Kharigram: North India Best Employer Awards 2021

RSWM Ltd received the North India Best Employer Awards, felicitated by World HRD Congress. This award was in the category of Best Employer Brand 2021. Sh. Manoj Sharma, CHRO, Sh Anurag Mathur, COO, received this award in the program, held at Taj Hotel, New Delhi on 23^rd December 2021.

Kharigram: Quality Circle - Gold Award in International Convention

It's a matter of pride and joy that our Quality Circle team " Uday" first time participated in International Convention on Quality Control Circle held on 26-11-2021, in Hyderabad on the theme "Quality Concept Facilitating Societal and Economic Turnaround" and won Par Excellence (Gold Award).

Our team members- Mr. Rampal, Mr. Ramdhan Jat, Mr. Shakti Singh, and Mr. Vinod Purohit went through the steps of chapter convention, national convention, and finally international convention for presenting QC case of mill no. 4 i.e. "Reduction in hard waste in post spinning".  

Kharigram: Abhivyakti – Award Ceremony

Sh Ravindra Singh, Dy.Manager (Maintenance), Sh. Sitaram, Jr. Foreman recognised for their outstanding“Abhivyakti” suggestions on 28^th December, 2021 from Kharigram Unit. A felicitation program was organised at HR Conf. hall. An appreciation letter and gift cheque of Rs 10,000/- given to both persons. Shri N.K. Bahedia, COO, Sh Sukesh Sharma, Dy. BH appreciated their suggestion and  contribution. Following was the suggestion –

Cyclones manufacturing and installing in-house. It saved   Rs. 30684/- in manufacturing costs per cyclone. A total of 68 cyclones were installed. The installation of cyclones resulted in the saving of 18 manpower per day in various activities. It also saved Rs. 60000/- per month in fibre waste.

ADHPL: Lady Willingdon Hospital Acknowledging CSR Efforts

Two employees from AD Hydro Power Ltd. were invited to the Annual Day function celebrations of the Lady Willingdon Hospital, Manali on 20 November 2021, as special invitees. The Hospital Administration had invited and felicitated ADHPL employees at the function organised by the hospital Management exhibiting their gratitude for the donations under CSR activities to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic during the flare stage of the second wave of the pandemic. The financial implication of this activity was approximately Rs. 0.40 Mn.

MPCL: 20 Years Mandatory Inspection

A team comprises of four senior officials of the Directorate of Energy {Himachal Pradesh} have visited & inspected MPCL in November 2021. On completion of 20 years of MPCL power plant, it was a mandatory inspection of 5 days by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. During the inspection, officials appraised MPCL's efforts and work.

Lodha: Long Term Service Reward

The HR Deptt. organised a felicitation program for the staff and workers who have completed their 10 & 25 years services at RSWM, Lodha. On this occasion, Mr. Yogesh Dutt Tiwari (Chief Operating officer) appreciated their long association with RSWM and honoured them with Memento and Appreciation Certificate. During the program, all core team members were present and congratulated them.

Mandpam: Outstanding “ABHIVYAKTI” Suggestion Award

Sh. Pusp Lal Jagerwal (A.G.M - Dye House) was rewarded for his outstanding “Abhivyakti” suggestion. He was awarded a cheque of Rs.10000/- with an appreciation letter for his contribution, by Sh. Ashwani Mittal (Dy. BH). Everyone congratulated him on this big achievement.

HEG: International Convention on Quality Control Circles

HEG receives “Par Excellence”award in 46th International Convention on Quality Control Circles – 2021 (ICQCC-2021), Hyderabad. Two of HEG teams Vidur & Jagrati participated and gave an outstanding presentation and won the prestigious award. This is a testimony of HEGs focus on continuous quality improvement at plant.

HEG: National Event on Quality Circle

After winning the award in the International event one more milestone was added to our success chart, Keeping Covid protocols & guidelines in mind we participated in a National event (Virtually) organized at Coimbatore and again won the “Par Excellence” & “Excellence Award”.

Team Pragati won par excellence and team Vidhyut won excellence award which further boosted our morale and motivated us for the upcoming future events.

Maral Sarovar: National Safety Award

Maral Overseas Ltd, Sarovar won the prestigious National Safety Award (2^nd position) for the performance year 2018. This award is being given by Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment. Maral Overseas Ltd. has won this award in the years 2016 & 2017 also. 

Maral Sarovar: Industry Excellence Award

Maral Overseas Limited has been awarded Industry Excellence Award in the 36^th Indian Engineering Congress organized at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, recently.

This award has been instituted by The Institution of Engineers (India) to promote excellence in Engineering, Production Systems, and Process. The Institution of Engineers is a premier organization of engineers in India having its chapters in India and Abroad and has recently completed its 100 years since its foundation. The award was given by the Central Industry Minister Sh. Mahendra Nath Pandey and it was received by Sh. R.P. Gautam, Advisor - Maral Overseas Limited, Sarovar on 26^th December 2021.

Maral: Sh. R.P. Gautam Elected as Chairman of IEI, Indore

Sh. R.P. Gautam, Advisor (Engg.) of Maral Overseas Ltd, Maral Sarovar has been elected as Chairman of Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), for Indore (M.P.) for the period 2021-2023 during the election and the result announced in their AGM held on 31st October 2021. Sh. R.P. Gautam is B.E. (Electrical), M.E. (Industrial Engg. & Management) and associated with Maral Overseas Ltd for a long. He is a Member of the Board of Examiners, Boiler Board, Government of M.P., Lead Auditor Energy Management System, and ISO 50001:2011.
