HEG: Annual Sports Day

The HEG Annual Sports Day was held on 25^th December 2019 inside the premises and many employees took part in the same with much enthusiasm. It was organised for those incredible moments where sheer human will & desire to overcomes the odds and these are the moments which we remember for longtime. The event was well organised and appreciated by all.

LNJ Denim: Inter Unit Carrom, Chess & Badminton Tournament

The 3^rd Inter Unit Carrom & Chess Tournment was held at Rishabhdev on 11^th to 12^th October, 2019. Our Denim Chess Team (Mr. Kundan Kumar Jha & Mr. Rajan Pandya)  were the Winners & On Individual level Mr. Rajan Pandya was the runner up in this Tournament.

Badminton is also one of the popular and well known sport in India, HEG Ltd Mandideep has organized Badminton Tournament from 23^rd and 24^th October 2019. Our Denim Badminton (Double Team – Mr. Payre Lal & Mr. Narendra Dosi) team participated in the tournament & was the Winner.

LNJ Denim: Customer Visit – Levis

Shri Shikin Bhardawaj, Shri Jignesh Bhavsar, Shri Ravi Kumar, Shri Ranjit Maity a team from Levis had visited our plant on 4^th November, 2019. They examined the manufacturing facilities at the unit and complimented the management and executives for maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness and also appreciated the system of manufacturing of Denim Fabric.

LNJ Denim: Surveillance SA 8000 Audit

LNJ Denim Unit went through Surveillance SA8000 Audit from 13^th to 15^th November, 2019. Auditor Shri Mr. Pardeep Chuttani focused on all major aspects of Social Accountability, Roles & Responsibility of SPT Members, Process of Internal Audit, Risk Assessment, and Compliances etc. He audited the systems and processes of the entire unit for three days and certification continues after successful completion of the audit. It was supported by HODs and their respective teams for successful conduct of the audit.

LNJ Denim: Customer Visit

Mr. Sang Hyun Lee & Mr. Seong We Hong. from Daum.net visited our plant on 20^th November, 2019. Shri Suketu Shah - Business Head welcomed them and taken them through the Denim facility to get them understand the entire denim process. The customers appreciated the facility and products of the Denim. They were very impressed by seeing various new products and appreciating the working environment of the plant.

LNJ Denim: Health Check-up Camp

Health is very important for everyone in our life “Health is wealth” any other wealth we own. A strong mind and healthy body makes a complete person. Every Task is important in our life but we forget to maintain our health in our day to day activities. To keep fit and more energetic workforce and driving force one Day Health check up camp was organized on 1^st December, 2019 at Bachelor Hostel, LNJ Nagar Gamdi Colony, Mordi in collaboration with Gayak Hospital, Banswara & Homeopathy Seva Samiti, Banswara. About 50 person were examined & got benefited from this camp. They have covered Routine Health Check-up, & different Body check-up, & test Pathology, lungs, ear audiometric, ECG. etc.

LNJ Denim: "Denimverse" Launching - PV Exhibition”, London

LNJ Denim launched its Spring Summer 2021 collection "Denimverse" during the Denim PV show in London. The show was held on 3^rd and 4^th December 2019 and witnessed great footfall over both the days. The collection comprised of 5 categories – Ecoverse (Sustainable line), Microverse (Technical line), Primaverse (Bestsellers & Core), Formaverse (Dobbies & Structures) and Airoverse (Lightweights line).

LNJ Denim: M3 ERP Go live for Denim & Fabric

On the occasion of M3 ERP Go live for Denim & Mayur, Pooja was organized on 9^th December, 2019 at our Fabric Division Admin Hall which was performed by Shri Suketu Shah along with entire staff members of Mayur & LNJ Denim plant. Initially we faced some issues but later on it got resolved & successfully launched it. M3 Project member team worked really hard to achieve this milestone.  All staff members had attended the poojan. It was a moment where first invoice copy got from M3 Software. High tea & snacks were also arranged. Everybody was so happy for getting new invoice copy from M3.

