VKV-Hurda: Art Camp at “Sambhar” Lake

An Art camp was conducted on 28th December 2021 at Sambhar, students were selected at school level from classes IX & X were taken to Sambhar Lake, where the students painted the migratory birds (cranes) on the spot. It was a great experience for the students, under this activity they learnt about the birds and why they migrated from one place to other, understand and visualize the habits and adaptation of bird in natural environment. Students put their visions on the Canvas beautifully. The event was done under the guidance of Sri Laxyapal Singh Rathore. This activity was stimulated by Shri LNJ Babu.

VKV-Hurda: Felicitation Ceremony

On November 25, 2021 Vidyalaya organized a felicitation ceremony for the Chess Players to motivate and to give recognition to their commendable achievements. Smt. Asha Goyal Principal of the school chaired the ceremony and parents of the achievers were also invited. Students participated in open Chess Championship held at Udaipur and secured different positions. Aaradhya Upadhyay of class II secured first position under 7 years age group. The students were awarded by the school dignitaries.

Principal showered her blessings on the students by the pearls of wisdom and motivation. All the parents were extremely delighted to be the part and parcel of this eventful occasion. The event culminated with the hope that in the coming years we would be sharing more awards.

VKV-Hurda: “MANDANA ART” Workshop

“Mandana” is one of the most popular folk art of Rajasthan and is a mark of celebration on festive occasions. Keeping this in mind, a wonderful workshop on “Mandana Art” was held on October 28, 2021. Its sole objective was to inculcate social, cultural and aesthetic values in the students. Students from classes 6th to 8th attended the workshop enthusiastically. Beautiful “Mandana” designs were made and students learnt the significance of the unique style of art, which is almost at the verge of extinction. It was an amazing endeavor by SDG Club for developing cultural values among the students.

VKV-Hurda: State Level Basketball Tournament - First Runner Up

VKV Hurda proudly announces that Navya Agiwal student of class 8th was selected in the District Basket Ball team and participated in the State level tournament held at Jodhpur from 02nd to 05th December 2021 and won the match as First Runner Up. The Principal along with School management congratulated Navya Agiwal on this big achievement.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Archery Competition

The students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev participated in the 65th District Level Secondary and Higher Secondary (17 to 19 years) Archery Competition. The competition was held from 26 to 29 October 2021. Devendra Chaudhary from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev became the bronze medallist by securing third position in the age group of 17 years. He was selected in the state level archery competition. Now he will participate in State Level Archery Competition from 15 to 20 November at Mahatma Gandhi Government Secondary School, Mansarovar, Jaipur.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Scouts Activity

9 Scouts of VKV Rishabhdev school participated in Testing Camp for Rajya Puraskar which was held at Uday Nivas, Udaipur from 22nd to 24th November 2021. Activities like Prayer, Pledge, Community Service  Work, Knots, Troop Management, Log Book, Surya Namaskar, BP Six Exercise etc. were tested by the authorities of Bharat Scouts & Guides, Udaipur. All the Scouts performed very well under the guidance of scouter Mr. O. P. Suthar from VKV Rishabhdev.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Drawing Competition

In a Drawing Competition organised by RSWM LTD, Rishabhdev during National Energy Conservation Week on 14th December 2021, 51 students from VKV School participated with much enthusiasm. In Senior Group, Bhumi Jain of Grade IX A stood First (1000 Cash Prize), Arpita Choudhary of XI Commerce stood Second (500 Cash Prize) and Vrishti Kalal of XI Commerce stood Third (300 Cash Prize). In Junior Group, Jhanvi Jain of Grade VIII A stood First (1000 Cash Prize), Tanisha Boyal of VIII A stood Second (500 Cash Prize) and Sourabh Parmar of VI A stood Third (300 Cash Prize). Total 45 students got the consolation prizes in this competition.

Students also attended energy conservation seminar and visited exhibition on this occasion. Mr. K. B. Khatod, COO, RSWM LTD. gave many tips for energy conservation to students and appreciated the artwork of the students of VKV Rishabhdev.

VVV-Maral: Instrumental Music Competition

“MUSIC IS TO THE SOUL WHAT WORDS ARE TO THE MIND” 

Music binds our soul, hearts and emotions and is the best method of relaxation. Instrumental music enhances one’s confidence and creativity. To provide an opportunity to students for exploring their innate talents as well as to display their musical abilities, Surtal Musical Group organized an online music instrumental competition in two categories Tabla playing and Keyboard playing Clearing all the three rounds, VVV Maral student Roshni Mandloi, in Keyboard category, entered the finals and secured second position. She was awarded an E- certificate along with a cash prize of Rs 999. Tanmay Badole of class IV also participated in Tabla category and cleared 2 rounds.

