PTM and other activities

On the 9th of October 2023 a Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) was held for the students of Nursery to XII. The parents learnt about their child’s progress this term and the teachers shared their plans and strategies for further development of each child's overall performance.

An SDG Art Exhibition was also organized to create awareness about the environmental changes that the world is facing and actions that can be taken to reduce pollution and degradation of the environment.

Along with this, a few fun activities and workshops were also organized for the students and parents, who participated whole heartedly and enjoyed themselves to the fullest. Parents and children enjoyed the Garba Workshop and A Newspaper Crafts Workshop Students and parents learned how to make bags, boxes and a dustbin out of newspapers and also participated in Karaoke stage event.

The parents shared very positive feedback and were appreciative of the teachers and schools attempts to bring about an improvement in their child’s performance.

The meeting helped to create a better understanding between parents and teachers fostering a harmonious relationship between all parties.  

VVV Maral Sarovar : Parents Counseling & Orientation Session

‘Children are not things to be molded, but are people to be unfolded.’

With this thought in mind, Vivekanand Vidya Vihar organized a special Parents Counseling & Orientation Session where school counselor Dr. Ali Hussaini conducted a parents counseling session. The parents learned about the significant impact of their words and actions on their little children. They were expertly guided towards developing good practices within themselves in order to see the reflection of the same in their child's behavior. The parents attending the session truly appreciated the insights and thoughts shared.

Following this, the parents of the pre-primary block were next introduced to the Chrysalis Curriculum. The parents were given a glimpse of the activity-based learning that the program utilizes to inspire the next generation of thinkers and the innovative teaching methods and teaching aids provided by the Chrysalis Program. The session proved to be an enriching and empowering experience.  

VVV Maral Sarovar : A Fun Trip to Tornado Water Park & Resort

On the 27th of October, about 300 students of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar accompanied by their teachers went on a fun trip to Tornado Water Park & Resort, Indore.

Once the students arrived at the destination they enjoyed the breakfast served in the community at the canteen. The sight of the pools, slides and the other avenues of fun created excitement and amusement. The students and teachers enjoyed together in the cool waters under the blissful Sun. On the way back the students stopped for an ice-cream treat which gave them an additional reason to smile. A happy conclusion to a joyous day with a lot of bonhomie and friendships developed.  

One Day Picnic to Borawan temple

Students of Class Nursery to II went for a Picnic to Borawan temple. and visited Radha Krishna Temple. They enjoyed lunch with lots of fun and games. They danced and got treats from their teachers. Students learnt self-management and exploration mindset from a fulfilling outing.

VVV Maral Sarovar : Adolescent Education Session

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar organized an Adolescent Education Program on 3rd November 2023. This program was specially designed for girls in classes VI to IX.

The session started by discussing what adolescence is and covered the physical, emotional, and social changes that happen during this period of growing up. The session went on to provide detailed information about the menstrual cycle, including their symptoms and how to handle them for the first time. Additionally, there was a focus on maintaining proper hygiene during puberty and physical changes. The program concluded with an open discussion where girls shared the challenges they face during their periods.

Session with boys of school, commenced with an exploration of the essence of adolescence, delving into its connection with puberty and the intricacies of the teenage years. The session delved into the multifaceted changes that manifest during adolescence, encompassing aspects such as nutrition, hormone secretion, the emergence of facial hair, the development of Adam's apple, shifts in temperament, and growing attraction towards the opposite gender. The program culminated in an open discussion, allowing the boys to openly share the challenges they face due to the sudden transformations occurring in their bodies. 

VVV Maral Sarovar : Awarded with ISO certificate for quality education

4th of November 2023 Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar is proud to share that it has been awarded with ISO certificate for quality education as per CBSE board standards and norms in complete adherence. This school set up by the welfare society is committed to world-class education and holistic development opportunities for the students. 

VVV Maral Sarovar : Karate Belt Exam and Ju-Jitsu Introduction Camp

On 8th November 2023 Sports department of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar Conducted a Karate Belt Exam and Ju- Jitsu Introduction Camp in collaboration with Universal Martial Arts Academy and Physical Education and Health Organisation of India, For the holistic development of students and to inculcate the behavior of discipline among the Vivekians.