LNJ Denim: Industrial Visit of MLVTE Students

A group of thirty students from MLVTE, College, Bhilwara visited LNJ Denim unit & Mayur on 28^th December, 2019. Students & teachers were highly impressed to see the plant and campus environment and cleanliness. Shri Piyush Chandarana & Shri Manoj Kumar Jha welcomed the students and introduced them with entire unit and key team functions & the concept of LNJ Denim products & services. The students enjoyed the visit & and learned so many new things during their visit. High tea & Dinner arrangements were also there for the students and teachers.

Mandpam: One Day Picnic

Melange Staff Club organized a one day picnic for the staff to Udaipur, Rajasthan in two batches i.e. on 17^th and 24^th November, 2019. All the staff members with their families enjoyed themselves during this beautiful and mesmerising trip. A delicious breakfast and lunch was also organized for all of them. Everyone was really happy and feeling refreshed with their loved ones during this day outing.

Mandpam: Customer Visit

Mr Harry Siewert (Quality Manager - Wet Processing/ Washing / Fabric & Garments) & Mr Khandaker Washiuzzaman (Rakin) Fabric Specialist of M/s Eurocentra - Bangladesh visited Mandpam unit on 11^th November 2019. They were accompanied by Mr. Sudarshan Samdani (Dy. Manager – Export Marketing) and welcomed by plant's team headed by COO Mr. Ashwani Mittal. They took the round of Mandpam as well as Kanyakheri units and appreciated both the plants for it's technology and safety.

Mandpam: SA 8000:2014 Audit

The Mandpam unit went through SA 8000:2014 audit by BSI Auditor Mr. Pradeep Chuttani & Mrs. Anita Rathaur from 18^th - 21^st December 2019. The Management Representative Mr. Pritam Gurjar, was ably supported by all HODs and their respective teams to conduct the audit successfully. The Certification is continued after successful audit clearance.

Mandpam: Free Health Checkup Camp

A Free Health Check-up Camp was conducted by RSWM, Mandpam Unit on 26^th December, 2019 for our workers, staff and their families. Dr. Rohit Baser Sharma & Team Leader, from Sparsh Hospital, Bhilwara (Raj.) were participated in the Health Check-up Camp. Maximum workers, staff members & their families have availed the said opportunity.

Lodha: Bhilwan Village Tour

On 8^th of November 2019, Shri S K Mittal, Shri R K Dixit, Shri Aditya Sharma, Shri B K Singh, Shri J P Anand, Shri Vikram Singh, Shri Dilip Singh, Shri Kamlesh Singh, Shri Gajendra Singh, Ms Shayama Kunwar, Mrs Neeru and Trainers of RSWM Lodha unit visited village Bhilwan.

 This team had a meeting with local Villagers and Sarpanch regarding below agendas:

• Increased Attendance of workman.
• Increased Recruitment of male.
• Increased Female Recruitment.
• Rejoin left workman.
• Awareness of company facilities.

Rishabhdev: Blood Donation Camp

On 17^th October, on the birth day of Chairman Emeritus L.N. Jhunjhunwala, a blood donation camp was organized at Rishabhdev. A team from Saral Blood Bank, Udaipur conducted the camp. Total 50 employees donated blood for the good cause. The COO along with senior officers were present in the camp and motivated the donors.

Rishabhdev: Quarterly Review Meeting

At Rishabhdev unit, Performance Review meeting was held on 24^th October, 2019 for the quarter July-September, 2019. After seeing the presentation of all department’s  performance, the COO in the concluding session, suggested for working hard for bringing the turnaround as the unit is passing through a very difficult period.