VVV-Maral: Diwali Celebration

School  designed ‘Diwali Celebration’  in a very creative organising class wise competition of classroom decoration on specific theme. Every class was given a thoughtful theme- ‘Health’, ‘Hope’ and ‘Inspiration’ with ‘Action’, for Sub juniors, Juniors and Seniors respectively. Students blended the essence of Diwali with the themes. Sub junior students decorated their display boards with the depiction of good habits. Junior students made beautiful charts to show the hope for the nature. Senior class students displayed their ideal figures as their inspirations - great personalities including great Swami Vivekananda, former President Dr. Abdul Kalam and well-known figure Elon Musk.

Students made beautiful Rangolis in their classes. Different paper craft, colourful hanging art pieces lighting lamps were attracting to everyone. As it was 1st November, the foundation day of Madhya Pradesh state – a documentary video was demonstrated to the students Math faculty Mr. Rohit Gupta gave interesting information about Madhya Pradesh. 

VVV-Maral: National Achievement Survey

A nationally representative large-scale survey of students' learning was undertaken by the Ministry of Education, Government of India on 12th November 2021 across 733 district all over India. Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral was designated as District Level Coordinator for conducting NAS in Khargone District. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) developed an Assessment Framework for gauging the competencies attained by the students vis-a-vis learning outcomes. 

VVV-Maral: Golden Achievement of Students

State level painting competition was organized by Government of India's Initiatives NHDC and Energy Efficiency Bureau on the occasion of 75th Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, which was participated by Yatharth Kushwaha and Jaivica Kushwaha of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar. It was a great pleasure that both children were selected in the first ′′13′′ winner participants. Both of them were honored with the cash prize of Rs. 7500 by the Honorable Governor of Madhya Pradesh.

VVV-Maral: National Solo Patriotic Song Competition

Bharat Vikas Parishad organized a National Solo Patriotic Song Competition in which the talented children of Vivekananda Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar School participated. The first phase was organized at the branch level in which Ms. Mohini Dongre of class 8th presented the song – ‘Hame Fir Se Ganga Bahani Hai….’ secured the second position in Junior Category, Ms. Jitisha Choyal of Class 11th also presented a song – 'Apana Bharat Apna Hindustani....' secured First Position and qualified for the next Provincial Level. She fascinated the audience with her melodious voice and secured the Second Position.

Graphite School: Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti

The school celebrated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri with patriotic fervor. To imbibe the true meaning of the day and follow glorious trails of the noble souls towards evolving a peaceful and prosperous world, special Reading and Declamation session were organized on 1st October 2021. The students read passages and delivered influential declamation on Gandhi Ji & Lal Bahadur Shastri and paid a creative homage to them.

Graphite School: Literacy Campaign

High school experiences are the culmination of adolescents’ holistic educational enhancement. Graphite School believes that community service holds great significance and should be a compulsory component of students’ educational experiences. A one week literacy campaign was organized for the illiterates of the vicinity of Mandideep from 4th to 9th October.

The volunteer students taught the basics of the languages to them and to write their own name along with the names of their family members under the mentor’s guidance. The programme was a huge success and filled the school fraternity with joy of sharing knowledge.

Graphite School: Career Counseling Session

Career counseling is a process that focuses on helping one understands one’s potential as well as work trends, so that one can take an informed decision about career and education. Graphite School organized a Career Counseling webinar in the collaboration with “Top Rankers” for the students of XII class on 29th October 2021. It helped the students to manage a diverse & advanced range of related career options. The session incorporated the tips to succeed in Creative Industries, Design and Architecture fields, Management sector, Law & Regulation Divisions etc. The speaker of the session was Mr. Lokesh Muley, an expertise in the advanced career options. 

Students were made aware about various entrance exams after 12th related to CLAT, DU LLB, CUCET, IPMAT, DUJAT, NPAT, NUHMCT, JEE. They could pursue based on the subject choices they would make. Along with the various exams, subjects in CLAT along with marking criteria are also discussed with them. The list of National Law schools along with preparation tips were told to students.

Queries raised by the students were addressed by the Team Ranker. The webinar was proven an eye opener for the aspirants of various streams.

