Kanyakheri: 5S Awareness Training Program

A training session & review meeting on 5S was conducted on 22nd April 2022 at RSWM Kaniyakheri unit in presence of all zonal leaders and core team members. This training was given by Shri Pritam Gurjar with the main objective of creating awareness about the use of 5S & its implementation in plant premises.

Kanyakheri: External Training Programme on Team Building & Conflict Management

A training program on team building and conflict Management was organized at Kaniyakheri Unit on 26th May 2022. The main objective was to create awareness of team building and conflict Management among employees. Mr Pankaj Shukla was the faculty for this training programme.

Kharigram: External Training on "Conflict Management and Team Building

Two days workshop on Conflict Management and Team Building was organized at the Kharigram unit from 23rd to 24th May 2022. The workshop was inaugurated by Sh. Manoj Sharma, CHRO, and Sh. N K Bahedia, COO and welcomed to faculty, Dr. Pankaj Shukla, life management guru from Being Capable Organisation Nagpur. A group of 74 staff was covered in two days program. During this workshop various behavioural and together working aspects were covered by theory & practical learnings.

Kharigram: External Training Programme on Managing Wealth

Financial Literacy is important because it equips us with the knowledge and skills we need to manage our wealth effectively. Having basic personal financial skills is one of the most important things, by which people can live a healthy, happy, and secure life.

For this purpose, the HR department conducted a learning session on "Managing Wealth" on 12th April 2022 which was presented by external faculty - Mr Pankaj Sahijwani, Advisors Organization, Pune. Some important financial aspects like- the purpose for investing, financial goals planning and discipline, term plan & tax planning tools, risk mitigation, where not to invest, etc. were covered in this learning program total of 40 staff members got benefited from this program.

Kharigram: Training on Ring Frame Breakage

As a part of the technical skill enhancement of staff members, a training cum awareness session on how to control Ring Frame breakage was organised on 23rd April 2022. Technical Team took this session for all technical officers. They explained about Functioning, Length, Technical faults and their remedies, Naps, etc. During this interactive session, participants also came out to this platform to discuss about their queries, technical issues, etc. which were addressed properly.

Kharigram: Workshop on Quality Circle

A workshop on Quality Circle (QC) was organized on 14th May at the Kharigram unit. During the training session, Sh Vinod Kumar Purohit- CTSC briefed him about QC aspects in running projects at the department/unit level. He also explained about basics, uses of quality concepts, techniques, and their importance. This program was very useful in terms of higher productivity and cost-saving aspects.

Kharigram: Awareness Session HR Policy

The HR Department, Kharigram conducts time-to-time refresher training for staff members to make them aware and update about various policies aspects & give clarity as and where required. In this context, an awareness program on employee benefits & loan policy was conducted on 07th May 2022. A total of 35 staff members got benefited from this program and they were encouraged to organise such awareness sessions periodically.

Kharigram: Mock Drill

To review the emergency preparedness plan of the organization and evaluate standard operating procedure so that concerned persons would deliver their duties effectively, a mock drill was conducted in the ETP area on Fire in the chemical godown on 30th May 2022. A total of 25 employees including security, firemen, staff, and workmen participated, further all employees were educated by Safety Manager, Sh. Dileep Kumar Chourasia about the mobilization of coordinated activities identifying the gaps and getting aware of pre-emptive measures to handle any kind of emergencies like a fire, chemical disaster and emergencies.

Kharigram: Training on Emergency Preparedness at Workplace

The HR Department organised a Safety Awareness program on 24th June 2022, which was presented by Sh Dileep Chourasia, Safety Manager. Engineering, Maintenance, Security, Commercial, and Production department staff attended this program The topics covered - Fire Fighting, Evacuation Plans, Emergency Exits, Assemble Methods, etc. He educated all personnel to follow safety rules and how to respond to different emergencies.

Kharigram: Awareness Session on Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy

An awareness program on Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy was conducted on 05th April 2022 at the Kharigram unit. This program was presented by the TATA AIG team and during this program, all aspects of motor vehicle cashless benefits were covered. A total of 30 staff members got aware of policy aspects, different claims, process steps, etc.

HEG: ERP Basics Training

ERP is critical business software that collects information from various departments in a common database, enabling leaders to monitor the pulse of a company using a single version of reality. It can generate major time and financial savings by providing organization-wide visibility that spotlights inefficient manual processes and reveals growth opportunities.