Rishabhdev: SA 8000:2014 Assessment Audit

The Assessment audit of SA 8000:2014 was held on 23^rd & 24^th December, 2019 at Rishabhdev. The BSI auditors Mr. Pradeep Kumar and Mrs. Anita Rathaur successfully conducted the audit with the support of all concerned departments. No major NCs have been raised. Some minor NCs and few suggestions/observations of the Auditors were taken for needful corrections.

Rishabhdev: Staff Volleyball Tournament

The Staff Club, Rishabhdev organized a Volleyball tournament for employees from 16^th to 23^rd November, 2019. The final match was played on 4^th December, 2019 with great sportsman spirit. Out of the four teams participated in the tournament, Team - A won the final match. Shri K B Khatod, COO awarded Rolling trophy to the winning team and congratulated all the participants for playing enthusiastically.  

Rishabhdev: Chess & Carrom Tournament

The 3^rd Group Level Tournament of Chess & Carrom was held at Rishabhdev unit on 11^th & 12^th October, 2019. There were total 69 players participated in the championship from Kharigram, Lodha, BMD, Denim, Fabric, Mandapam, TPP, BSL, Kanyakheri, Ringas, ADHPL & HEG.

HEG Power has won the Carrom Team Championship and RSWM Kharigram was the Runner-up. The Carrom single event won by Shri Vijay Thapa and Shri Ravikant Chorsia was the Runner-up, both from HEG Mandideep. TPP was the winner of Carrom Doubles event and HEG Power was the Runner-up.

The Chess championship won by Denim unit and Kharigram was the Runner-up. Shri Gaurav Saxena of Mandapam was the Champion for Chess single event and Shri Rajan Pandya from Denim was the Runner-up.

Ms. Neelam Lakhara, SDM, Rishabhdev was the Chief Guest during the opening ceremony along with Shri K B Khatod, COO of the unit. Trophies and Meritorious Certificates were distributed to the Winners, Runners-up and consolation prizes to all the participants during the presentation ceremony. 

Rishabhdev: Meeting of Group Maintenance Heads

The Group level maintenance heads meeting was held at Rishabhdev unit on 15^th October, 2019 where members from Kharigram, Ringas, Kanyakheri, Mandapam, Lodha, Denim and Maintenance staff of Rishabhdev participated. Department heads of Engineering, Production, Finishing, QA, Stores-Purchase along with COO of the unit were also present. The Group discussion and presentation of all the units were held and they discussed on various aspects related to their units. 

Rishabhdev: Pariwar Milan Programme

As a part of HR activity, Pariwar milan programme was held on 29^th November, 2019 at the residence of Shri Laxmilal, Autoconer checker at Makadjappa. Again on 23^rd December, 19 the programme was held at the residence of Shri Sohan Lal, LR/60 Checker at Makadjappa. The COO, Sr. Officers and staff with their families went to their house in the village and have interaction with their family members. BIS Auditors who came for SA-8000 audit also participated in the programme and they have appreciated the unit for organizing such unique programme which is a very good tool for reaching out to the workers and their families.

Kharigram: Visit of M/s Martinelli, Italy

On 15^th October, 2019, Mr Stefano and Mrs. Alessandra from M/s Martinelli, Italy visited our plant. Mr. R.K. Soni, DGM QA and Mr. B.K.Verma, DGM-Spinning welcomed them. The visit started with plant round of unit no 1 to SJ-11 and concluded at NPD. After the visit they appreciated the technology and product range, also housekeeping; with good remarks - “Excellent plant, good attention to quality. Very much impressed.”

Kharigram: Visit of M/s FCBL, Bangladesh

On 15^th October, 2019, Mr Bulbul from M/s FCBL, Bangladesh visited our plant. Mr. R. K. Soni, DGM - Quality and Mr Sandeep Rohilla, DGM-NPD welcomed him. He took a full round of our plant and discussed about various developments and products. He was very happy to see our new developments and adherence of quality standard at the shop floor.

