HO: Celebrating the Joy of Donating Blankets
There is no better gift than donating blankets. It is our great way of helping outreach the community. It can also make a great difference to an individual or an organization for these freezing nights. As part of the CSR activity, and an opportunity to serve the humanity, this New Year 2022 eve, a voluntary initiative from our HO staff was taken by distributing woollen blankets to office security guards and facility staff to protect and sustain themselves during extreme cold conditions. This has not only given us an opportunity to serve the humanity but has set an example towards sensitizing many others towards this noble cause.
Our security guards & facility staff were happy and appreciated this generous effort by the Head Office volunteers. They felt there is no better gift then providing blankets to them. All the workers were requested to use these warm blankets during cold waves or night shifts in winters for smooth functioning inside the office premises.
Kharigram: Blood Donation Camp
On 17th October 2021, an occasion of the Birthday of Syt LNJ Babu, a blood donation camp was organised in the Staff Club. Sh N.K. Bahedia, COO inaugurated the camp and welcomed to Doctors & Medical Team (Ramsnehi Hospital & Research Centre, Bhilwara). All the workers and staff members participated enthusiastically in this camp and donated 125 Units of Blood.
Lodha: Blood Donation Camp
On the birthday of Syt. LNJ Babu a blood donation camp was organised at Lodha Banswara. The M.G. Hospital staff facilitated the entire Camp with a team of Sr. doctors. A total of 20 Blood Units was donated by Staff as well as Workers & Contractors for a good cause. To motivate/encourage the donors Chief operating officer Shri. Yogesh Dutt Tiwari, Shri G L Kabra, Shri Balchand Gupta, Shri Satyakam Shrivastava, Shri Manoj Shah, and other team members were also present during the program. Shri Rakesh Gagrani and Shri Aditya Kumar Sharma were the coordinators of the blood donation camp. Blood donation was restricted by M.G. Hospital due to the scarcity of space in the blood bank.
Ringas: Blood Donation Camp
RSWM Ringas, with the participation of Mittal Memorial Seva Samiti, Sikar organized a blood camp on 21st Oct'21 on the occasion of the 94th Birthday of Syt LNJ Babu. All staff members and workers participated willingly in this noble cause. A total of 101 Unit of Blood was donated on this day and all blood donors were facilitated by both the organizers.
Ringas RPSF: Donation of Contributed Fund
Shri M.K. Yogi (COO) RPSF Ringas Division inaugurated District Hockey Competition in the Govt. School, Ringas and also donated a cheque of contributed fund Rs 33700/- for hokey sticks.
ADHPL: Local Yuvak Mandal Facilitated
ADHPL donated 25 chairs & 1 table to Fhali Naag Yuvak Mandal, Prini. The Yuvak Mandal had requested a donation of a few chairs and a table for use in routine activities in the village. Yuvak Mandal, Prini was thankful to ADHPL management for this social work.
ADHPL: Medical Equipment Donated to Civil Hospital, Manali
Under the banner of CSR initiatives, the company donated beds and other medical equipment to the Civil Hospital, Manali for the emergency ward which was earlier built by MPCL. The equipment will help in tackling the emergencies in a better way. The equipment was donated on 28th October 2021. The Senior Medical Officer I/C and other staff of Civil Hospital, Manali thanked ADHPL for this noble initiative.
The financial implication for this activity is approximately Rs. 0.20 Mn. In addition to this, ADHPL is also contributing towards running & maintenance expenses for the emergency ward and diagnostic laboratory to the same hospital.
ADHPL: Inauguration of Women Knitting Centre
The company opened a Knitting training centre for women at village Bahanu, Gram Panchayat, Jagatsukh, under CSR activities as yet another initiative to empower the local women of the area. Approximately 40 women will be trained from the local villages in the training centre. At the inaugural ceremony, the Pradhan and Panchayat members of Jagatsukh were present. The women of the villages were excited and thanked ADHPL for its selfless efforts in empowering women.
ADHPL: Support to Mahila Mandal
The company donated 25 chairs & 02 LPG cylinders with a gas stove to Bhuvneshwari Mahila Mandal, Jagatsukh as required by the women's self-help group through Pradhan of the Panchayat. The Mahila Mandal uses the equipment for the small functions organised in the village. The women of the self-help group thanked ADHPL management for this kind of help.