In two hours of strenuous sessions, 25 students achieved their yellow and orange belts. Parents of these students applauded the achievements of students and the efforts of the school. Students were truly inspired by Sensei Vijendra Kharsodiya (NIS Wushu), Sensei Rohini Kalam (Asian Games 2023 athlete, Ju-Jitsu), Sampai Vaidehi Sharma (International Player, Ju -Jitsu ) who had come from Indore to examine and Orient the students. 

Diwali with thoughtful celebrations!

Pre-Primary assembly, highlighted how Diwali is all about beating the darkness Teachers explained why Diwali should be eco-friendly, students put on a play showing how noisy crackers freak out trees, animals, and little kids. They even said, 'Let's use quiet crackers! The assembly ended on a happy note with music and dance.

In class, students did some super fun stuff like Rangoli and card-making, lanterns, and paper Diyas. Our Diwali bash became a mix of joy and creativity.

VVV Maral Sarovar : Visit of the old-age home

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar organized a Donation Drive with the heartwarming theme of "Madad Wali Diwali." In this remarkable initiative, the students of the SDG Club, including Core Captains and Class Captains, had the privilege of visiting the Khalbujurg old-age home.

During this visit, they had the precious opportunity to connect with the residents and partake in the festivities of "Madad Wali Diwali," while seeking their blessings, which are integral to shaping a brighter future for the students.

Throughout the visit, students personally handed out self-made Diwali cards and generously donated blankets, sarees, and sweets to the elderly residents. These activities not only kindled compassion but also instilled a sense of responsibility in the students toward those in need.

The visit was a source of joy for both the students and the old-age home residents. The elderly residents sang songs and bhajans, sharing delightful moments with the students. 

VVV Maral Sarovar : Sports Day

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar orchestrated a dynamic sports day on Saturday, November 24, 2023, as an integral part of the Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) program. The event was meticulously designed to cultivate physical fitness, teamwork, and a vibrant spirit of healthy competition among our students.

1. Sub -Junior Group: 50m Race

All Sub Junior Group students from different houses—Bhabha, Raman, and Vikram—competed fiercely in the 50m Race, unveiling extraordinary enthusiasm and athleticism. The young participants showcased exceptional speed and determination, crafting a spirited performance that electrified the atmosphere with a sense of intense competition and sportsmanship.

2. Junior Group: Cricket (Boys) and Kho-Kho (Girls)

In the Junior Group, boys delved into a riveting cricket match, organized house-wise (Bhabha, Raman, and Vikram), showcasing stellar cricketing skills and seamless teamwork. Simultaneously, the girls immersed themselves in a spirited game of Kho Kho, also organized house-wise, demonstrating agility and strategic thinking. Both events witnessed robust participation, underscoring the students' fervor for sports.

3. Senior Group: Basketball

All Sub Junior Group students from different houses—Bhabha, Raman, and Vikram—embraced the challenges of basketball, unveiling their skills on the court. This event not only spotlighted individual talents but also emphasized teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking. It was a dynamic and energetic showcase of sportsmanship by our senior students.

The overall success of the event can be attributed to the collaborative efforts of the students, teachers, and staff. Beyond promoting physical activity, the sports day instilled values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork among the participants.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to all participants, organizers, and supporters for their pivotal roles in making this sports day an unequivocal success. The commitment and sportsmanship exhibited by the students mirror the school's unwavering dedication to holistic education.  

VVV Maral Sarovar : Board Examination Counseling Session

On the 08 of December 2023, Vivekanand Vidya Vihar organized a Counseling session for the parents and students of classes X & XII. The session was called “Mission Board Examination & Focus on Dream Career” presented by guest speaker Mr Gaurav Solanki from The Mentor, Indore. The session focused on eliminating the fear of board exams and providing students with preparation strategies for the upcoming exams.

The students were encouraged to change their attitudes and look at the board exams as an opportunity rather than an obstacle. The students and parents reflected on the purpose of education and realized the importance of a good career and money in life. This realization helped them understand the significance of the board exams. The 7P’s preparation strategy was introduced to the students - Predict, Plan, Prepare, Practice, Perform, Pass & Party and the importance of planning a schedule and proper utilization of time were highlighted.

The parents were also counseled to prioritize their child’s education and make changes to their children’s diet as ‘A healthy mind needs a healthy body.’ The students seemed to lose all their fears of the exams and were smiling with confidence as the session concluded. 