Kharigram: Visit of M/s Trutex Limited, UK

On 7^th November, 2019, Ms. Helen Warburton from M/s Trutex Limited, United Kingdom visited our plant. Mr. B.K. Verma, DGM-Spinning and Mr Sandeep Rohilla, DGM-NPD welcomed her. She visited our SJ-11 plant and NPD and was very much impressed to see state of the art technology and automization in plant. Her comments after taking plant tour was "Very Interesting & helpful visit. Went through whole process in detail. Got all answers of my questions.Thanks a lot".

Kharigram: Customer Visit

On 13^th November, 2019, a delegate of 6 person of various countries from M/s IKIA visited our plant. Mr.Rajeev Jain, Business Head (YB) and Mr V.R.Joshi, Chief Operating Officer welcomed the delegate. They visited our SJ-11 plant, NPD and pilot plant which concluded with meeting. Mr. Rajeev Jain,Business Head (YB) briefed about Yarn Business, especially about Fibre Plant through a presentation. He explained about our new product ranges established in International market The delegate appreciated for quality and commitment to deliver the best of RSWM with comments "Impressive Production and thank you for a very professional welcome. Looking for future cooperation.

Kharigram: Bank Consortium Meeting

RSWM's bankers’ consortium meeting was held at Kharigram unit on 23^rd December 2019 in the presence of Shri B.M. Sharma ji, JMD. The meeting was attended by 15 senior officers from 8 consortium member banks. While review, bankers appreciated the Company's efforts to improve top and bottom line. Bankers also visited SJ-11 plant and NPD cell and appreciated the cleanliness and good working conditions of the plant and specialty products developed by NPD cell.

Kharigram: Visit of M/s Tessutica, Romania

Mr. Karl Henderson & Mr. Bernard Nachtergaele from M/s Tessutica, Romania visited Kharigram plant on 12^th December, 2019. Mr V.R. Joshi, Chief Operating Officer welcomed them. The visit started with plant round of unit no 1 to SJ-11 and concluded at NPD. After the visit, they appreciated the technology and product range, also housekeeping; with good remarks - “Congratulations on your well organised and very clean spinning mill. Very Impressive.”

Kharigram: Visit of M/s Leewha SRC, South Korea

Mr.V.K. Shon (MD) Leewha SRC, South Korea visited Kharigram plant on 17^th December, 2019. Mr V.R. Joshi, Chief Operating Officer welcomed him. They took full round of unit no SJ-11 and, unit no 4 & 5. During the visit, he was excited to see the 30 years old machine of Leewha in the unit. After the successful visit, he put remarks - “Wonderful factory for full atomization.

Kharigram: One Day Picnic

RSWM Staff Club-Kharigram organized One Day Picnic at Chittorgarh Fort & Sanwariya Seth Temple in two phases on 24^th November and 8^th December 2019. All the staff members along with their family visited the Historical milestone of Rajasthan Chittorgarh Fort thereafter put their worship at Sanwariya Seth Temple. During this picnic, there was an arrangement of High tea in morning hours and delicious lunch in the noon inside the fort area. Everyone was very happy with this “Grand Frolic Historical and Devout Tour”.

RSWM: 15th International TANBOOCEL Annual Exhibition & Fashion Show, China

An International Exhibition cum Fashion Show was held on 6^th December, 2019 in China. On behalf of RSWM Ltd, Shri Sandeep Rohilla, DGM-NPD, Kharigram and Mr. Hariharan, Commercial Head, Mumbai office participated in this International TANBOOCEL Annual Conference & Exhibition. The top textiles companies from China, US, Europe, Turkey, Iran, Japan, India, Korea, Pakistan, Indonesia etc. also participated in this conference.

RSWM showcased the new products range in the exhibition made with Bamboo Fiber and Blends which was appreciated by all delegates. Mr Sandeep Rohilla presented the RSWM Company profile in the conference and received the “Fashion Creativity Award “for innovation in the Bamboo products.