ADHPL: Donation of Save Environment Sign Boards
The village committee of Prini had requested to provide signboards for installation at conspicuous locations. Total 10 nos. of signboards with the message to keep the area clean and save the environment were donated to the village committee Prini for this green activity. The committee was overwhelmed with the efforts of ADHPL.
ADHPL: Donation of Water Cooler with Purifier to PHC Nagar
A water cooler with a purifier was donated to PHC Naggar on the request received from the Medical Officer PHC, Nagar. It was installed successfully on December 07, 2021. The water cooler with purifier will serve clean drinking, hot and cold water for the OPD, indoor patients, and their attendants at the hospital. Gram Panchayat Nagar and Medical officer PHC Nagger thanked ADHPL for this noble work.
ADHPL: Patients Treated at Dispensary in 2021
ADHPL is running a dispensary in village Prini of the project affected area. The dispensary caters to all the surrounding villages having provision for free medicines for the patients being treated. Approximately 3119 patients from local villages have been treated for different ailments in the dispensary from January to December 2021. In addition to this, the dispensary participates in the national level health program “Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization” every year wherein 113 children were vaccinated from the surrounding area.
ADHPL: Support to Aash Child Development Center
ADHPL under its CSR program is supporting Aash Child Development Center for intensive care and development of specially abled children in District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. On the occasion of closing ceremony of the therapy camp at Aash Child Development Center, Akhara Bazar, Kullu, Sh. R.K. Khaitan Vice President (F&A), ADHPL said “Disability is not a Curse”. Sh. Khaitan said we shall create an inclusive atmosphere for specially abled children and persons. The six days therapy camp was attended by 30 specially abled children along with local authorities.
ADHPL: Construction & Repairing of Aleo School Building
The repair works of Govt. Primary School, Aleo which included repair of the slab, flooring of rooms including verandah and stairs, plastering of boundary wall, painting of four rooms and kitchen, PVC flooring of office room, fixing of window shutters and electric works of the whole building which were planned to be executed this year, were completed under ADHPL CSR activities. The school was earlier built by ADHPL in 2007.
The work was carried out with the active support of the Civil department of ADHPL. Approx. Rs.0.35 Mn was spent on the repairs of the school building. The Principal of the school was thankful to ADHPL management for such social help.
ADHPL: Construction of Water Channel in Village Shuru
At the request of Pradhan of gram panchayat Prini, the Kuhal of village Shuru was constructed for a length of 94 m as planned for the current year. The kuhal serves as a supply line of water for different needs including irrigation of orchards for the village. The Kuhal runs through the center of the village 'Shuru'. Kuhal was broken at many places and didn’t carry sufficient water for daily needs. The pictures after repairs are attached and the expenditure incurred on this activity is Rs.0.45 Mn.
ADHPL: Plantation of 500 Deodar and Broad Leaf Saplings
ADHPL organized a plantation campaign at Khanool dumping site from 01st to 04th October 2021. During the campaign 500 plants of deodar and other broad-leaved species were planted by the employees. Plantation activities were carried out by maintaining physical distance, using face masks and hand sanitizers, given the COVID-19 pandemic.
MPCL: Plantation Drive
This year’s Drive-2 of the plantation was conducted on 30th December 2021 at village - Padei under Panchayat Jalugran, Kullu, HP. 500 no’s of plants of different species like Deodar, Kosh, Willow planted by MPCL staff with the help of Tara Mahila Mandal of village Padei and representative of Jalugran Panchayat, with adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
HEG: Community Feeding Program
COVID 19 has impacted the lives and livelihood of millions of underprivileged daily wagers and migrant laborers in India. To provide nutritious food, HEG decided to provide a cooked meal from Mega Kitchen Bhopal to the unprivileged section of the society to help them combat the economic effect of the pandemic.
On 27th October 2021, a Community feeding program was launched in Bhopal for the cause to ensure food & nutrition security for low-income families especially Children, where livelihoods have been affected by COVID.
This program was launched in the esteemed presence of Collector, District Magistrate, Shri Avinash Lavania, and Shri Manish Gulati, Executive Director, HEG limited. So far more than 1 lakh meals have been served across 20 odd centers across the city which was cooked in Akshay Patra’s mega kitchen.