VVV Maral Sarovar : 9th Madhya Pradesh State Ju-Jitsu Championship

From 8th to 10th December 2023. 15 Students of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar participated and secured merit positions in the Fighting System and Newaza Events under the Ju-Jitsu Martial art game. Students secured a total of 6 gold medals 11 silver medals and 11 bronze medals in the championship.

With the aim of providing a platform for teachers and parents to collaborate and discuss students' progress and enhance their educational experience a PTM was organized in December.Teachers presented an overview of each student's performance, identified areas of strength and weakness, and collaborated with parents to develop strategies for improving academic achievement. Parents were encouraged to acknowledge their child's participation in academic activities, fostering a sense of investment in their education and the school community.

Dedicated our time to cultivate acceptance of all religions and spiritual insights in children. Engaging discussions highlighted the transformative efforts of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, guiding us through spiritual turbulence and emphasizing the resilience of his teachings. The soulful kirtan on Shaheed Diwas became a meaningful part of this endeavor, creating a serene ambiance for participants to connect deeply with the spiritual essence of the occasion. The assembly concluded with heartfelt thanks and a "Token of Memories," fostering unity and reverence for our diverse spiritual heritage. 

VKV Hurda : - School Ideathon (Skill Tank) Competition

The school organized the Ideathon (Skill Tank) Competition. It was a creative and engaging event that challenged participants to create and present advertisements for various products or services. It served as a platform for the students of class 12 in the Commerce stream to showcase their marketing, communication, and creative skills.

It emphasized the importance of creativity, teamwork, and effective communication in the field of advertising. As the competition concluded, student participant left with valuable experiences and a heightened appreciation for the art of advertising.

VKV Hurda- Dusshera Celebration

The students of VKV nursery block presented a magnificent skit on the occasion of the Dussehra Festival, in which the children took on various roles from the epic Ramayana. They portrayed characters like Ram, Lakshman, Sita, Bharat, Shatrughan, Ravan, and Dashrath with utmost dedication. The skit beautifully depicted the scenes of Ramayan's vanvas (exile), showcasing the triumph of good over evil. The children's exceptional performances left everyone in awe, and they concluded the skit by enacting the epic battle between Ram and Ravan, highlighting the victory of righteousness. It was a truly remarkable and inspiring event.

Title: Empowering Parents through Orientation: Enhancing Communication, Collaboration, and Digital Engagement

The parent orientation session held at VKV Hurda provided valuable insights into the Chrysalis course and emphasized the importance of activity-based learning, effective communication, collaboration, and digital engagement between teachers, parents, and students.

It was an enriching session that highlighted the potential of digital platforms to enhance learning experiences and strengthen the partnership between teachers, parents, and students. The resource person’s interactive approach and her efforts to address parents' questions and concerns further enhanced the session's effectiveness.

VKV Hurda - Trip to Nainital

56 Students from VKV Hurda along with 5 teachers attended the Yogarothan Adventure Camp organized by Aurobindo Ashram at Nainital aimed to instill a spirit of exploration, teamwork and resilance along with developing harmony through community beings.

The Nursery Section Sports Day was organized on December 9, 2023.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting and inspiring speech by our honorable Principal Ma’am. The program started with the welcome song, dance, and yoga presentation which added a special touch to welcome the parents and the guests. The head girl declared the opening of the events. Students participated in various games showcasing their skills and talents.

The sports function at Vidyalaya was a great success. It showcased the teamwork and talents of the students. The program ended with the national anthem and the distribution of prizes to the winners.

VKV HURDA bags a cash prize of Rs.7500/- at the State Level Painting Competition organized by Rajasthan Government Power Grid Corporation at Jaipur. Harshprabha Tatiwal a student of Class 8th, a talented young artist, secured a consolation prize at the State-level Art Competition. The award serves as a testament to the outstanding talent thriving within our educational institutions, inspiring future generations to explore and express themselves through the captivating medium of art. Congratulations to Harshprabha on this well-deserved recognition!

Graphite Higher Secondary School : Night Sky Observation

The starry night bonanza had everybody in awe, only these were real stars; the celestial bodies views in the night sky. This Scientific event was organized in October 2023 in association with the Aryabhat Foundation to facilitate Night sky Observation on the school ground in Mandideep. This event was open for the students of 4th to 12th grade along with their guardians, both young and old all took part in the workshop enthusiastically to enrich their basic understanding of cosmic objects.