Ringas: Client's Visit

One of our prestigious Tier 1 customer representative Ms. Helen Arburton (Trutex Ltd. - United Kingdom) along with our Tier 2 customer representative, Mr. Girish Purohit (Tusha Textile Pvt. Ltd.) visited our plant on 06^th November 2019.

On this engagement, Mr. S.P. Jha (Marketing team - LNJ Bhilwara Group) was also present from Mumbai Corporate Office. Ms. Helen Keenly interested to know that “HOW POST-CONSUMER PET BOTTLE COULD BE USED TO MANUFECTURE PSF, YARN AND CLOTH”. Ms. Helen was glad to know after seeing our traceability process practices on GRS products and all other systems which we follow very systematically. The team along with our COO (Sh. M.K. Yogi) visited the plant and he explained manufacturing process and answered all the questions.

They were also very impressed to see cleanliness and well behaved workers attitude and appreciated to all RPSF team. At the time of Good Bye, She remarked good comments in our Visitors Register “Very helpful and useful visit. Answered all my questions & showed the whole process in detail. Thank You!”

Ringas: Prestigious Client Visit

Mr. Bernard N, the representative of our prestigious tier 1 customer known as (Tessutica - Belgium) visited the unit. Mr. MK Yogi, COO welcomed him and explained our manufacturing process, work practices and systems.

He was interested to know about our system certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, EnMS 5001 : 2011), SA8000:2014 and Green Recycle Fibre (GRS Std.-IV) production. The client also noticed our identification and traceability procedure in final products. They highly appreciated our preventive maintenance system and cleanliness.

He along with our COO (Shri M.K. Yogi) visited the plant. Shri Yogi explained manufacturing processes and answered all his queries. At the time of Good Bye, They remarked good comments in our Visitors Register” Nice to be here. We saw the well organised plant.Very Impressed.Congratulations to the team!.”

Ringas: Seminar at Vedanta Girls College

A seminar based on Quality of Life, Ethics and values, National and International Economic scenario etc. was organized at Vedanta Girls College, Ringas on 23^rd November, 2019. In this Seminar, Chief Guest was Joint Managing Director of the Company, Shri B.M. Sharma. The students of Vedanta Girls College has asked various questions related to economy and their life in this seminar on different subjects which were answered by Shri B.M.Sharma.

Shri Avinash Bhargava – Chief Operating Officer who coordinated this occasion had conveyed that God has given us 3 types of opportunities to contribute to the society i.e. Financially, Physically, intellectually & emotionally and as an educated citizen we can and should contribute for Women education and also for upliftment of Society.

Ringas: Staff Get-together

On 9^th November, 2019 a get together program was organised at RSWM – Ringas Campus. Apart from all the Staff Members and their families, the local school dignitaries, prominent citizens of Ringas town attended this program.  

Shri Avinash Bhargava, Chief Operating Officer led the interactive session and delivered motivational speech & highlighted the need of developing good cultures amongst their growing children’s by the parents. The School dignitaries also interacted their view and given their suggestions how to motivate our children for good habits. The function was concluded with delicious dinner and vote of thanks by Shri AVS Yadav, General Manager (P&IR).

Ringas: Rooftop Solar Power Plant

On December 6^th, 2019, in line with the values of the LNJ Bhilwara Group and its commitments to sustainability, RSWM-Ringas has commissioned a state-of-the-art 1.0 MW Rooftop Captive Solar Plant in its premises. The Solar plant is situated entirely within the company's premises and does not use any Government Infrastructure, thus avoiding any interference from government agencies or ad-hoc charges being levied by state bodies. With over 25 years life of the solar plant, the landed cost of power through Solar Plant is well below the IEX, CoGen and Grid, through which yielding material cost savings started from day one. 

Despite working at heights, sloping roofs and during monsoons, the entire project was executed without any safety incidence, thus maintaining RSWM-Ringas impeccable safety track record.

