RSWM’S Exclusivity Partnership with Eastman, USA

RSWM Limited entered a contractual engagement with U.S.A based giant Eastman Chemical Company. Earning exclusivity rights to manufacture their specialty NAIA, a Cellulose Acetate Fibre in various blends.

A wide range of sustainability products with inclusion of NAIA in grey as well as dyed yarn products was displayed at recently held Premier Vision Exhibition in Paris on 16^th – 18^th September, 2019. Another great & proud moment came when Eastman formally launched NAIA fibre for spun yarn application in Paris on 17^th September 2019, with high praise for RSWM’s proactive & fully committed efforts to take on this challenge to new heights.

RSWM: All India Wholesale Dealers Conference

The conference was organised on 7^th & 8^th July, 2019 at Fariyas Resort, Lonavala. The event was inaugurated by Shri B.M. Sharma, Joint Managing Director, RSWM Ltd. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Mukul Awasthi, Vice President-Marketing and All India Agents & Dealers. During the conference, the trade partners were excited and praised the efforts of the company, seeing the new development of 'Cannello' brand and 'Mayur'. 

The large range of PV, PC and linen in Exotic Blend of Khadi base fabric for all-season wear in attractive colors was on display, which was appreciated by the traders and attracted a lot of interest. Along with this, a wide range of tweed collections, stretch fabric collections and aromas collections were liked by the traders.

Shri B.M.Sharma took one-to-one feedback from all the traders coming to the conference about company products offered by the company so that it could benefit in the upcoming development and planning.

All the traders appeared fully confident and excited after the conference.

RSWM: Mayur Retail Conference - Goa

Mayur had organised grand retail conference from 7^th to 11^th August 2019 at Goa's Five Star Hotel Vivanta By Taj. It was inaugurated by Mr. Mukul Awasthi, Vice President-Marketing, Mayur, by lighting the lamp in the presence of dealers and retailers.

During the conference, the new fabric produced by the company as well as the quality fabrics of the entire range of Mayur were displayed. The entire range offered by Mayur for the upcoming season was very well received by the retailers especially the wide range of TRs.

Around 300 retailers from the states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana etc. participated in the conference and made the conference a success.

RSWM: Opening of New Mayur Outlet

Mayur have opened one more exclusive brand outlet (EBO) at Bapu Bazar, Udaipur, Rajasthan on 29^th September, 2019. The inauguration of the outlet was done by Mr Mukul Awasthi, Vice President (Marketing), Mayur & Mr K.K. Gupta, Chairman, Nagar Parishad; Dungarpur was present on this occasion as Chief Guest. Many more honourable persons from the city were present on this occasion.

LNJ Denim: Participation in “DENIMS AND JEANS SHOW”

The third edition of Denims and Jeans Show, India was held at Hotel The Lalit Ashok, Banglore on 17^th & 18^th July, 2019.  It is a platform where the large Indian denim industry come together and attract attention of global denim community with their latest products and designs. 

LNJ Denim had participated in it and showcased our Latest AW-20/21 Collection to the Customers. The foot fall was very much encouraging, approx. 50 potential Brands / Customers visited our stand and witnessed the Collection. The customer response was superb and every team member was so cherished with this kind of footfall.

LNJ Denim: Visit of Shri Shantanu Agarwal

During the visit of Shri Shantanu Agarwal to LNJ Denim unit on 2^nd August, 2019, Shri Suketu Shah - Business Head welcomed him with open arms and took him on a tour of Denim facility to elaborate & explain the entire Denim manufacturing process. He appreciated the facilities and products of the Denim unit. Shri Shantanu ji was really impressed by seeing various new products and also complimented the working environment inside the plant.

LNJ Denim: Udaan Project Members Meeting with CHRO

On 5^th July, 2019 a meeting was conducted at LNJ Denim Admin Conference Hall with all Udaan Project members of Denim, Fabric & TPP unit. The meeting was chaired by Shri Manoj Sharma – CHRO. It was a very interactive session with all participants who had expressed their views on learning through Udaan Project. In the session various points had been discussed in brief & same is conveyed.

At the end of session CHRO had given an idea about “Harkat me Barkat” & also shared number of example to get motivated employees and how to make good working environment at workplace etc.