Six Astronomical telescopes of 100 to 250 mm were used to provide an up-close and personal view of planets, stars, and constellations. More than a thousand Students along with their parents had the hands-on opportunity to explore the mysteries and deepen their appreciation for the wonders of the astronomical universe.

Graphite Higher Secondary School : Aryabhatta Quiz Competition

Some students took part in the competition and one student Master Prince Asware of class VIII was awarded with State Merit certificate by securing 23rd Rank in the state-level astronomy quiz competition in December 2023 and an invitation to attend a one-week camp for training in practical astronomy. The competition was held for 8323 students from 117 schools across the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Miss Sejal Malviya, a 7th standard student, secured the Bronze Medal in -36 kg Under 12 years and Miss Kanishka Lodhi, a 6th standard student, secured Bronze Medal in -32 kg Under 11 years category in the 11th Junior, Sub-Junior, Pre-Teen Pencak Silat National Championship 2023-24 held in Patliputra, Patna (Bihar) on 23rd - 26th of November 2023. 

Graphite Higher Secondary School : Industrial Visits to Dainik Bhaskar Press

Media, in all its hues and forms, is a Sunrise industry and a very important aspect for the entrepreneurs and professionals of tomorrow. Keeping this in mind the students visited the Danik Bhaskar Printing Press for an Industry Visit. They were exposed to the production of India's Prominent News Paper. Thirty students accompanied by one faculty member learned about the various aspects newspaper printing process like Printing of Dailies, printing aluminum plates, Colour balancing & CMYK, the process of creating hard copies from soft copies, and other similar aspects. It was a fruitful visit that gave students good exposure to the industry of printing. This helped them become curious to seek knowledge of the media industry and learn more. 

Graphite Higher Secondary School : ‘Sports Blossom’ - Annual Sports Meet, Junior Wing

The annual sports event started on December 6, 2023, with the auspicious Lamp Lighting Ceremony where the Sports prefect handed over the Lamp of Peace to the Principal who declared the sports meet open. The tiny tots of class KG II presented a beautiful welcome dance, which was followed by a drill performance by the pre-primary kids. All the students energetically participated in the various events and tried their best to win the game. Finally, the winners presented a march past along with the cheerleaders. Principal Mrs. Swati Rahatekar congratulated everyone for their presence and support and motivated them by applauding the students for their exceptional performances.

Graphite Higher Secondary School : Rangotsav Celebration Competition

A painting requires a little mystery, some vagueness, and some fantasy.

The creativity of the students from classes III to V got wings in the Indian Arts -Rangotsav Celebration Competition.

The best drawings of students were awarded various prizes like trophies, skates, color packs, and many other gifts, medals, and certificates to all participants.

The School Principal, Art teacher as well as Coordinator also received appreciation in the form of trophies.

Such events boost the imagination and creativity of students.

Graphite Higher Secondary School : Industrial visit to Vardhman Yarn Limited

As part of Industrial & Manufacturing learning an industrial visit was conducted on December 30, 2023, to Vardhman Yarn Textile Ltd. The students of Class XI & XII had the opportunity to observe the operations of India's largest vertically integrated textile manufacturer in one of its multiple premises. A total of 35 students along with three teachers were exposed to this industrial visit where the primary objective was to acquaint them with an industrial setup while helping them establish a correlation between theoretical and practical knowledge.  

During the plant Visit, they were briefed in detail about the process of manufacturing Yarn like ginning, blowing, carding, combing, and spinning. The students were also explained about the warehousing and quality assurance management systems.  This helped to go beyond classroom learning and the visit contributed to the holistic development of students.

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar : World Wildlife Day

World Wildlife Day, a time to celebrate and raise awareness about plants and animals around the world. This day also highlights issues such as urbanization, poaching, pollution, destruction of wildlife habitat, and how humans can contribute to conservation efforts.

VKV Rishabhdev : Diya Decoration & Rangoli Making Competition

In order to bring out the creative talents of students and celebrate the Festival of Lights in its true spirit the Diya Decoration Competition for Grades 3rd to 8th and Rangoli making competition for grades 6 to 12 were held at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev during CCA periods on 1st November 2023.

The main objective of this competition was to explore the students’ imagination and creativity. Most of the students participated enthusiastically in the competition. They displayed their creativity by beautifully decorating earthen Diyas and their Rangoli with colours and the works.

It was a sheer pleasure and a great experience for all our students who were the reasons for making the event a great success.

