HEG: HIV/AIDS Awareness Building Program
On December 5th, 2023, an HIV/AIDS awareness program was held at HEG Ltd, Mandideep. Employees across the shops had attended the program.
To ensure widespread visibility, informative posters were strategically positioned throughout the entire plant. Additionally, a comprehensive awareness session was held in the company's auditorium, aiming to educate and engage all employees in understanding the importance of HIV/AIDS prevention and support.
HEG: Industrial Visit by SHIM Students
To give the industrial exposure to the Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management students, HEG gave a chance to the students to visit the campus and gain the learning’s regarding the overall general process of the Electrode Manufacturing.
This gives a platform for the students to groom themselves and can fill them with the core knowledge about the manufacturing process.
HEG always encourages the learning and development for the students as well, so that in future the talent could find its way to meet a desired destination.
RSWM Corporate HR : Empowered Leadership: Transformative Conclusion of the ALP at IIM Indore
As our eight Sr. Executives wrap up the Accelerated Leadership Programme (ALP) at IIM Indore, it's clear they've undergone a game-changing experience. Over the past 8 months (Course duration), the program has enhanced their leadership skills, preparing them to tackle the challenges of the business world with confidence.
The ALP's mix of personal coaching session by expert, online classes and on-campus class room studies learned from real-world case studies, and gained insights from industry leaders. After completion of the course, a significant change observed by the participants and quite enthusiasm to implement in their day to day working.
They now have a certification and a professional network from IIM Indore. This network offers ongoing opportunities for learning and growth throughout their careers.

RSWM Lodha : Workshop for Truetzschler Blow Room and Cards
On October 28th, 2023, Mr. Mahesh Panchal (Head of Service) Truetzschler India (P) Ltd., conducted a workshop at RSWM Lodha. The workshop focused on the Truetzschler blow room and cards, with Mr. Panchal providing detailed explanations of various tools and techniques associated with the machines.
Kharigram : Training on “Aspects/Impacts of Humidification & Water Treatment
A training cum awareness programme on Aspects / Impacts - Humidification & Water Treatment was organised on 07th November, 2023 which was presented by Mr B K Singhal Sr. GM-Engineering. During this awareness session he elaborated different aspects of Humidification & Water Treatment and what are the impacts over process. Officers of Engineering Department, New product development, Spinning and Post Spinning departments were covered in this programme.
Kharigram : Fire Drill Conducted
To check the awareness and response of the emergency response team, a Fire Drill was conducted on 25th November, 2023 in the worker hostel arA firefightingting awareness session was also done to aware workmen abouthe t use of fire extinguishers and Emergency equipment. Sh Dileep Chourasia, Sr. Manager-Safety conducted this drill. He explained about the process of safety in emergency situations.
Kharigram : Fire Fighting training program
Fire fighting training program along with drills is conducted for staff members of the Kharigram unit on a monthly basis. A fire fighting training program was conducted for staff members of our new mélange unit HJ-21 on 12th October 2023 by Plant Safety Manager Sh. Dileep Kumar Chourasia in which 29 staff members were educated on fire fighting further all members were detailed about the use of fire equipment installed in factory premises with a live drill. Fire safety training is essential as it will assist learners in understanding the various possibilities and causes of fire formation, identifying fire hazards, particularly in workplace environments, and familiarizing themselves with fire safety devices such as different types of fire extinguishers, fire alarms; fire control mechanisms, emergency evacuation plans; and mock drills, which involve a series of active steps, etc. to prevent fire hazards.
Fire Drill Sessions
To spread the awareness among staff and workmen, 3 fire drills were conducted on 25th Oct, 2023, 25th Nov. 2023 & 25th Dec. 2023 on Dry Drill and Wet Drill. During the drill the safety officer explained about the process of safety and to control the emergency situations and mitigate the fire.
LNJ Knits : Fire Hose Drill
At the RSWM knits division, all the staff, workers, and security personnel are given fire hose drill and firefighting training every month, the main objective of which is to make people aware and enable them to protect life and property in any emergency situation.
LNJ Knits : Fire Fighting at Banswara
In KNITS Division, we conducted a firefight training for all employees or workers, where we had the real fact of fire and then we conducted control training following all safety norms, during this session company allowed us clearance and provided all necessary facilities to our participants not only this after successfully completion, management conduct small get together session where participant awarded by surprising gift.
RSWM Mandpam : Training on Fire & Safety
A training program on Fire & Safety was organized by the Mandpam Unit on 14th October 2023. The main objective was to clarify the role of industrial safety and how it’s importance in day-to-day working. Shri Anil Kumar (Sr. Engineer – Fire & Safety) was the faculty for this training program.
LNJ Denim & Knits : Training - ISO – 45001:2018
A training session on ISO 45001:2018 was conducted on 13th & 14th Oct, 2023. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp & prayer by Shri Suketu Shah –BH. The two-day training program was provided to our LNJ Denim & Knits employees. A total of 25 employees participated in the program. It was imparted by Sh. Sushil Sharma from BSI. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the new ISO 45001:2018’s requirement in the plant & how it is working in the plant after implementation. ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance. It was concluded with a written examination & explored the feedback from all participants. It was a great learning experience for the employees. All the participants were observed highly appreciative of the program.
Mandapam : Training on Fire Fighting & Use of Fire Hydrant Systems
A training program on Fire Safety & use of Fire Hydrant Systems was organized at Mandpam Unit on 19th December 2023.