LNJ Denim: Participation in “GARTEX 2019, New Delhi

The Gartex is a comprehensive tradeshow on garment & textile machinery. LNJ Denim had participated in “GARTEX 2019, New Delhi on 10^th  to 11^th August, 2019. We had showcased our Latest AW-20/21 Collection to the Customers and response from them was really overwhelming. 

LNJ Denim: Kavad Yatra

Kavad Yatra is an auspicious pilgrimage observed by Lord Shiva’s devotees every year. By Chanting of Bol Bham Bol & Om Namahshivaya the environment becomes very devotional. Each Kavadia (devotees) does the Abhishek of lord Mahadeva.

RSWM Mordi staff members participated with great enthusiasm by offering refreshment to devotees on 11^th August, 2019. They believe that it is the most auspicious time and every wish of the devotee is said to be granted by lord Shiva.  

LNJ Denim: PACT Assessment with Levi’s Team and Consultants

LNJ Denim is always ready to walk one step ahead. In line with that, it took an initiative approach for cleaner textile thorough an assessment process which is ‘PaCT (Partnership for Cleaner Textile) Assessment’ with collaboration by Levi’s Team & DESL Team. Team has checked the performance of company on 23 category and given the score.

The Baseline assessment was done on 05/09/2018 & our company scored 76% score - i.e 3.8 out of 5.0

End line assessment was done on 22/08/2019 & our company scored 93%  score-- i.e 4.7 out of 5.0

It helps us to find appropriate way to save energy, water chemical consumption. Also gives us the better knowledge for very best practices in daily routine work.   

LNJ Denim: Levi's Social & Environmental Audit

LNJ Denim unit went through Levi's Social & Environmental audit from 27^th to 29^th August, 2019. Levi's CR 360 2016 Data Checklist Verification done by BV auditor Shri Anil Chaudhari & audited the systems and processes of the entire unit for three days and the certification continues after successful completion of the audit. It was supported by HODs and their respective teams for successful conduct of the audit. 

LNJ Denim: Annual Tour to North East

Our Group believes in a positive and energetic work environment and therefore an Annual trip was organized for LNJ Denim & Fabric’s staff and their family members in Six batches in Aug, 2019 to September 2019, to North East. The first tour of 75 members travelled from 19th Aug, 2019 to 24th Aug,2019 and the last group also comprising 85 members visited Noth East in September, 2019. In this tour, total 511 Member ( 217 Denim & 294 Fabric) enjoyed the trip with full enthusiasm. The destinations covered were Darjeeling, Tiger Hill, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Ghoom Monastery, Sikkim, Namchi, Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir, Nathula and Pelling. 

Everyone in all the groups enjoyed themselves thoroughly. They were mesmerised by the natural beauty of North east & really it was unforgettable. It was so nice bringing the family together at such a beautiful location & was wonderful having the opportunity to get to know each other on better way. This was a much needed break from the daily hustle-bustle. It was rejuvenating and trips like these work as 'Sanjivani' for the tired mind and body.

Kharigram: Visit of M/s Global Tex, Belgium

Mr Philippe Demmar from Global Tex, Belgium visited Kharigram unit on 8^th July, 2019. Mr. R. K. Soni, DGM-QA and Mr. Sandep Rohilla DGM- NPD welcomed them. They visited our dyed and grey unit which was concluded by visiting SJ-11 unit. They were very happy with our hospitality and to see our modern setup and commented “A good professional team that handles customer, expectation in the right way, Good Factory”.

Kharigram: Long Service Award

RSWM always believes in the philosophy of Employees’ care and healthy working environment and it can be observed by a long employment journey with full dedication by Employees. Kharigram  unit got witnessed on dated 16^th August, 2019 for employees’ devotion with their long employment journey. In this Award ceremony, one staff was present who completed more than 25 years and eight staff who have completed more than 10 years in this company. It was a proud moment for staff and management both. Shri V R Joshi, COO, Shri Ashish Kumar Pandey, HR Head and all HODs were present in this function. Appreciation certification was distributed to all concerned and Shri VR Joshi congratulated  staff members and announced that they are our Assets for the company. 