Constitution Day

The class IX students delivered an insightful PPT presentation on Constitution Day, covering key aspects such as the preamble, fundamental rights, and the significance of the Constitution in shaping India's democratic framework.

They effectively used visuals, infographics, and relevant examples to enhance their presentation, showcasing a commendable understanding of constitutional principles. Skit Based on Human Rights

Astronomy Quiz

We celebrated the Astronomy Quiz During the CCA period to make them comprehend the astronomical concepts and encourage active learning fostering interest and promoting curiosity and interest in the vast field of astronomy.

Archery Achievement

Miss Varshika Choudhary of class has participated in CBSE Archery Under 14 State Tournament held at Bhind M.P. and Won a Gold Medal. Further, she has been selected for National at Dehradun Uttarakhand. It is a proud moment for the school.

Meditation Session by Vipassana

The school hosted a valuable meditation session on December 27, 2023, for both students and teachers, organized by the Vipassana Meditation Centre, Jaipur. Students from Classes 10th and 12th participated alongside the faculty. The session aimed to introduce the benefits of meditation and encourage deeper engagement with the practice.

Introduction to Meditation: The session began with a clear explanation of meditation, its purpose, and various techniques. This helped demystify the practice for students and pique their interest.

Anapana Sadhana: Participants were guided through the Anapana meditation technique, focusing on observing natural breath. This simple yet powerful practice provided students with a concrete tool for calming the mind and improving focus.

Maitri Bhavna: The session explored the concept of loving-kindness meditation (Maitri Bhavna) and its potential to cultivate positive emotions and empathy. Students practiced wishing well-being for themselves and others, fostering a sense of connection and compassion.

Teachers’ Session: Teachers session include the following activities

Motivational Talk: Following the student session, Vipassana representative Mr. Anil Mehta delivered a motivating talk to teachers, highlighting the personal and professional benefits of meditation. They emphasized the transformative power of a 10-day meditation program offered by their center.

Program Description: The talk provided detailed information about the 10-day program, its schedule, activities, and potential outcomes. This gave teachers a clear understanding of the commitment and rewards involved in participation.

Encouragement and Support: The session concluded with an open discussion where teachers could ask questions and address any concerns about the program. Representatives offered encouragement and support, creating a positive atmosphere for considering participation.

Overall Impact:

The meditation session was a resounding success, achieving its key objectives. Students gained valuable insights into mindfulness and practical tools for managing stress and enhancing focus. Teachers were informed about the potential benefits of deepening their meditation practice and given the opportunity to consider the upcoming program. This collaboration with the Vipassana Meditation Centre has planted the seeds for a potentially transformative shift in our school community, promoting holistic well-being and enriching the learning environment for both students and staff. 

VKV Rishavdev : Diwali Celebration

Diwali, the festival of lights, is one of the most celebrated festivals in India. It symbolises the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rishabhdev, celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and fervour.

The school was beautifully adorned with colorful and creative decorations. The decorations incorporated traditional elements of Diwali, including Diyas, Rangoli and vibrant flowers by pre-primary teachers. The Assembly area was decorated with Rangoli designs, adding a touch of artistic elegance to the surroundings.

The program commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, by the honourable principal Ma'am Mrs. Vijay Shree Yadav.

On the day of Diwali, a lamp-lighting ceremony was organized in the school's assembly area. The entire school community, including students, teachers, and staff, gathered to light Diyas and offer prayers. This moment of togetherness was a poignant reminder of the significance of Diwali in promoting unity and positivity.

Class X students showcased their musical talents with a soulful song performance that resonated with the audience. This was followed by an inspiring speech by Ghanshyam Sir, who shared insightful thoughts on the significance of Diwali. Yukti Jain took the stage to recite a beautiful poem, capturing the essence of the festival. Their eloquent words left everyone in awe. The students of Gautam House transported the audience into the Ayodhya Nagari with their captivating scene play. Their dedication and enthusiasm were truly commendable. Class VII girls mesmerized the gathering with an energetic dance performance that added a vibrant and lively touch to the celebration. The Principal Ma'am graced the event with her blessings and best wishes, underlining the importance of festivals in bringing the school community together. She focused on eco-friendly Diwali celebrations.

The school organized a special Diwali Aarti of Goddess Lakshmi and Shree Ram and Mata Sita invoke blessings for all its students, teachers, and staff. Everyone participated with devotion and reverence. 