The main objective was to create awareness for the use of fire hydrant systems at the time of fire. Shri Anil Kumar (Sr. Engineer – Fire & Safety) was the faculty for this training program.
Maral Sarovar : Workshop for Marketing Team
The entire team of Domestic & Export marketing of Maral Sarovar paid a visit to the Maral Sarovar plant on 3rd November 2023 for a plant visit and interaction with the plant team. During this visit, on 4th November a workshop on FIRO-B (Fundamental Interpersonal Relationship Orientation – Behavior conducted by Shri Manoj Thakker, Vice President (HR). The team appreciated the contents of this workshop and opined that it will help in improving interpersonal relationships to a great extent.
Maral Overseas Noida : Training on POSH
To create & provide a safe and healthy workplace for female employees at our factory premises, our Welfare staff participated in an awareness training program on POSH , which was organized by a third-party agency regarding POSH Workshop on 7th November 2023 at NCW Auditorium, Jasola Vihar, New Delhi.
Maral Overseas Noida : Awareness about floor discipline & Team alignment session
To create & provide a safe, healthy & maintaining floor discipline at the workplace for our employees in the factory premises, an awareness training session has been imparted by Mr. Mrityunjay Choudhary (HR & Compliance) on “Awareness about floor discipline & Team alignment session’’ on 04th Nov 2023.
Maral Overseas Noida : Training on POSH
To create & provide a safe and healthy workplace for female employees at our factory premises, an awareness training session has been imparted by Mr. Mrityunjay Choudhary to our employees on “ POSH ’’ on 20th Nov 2023 at D-347.
Maral Overseas Noida : Evacuation & Fire Mock Drill
A Mock Drill was conducted on 04th Non., 2023 through a third party to check the preparedness planning, responses, and effectiveness of the emergency response plan. Before execution, a meeting was also conducted with HODs / Section In-charges to discuss the roles and responsibilities during the earthquake. The drill was conducted effectively at D-347.
Maral Overseas Noida : Grievance redressal committee
To fulfil the legal & customers audit requiring parameter/standards at our unit and provide an open platform to employees to raise theirs daily grievance for solution, a committee meeting has been conducted on “Grievance Committee’’ on 18th Nov., 2023 at D-347.
ADHPL : 2nd EQHS MRCM _FY 2022-23
Management Review Committee Meeting of IMS was held on October 06, 2023, in the ground floor conference hall ofthe Admin block at ADHPL. All section in-charges, committee members & workers from different departments participated in the meeting.
ADHPL : 1st Surveillance audit of IMS Completed
1st Surveillance audit of IMS (Integrated Management System) was completed successfully on 11th October 2023. The audit was conducted online by the Auditor from the certifying agency. During the audit, the auditors inspected all the relevant documents pertaining to IMS and also interacted with different department in-charges and employees of ADHPL. After the completion of the audit, the auditor from the certifying agency recommended ADHPL for the continuation of certification of IMS for another year.
ADHPL : Tier-2 Emergency Preparedness Drill on Earthquake
A tier-2 mock drill on earthquake was conducted on October 10, 2023 by ADHPL involving all departments, colony residents and Civil Fire-fighting department, Manali to test emergency preparedness & response planning, the effectiveness of existing communication system and skills of firefighting & rescue team. The Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Prini, people in the vicinity, staff of the cascading hydro power plants located in the downstream of TRT and local administration were also informed about the mock drill.
The scenario was that an earthquake struck Manali, damages have occurred in Power House (PH), there is rock fall at many places inside PH, Main Access Tunnel (MAT) has collapsed at RD200 due to earthquake. The personnel on duty inside the PH were evacuated through cable cum ventilation shaft. The mock drill went as planned and all the parties including Civil Firefighting team, Manali took part actively in the drill.
ADHPL : Risk Assessment of Public Safety around Dams, Reservoirs, and Watercourse Systems
A comprehensive review of the Risk Assessment for Public Safety around Dams, Reservoirs, and Watercourse Systems was recently undertaken by a team comprising members from the Site Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) as well as the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team. The team also included the HSE manager from ADHPL Corporate and Mr. Sudhir Naithani from StatKraft. The review involved site visits to all pertinent assets and areas, and based on the observations made during this activity, specific remedial measures have been recommended for implementation.
MPCL : Mock Drill on Earthquake
MPCL conducted a tier 2 Mock Drill on 13th December 2023 to check its Emergency Preparedness & Response Planning in all project components and finalized the Mock Drill scenario in collaboration with the District Fire Brigade Department, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.
Pradhan (Head) of the Local Panchayat and Police Staff were also present during the mock drill.
MPCL : Organized Awareness Program at School
MPCL has organized an awareness program on personal hygiene at La Montessori School on 4th December 2023.
A Medical Officer from CHC, Jari addressed the students about personal hygiene, especially during the menstruation period. The session was very interactive, students were fully involved and the program was followed by sanitary pads distribution.
MPCL : Organized a Fire Fighting Training at La Montessori School
MPCL organized training on firefighting basic techniques at La Montessori School, Doonkhara within MPCL premises on 13th December, 2023 for school staff and students.
The objective of this training is to educate them with firefighting basic skills for Emergency Preparedness & Response. Training conducted by the Fire Officer of Himachal Fire Department Jari, Kullu.
Workshop on Productivity improvement
Shri Jaideep Singh, Regional Director from Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Worker Education and Development conducted a workshop on 27th October, 2023 on topic `Productivity improvement - a way of life’ attended by twenty eight staff from various departments. All the participants were of the opinion that the programme was very interesting and knowledge enriching.