HEG has adapted ERP for multiple purposes which are helpful and important for the organization. This training was conducted by Mr Amit Singh in Gurukul, Training Center, HEG.

HEG: 90/10 Principle Training

"90/10 Principle of Stephen Covey”: This is an incredibly simple and amazing concept. You can apply it in every level of your life whether personal, Professional, Business or Anywhere. Consider the various situations in Life we can implement this concept and all we need to do is - Give it a try!

This Training was focused on the reactions towards different hectic situations. The objective of the training was to be aware of “How to D Stress our lives”& “How we can overcome the minute stresses which everybody is facing in routine life”.

This Training was initiated by Mr Shamit Tiwari and was highly appreciated by the participants. The audience demanded more training sessions like this in the future and it was held at the Training Center, Gurukul.

HEG: POSH Training

POSH law mandates every employer to provide a safe working environment for women. This law has enacted the prevention of women from sexual harassment in the workplace. HEG has the committee for this Act and Company has developed a safe working environment for all female employees. This training was given by Mr Shamit Tiwari to aware the employees about this law.

HEG: First Aid Training

First Aid is the assistance or support given to a sick or injured person for any injury or sudden illness before the arrival of an ambulance or a Doctor for saving the life of the patient. First Aid is NOT about giving medicine or diagnosing a condition. The purpose of First Aid is to minimize injury and future disabilities. In serious cases, first aid may be necessary to keep a victim alive. First Aid is easy as ABC i.e. Airway, Breathing and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). Dr SK Sharma from the Indian Red Cross Society took the session as he is an expert in First Aid training.

HEG: Pursuit of Happiness

“Happiness is not about what you want all the time, It's about loving what you have and being grateful for it "

The above quote is so beautiful but it does not mean that we should not strive for Happiness. According to the great preacher Dalai Lama, "Happiness is not something readymade; it comes from your action". In the present world, most of us are busy with our tight schedules in our lives. Everyone is hustling to achieve pre-determined goals.

Ambitions and Desires are the two aspects for which every person is making effort, but this factor requires Dedication, Perseverance, Determination, Sacrifice, and most important Optimism.

In favour of the above lines, we have planned a behavioural session on the challenges and lessons of life which everyone is facing in some or the other way. The motive of this session is to motivate and boost the morale for personality development.

HEG: Code of Conduct

A Code of Conduct is a set of policies within an organization that the employees are bound to follow. This policy reveals the organization's mission and values and ties these ideals to professional behaviour standards.

In HEG the major purpose of the code of conduct policy is to set and maintain the standard for acceptable behaviour to all stakeholders in the company. The code of conduct policy is to articulate a high standard of honesty, integrity and law-abiding behaviour expected of all employees and meeting the expectations of external stakeholders.

This Training was given by Mr Shamit Tiwari in the Gurukul Training centre, HEG and was attended by participants from different departments.

Ringas: Team Building & Conflict Management

An external training programme on team building and conflict management was organized by the HR department from May 21st to 30th May 2022 at our group level. The first programme has taken place on the 21st of May 2022 at Ringas HRD Hall.

Shri Pankaj Shukla has led the training programme. In Ringas, a group of Managers and Staff Members of the Spinning and RPSF Division attended the programme.

 

Ringas: First Aid Training

An external training program on Safety at Work Place was organized on 25h June 2022, conducted by "Grow foundation & Red Cross Society". Employees & workers from Spinning and RPSF were covered in this program.

Procedures required during accidents & medical emergencies were demonstrated. All the employees were trained to follow the first aid procedures and provide help to co-workers in any kind of emergency. A total of 15 staff Members attended the session which was very beneficial for all.

Ringas: Management Window

Knowledge sharing amongst peers & staff is the best way to train and get trained. The First Management window for the FY 2022-23 was conducted on 25.06.2022. Sh G.K. Mundra, AGM Commercial gave a presentation on the subject of budgeting and its relevance in personal and professional life. The program and content were quite appreciated, especially by technical team members.

Maral Noida: "Awareness on First Aid"

To fulfil the customer's audit requiring parameters/standards and educate our employees on the floor on basic First Aid, an awareness training session has been imparted by Ms Vashundhara Pradhan to our employees on 05th April 2022 at unit C-126.

Maral Noida: Internal Committee Meeting

To create & provide a Safe and Healthy workplace for female employees at our factory premises, a committee meeting has been conducted on the “Internal Committee’’ in presence of an external Advocate Mrs Jyoti Sinha at unit C-126.