VKV Rishabhdev : Christmas celebration

Christmas is a festival that inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. Christmas celebration was held on 23rd December 2023, in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rishabhdev. The school was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in red and white. The celebration commenced with the solemn lighting of the fourth candle of Advent, symbolizing hope, love, joy, and peace. A melodious chorus filled the air as students and participants engaged in heartwarming carol singing sung by class 9th students. A beautiful skit followed depicting the scenes of the nativity of Jesus Christ Right from the conception of Mary to the birth of Jesus a harmonious story was displayed by the students of class 5. The event followed with cheerful Christmas greetings as the students of the primary wing danced to the melodious tunes of ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘We wish you a merry Christmas.’ The dazzling entry of Santa Claus added to the joy and excitement of the students. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children. The event ended with cheerful Christmas greetings by our honourable Principal Ma'am Ms. Vijay Shree Yadav. She addressed the gathering with words of inspiration and encouragement. Her message underscored the importance of unity, gratitude, and the joy of giving in one's life.  Overall It was a joyous and amusing program for everyone.

All Subject Exhibition at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Hurda was a testament to the rich tapestry of talents our students possess. By integrating the themes of SDG, Robotics, and Art with subject-specific displays, we celebrated not only academic achievement but also the holistic development of well-rounded individuals ready to contribute meaningfully to society.

All subject exhibition was a resounding success, showcasing the diverse talents of our students across various subjects, with a special focus on SDG Robotics and Art. The event provided a platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, innovation, and commitment to addressing global challenges.

Proud moments for our LNJ Group Schools congratulations to five players Aaradhya Upadhyay – Class – IV, Alokik Maheshwari – Class VI, Tejaswini Sharma – Class VI, Nandini Purohit – Class VII, Akshat Kumar Lakhara – Class VIII from the Vidyalaya participated in the Trials Selection for Nationals (Under 14) held at Jodhpur from December 17 to 18, 2023.

Alokik Maheshwari got First Position, Akshat Kumar Lakhara got Fourth Position in Open (Under 14 category). Nandini Purohit got First Position and Tejaswini Sharma got Fifth Position in Girls (Under 14) category.

Aaradhya Upadhyay won the Rajasthan State U 11 & U 9 Girls Championship (October 8 & 9, 2023).

VKV HURDA bags a cash prize of Rs.7500/- at the State Level Painting Competition organized by Rajasthan Government Power Grid Corporation at Jaipur. Harshprabha Tatiwal a student of Class 8th, a talented young artist, secured a consolation prize at the State-level Art Competition. The award serves as a testament to the outstanding talent thriving within our educational institutions, inspiring future generations to explore and express themselves through the captivating medium of art. Congratulations to Harshprabha on this well-deserved recognition! 

VKV Hurda : "Triumph of Goodness over Evil" – Dushera Celebration

Fostering creativity, and enhancing their communication skills the students of VKV nursery block presented a magnificent skit on the occasion of the Dussehra Festival, in which the children took on various roles from the epic Ramayana. They portrayed characters like Ram, Lakshman, Sita, Bharat, Shatrughan, Ravan, and Dashrath with utmost dedication. The skit beautifully depicted the scenes of Ramayan's vanvas (exile), showcasing the triumph of good over evil. The children's exceptional performances left everyone in awe, and they concluded the skit by enacting the epic battle between Ram and Ravan, highlighting the victory of righteousness. It was a truly remarkable and inspiring event.

VKV Hurda : Nainital - A Trip To Remember

Yogarohan Adventure Camp at Van Nivas, Aurobindo Ashram

October 14 to 20, 2023

56 Students from VKV Hurda along with 5 teachers attended the Yogarothan Adventure Camp organized by Aurobindo Ashram at Nainital aimed to instill a spirit of exploration, teamwork, and resilience along with developing harmony through community beings. This experiential learning fostered not only curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills but social skills also. They learnt to plan the trip cooperate, collaborate, and navigate through unfamiliar environment sharing their experiences with the rest of the students after returning from the trip.

VKV Hurda: Promoting Entrepreneurship in Students' Fair

The school organized a fete on Nov 4, 2023, on the school grounds, which was entirely managed and arranged by the students. The event was a resounding success, and it showcased the exemplary teamwork and organizational skills of our student body. This event brought students, teachers, parents, and the local community together for a day filled with fun and entertainment. This event served as a platform for students to showcase their skills, in budgeting investing, and managing financial efficiency.
