VKV Hurda - A Tribute to the Architect of Vivekananda Rock Memorial

Students of Classes III to XII gathered for a solemn tribute to Shri Eknath Ramakrishna Ranade (Eknathji). The program began with lamp lighting and pushpanjali, followed by a documentary highlighting his role in creating the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and founding Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda. The session inspired learners to embrace the values of discipline, patriotism, and purposeful living.

VKV Hurda - Organized 36th Annual Award Ceremony 'UDBHAV 2025'

The 36^th Annual Award Ceremony “UDBHAV 2025” at VKV Hurda showcased student achievements through cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and prize distribution. A special highlight was the awarding of LNJ Scholarships worth ₹2,00,000 to meritorious students who excelled in Board Results as well as State and National‑Level Sports and Cultural Competitions.

GHHS - Participation in Drone Tech Workshop & Expo 2025

Eight students from Classes IX and XI participated in the Drone Tech Workshop & Expo–2025, organized by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST) at Vigyan Bhavan, Bhopal, on October 30–31, 2025, marking Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day. In the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, our students witnessed the vision of innovation and advancement in UAV technology being actively promoted and encouraged.

Students gained hands-on experience in drone assembly and attended expert sessions on safe operations, industrial applications, and emerging career opportunities. On the second day, Dr. Jagannath Nayak, Director, DRDO, delivered an insightful lecture on Anti-Drone Technology and Directed Energy Weapons, followed by a robotics workshop inspired by Chandrayaan-3.

GHHS - Bronze Brilliance in Karate & Wushu

Graphite Higher Secondary School celebrated success in martial arts as one of its students earned a Bronze Medal at the School SGFI Karate & Wushu Championship held in Gwalior. Competing against talented participants from across the region, the student displayed exceptional agility, focus, and perseverance.

GHHS - Achievements at State Level Hockey Tournament

Graphite Higher Secondary School proudly showcased its sporting excellence in Hockey at various SGFI tournaments this season. Three students from Classes VIII to XII represented the school at the SGFI State Level Hockey Tournament held in Gwalior from October 27 to November 1, 2025, demonstrating remarkable determination and team spirit.

Adding further glory, six students from Classes VIII to XII secured the First Position at the School SGFI Hockey Division Level Tournament (Under-17 & 19) held at Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium, Bhopal. Their outstanding performance reflects disciplined training, coordination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence on the field.

Graphite Higher Secondary School celebrated its Annual Function, ‘Navsparsh’, on December 6, 2025, with grandeur and enthusiasm. The evening stood as a testament to the dedication, coordination, and collective spirit of the entire school community.

We were deeply honoured to welcome Ms. Rashmi Arun Shami, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh, as the Chief Guest. The occasion was further graced by our distinguished Guests of Honour—Mr. Manish Gulati, Executive Director, HEG Ltd., and Mr. Haseeb Khan, renowned stand-up comedian, and proud alumnus.

Centered on the theme “Navsparsh”, the cultural presentations reflected creativity, tradition, and youthful confidence. With over 2000 attendees applauding the performances, the evening became a vibrant celebration of talent and togetherness, leaving behind cherished memories for all.

GHHS - Achievement in Aryabhat Astronomy Quiz

Graphite Higher Secondary School takes pride in the achievement of Arav Nagar (Class VII), who secured the 14th position in the Aryabhat Astronomy Quiz (Secondary Level). His impressive performance among participants from across the country highlights his keen interest and knowledge in astronomy.

As a special recognition of his accomplishment, Arav has earned the opportunity to visit the IIT Kanpur Observatory, gaining valuable exposure to advanced astronomical studies. His success is truly inspiring for young science enthusiasts.

On Gandhi Jayanti, the SDG Club hosted the "Act Clean, Live Green" drive. Students and parents participated in cleaning their local neighborhoods and planting fruit-bearing trees. This initiative promoted environmental responsibility and earned class points on the SDG Scoreboard, fostering a long-term commitment to sustainable living.

Students from the Foundation Block enjoyed an adventurous day out at “Nagar Van” (SDG 15 : LIFE ON LAND) for their Children’s Day picnic. The trip was filled with nature walks and fun activities that promoted outdoor learning and laughter. It was a memorable day that allowed the youngest learners to connect with the beauty of nature while building friendships.

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar proudly implements the RUR GreenGold Aerobic Bio-Composter, supported by Maral Overseas Ltd.’s guests from Luxembourg, Europe and Purecotz, Pune. Aligned with SDG 11 and SDG 12, this initiative enables students to convert kitchen and garden waste into nutrient-rich compost, promoting hands-on environmental learning.

The school successfully organized its Alumni Reunion Programme, marking a significant milestone in strengthening institutional legacy and alumni engagement. The formal proceedings commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp led by the Principal along with Shri Brijesh Bhatore (Founding Faculty Member), Mr. Gaurav Srivastava(President Alumni Core Committee), and Mr. Udayendra Singh (Alumni Convenor), followed by a welcome address outlining the vision of structured alumni collaboration and long-term association with the school.