Maral Noida: Canteen Committee Meeting

To provide healthy and nutritious food to our employees at our unit, a Canteen Committee meeting has been conducted in presence of all committee members at unit C-126 on 21st May 2022. 

Maral Noida: First Aid Awareness Session

To fulfil the customer's audit requiring parameters/standards and educate to our employees on the floor on basic First Aid, an awareness training session has been imparted by Dr B.P. Bashisht to our employees on 24th May 2022 at unit C-126. 

Maral Noida: Grievance Redressal Committee

To fulfil the legal & customer audit requiring parameters/standards and provide an open platform for employees to raise their daily grievances for solutions, a committee meeting has been conducted on 23rd May 2022 at unit C-126. 

Maral Noida: Health & Safety Committee

The Health & Safety Committee was held on May 21, 2022, at unit C-126 to fulfil the legal and customer audit requirements for parameters/standards, provide an open forum for employees to raise their daily Health and Safety-related concerns, and foster a culture of safety.

Maral Noida: Mock/Fire Drill

A mock drill was conducted on 25th June 2022 through a third party to check the preparedness, planning, responses and effectiveness of the emergency response plan.  Before execution, a meeting was also conducted with HODs / Section In-charges to discuss the roles and responsibilities during the earthquake too. The drill was conducted effectively at unit C-126.

Maral Noida: Fire Safety Training

An awareness training session on fire and safety was provided to our employees by an external agency at C-126, Noida, on June 25, 2022, in order to create a safe and healthy work environment.

Maral Noida: First Aid Training Session

An awareness training session on basic first aid was given to our employees on June 27, 2022, at C126 by an independent agency called "Momentum India" in order to satisfy the customer's audit requirements for parameters and standards.

Maral Noida: Internal Committee Meeting

A committee meeting on the "Internal Committee" was held at unit D-347 in the presence of an external advocate Mrs Jyoti Sinha to develop and provide a Safe and Healthy work environment for female employees at our factory premises.

Maral Noida: Awareness Session on POSH

To create & provide a safe and healthy workplace for female employees at our factory premises, Mrs Jyoti Sinha (External Advocate) has provided an awareness training session to our employees on the “Internal Committee’’ on 14th April 2022 at unit D-347.

Maral Noida: Awareness Session on C-TPAT

An awareness training session on C-TPAT was given to the security staff at unit D-347 by Mr Pawan Pal in order to meet the customer's audit requirements' parameters/standards and educate our employees at the facility.

Maral Noida: Grievance Redressal Committee

A committee meeting on the "Grievance Committee" was held on May 11, 2022, at unit D-347 in order to fulfil the legal and customer audit requirements for parameters/standards and provide an open forum for employees to raise their daily grievances for resolution.

Maral Noida: Canteen Committee

To provide healthy and nutritious food to our employees at our unit, a Canteen Committee meeting was held on May 12, 2022, at unit D-347, in the presence of committee members. Everyone present in the meeting gave their valuable suggestions on how to improve the quality & quantity of food in the canteen.

Maral Noida: Works Committee

To meet the legal and customer audit requirements for parameters/standards as well as to provide an open platform for employees to raise their daily grievances for resolution, a meeting on the "Works Committee" was held on May 12th, 2022 at unit D-347.

Maral Noida: Health & Safety Committee Meet

The Health & Safety Committee meeting was held on May 21, 2022, at unit D-347 to satisfy the legal and customer audit requirements for parameters and standards, provide an open platform for employees to address their daily Health and Safety-related concerns, and foster a culture of safety.

Maral Noida: C-TPAT Training

A C-TPAT training programme was conducted by Ms Aanchal Taygi at unit A-11 to meet the customers' security audit requirements for parameters and standards and to inform our employees at the facility.

Maral Noida: Fire Safety Training

An awareness training session on Fire & Safety has been imparted to our employees at unit A-11, Noida, in order to create a Safe & Healthy Work Environment.

Ringas RPSF: Conducted External GRS Audit

An external GRS auditor, Mr Nitesh Dubey, visited the RPSF plant and was welcomed by COO Shri M.K. Yogi, accompanied by all the heads of departments of the RPSF plant. The GRS audit was conducted on a full-day basis, and it had been very successful. Sh Nitesh Dubey appreciated for marvellous internal housekeeping, cleanliness and various systems maintained in the RPSF Unit. In virtue of it, our GRS certificate was renewed and awarded to us.

