Training provided on Quality Circle, 5’S and Abhivyakti by Mr. VK Purohit in RPSF Plant

Mr. VK Purohit visited RPSF plant and conducted a review meeting on Quality Circle, 5’S & Abhivyakti Scheme. Mr. VK Purohit shared his observation for further improvements for each department and appreciated for marvelous internal housekeeping, cleanliness, and various systems maintained in the RPSF Unit after that Trophy given to the electrical department for giving the best suggestions by COO Mr. M.K. Yogi and Mr. VK Purohit.

Fire Drill Sessions

Three nos Fire drills had been conducted sequentially on 25^th April 2023, 25th May 2023 and 25^th June 2023 on Dry Drill and Wet Drill basis. During the drills the various important steps along with their priorities were taught to participants. Also it was explained, how to fight against emergency fire situations.

TGT Training Program

A TGT training program was organized by the CHRO office in the RPSF unit to develop new inductees/TGT towards the business goals and career development. The training program was conducted by Dr. Sourabh Sethi. On the first day of the opening ceremony of the session COO of the RPSF unit Mr. M.k. Yogi addressed all TGT to focus and adopt strategies to develop themselves in this competitive time.

External Training On Prevent Cut and Work Place Injury & Safety

A training program on Fire Fighting and safety at work workplace was conducted at the RPSF Fiber unit by Mr. Anurodh Prashant and Mr. Ramjilal Saini “External Safety Expert and Auditor”.Staff of various departments like Engineering, Mechanical, and Production, etc attended it. During this program various important topics were explained by experts like proper tools handling, responding during emergencies, mitigating emergency conditions, the Do’s and Don’t during a fire situation.

Fire Drill Sessions

To spread the awareness among staff and workmen, 3 fire drills were conducted on 25^th July 2023, 25^th Aug. 2023 and 25^th Sep, 2023 on Dry and Wet Drill basis.Safety Officer organized this drill and explained about various steps of safety process to be taken during emergency situations.

Ringas: A one-day training program/Seminar by Shri Mahaveer Pareek on 06.05.23

Shri Mahaveer Pareek - Mewar HR Consultancy Bhilwara has hosted a one-day training program/seminar on the subject "Wellness/happiness through Physical, Emotional, Social, Spiritual & other dimension “ at RSWM Ltd-Ringas Plant on 06.05.2023.

Because the topic is common to all levels of employees, all Staff Members participated in one group in this training program.

Ringas :TGTs Booster Training

A team of 27 TGTs visited Ringas Spinning & RPSF Plant on 17th & 18th August’23. A TGT training program was organized by the  CHRO office to develop new inductees/TGT towards the business goals and career development. At the opening ceremony of the sessions,  Shri Manoj Sharma – CHRO, Shri Anurag Mathur – COO, and Shri M.K. Yogi – COO addressed all TGT to focus and adopt strategies to develop themselves in this competitive time.

Ringas : IMS Audit Training Session on 11.09.23 to 13.09.23

Shri Sushil Sharma – Quality4 Surecom has given an ‘internal Audit training course’  to our Staff members for ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2008 certification in our HRD hall from 11.09.23 to 13.09.23.

HEG: Smeta Audit By Bureau Veritas - July 2023

The Smeta Audit, focused on evaluating environmental, social and ethical practices, serves as a cornerstone in appraising a company's commitment to responsible business conduct. In the course of a Smeta Audit, an independent auditor meticulously assembles an audit report. This comprehensive review encompasses a thorough examination of meticulously prepared documents. The auditor's primary objective is to ensure that the accounts are entirely free from any substantial misstatements, whether they arise from fraudulent activities or inadvertent errors.

Ringas :SA 8000:2014 Audit

The Ring unit went through an SA 8000:2014 audit by BSI auditors, Mr. Neeraj Mehta, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, and Ms. Anita Rathore, on August 2nd and 3rd, 2023. The Management Representative, Mr. Shiv Kishore Kanaujia, was assisted by all HODs and their respective teams to successfully conduct this audit. The Certification is continued after the audit clearance.