Milestone batches of 2000, 2005, and 2010 were felicitated in recognition of their professional achievements and continued connection with the institution. Special acknowledgment was extended to founding faculty members and active alumni contributors for their role in shaping the Alumni Association framework. VVV Maral Sarovar - Scout and Guide Activities

Scouts & Guides from Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar attended the camp at Maheshwar Ghat. The day began with a March Past Drill led by Mr. Vikky Chouhan, our Scout & Guide Trainer, showcasing discipline, synchronization, and team spirit. This was followed by an Advanced Knotting Session by Mr. Neeraj Sharma, Commissioner of M.P. Scouts & Guides, where students enthusiastically learned new knotting techniques and survival skills. Adding to the excitement, our young Scouts & Guides interacted with participants from Bhopal, sharing experiences, ideas, and stories that built lasting friendships.

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar organized a Career Guidance & Board Exam Preparation Session for students and parents to support academic readiness. The session was conducted by Mr. Gaurav Singh Solanki, Advisor, Mentor, and Director at TM Training and Development Institute Pvt. Ltd., who explained the 7Ps of exam readiness, effective study planning, disciplined learning, and smart revision strategies. Through the story of the rabbit and the tortoise, he emphasized consistency, fair competition, and self-confidence.

In her concluding address, the Principal urged students to sincerely implement the guidance shared. The session was informative and motivating, providing clear direction on exam preparation and career planning, and reinforcing the school’s commitment to student success.

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Students Shine at Aryabhat Foundation Workshop!

Three bright students from Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar, Agamya Joshi, Yuvraj Singh Chouhan and Pragyan Patel recently attended an enriching, four-day hands-on experiment workshop at the Aryabhat Foundation, Bhopal, from October 25-28, 2025. This immersive experience significantly expanded their scientific horizons. The students gained in-depth knowledge of telescopes, mastering their alignment, different types, and varied uses in astronomical observation. They also acquired practical skills in operating a solar box, further deepening their understanding of the universe. Expressing sincere gratitude to the school community, the students acknowledged this invaluable, career-shaping opportunity.

VVV Maral - Chess FIDE Rating Milestone

Shourya Pratap Singh Jadon from Vivikanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar achieved a major international milestone by opening his official FIDE rating at 1493 during the Sansad Cup All India Open Rapid Chess Tournament held in Chhindwara. In the same event, Ayush Dwivedi secured the 4th rank in the U-11 category. Furthermore, the school was honored with the "Best School Award" for having the maximum number of participants in the tournament.

VVV Maral - Class XII student Adityaraj Sharma secured the Gold Medal in the U-19 Boys cate

Class XII student Adityaraj Sharma secured the Gold Medal in the U-19 Boys category, while Class VIII student Mudit Patidar earned a Silver Medal in the U-14 Boys category defeating participants from 17 different schools.

VVV Maral - Winning of Silver Medal at SGFI State Level Netball Competition

Our young Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar champs Participated at the 69th SGFI State Level Netball Competition held at Mandeep, Raisen (1st–5th Nov 2025) and U-14 Boys Team showcased determination and teamwork, earning a Silver Medal in the grand finals against the Bhopal division.

VVV Maral - Academic Success in Professional Courses (CA & CS)

The school proudly recognizes the achievements of alumni Hansika Joshi, Diksha Rathore and Roshni Mandloi as they pursue careers in Chartered Accountancy (CA) and Company Secretaryship (CS). Hansika cleared her CS Entrance (2024) and is preparing for the CA Executive level. Diksha successfully cleared the CSEET on her first attempt, while Roshni completed her CA Foundation in September 2024 and is set for the CA Inter exam in 2025. Their success highlights the school's strong foundation in commerce education.

VKV Rishabhdev - Conducted Cybersecurity Awareness Session

A Cybersecurity Awareness Session was conducted by our esteemed alumnus, Mr. Deepraj Saini (Cybersecurity Officer, Batch 2018–19). He educated students about various online threats such as phishing and cyberbullying, and explained the Golden Rules of Cyber Safety in a simple and engaging manner. He also highlighted promising career opportunities in the field, including Ethical Hacker and Cyber Police Officer. Throughout the month, the school actively organized several awareness-related activities to promote safe and responsible digital practices among students.

VKV Rishabhdev - Educational Excursion

On Children’s Day, students participated in a guided visit to local temples, forts, and parks to explore and appreciate our cultural heritage. Teachers explained the historical significance of each site, enriching students’ learning beyond textbooks. The visit fostered curiosity, confidence, and respect for heritage, promoting responsible behavior and cleanliness. The initiative aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).

VKV Rishabhdev - Conducted 'Save Aravalli' and 'Plant Trees – Save the Environment' Drive

An awareness rally was organised at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev under the INTACH Heritage Club to promote conservation of the Aravalli mountain range. Students carried posters and raised slogans like “Save Aravalli” and “Plant Trees – Save the Environment,” spreading a strong message of ecological balance and resource protection. The rally successfully created public awareness and aligned with SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land).

VKV Rishabhdev - Performed Nukkad Natak on Human Rights Day Celebration

On 10 December, students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev (Class IX A & B) performed a Nukkad Natak at Rishabhdev Old Temple to spread awareness about fundamental human rights through impactful slogans.
