HO: CMD's Welcome
On 16th December 2020, our Chairman & Managing Director, Shri Riju Jhunjhunwala returned to office after his crucial spine injury. All were delighted to have him back among us. On behalf of all the staff members and the management, a warm welcome was organised by welcoming him with bouquet and all extended their heartfelt best wishes for his speedy health recovery. On this fine day, we at HO had also distributed Face Masks and Denim Bags to all our staff members, security guards and facility staff to make this day a memorable one.
HEG: Communication Meeting of ED
Communication meeting was conducted by our ED Shri Manish Gulati on 16th November, 2020. The program was designed to make our workers aware about the current scenario of the company, the impact of pandemic on the global market & roadmap to overcome the same. Shri Manish Gulati encouraged and appreciated everyone who contributed during the time of lockdown to normalize the plant activities and for doing their level best in these trying times. The meeting then, followed by a question answer round.
Rishabhdev: Energy Conservation Week
The GECC celebrated the Energy Conservation week in all the Units of RSWM and BSL. With this, RSWM Rishabhdev celebrated National Energy Conservation Day as a one week programme starting from 8th December, 2020. The COO and Chief Coordinator of GECC, Shri KB Khatod, in the inaugural session, attended by officers and staff, made people aware about the importance and value of Energy and how to reduce unnecessary or unwanted use of energy. Appreciation message from the JMD has been read by Shri M S Manilal, DGM (Pesonnel & HR).

Through posters, banners and documentary film, the importance of energy saving was explained by Shri Anil Dalawat, GM-Engineering to the staff and workers attended in various groups. Posters and slogans were displayed at various places. The seven days programme ended on 14th December, 2020 on the National Energy Conservation Day. The Engineering team with the cooperation of all made full effort to make the programme a memorable one.
The RECA has given two awards First and Second for Energy Conservation in Textiles given to our Two units, First to Ringas unit and Second to Kharigram unit respectively.
Kharigram: Blood Donation Camp
On 17th Oct’20, the occasion of Birthday of Syt LNJ Babu, a blood donation camp was organised in the Staff Club. Shri Rajeev Jain, Business Head and Shri N K Bahedia, COO inaugurated the Camp and welcomed the Doctors & Medical Team (Ramsnehi Hospital & Research Centre, Bhilwara). All workers and staff members participated enthusiastically in this Camp and donated 60 units blood.
Kharigram: Energy Conservation Week
In view of creating awareness among people to Save Energy, the Energy Conservation Week was celebrated from 8th to 14th Dec, 2020 at Kharigram unit. This celebration went off full of events and activities like Distribution of Energy Conservation Badges & Templates to all staff, LPG Saving & Safety templates to Staff Colony residents, Exhibition of Energy Conservation Posters, Webinar Presentation by different experts panelled in Beauro of Energy Efficiency, Various Internal training programmes for Workmen, Energy Saving Suggestion, Poster and Slogan Competition for Children of Staff Colony. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted at the end of this week and prizes were given by Sh N.K.Bahedia, COO and he encouraged all to save the energy and conducting this kind of program periodically.
Kharigram: Camp for KYC Documents Updation
Due to covid-19 pandemic, many of our employees were facing difficulties in outside movements especially in crowded offices/areas. For this purpose, a camp was organized in the staff club premises for all types of updation in personal/govt. documents. Many employees and their family members got benefited through this camp.
Kharigram: Dhwaj Yatra to Baadi Mata Ji Temple
During the holy festival of Navratra, the Dhwaj Yatra of Maa Durga started from Mill Campus to Badi Mataji Temple with Bhajan and Kirtans at 11.00 AM on 18th October, 2020. A grand pooja was performed by Shri Rajeev Jain, Business Head and Shri N.K.Bahdeia, COO along with Union President Mohd. Iliyas, other Union Representatives, Sr. Officials and Workers.
Kharigram: Suggestion Scheme - Abhivyakti
With an encouraging environment and awareness created by Unit Coordinators and under guidance of respective COOs, the Suggestion Scheme has been led to successful completion of six months. This program is being facilitated by Sh. Vinod Purohit (CTS Cell) under leadership of Sh. Ashwini Mittal (Dy. BH). Since then employees of all units are participating in this drive with full enthusiasm and positivity, resulting average 650 suggestions are being received on monthly basis from all units.
In this program, all Units are giving instant consolation prize and a letter of appreciation to all suggestion givers, while best 5 suggestions gets quarterly prize. Through this drive, employees are not only motivated, even Units are sharing and implementing best suggestions and get benefitted in terms of tangible and intangible gains. In last quarter the best 5 suggestions were received from Sh. Hari Kumar (Fabric), Sh. Devendra Tank (Lodha), Sh. Jai Singh Poonia (RCPF), Sh Gopal Lal Sharma and Sh Nilesh Kumar (Mandpam).