HEG: First Aid Training (14th June 2023)

First Aid Training is a specialized program meticulously crafted to empower individuals with the essential knowledge and skills needed to respond adeptly in emergency situations. This comprehensive training equips participants with the capability to administer immediate medical assistance and care to injured or ill individuals until professional medical help arrives. The mastery of First Aid Training can play a pivotal role in saving lives, mitigating further injury, and expediting the recovery process.

The 2nd internal audit of IMS - ADHPL

The 2nd internal audit of IMS (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) for certification year 2022-23 was conducted successfully from April 24 – 26, 2023. The clause-wise audit of the integrated management system was carried out by trained internal auditors from different departments as per the given schedule and time.

Project risk assessment meeting - ADHPL

The Project risk assessment meeting was conducted at AD Hydro Power Ltd. to review the risks identified. The meeting was conducted on 26.04.2023 in the 1st floor conference hall. All the identified risks were discussed in detail and no changes were proposed.

Defensive driving training by Third party - ADHPL

A training on “Defensive Driving” was conducted by external expert agency M/s Safety Circle Pvt. Ltd. Chandigarh. The two days’ training programme was held from May 25 to 26, 2023 at AD Hydro Power Ltd. The training was conducted in two sessions in which total 24 drivers and heavy machinery operators were imparted training on “Defensive driving”.

LNJ Denim - Emergency Mock Drill & Fire Drill session in Plant

An emergency can occur at any time and in any situation at any place. To create awareness about this in the plant, we conducted an emergency mock drill session on 31.05.2023 @ 6:45 am in our Denim Plant under the supervision of our Safety Officer.  The fire was observed outside the HR gate area at 06.58 pm. An emergency was intentionally created in order to check the awareness among the staff members & workers, this was kept secret and only a few senior staff members were informed for the same. Immediately after the incident was enacted, responses from various people on duty were observed. Who saw it first? What was his first action? who raised the emergency siren? How & when First aid was given to him, and who came to the assembly point? The overall response of all the responsible people satisfactory was very good.

The aim of this session was to find out the alertness of employees in any emergency & the overall observation was assessed as satisfactory. After this, on-spot practical training was imparted from the observation of this Mock Drill to our workers & staff by Our Safety Officer Mr. Vijay Gautam & he made us aware of how to utilize the Extinguisher & hydrant line & get protected from any worst situation.

MOCK DRILL ON FLASH FLOOS & LAND SLIDE AT MPCL

Mock drill on flash flood and land slide was conducted on June 08, 2023 by MPCL management to check the emergency preparedness planning, responses of the rescue team and effectiveness of the existing training system.  The scenario of the drill was decided by the State Disaster Management Authority and DDMA given the direction to execute the mock drill on predefined scenario. Before execution, a meeting was also conducted with HODs/section in-charges to discuss the scenario and to define role & responsibilities of the individuals.

LNJ Denim - Training cum workshop on Emotional Intelligence

A training session on Emotional Intelligence was conducted on 06^th July, 2023 The one-day training cum workshop was inaugurated by Shri Suketu Shah – BH  & Shri Arbind Mishra – Head HR & IR. The training was given by Shri Mahaveer Pareek from Mewar Consultancy, Bhilwara. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the emotional intelligence Management & how it would be implemented in our work place. Total 35 staff members had attended the session. participated in this.

LNJ Denim - Training on Fire & Safety

An awareness training session on Fire & Safety has been imparted to our employees at LNJ Denim, Mordi on 12^th Sept, 2023.  The objective of this programme was to create awareness for use of fire hydrant systems at the time of fire. Mr. Vijay Gautam – Officer Fire & Safety has imparted this training programme. Demonstration was done on how and when to use the required equipment with all the possible safety measures. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the use of firefighting equipment at the time of the fire. 