Kharigram: Visit of M/s Textil A.A.A. Riga Latvia

Mr Vleadislav Milosf & Mr. Alexander Kopilov from M/s AAA Textil, Riga Latvia visited Kharigram unit on 29^th July, 2019. Mr. V. R. Joshi, COO and Mr. Bipendra Verma DGM- Production welcomed them. They took round of our grey and dyed units which ended with SJ-11 unit. They have also shown keen interest in New Products which was shown to them during the meeting. They marked a good comment “Thank you for very interesting review. All the works inside the unit is impressive. Best wishes and further growth in sales”.

Kharigram: Visit of Mr. Rene Van Schie, Europe

Mr. Rene Van Schie, from  Europe  visited Kharigram unit on 24^th August, 2019. Mr. Bipendra Verma DGM- Production & Mr. Sandep Rohilla DGM- NPD welcomed them. They visited our SJ-11 unit. They were very satisfied with this visit and given comments”Impressed, well organised and clean resulting in top products. Sure will give positive advised to the customers!.”After SJ 11 round, they visited at our NPD setup and expressed their interest in our new developments.

In one such experience, below are the images from visit of our prestigious customer M/s HYUNDAI STEEL & M/s POSCO to HEG LTD in recent months. Their kind gesture and the trust they have shown on HEG has enthralled us and testify the beautiful long term relation we have and we will have in the time to come.

HEG: Bhoomi Pujan for 100 K Expansion

Bhoomi Pooja is an important ritual devoted to the earth. It is necessary to worship the land before the start of construction work. As the company embarks on expanding the plant capacity from 80,000 tons to 100,000 tons, a Bhoomi Pujan and ground breaking ceremony held on 10^th July, 2019 at HEG plant premises and it was attended by all senior executives of the plant. This expansion is expected to come in to commercial production by early 2022.

HO: Annual Trip to Goa – The “Rome of East”

LNJ Bhilwara Group believes that happy employees are the very foundation which makes a happy working environment within a company, and company annual trips are one of the things that can bring moments of joy and happiness to them. Therefore an annual trip is organised every year for the employees to make them feel relax and spend some quality time with their families away from daily hustle-bustle of the city. This year, Goa - land of sun, sand, temple, churches, forts and beaches was the chosen tourist destinations by our corporate office as part of its annual tour from September 28^th to 1^st October, 2019.

Goa; tourism hub of India is called affectionately by various names such as “Rome of East” or “Pearl of the Orient” which aptly describes its perception in the eyes of an international tourist. Located along the western coast of India, just below the state of Maharashtra, this state is renowned for its rich cultural history and delectable cuisine, it’s happening nightlife and buzzing flea markets which caught the attention of tourists at an international level.

The voyage started with a flight journey from Delhi to Goa airport on 28^th September, 2019 early morning in various batches having different flights. The flights landed at the beautiful Goa airport in the afternoon soon after the others, buses were waiting there to take all the employees to hotel. In the evening, soon after reaching hotel, a pool party was organised for employees at 7 pm inside the hotel premises which everybody enjoyed at their fullest with their family members. After the amazing pool party, Dinner was served at hotel area around 8 PM and everyone had delicious dinner which ended at 10 PM.

The next day i.e. 29th September, 2019 started with morning breakfast at 8 AM and soon after that everyone left from hotel for North Goa Sightseeing which includes; Fort Aguada, Light House, Sinquerim Beach, Calangute Beach, Vagator Beach and Chapora Fort. The lunch was served at hotel in between North Goa Sightseeing. In the evening, a beachside party was organised with some music, dance & snacks which really an eye catching thing. Dinner was also served at the beachside in a little while after the evening party and everyone left for the hotel to end a memorable day.     

We started the next day, 30^th September, 2019 with a delicious breakfast at hotel and everyone left for South Goa Sightseeing at 10 AM which covers; Mangueshi Temple, Old Goa Church, Old Goa Museum, Miramar Beach and Dona Paula Beach. After visiting Old Goa Museum, the lunch arrangements were at nearby local restaurant for all and everyone enjoyed the meals. A cruise party with DJ Setup was also organised for employees, which was really an exciting thing to watch and everyone danced to the tunes of DJ songs with full liveliness. The electrifying day ended with a delicious dinner served at hotel.

On the last day of the tour i.e. 1^st October, 2019 the breakfast was served at 8 AM and everyone checked out the hotel at 12 Noon and went to close by local market for some shopping. The lunch was served to all at around 2 PM and then the buses moved directly towards Goa airport for return flights to Delhi and everybody reached back to home safely. This Goa tour was one of the most thrilling & memorable experience for all. Everyone was feeling re-energized and lively.  