Ringas RPSF: Team Building & Conflict Resolution Training

On 21st May 2022, an external trainer, Mr Pankaj Shukla, provided training on team building and conflict resolution to our employees. The training session was successful and well executed with the support of all team members.

Ringas RPSF: First Aid Training

First aid training had been provided by Sh Aditya Pathak to the selected RPSF staff members. It had been a very special and useful training program to spread safety awareness among employees and to meet emergency needs. In this training program, I was taught, how to mitigate emergency medical situations.

CPR techniques were also taught to cope with life-threatening situations of a person under medical complicacy.

Ringas RPSF: Fire Drill Sessions

Three fire drills were held in succession on April 25, May 25, and June 25, 2022, using both dry and wet techniques. The drills taught the participants about the various crucial steps and their priorities. It also explained how to handle emergency fire situations to all the attendees.

Rishabhdev: Session on `Life Management’

A one-day session on 'Life Management' by Dr Pankaj Shukla from Being Capable Organisation, Nagpur, was held at Rishabhdev on 27th May, 22. Twenty staff members, from level Asst. Manager to Manager participated in the programme. This one-day workshop was enjoyed by all and very good feedback was received from the participants.

Rishabhdev: Session on `Work Life Balance’

A two-hour session on work-life balance was held at Rishabhdev on May 30th 2022 conducted by Shri D K Gupta, Principal, VKV. About 32 senior executives and below-level staff attended the programme. He explained beautifully how to maintain work-life balance through planning and proper time management.

Rishabhdev: 5S Training for Staff

A 5S training for staff was held on 21st April 2022. The coordinator, Mr Chandan Rajan briefed us about the importance of the 5S concept in the work area. He also briefed us on how to implement the 5S in the workplace and maintain it for ease of doing work systematically.

Rishabhdev: Quality Circle Program

On April 26, 2022, a one-day workshop on the Quality Circle was held. The QC Facilitator, Shri Ummed Singh Bhati, briefed us on the state of the Quality Circle in our unit. He also let us know that our unit had placed second among the Group units and would strive to take first place the following time.

Rishabhdev: Knowledge Enhancement

Shri Pramod Mahipal, Sr. GM (Technical) conducted a knowledge enhancement programme for Technical staff, during which he discussed various issues related to day-to-day plant operations, technological advancements in the textile industry, how to use human resources properly and effectively to their full potential, and so on.

Mandpam: Team Building and Conflict Management Session

A team building and conflict management session was organized for staff to learn the basic concepts of personal motivation on dated 25th May 2022. The staff members attended the session with much enthusiasm. The training session was conducted by Mr. Pankaj Shukla, Life Management Guru, Being Capable Organization.

Mandpam: First Aid Training Session

A First Aid Training session was conducted by RSWM, Mandpam unit through Red Cross Society, Bhilwara on 28th April, 2022 for our staff & workers. Dr. Dilip Singh & Mr. Kuldeep Singh, from Red Cross Society, Bhilwara participated in the session & provided information on the first aid in various emergency situations.

Mandpam: Training on Use of Fire Fighting & Fire Hydrant System

A training programme on Fire Safety & Use of Fire Hydrant System was organized at Mandpam unit on 28th June 2022. The objective of this programme was to create awareness for use of fire hydrant systems at the time of fire. Mr. Anil Bishnoi (Sr. Executive - Fire & Safety) was the faculty for this training programme and it was well executed.

MPCL: Mock Drill on Vehicle Accident

A tier-1 mock drill on vehicle accidents was conducted on June 29, 2022, by MPCL management to check the emergency preparedness planning, responses of the rescue team and effectiveness of the existing training system. A company’s vehicle met an accident due to a landslide and a rolling boulder hit the vehicle. The planned scenario with a tentative timeline was discussed with all HODs and also conveyed to all concerned. 

LNJ Denim: Emergency Mock Drill & Fire Drill Session

An emergency can occur at any time and in any situation at any place. To create awareness about this in the plant we conducted an emergency mock drill session on 30th April 2022 at 6:58 pm in our Denim plant under the supervision of our Safety Officer. The fire was observed outside the HR gate area at 06.58 pm. An emergency was intentionally created to check the awareness among the staff members & workers, this was kept secret and only a few senior staff members were informed for the same. Immediately after the incident was enacted, responses from various people on duty were observed. Who saw it first? What was his first action? who raised the emergency siren? How & When first aid was given to him, and who came to the assembly point? The overall response of all the responsible persons was very good.