Maral: Tiranga Yatra

On 12^th November 2019, the Staff Club organized a unique event called “Tiranga Yatra” as a tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives bravely for the motherland and for those who are safeguarding the frontiers of our country. The “Tiranga Yatra” marched past in the campus and finished at the Khel Parisar, Maral Sarovar. A glittering ceremony with performance of patriotic songs held on this occasion.

Maral: Volleyball Championship

An Interdepartmental Volleyball Championship “Maral Staff Volleyball Championship (MSVC) 2019 conducted at Maral Sarovar during the first fortnight of December 2019.  The finals of the championship was played on 18^th December 2019 between the teams of Comml/HR/Planning/Admn and Processing/Knitting/CPDD/Fabric QA, in which Comml/HR/Planning/Admn defeated the opponent team in straight sets. Shri S.N. Goyal, President of Maral Overseas Ltd. presented the trophies to the winner and runners’ teams.

Maral: Sports with Fun

A sports event with the theme of “Sports with Fun” was organized at Maral Sarovar on 12^th November, 2019 evening. Different sports activities like 50 mtr, 100 mtr, 200 mtr races for boys, girls as well as for men and women in the age groups up to 50s, Tug of war for men and women etc. were organized. The winners and runners up were awarded with prizes.

Maral: Cricket Championship

Maral Staff Cricket Championship (MSCC) 2019 conducted at Maral Sarovar with great spirit of sportsmanship. Four departmental teams participated in the tournament and the final match of the championship played between the teams of Comml/HR/ Planning/Admn and Processing/Knitting/CPDD/Fabric QA, in which Team Processing/Knitting/CPDD/Fabric QA won the championship. The Man of the match was Mr. Govind Sen and Man of the Series was Mr. Animesh Golwalkar.

BSL: IKEA Global Business Team Visit

The IKEA business team from IOS has visited on 12^th December, 2019 at Weaving Unit-II & Processing Division, Unit-II to check their business standards which have been met/fulfilling by us or not.

The team appreciated the BSL management and the team for maintaining good housekeeping and meeting all their standards. Shri A.K. Mehta (Sr. Vice President-Processing), Shri Arun Shraff (Vice President-Furnishing), Shri H.P. Mathur (Associate Vice President-HR & IR) and All BSL IKEA Team were present along with them during meeting and their plant inspection visit. 

BSL: IMS Audit

The SGS team has audited from 21^st - 26^th October 2019 of BSL systems with an objective to determine conformity of the management system and its ability to ensure applicable statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements are met & effectiveness to ensure the client reasonably expect to achieve specified objectives and to identify as applicable areas for potential improvement.

The SGS Team thoroughly audited each and every department and activities covered QMS, EMS and OHSAS along necessary recommendation & provisions of news Health & Safety Standard ISO45001-2018 and recommended to BSL for continuation of the IMS System.

BSL Management appreciated to take this opportunity to congratulate to all their team on successful completion of Renewal Audit of IMS Certification (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO  45001-2018)  as per revised version. The President & CFO (Shri Praveen Jain ) and the Sr. Vice President (Shri A.K. Mehta ) says that this has become possible with our team spirit, sincere efforts and the contribution made by each and every person for implementing and maintaining IMS System in their respective areas. 

BSL: IKEA Audit

The unannounced annual I-WAY audit of IKEA has been conducted to verify their IWAY compliance to determine conformity of the management & operational system and its ability to ensure applicable statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements are met & Effectiveness to ensure the client reasonably expect to achieve specified objectives and to identify as applicable areas for potential improvement. And secured us around 95% in weaving & around 90% in processing as and confirmed that there are no I-MUST’s & NO-GO’s.

The JMD Syt. Nivedan Churiwal heartily appreciated to IKEA team and says that this is once again quite commendable. He has also congratulated entire IKEA compliance team for their valuable efforts & such results.
