL played their matches with full sportsman spirit in the presence of seniors, staff & their family members. All players enjoyed the venue of Kharigram and appreciated the development of this new lush green cricket playground. The in-house crowd enjoyed all matches with a buzz of loud cheers and iconic songs etc. and showed support to all the cricket teams and players.

Kharigram: LNJ Bhilwara Group's 7th Inter Unit Table Tennis Championship

Inter Unit Table Tennis Championship- 2019 was organized on 8^th - 9^th February, 2019 at Kharigram. Shri B.M. Sharma – Joint Managing Director inaugurated this event. The whole event went off well and total 13 Teams participated in this championship with full with total commitment and sportsman spirit. The nice gesture was exhibited by all team members during these two days with overwhelming appreciation for the way Championship was organized and also the facilities and arrangements provided.

The following teams had participated in the said championship with total number of 45 players.

It was like a festive event at Kharigram unit which continued for two days and everyone enjoyed the championship with full enthusiasm.

Kharigram: Women’s Day Celebration

International Women’s Day was celebrated with a commitment to boost the women empowerment ahead. Staff members and all female workers celebrated this day. Ladies Staff Club members in the leadership of Smt. Bindu Joshi were also present in this celebration. Shri V.R.Joshi-COO enlightened about women leadership in different sectors and appreciated active participation, good performance with higher attendance rate of lady workers of Kharigram Unit. Smt. Bindu Joshi emphasized a Gender equality and motivated them to increase earning hands in their family. During the celebration Folk Dances, Skit, Speech & Poem were presented by female workers and Ladies Staff Club members.

ADHPL: Road Safety Week

The 30^th Road Safety Week was celebrated from 4^th  to 10^th February, 2019. During the week, different HSE trainings were imparted to drivers, heavy machinery operators and other ADHPL staff/workers. The aim of celebrating road safety week was to make staff aware about safe driving. The theme of Road Safety Week 2019 was “Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha”. In the closing ceremony of road safety week, a speech was delivered by Sh. Pankaj Kapoor AVP O&M.

ADHPL: National Safety Week

The 48^th National Safety Week was celebrated from 4^th to 10^th March, 2019 at ADHPL. This year the theme of National Safety Week 2019, was “Cultivate and sustain safety culture for building nation”. Safety pledge was taken after flag hoisting by Mr. Pankaj Kapoor and repeated by everyone. Mr. SK Chehal and Mr. Pankaj Kapoor also addressed the participants and advised to promote safety culture in our organization. They emphasized that, we have attained highest standard of safety but, we have to sustain it. Mr. S.K. Chehal also emphasized to give our contribution for best safety culture with slogan “ SAFETY FIRST”. The Safety Pledge was also taken in Transmission Line office Bhuntar & Sunder Nagar with HSE awareness trainings.

Throughout the week various awareness trainings on HSE were imparted to employees & workers. During closing ceremony the CEO’s message on National Safety Day/Week was read by Mr. RK Khaitan. Many employees were felicitated for filling RUOs & their importance.

Ringas: Excursion Tour to Gujarat

The RSWM – Spinning Staff Club, Ringas had organized an excursion tour programme to Gujarat for 240 family members in January & February 2019. During excursion trip Srinath Ji, Rishabhdev, Ahmedabad, Somnath, Diu, GirForst, Dwarika, Porbandaer places were covered.

It was a refreshing moment for the employees in a 8-day trip for all 3 batches of staff & their family members in peaceful surroundings. During the tour, delicious meals and fun activities left everybody feeling highly enthused. The journey of both the sides to the tour was also filled with games, activities full of fun with all the comfortable arrangements. The trip ended with most memorable event and everyone enjoyed to the fullest.

Ringas: MD’s Visit

On 5^th March, 2019, The Managing Director, Shri Riju Jhunjhunuwala visited Ringas unit along with Business Head Shri Rajeev Jain. They together took the round at the Plant sites and inspected each and every aspects of the plant.

After the plant visit, the Chairman Municipality, Ringas, Local dignitaries and office bearers of INTUC welcomed Shri Riju Jhunjhunuwala and expressed their sincere thanks for providing the direct and indirect employment in the area and also for the contribution of RSWM Ltd in local trade and economy.