Banswara: Energy Conservation Campaign
Energy Conservation Campaign started from 8th -14th Dec. 2020 at Lodha Unit. During this period, Awareness programs were conducted on each day and given awareness training to all staff & workman to save energy and stop unwanted use of resources. Shri Rajesh Kumar Agarwal (GM- Engineering) shared the message received from JMD & BH. On 14th Dec 2020 program were concluded and vote of thanks given to all team members for their efforts.
Mandpam: SA 8000:2014 Renewal Audit
The Mandpam unit SA 8000:2014 renewal audit done by BSI Auditor Mr. Sahil Kukreja & Mr. Vivek Jha from 8th to 10th October, 2020. The management representative-Mr. Pritam Gurjar, was ably supported by all HODs and their respective teams to conduct the audit successfully. The Certification is continued after audit clearance.
Mandpam: Inditex Audit
The Mandpam unit went through audit done by Inditex Auditor Mr. Jitendra Sharma, Mr. Himangshu Choudhaty & Mr. Prasanna Sabato on dated 20th November 2020. The Management Representative Mr. Pritam Gurjar, was ably supported by all HODs and their respective teams to conduct the audit successfully.
Mandpam: Inauguration of New Modular Kitchen
The inauguration of new Modular Kitchen was done by Shri Ashwani Mittal, Dy. Business Head on 2nd October, 2020 at New Workers Mess in Mandpam Unit. After the ceremony, all staff members had lunch in the newly constructed worker mess with much enthusiasm.
Mandpam: Energy Conservation Week
RSWM Melange celebrated Energy Conservation Week starting from 8th to 14th December, 2020. Mr. B.K. Singhal, (Sr.G.M.- Engg.) inaugurated the programme & Mr. Sunil Kumar (Dy. Manager – Engg.) narrated about the values of Energy Conservation. This activity makes valuable contribution among employees to ensure energy saving in their day to day activity at workplace.
LNJ Denim: Surveillance GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS Audit
LNJ Denim Unit went through Surveillance GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS Audit on 09th Oct, 2020. Control Union auditors Shri Akshay Shastri & Shri Mangesh Kanwate audited the systems and processes of the entire unit and certification continues after successful completion of the audit. Shri Akshay & Mangesh focused on all major aspects of Social Accountability, Process of Internal Audit, Risk Assessment, and Compliances etc. It was supported by HODs and their respective teams for successful conduct of the audit.
LNJ Denim: Surveillance Fire & Safety Audit
LNJ Denim & Fabric Division went through Surveillance Fire & Safety Audit from 21st to 22nd October, 2020. External auditors Shri R. R. Yadav & Shri M. S. Rathore from M/s Apex Quality Certification Services Pvt. Ltd, Jaipur audited the systems and processes of the entire unit for two days
Shri R. R. Yadav & Shri M. S. Rathore focused on all major aspects of Fire & Safety management, Fire and Explosion prevention, protection and emergency management, Work injury prevention, Health hazards control, Process of Internal Audit, Risk Assessment, and Compliances etc.
During Audit, COVID-19 & current situation was also discussed to outbreak as a pandemic and reiterated the call for countries to take immediate actions and scale up response to treat, detect and reduce transmission to save people’s lives. For overcome this situation the action initiated by our group was also made aware them. It was supported by HODs and their respective teams for successful conduct of the audit.
LNJ Denim: Levi's Social and Environmental Audit
LNJ Denim Unit went through Levis social & environmental audit from 26th to 28th October, 2020. Levi's CR 360 2016 Data Checklist Verification done by BV auditor Shri Anil Chaudhary. He had audited the systems and processes of the entire unit for three days and certification continues after successful completion of the audit. It was supported by HODs and their respective teams for successful conduct of the audit.
LNJ Denim: JMD Visit
On 29th October, 2020 our JMD, Shri B M Sharma visited our Denim & Fabric unit. Shri Suketu Shah - Business Head welcomed him and were taken through the Denim & Fabric facility to get him understand the entire Denim & Fabric process.
During his visit, he visited both the units and inspected the machines. Next day, a meeting was also organized with core team members of LNJ Denim & Fabric Division unit at VIP Guest house with refreshment. Shri B M Sharmaji interacted with all the core team members and motivated them & he had fulfilled our long awaited wish in Denim & Fabric Division where each & every core team members were very happy with their happy smile.