HO: Yoga & Fitness Camp

A Yoga Session Camp was introduced  for employees on every Tuesday which started from 10^th September, 2019 under the guidance of Shri Prerit Jha, a fitness trainer for the period one hour in the evening.

The session focuses on Yoga Stretch Asans, Stress Management and Meditation which will support in experiencing the power of deep, easeful breathing to quiet our mind and bring fitness & flexibility to the body. Employees appreciated this initiative taken by LNJ Bhilwara Group to relax our body and mind from daily work routine and to make our life stress free. 

Ringas: Picnic Tour

The Staff Club, Ringas, organized a one day picnic for the staff and their families to Angel Resort, Jaipur in two batches on 11^th August, 2019 and 18^th August, 2019. The swimming, rain dance, musical chair, housie, musical evening, with solo singing by local singer were the attraction of the trip along with delicious brunch and dinner. Everyone was really happy and feeling refreshed with their loved ones during this outing. The Club President Shri S.D. Aggarwal and Secretary Shri Rohit Chordia along with other senior members conveyed best wishes for the happy family life of staff members.

Ringas: Visit of Shri Swamy Sumedhanand Saraswati

The honourable MP, Sikar constituency Shri Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati, visited RSWM- Ringas Unit on 7^th July, 2019.  It was an honour for the entire RSWM Ringas team who came to welcome our distinguished guest. Shri Avinash Bhargava, COO welcomed him with a garland and  bouquet. During the address of Swami Ji to the Staff Members, their Spouses, Female & Male Workers he conveyed about work and family life balance. To the Children and Staff Members he conveyed that God has given us the birth for one time and it always give opportunity in different ways to perform in our work area and society therefore we should deliver 100% of our capabilities.

ADHPL: 3rd EQHS MRCM

3^rd EQHS management review committee meeting of IMS for the certification year 2018-19 was held in August 2019, at ADHPL conference hall. All section in-charges (committee members) presented the EQHS performance of their departments in the MRCM. The observations of the EQHS audit were discussed in detail in the meeting.

ADHPL: Re-certification of IMS Conducted Successfully

Re-certification audit of integrated management system (EMS, QMS & OH&SMS) was completed successfully. The audit was held through September 24 and 25, 2019 by the lead auditor of certification agency, Mr. Amar Shukla (lead auditor) & others. The entire plant was audited and as part of audit, various facilities of ADHPL were visited and interaction held with different employees of ADHPL to assess the implementation of management systems compatible to ISO 9001; 2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001: 2018.  ISO 45001:2018, being the latest OH&S Management System introduced by ISO, was implemented by ADHPL for the first time and now it was audited during this certification audit.

Mandapam: Customer Visit from M/s Shivalik Prints

Mr. Bharat Kapoor of M/s. Shivalik Prints, Delhi visited on 17^th July 2019 and was accompanied by Mr. Vikas Raghav. He was welcomed by our plant team headed by COO Mr. Ashwani Mittal. Apart from conducting an audit of our units for Claimed Material Assessment (GRS), he took the round of Mandpam as well as Kanyakheri unit and appreciated both the plants for their process and advanced facilities.

Mandapam: Customer Visit - M/s Eurocentra, Bangladesh

Mr. Rajib Mia & Mr Kowshick San our customers from M/s Eurocentra, Bangladesh visited the unit on 17^th September 2019. He was accompanied by Mr. Sudarshan Samdani and was welcomed by plant team headed by COO Mr. Ashwani Mittal. Apart from conducting an audit they visited our plant & saw our zero-discharge facility and also interested in recycled products & appreciated this kind of facility in the plant.

Mandapam: Melangeshwar Mahadev Anniversary

On the auspicious occasion of 16^th Anniversary of “Melangeshwar Mahadev” (21^st July, 2019), a special puja was performed in Melangeshwar temple and Bhajans were conducted. The Programme was organized by Melange staff Club under the guidance Sh. Ashwani  Mittal, Sh. S.P. Yadav and other members of Melange Staff Club. The programme went very well and also appreciated by all.