DEFENSIVE DRIVING TRAINING AT MPCL

MPCL has organized training on defensive driving basic techniques at the MPCL site, on September 26, 2023, for MPCL & Transmission Line drivers. The objective of this training is to educate and improve the defensive driving skills of company drivers for accident accident-free workplace. Training is conducted by the EHS department and delivered by an external agency namely North Star Safety Systemz, Chandigarh. The training covered specialized knowledge through lectures and practical exercises on defensive driving techniques.

MOCK DRILL ON FIRE AT MPCL

MPCL conducted a tier 1 mock drill on 27.09.2023 involving all project components including LMS School to test its Emergency Preparedness & Response Planning. The scenario of the mock drill has been finalized by EHS department with consent of Plant In-charge, MPCL. 

Annual sports meet organized

Annual sports meet was organized at ADHPL from September 28 to 30, 2023 wherein volleyball, chess and badminton championships were held. All the events went of well among the departmental teams of ADHPL, with great commitment and sportsmen spirit. It was a motivating event for all employees. The winners were felicitated with trophies on October 02, 2023. A cultural program was also organized on October 02, 2023 wherein a beautiful Kulvi Nati was presented by the women working in the office.

Training of riggers

ADHPL organized a training program for its employees on lifting and rigging works on September 12, 2023. The one day training was attended by 15 employees from ADHPL and TL. The training was conducted with the help of third party M/s Force Tech Security (India Pvt. Ltd.). The participants have been certified as riggers for lifting works after the completion of training.

Project risk assessment - ADHPL

The project risk assessment meeting was held on 06.09.2023 at AD Hydro Power Ltd. to review the identified risks after the heavy rains on July 09-11, 2023 in Manali region. The meeting was important in its sense to assess and evaluate the probability and impact of the July 09-11, 2023 heavy rains and plan for the mitigation measures in the risk table. All the identified risks were discussed in detail.

Internal audit of IMS

One day HR Session

On 20^th May,  an HR session on topic `Wellness/Happiness through Physical, Emotional, Social, Spiritual & other dimensions’ was organized at Rishabhdev.  Mr.M P Pareek from Mewar HR Consultancy, Bhilwara was the faculty of this programme,  and it was  attended by Asstt. Manager and above level officers.  The programme received a good response from the participants.  A yoga programme was held in the morning in which some ladies and gents participated.

Rishabhdev organized a Self Development programme on "Speak what you know"

`Speak what you know’ programme was held at Rishabhdev unit on 22^nd April, 2023.  Four staff from various departments gave five minutes speech on various topics.   All the speakers presented  very good performance  and got appreciation  of all.   Thereafter an open discussion was held on a current event.

Training program on “Wellness / Happiness through seven dimensions PIE-Mass”

On 8^th July 2023 an external training program on “Wellness / Happiness through seven dimensions PIE-Mass” was organised by Mewar Consultancy Bhilwara by Shri M P Pareek. In this session, he explained various tools and techniques to overcome various situations, and the content of the program was very much appreciated by the participants.

Kharigram: Training on Ring frame Breakage

As a part of technical skill enhancement of staff members, training cum awareness session on how to control Ring Frame breakage, was organised on 3^rd April-2023. Technical Team took this session for all technical officers. They explained about Functioning, Length, Technical faults and their remedies, Naps etc. During this interaction session, participants were also came out at this platform to discuss about their queries, technical issues etc which were addressed properly.

Workshop on Quality Circle at Kharigram

A workshop on Qulaity Circle (QC) was organised on 8th June ,23 at Kharigram. During training session, Sh Vinod Kumar Purohit- CTSC briefed about QC aspects in running projects at department/Unit level. He also explained about basics, uses of quality concepts, techniques and its importance. This program was very useful in terms of higher productivity and cost saving aspects.