This session aimed to find out the alertness of employees in any emergency & the overall observation was assessed as satisfactory. After this spot, practical training has been imparted from the observation of this Mock Drill to our workers & staff by our Safety Officer, Mr Vijay Gautam. He taught them how to use the extinguisher & hydrant line, and get out of any dangerous situations.

LNJ Denim: Training on ESIC Schemes & Benefit

A training session on ESI’s benefits was conducted on 18th May 2022. The Training was given by R.P. Sharma & Team - ESIC Office, Banswara where ESI beneficiaries attended the training. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the ESI system & its benefits. How an employee receives various benefits from ESI for himself or herself and their families, such as medical benefits, sickness benefits, and maternity benefits. The participants had a good understanding of the advantages of ESI and the session was interactive.

LNJ Denim: Training on Fire & Safety

A training session was conducted on Fire & Safety on 23rd June 2022. The two-hour training program was provided to staff and security guards. The demonstration was done on how and when to use the required equipment with all the possible safety measures. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the use of firefighting equipment at the time of the fire. 

The topics covered in this session were Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Near Misses, Unsafe Acts & Conditions, Use of PPE etc. A live demo session of firefighting was also covered during the session. He educated all personnel to follow safety rules and how to respond to different emergencies. The training was given by Shri Vijay Kumar Gautam - Fire & Safety Officer.

LNJ Denim: Training Team Building and Conflict Management

A training session on Team Building and Conflict Management was conducted on 28th May 2022. The one-day training program was provided to employees. The training was given by Shri Pankaj Shukla from the Being Capable organisation. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about Team Building and Conflict Management & how it would be implemented in our work place. A total of 35 staff members attended the session.

BSL: Mock Drill on Emergency Preparedness & Response

BSL Safety Department has organized Rehearsal on Emergency Preparedness & Response (Mock Drill) on 12th July 2022 at BSL IKEA units (Weaving Unit-II & Processing Division, Unit-II). The objective of the mock drill is to review the emergency preparedness plan of the organization and evaluate standard operating procedure, so that concerned persons would deliver their duties effectively while keeping in cognizance of life and property. Shri Ram Milan Singh (Manager-Safety) has told us all about the Mock Drill rehearsal importance.

ADHPL: Tier-II Mock Drill on Land Slide with Road Accident

A Tier–II emergency mock drill was conducted on 29th June 2022 at ADHPL. The Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) Jagatsukh and Pradhan of Jagatsukh Panchayat also took an active part in the mock drill and the BMO-Naggar, SDM-Manali, DSP-Manali and Fire Officer were informed about the mock drill. This drill aimed to test the emergency preparedness & response planning, the effectiveness of the existing communication system and the response time of the rescue team of ADHPL along the Duhangan site. It was also aimed to test the communication and coordination with local bodies while dealing with such emergencies on that part of the project.

ADHPL: Dam Safety Conference

ADHPL participated in the meeting of Specified Dam Authorities on Dam Safety Act-2021, on pre-monsoon audit reports. Peak monsoon season preparedness was conducted online on 20th June 2022. The main aim of the meeting was to know about the preparedness of Dam Safety Authorities in the monsoon & peak monsoon season ahead and to know about the pre-monsoon Dam Safety audit conducted by the different Dam authorities.

ADHPL: ISO- 45001:2018 Internal Auditor Training

ADHPL employees were imparted ISO- 45001:2018 Internal auditors training from 16th to 18th May 2022. A total of sixteen employees from ADHPL and MPCL participated in and completed the training. The training was imparted by a certified trainer from an external agency.

ADHPL: 2nd Internal Audit of IMS Conducted

The 2nd internal audit of IMS (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) for the certification year 2021-22 was conducted successfully from 22nd to 25th June 2022. The clause-wise internal audit of the integrated management system was carried out by trained internal auditors from different departments as per the given schedule and time.

ADHPL: National Seminar on Electrical and Fire Accidents in Power Industry

Two employees from ADHPL Mr Rajiv Katyal and Mr Pankaj Rana attended the National Seminar on Electrical and Fire Accidents in Power Industry - Causes and Prevention from June 23 to 24, 2022 at the National Skill Development Forum, The Institution of Engineers (India), Shimla. The seminar mainly focused on the importance of human life and the prevention of accidents with the use of improved technologies, and proper maintenance of equipment. The seminar also covered topics like the importance of training, and electrical & fire safety.