Ringas: Group Energy Conservation Cell

The Group Energy Conservation Cell (GECC) meeting was held on 05.02.2019 at RSWM Limited, Ringas (Spinning) unit. The Representatives from Kharigram, Lodha, Rishabdev, RPSF, Fabric, Denim, Mandpam, BSL, TPP, Ringas and Shri R.B. Sinha (CE M/s Energy Audit Services) were present in the meeting.

Shri Avinash Bhargava, Dy. Chief Operating Officer of Ringas unit explained about identified potential areas to reduce energy consumption in Ringas unit. Shri K B Khatod explained the need for energy conservation, area wise breakup and itsrelevance to EnMS ISO 50001 certificate and suggested to identify potential areas for energy conservation in consultation with process team & maintenance team.

Shri Subhash Tiwari, DGM (Engineering) Ringas-Spinning concluded the meeting with a vote of thanks.

Ringas: Visit of SBI Bank Officer’s

A Team of Senior Officers from State Bank of India headed by Dy. General Manager has visited at Ringas plant on 2^nd March, 2019.  The team was welcomed by Shri Avinash Bhargava - Dy. COO and senior officials of Ringas unit.  They appreciated the housekeeping, technology and product range of the plant during their visit and congratulated the plant's team for their tremendous work.

Mandpam: Trip to Statue of Unity

A day trip to Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest monument of Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel, at Vadodara, Gujarat was organised by Mandpam & Kanyakheri Staff Club for staff and their family members during the month of January-February, 2019 in different batches. All visiting members enjoyed the sightseeing, valley of flowers, museum, sardar sarovar dam and laser-light and sound show. 

Mandpam: National Safety Week

RSWM Melange celebrated National Safety Week from 4^th to 10^th March, 2019. On the National Safety Day (4^th March), Mr. Anil Kumar Bishnoi (Executive – Fire & Safety) narrated about the values of the safety in plant premises. This activity makes valuable contribution to cultivate safety culture among the workforce & to ensure safety in their day to day activity at workplace.

Mandpam: Melange Challenger Cup Cricket Tournament 2019

The “Melange Challenger Cup Cricket Tournament - 2019” was organized by RSWM Melange unit from 15^th February, 2019 to 03^th March, 2019. The league matches were held at three locations i.e., Banswara, Kharigram and Bhilwara and total 10 teams in two groups participated in the tournament. The Final Match was played at Sukhadiya Stadium, Bhilwara on 3^rd March, 2019 between RSWM Denim and BSL division. The BSL team defeated RSWM Denim team in a thrilling & interesting match and was awarded Trophy by Syt. Arun Churiwal Ji.

The tournament throughout was well organized by Shri Ashwani Mittal, Shri S.P. Yadav and organization committees under the able guidance of Shri S C Garg and  the participating teams appreciated all  arrangements made for the tournament.

In the words of Shri S C Garg, the tournament was an earnest effort to integrate people working at our different units and create an environment of cohesiveness among them, apart from providing motivation and a platform to perform exceedingly well to achieve the goals collectively. He also hoped that other units would take lead in organizing such tournaments within the group in future.                       

BMD: National Safety Week

Safety week has been celebrated in the BMD campus from 4^th to 9^th March, 2019. Employees took oath to follow all safety norms at working place as well as in their personal life too. During the safety week awareness training on safety at work place, operation of fire equipment’s, proper uses of PPE’s and first aid operation has been provided to the employees. We have received overwhelming response from employees on Safety slogan competition & Safety Kaizen competition which was organized during the week. The winners of the competition were facilitated. Post that, a special session on road safety was also organized at BMD campus.

BMD: Sports Tournament for Workers

BMD organized Sports week for our workers from 23^rd to 28^th January, 2019 in which sports activities like Volley Ball, Athletics events - 100 mtr, 200 mtr, Lemonrace (Female), Javeline Throw, Tug of War etc. was the main attraction. All categories of workers (male & female) participated with full enthusiasm. The winners of the different events were awarded by Mr. C.K. Tharad and Mr. S.K. Bhandari. They also motivated the workers to involve sports activity in their daily routine to keep themselves healthy and fit.