LNJ Denim & Fabric: Energy Conservation Week
Energy Conservation is Energy Generation, LNJ Denim & Fabric Division unit had celebrated the Energy conservation week from 08th to 14th December, 2020, Shri Suketu Shah had inaugurated the celebration week on 08th December, 2020 at Spinning Conference hall with all staff member of Denim & Fabric Division. He asserted that there are many ways to save the energy in our daily routine life not in company but also at our home also. During the celebration the speech note of our JMD Shri B M Sharma was also read in which he explained it very beautifully about our group activities on energy conservation from last five years.
During this week every staff members & workers were taught about the energy conservation & how we can utilize it in best manner.
In closing meeting on 14th December, 2020 a Message from Shri Rajeev Jain, Business Head - Yarn Business on Energy conservation day was also read & conveyed it to all about the best practices of Energy Saving.
Ringas: Energy Conservation Week
An awareness cum training session on Energy conservation was conducted at Ringas unit from 08th to 14th December, 2020. All HOD’s, Managers, Staff Members and other employees attended the programme. The topics covered were Energy Consumption, Efficiency, Energy Objective and Target, Do’s and Dont’s, Monitoring, Measurement and Analysis etc. The opening of Energy Conservation week was inaugurated by Shri Anurag Mathur - Chief Operating Officer. We also distributed award to the employees for the best speech on energy conservation. Shri Santosh Garg was the facilitator of the programme.
Ringas (RPSF): Energy Conservation Week
Energy Conservation Week celebrated from 08th to 14th December, 2020 At RPSF Div. (Ringas). During this week, Engineering Department set up a stall to bring awareness on Energy Savings among Colleagues and Worker. They also provide training on Energy Conservations and organized Speech competition.
At the end of the week, Shri M.K. Yogi, COO highlighted the importance of conserving energy in daily life and gave a message to make energy conservation an integral part of every citizens life. He also appealed to raise awareness about energy conservation for benefits of our plant and society.
Ringas: Fire Drill Sessions
To spread the awareness among staff and workmen, two mock drills were conducted on 25th Oct, 2020 and 25th Nov, 2020 on both Dry and Wet Drill. Shri Deepak Verma, Safety Officer conducted this drill and he explained about the process of safety in emergency situations.
ADHPL: COVID-19 Screening Camps Organised
In order to check against the spread of COVID-19, mass screenings of employees was conducted on 12.12.2020, 26.12.2020 and 31.12.2020 and 41, 68 and 16 employees respectively were screened in the camps taking the total number of employees tested till date to 182. The mass screening was planned for timely tracing of the active cases of COVID 19 and further management. The COVID 19 tests (RT PCR and RAT) were organised by ADHPL Health Department in coordination with the State Health Department. Now the ADHPL Health Department will be conducting the COVID 19 tests (RAT) at their own facility.
ADHPL: Fire Audit
A couple of fire incidents were reported from different parts of the country in the last quarter and accordingly the ADHPL Management took a decision to conduct the fire audit of whole plant by a third party to look into the adequacy of fire safety systems installed at our plant, sites and further strengthen it accordingly. An audit of fire fighting system installed at ADHPL Power House, offices and sites was conducted by third party from October 12-15, 2020.
The main aim of the subject was fire & life loss, prevention and safety. The objective of it was to audit Power House and different sites of the plant for gap analysis for comparing it with existing standards being followed at ADHPL and international standard. In the audit, various areas were visited by the team and all HSE and fire safety documents were also checked.
BSL: Inauguration of New Main Gate
After the completion of the construction, the new BSL main gate was inaugurated by the President Shri Praveen Jain on 23rd December, 2020. On this opening ceremony, Shri HP Mathur (Associated Vice President-HR & Admin), Shri MS Khiria (Vice President-Marketing),Shri Arun Shraff (Vice President-Furnishing) , Shri Ram Dayal Jat ( Sr.Manager-HR & Admin) and others departmental officers / workers gave active participation in the function.After the completion of the construction, the new BSL main gate was inaugurated by the President Shri Praveen Jain on 23rd December, 2020.

BSL: Energy Conservation Day
Like every year, this year too, BSL Mandpam celebrated Energy Conservation Day on 14th December, 2020. In this regard, various Energy Conservation Awareness program to make employees and workers aware of energy conservation sessions were held. Shri Manoj Garg (General Manager-Engineering) and Safety Manager Shri Ram Milan Singh explained everyone about the importance of energy saving and energy efficient equipments which we are taking in use at home & industry. He also suggested that how can we save more energy by using less energy, accurate meaning of energy conservation and how a energy saving in daily life can change our future.
Maral-Noida: Cricket Match
Maral Noida organised a Cricket Match in between Maral - Unit MA and Unit 3 to deliver a ‘winning proposition’. It was a corporate intent to align with the sports ecosystem with the new ‘Fit India Movement’ launched. Through these initiatives only India can become the nation of healthy person, healthy family and healthy society.”