Mandapam: Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony

The Foundation stone laying ceremony for construction of male & female workers Hostel performed at Mandapam unit on 11^th July, 2019. The foundation stone was laid by Shri Ashwani Mittal, COO amidst the presence of staff members.

Mandapam: Movie Shows

Two Movie shows were organized under the Melange Staff club activity on dated 25^th August 2019 at Miraj Cinemall, Bhilwara (Movie – Mission Mangal) & dated 7^th July 2019 at Staff club (Movie – Kesari). All the staff members enjoyed the movie show with their family members and gave excellent review on films.

Lodha: Picnic Day

The staff club, Mayur Nagar Lodha organized one day picnic for the staff at Nilkanth Dham-Poicha & Statue of Unity in three batches during August month. All the staff members with their families enjoyed all the locations and got the blessings from a well known Swami Narayan temple Poicha. The delicious breakfast & Lunch was organized at the place for all. Everyone enjoyed this trip with their family and thanked the management and staff club for memorable trip.

Banswara: Village Tour

RSWM Lodha unit employees, Sh G.L. Kabra, Sh Vikram Singh, Sh Aditya Sharma, Sh A.K. Saini, Sh Dilip Singh, Ms Shayama Kunwar, Mrs Neeru and other trainers visited village Kushalpura on 20^th July, 2019. This team had a meeting with local villagers and sarpanch regarding below agendas.

• Increased attendance of workman
• Increased recruitment of male & female workforce
• Rejoining of left workman
• Awareness of company facilities

Rishabhdev: Consortium Meeting of Bankers

The Bankers’ Consortium Meeting was held at Rishabhdev unit on 17^th September, 2019. The senior officials from all leading banks, viz. SBI, ICICI, PNB, BOB, EXIM Bank and Yes bank attended the meet. Shri B.M. Sharma, JMD, Shri J. K. Manghani, Dy. CFO & Shri Rakesh Jain, Dy.GM were present from Corporate Finance Department.  Representing the unit, Shri K. B. Khatod, COO and Shri Narendra Bhandari, GM (Comml.) attended the meeting. Various financial issues related to the company were discussed during the meet. The unit’s presentation was given by the COO and overall presentation was given by Shri Rakesh Jain. The JMD and Dy. CFO replied to various queries raised by the bankers. The Plant visit was also done by the Bank officials and appreciated for the good house keeping.  

Rishabhdev: One Day Picnic

The staff club of RSWM Rishabhdev organized One Day Picnic to Nagfani in two different batches in the month of August, 2019. The staff & family members participated in large numbers and they enjoyed the trip with full of excitement.

TPP: Medical Health Check-up Camp

TPP Organized Annual Medical Health Checkup Camp in plant premises from 16^th to 19^th August, 2019 for Staff and workmen. Health checks were conducted as TPP is being Red Category Industry, so health check of all employees is also mandatory as per statutory guide lines also. The Homeopathy Chikitsa sewa samiti President (Dr. Sanjay Gupta) arranged the medical unit of 10 medical and paramedical staff.

The Medical check-ups were according to Industry Health Hazard (PME) including BMI, GIT, Lungs test, Urine test, Pathology test, Blood allergy, Spiro metric test, Audiometric test and X-Ray etc. All the Programme was conducted by Head Safety B.S. Bhati.          

TPP: Annual Tour

TPP Staff club organized two days tour to Statue of Unity and Poicha (Gujarat) in the month of September 2019 for TPP staff and their family members. The trip had gone in two batches, First batch boarded the bus on dated 7^th & 8^th September 2019 with 44 members and second batch on dated 14^th & 15^th September 2019 with 48 members. Both the trip buses were proceeded with whole method of worship. Both the groups enjoyed a lot with family members while visiting Statue of Unity & Poicha natural beauty and they roamed a lot of place like Sardar Sarovar Dam, Front view of Dam, Valley of Flower, Nilkanth (Swami Narayan) temple, Swimming Pool and Tadamtaal at Poicha etc. Especially the family members of staff were feeling very blissful and their happiness was read by their faces.

BMD: Inter Staff Tournament

A inter staff tournament of carom & chess was organized for staff members of BMD unit. Many staff members participated in this tournament with full of enthusiasm which was great to watch. The winner of the tournament will represent the BMD unit in Inter Unit Tournament organized by Rishabhdev unit.