Graphite School: Diwali Celebration

Graphite Higher Secondary School wore a festive look as the students celebrated the festival of lights, Diwali on 1st November 2021. Various activities such as Lantern making & decorating, flameless cooking, rangoli making, Mehandi designing & traditional dress-up competitions were organized for the students to bring out the essence of the festival. Rangoli is a traditional form that brightens up an occasion and is believed to be a harbinger of good luck. Beautiful colorful Rangoli patterns are created on the floor using colored rice, flowers, colored sand, or paints. The students of the middle classes crafted beautiful lanterns. It was a visual treat to see the children giving wings to their imagination. The students of Class VI To XI not only sashayed down the ramp donning traditional wear but also displayed their know-how about India's different states. Students also exhibited their culinary skills in ‘Flameless Cooking.’

Children participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious yet delectable delicacies. Food items displayed were a visual treat and were presented in an artistic and aesthetic style. Dishes were judged on nutrition and taste by the esteemed judges. They interacted with the budding chefs to find out the ingredients of the recipes, nutritional value, and the historical significance of the dishes prepared by them. Judges were overawed by the participants' efforts, and results were announced amidst tough competition. The students put their best foot forward and took part in the competition with zest.

Graphite School: Children's Day

A day marking childhood, and to make this event memorable for our little ones, Graphite School, celebrated Children’s Day on 12th November 2021 at the school premises. The day was commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm, and magnificence. The tiny tots of Pre-school and Pre-primary came dressed up in colorful clothes. The celebrations began with the welcome of the children by their teachers followed by a variety of fun-filled activities and games. The teachers made Children’s Day special for children by presenting an enthralling dance performance & involving them in their dance. The senior class students arranged the decorative food stalls for the tiny tots.

It was a good opportunity for the school children to learn marketing skills. The main objective of the event was to develop entrepreneurship skills among school children. More than 10 food stalls were put up with mouth-watering food items & traditional sweets like aaloo chat, orio shake, papadi chat, bhelpuri, soup on noodles, and many more on sale. The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.
Graphite School: Human Rights Day

The Graphite School observed Human Rights Day promotes equality, peace, justice, freedom, and the protection of human dignity. The School believes that every individual is entitled to rights irrespective of race, color, religion, sex, language, or social status. The atrocities of present society made it very crucial that our children must be aware of these basic human rights. A Quiz based on Human Rights was organized for the VI, VII, VIII, IX & XI classes on 7th December 2021. The students participated with zeal and exhibited their awareness of - Humanitarian Grounds.

Graphite School: Joy of Giving Campaign

"Always give without remembering and always receive without forgetting".

Some people find great pleasure in giving care and working for others or for society. To upskill the students with civic responsibility, Graphite Higher Secondary School observed the 'Joy of Giving' on 18th December 2021. The event was organized by the Cultural Committee & Peace Club of the school. The staff and students of the Graphite family contributed clothes, shoes, woolens,  bed sheets, toys, eatables, books, and other reusable items to the needy ones. The support staff was also benefited from the event.

Soaking in the spirit of giving, the glimpses of contentment were evident on every face.

Graphite School: National Consumer Day

The Graphite School observed National consumer day on 22nd December to acknowledge the rights and power of a consumer and customer. Class 10th students made informative PowerPoint presentations and exhibited their knowledge about the act. This activity was organized to empower the consumers of the future and help them in protecting their rights through its various notified Rules and provisions.

Graphite School: National Math Day

On the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Mathemagician Srinivas Ramanujan, Graphite School students' of class VI performed a Graffiti activity to find the square root by using the clock method and working model of the number system. They used the prerequisite knowledge of squares of numbers and the number system. The activity aimed at Art integration in finding the square root of the numbers.

Graphite School: Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat

To enhance the knowledge of the partner state and develop a sense of connection among the students of the participating State/UT, Graphite School conducted a Scrapbook activity for the students of class VI to VIII on 30th December. These activities will go a long way in developing the students into responsible citizens with a deep belief in the unity in diversity of the country. Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program aims to enhance interaction & promote mutual understanding between people of different regions & cultures through the concept of State/UT pairing.

With the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” Scrapbook activity the students tried to unify the country. The students paired up Madhya Pradesh with Manipur & Nagaland in their creative scrapbooks and depicted the cultural and physical features of the states beautifully. Through this activity, they boosted the existing cultural connection between different parts of the country and interaction between people living in different states.