Awareness Session HR Policy (Kharigram)

HR Department, Kharigram conducts time-to-time refresher training for staff members to make them aware and updated about various policy aspects and give clarity as and where required. In this context, an awareness program on employee benefits & loan policy was conducted on 07^th April 2023. A total of 35 staff members got benefited from this program and they were encouraged to organise such awareness sessions periodically.

Mock Drill (Kharigram)

To review the emergency preparedness plan of the organization and evaluate standard operating procedure so that concerned persons would deliver their duties effectively, Mock drill was conducted in ETP area on Fire in chemical godown on 25^th April-23. Total 25 employees including Security, fireman, staff and workmen participated, further all employees were educated by Safety Manager Sh. Dileep Kumar Chourasia about, mobilization of coordinated activities identifying the gaps and get aware of pre-emptive measures to handle any kind of emergency situations like fire, chemical disaster and emergencies.

Visit of Students of Hindustan Zinc Vidyalaya, Hurda, 26-04-2023 at Kharigram.

As a part of CSR, a group of 55 students of Hindustan Zinc Vidyalaya, Hurda Students School visited Kharigram Unit. The students learned about various processes of Yarn Manufacturing in our Sj-11 unit and felt extremely delighted. Their principal gave vote of thanks to our Management that this visit will help them for their enhancement of knowledge. This was concluded by light refreshments.

7. Visit of Students of Government Sr. Sec. School Students, Agucha, 13-06-2023 at Kharigram.

As a part of CSR, a group of 87 students of Government Sr. Sec. School Students visited Kharigram Unit. HR team welcomed them and Training Incharge Mr Ratibhan Patil explained them about the process. The students learned about various processes of Yarn Manufacturing in our Sj-11 unit and felt extremely delighted. Their principal gave vote of thanks to our Management that this visit will help them for their enhancement of knowledge. This was concluded by light refreshments

Training cum Motivation Program on "Wellness / Happiness through seven dimension PIE-Mass" (KGM)

HR department conducted a motivational workshop-"Wellness / Happiness through seven dimensions PIE-Mass" at Kharigram on 13 July, 2023. Sh. M P Pareek, Senior faculty,  also different motivational games were played during this program. After this program, the high energy level of our staff could be observed and they all gave very good feedback. They were very much happy to attend this external program. A total of 52 Staff members benefited from this workshop.

A training programme on handling of chemical spillage was organized at Mandpam Unit on 13^th June 2023.

The objective of this programme was to create awareness for control to chemical emergency. Mr. Anil Bishnoi (Sr. Engineer - Fire & Safety) was the faculty for this training programme.

Session on Fire Safety and Fid Aid training & Awareness - VVV Maral Sarovar

Session on Fire Safety and Fid Aid training & Awareness - On the 11th of September the students of class XI & XII attended a special session on Fire Safety and Fid Aid training & awareness. The students were educated about types and causes of fires. What may cause a fire and the course of action to take in order to ensure safety for oneself and his/her peers, as well as the correct method of extinguishing the fire. The session was conducted by the very capable and dependable Jugraj Singh Sir and Bablu Singh Sir representatives of Maral Overseas Limited. Under their supervision the students learnt to use fire extinguishers with proper guidance. 

The students then had a session with Dr. Soni who is also a representative of Maral Overseas Limited. Who educated the students of the components of a first aid kit, the purpose of every element and when and how to appropriately use these to treat cuts, bruises or burns. Dr. Soni also took the opportunity to counsel the students about health and hygiene as well as good practices to keep diseases away and lead a healthy life. The students learnt of valuable life skills that will help them tackle adverse situations if they ever arise. Empowering them to be brave and resourceful individuals during moments of crisis. 

DR Drill by IT Department

This year, the annual DR Drill was initiated as per schedule on 13th August 2023. All critical IT services, Mail Services and ERP applications (RSWM & Maral) seamlessly transitioned from the HO Data Centre to the Disaster Recovery facility. The DR Drill process was completed successfully by restoring all IT Services and Applications to our HO data center on 16th August 2023.