The biggest effect of COVID on their daily life – They don’t have any regular source of income because of lockdown and with old age & poor health its difficult to find a suitable vocation.
Jawahar Foundation: Inauguration of Jawahar Yoga and Dhyan Kendra
Jawahar Foundation constructed Jawahar Yoga and Meditation Centre in Sikar, Rajasthan to promote the adaptation of mental health and overall wellbeing practices. This centre has been constructed by Jawahar Foundation in Sikar Reserve Police Line for police officials.
A govt appointed coach will take regular yoga and dhyana sessions at the centre which will help promote the overall health of the staff and their families living in the premises. The centre was inaugurated on 4th December 2021 by Govind Singh Dotasra, President, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee and MLA Sikar, and Riju Jhunjhunwala, Founder, Jawahar Foundation and CMD, RSWM Ltd.
Jawahar Foundation: Felicitated with Mewar Gaurav Samman 2021
Jawahar Foundation received the Mewar Gaurav Samman 2021 by First India News Rajasthan at a recognition ceremony held in Bhilwara on 22nd December 2021.
The event felicitated over 40 people and organisations that did exemplary work in the district’s fight against COVID in 2020 and 2021. Chief guest Revenue minister Ramlal Jat said that the contribution given by the people from all communities and political parties during the pandemic was very valuable.
Jawahar Foundation: Food & Toys to 500 Needy Kids on Children's Day
The foundation donated food packets and toys to underprivileged kids to mark the Children’s Day celebration on Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru’s 132nd birth anniversary. The event took place at Swabhiman Bhoj, Ajmer where 500 children were served food freshly prepared in the kitchen.
Founder, Riju Jhunjhunwala spoke to the kids via video conferencing and inspired them with Pt Nehru’s life story and achievements. He announced the foundation’s new initiative to provide every possible support to girls up to 14 years of age as part of the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ program. The kids were also gifted toys and other sports equipment.
Jawahar Foundation: Swabhiman Bhoj Kitchen Opens in Ajmer & Banswara
With the vision of opening several Swabhiman Bhoj branches across the state, the foundation’s founder, Mr. Riju Jhunjhunwala started two new branches of its popular Swabhiman Bhoj program, in the cities of Ajmer and Banswara. Swabhiman Bhoj program is a chain of community kitchens serving nutritious meals at a nominal Re 1 to everyone. Mr. Lalji Desai, National President, All India Congress Sewa Dal, along with Mr. Jhunjhunwala, inaugurated the Ajmer branch located in Dua market, Alwar Gate, Ajmer. The event was attended by more than 1,200 people.
Swabhiman Bhoj, Banswara was inaugurated by MLA Shri Arjun Singh Bamaniya on the same day. The event attracted 400 locals who were addressed by the regional leaders and Mr. Bamaniya himself.
Jawahar Foundation: Deluxe Toilet Complex Constructed in JTI, Ajmer
The Jail Training Institute (JTI) in Ajmer needed a toilet complex in its huge training grounds. This ground is heavily used for training practices, events, and parades. However, the lack of a proper toilet facility became a point of discomfort which was brought to Mr. Riju Jhunjhunwala's notice during a tree plantation drive at the complex sometime ago. Soon after the city-wise lockdowns eased out, the foundation started on the construction work for this complex. On Oct 13th, the building was inaugurated by Mr. Lalji Desai and Mr. Riju Jhunjhunwala.
Jawahar Foundation: Health Camp Organised at Bhilwara
A medical health checkup camp was organised at the Bhilwara branch of Swabhiman Bhoj in Gajadhar Mansinghka Dharamshala in association with Bhilwara City Lions Club and Mahatma Gandhi Hospital under the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Nishulk Janch Yojana. This scheme was started in 2013 to provide quality essential diagnostic services in all government health care institutions and contribute to the fundamental Right to Health.
The camp tested the visitors’ blood pressure, blood sugar, DLC, TLC, hemoglobin, etc. The SDM, Om Prabha inspected the operations and appreciated the initiative by calling out other social service organisations to come forward and plan such camps frequently so the city residents can timely receive curative health care.
