RSWM-Kharigram: Training on Safety Practices at Workplace

A Safety awareness programme was conducted on 08-12-2024, which was presented by Sh Dileep Chourasia, Safety Sr. Manager. Engineering, Maintenance, Security, Commercial, and Production departments were covered in this programme. The topics covered were Fire-Fighting, Evacuation Plan, Emergency Exit, Assemble methods, etc. He educated all personnel to follow safety rules and how to respond to different emergency situations.

RSWM-Kharigram: Visit of Students of Sr. Secondary Govt. School, Bandanwara

As a part of CSR, a group of 55 students of Sr. Secondary Govt. School students visited the Kharigram Unit on 23rd December 2024. HR team welcomed them and the training in-charge Mr. Ratibhan Patil explained the process. The students learned about various processes of Yarn Manufacturing in our Sj-11 unit and felt extremely delighted. Their principal gave a vote of thanks to our Management that this visit will help them for their enhancement of knowledge. The visit concluded with light refreshments. 

RSWM-Kharigram: Training Program on Fire Safety

Fire fighting training program along with drills is conducted for staff members of the Kharigram unit on a monthly basis. A fire fighting training program was conducted for staff members of our new mélange unit HJ-21 on 12th November 2024 by Plant Safety Manager Sh. Dileep Kumar Chourasia in which 36 staff members were educated on fire fighting further all members were detailed about the use of fire equipment installed in factory premises with live drill. 

Fire safety training is essential as it will assist learners in understanding the various possibilities and causes of fire formation, identifying fire hazards, particularly in workplace environments, and familiarizing themselves with fire safety devices such as different types of fire extinguishers, fire alarms; fire control mechanisms, emergency evacuation plans; and mock drills, which involve a series of active steps, etc. to prevent fire hazards.

RSWM-Kharigram: VIP Visit from G M Syntex (Furnishing)

Sh Dalbir ji -owner of our customer M/S G M Syntex(Furnishing) & development head Mr Divesh visited the Kharigram Unit on 21st October 2024. Sh. B K Sharma, BH, and Sh. S K Tiwari, COO welcomed him. They visited our NPD setup dyed and grey units, which was concluded, by the visit of the SJ-11 unit. He felt pleased with our warm welcome and to see the latest technology.

RSWM-Kharigram: Training Session on Fire Drill in Worker Hostel Area

To check the awareness and response of the emergency response team, a Fire Drill was conducted on 25th November 2024 in the worker hostel area. The firefighting awareness session was also done to aware Staff and workmen about the use of fire extinguishers and emergency equipment. Sh Dileep Chourasia, Sr. Manager-Safety conducted this drill. He explained the process of safety in emergency situations.

ADHPL: Tier-II mock drill on LPG Fire in Officers Mess (Monal Enclave)

A Tier-II emergency mock drill on LPG Fire in Officers Mess (Monal Enclave) was conducted on December 20, 2024, with participation from all the departments of ADHPL. Local administration was also informed in advance, while the Civil fire fighting department participated actively in the mock drill. The objective of this mock drill was to test the emergency response and preparedness in the event of a fire incident in the residential colony. The scenario involved a fire outbreak in an LPG cylinder in an officer's mess. The focus was on assessing the effectiveness of communication protocols and evacuation procedures.

RSWM-Ringas: Awareness Session on Fire Safety with Drill

To spread awareness among staff and workmen, 3 fire drills were conducted on 25th October 2024, 25th Nov. 2024 & 25th Dec. 2024 on Dry Drill and Wet Drill. During the drill, the safety officer explained the process of safety to control the emergency situations and mitigate the fire.

RSWM-Kanyakheri: Staff Training On Behavior Based Safety(BBS)

At RSWM Unit-Kanyakheri, we have implemented a staff training activity system that is merged with staff birthday celebration activity each month to increase staff training activity in accordance with management's direction and system.

We trained our employees on behavior-based safety (BBS) on December 3, 2024, using the film "Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain" as a model. The Bhopal gas tragedy occurred on that day. We planned this training program to increase awareness of behavioral safety, and we celebrated the employees' birthdays at the end of the program. This training program was excellent, and we have gotten great reviews about it.

HEG: Industrial Visits

Corporate Institute of Science & Technology -10th October 2024 & Scope Global Skills University -14th October 2024

To give industrial exposure to the students from reputed colleges, HEG gave a chance to the students to visit our organization and gain the learnings regarding the overall general process of Electrode Manufacturing. This gave a platform for the students to enrich themselves with the core knowledge about the manufacturing process.

HEG always encourages the learning and development of the students as well, so that in the future young talents can find their way to meet a desired destination.

HEG: Team Building Workshop

The Employee Engagement activity describes the dedication and faith in his or her respective job. To promote team building, many activities were performed by the employees from various departments. The motive for organizing this event was to focus on several factors such as communication, team building, boosting morale, and many more aspects.

This activity was coordinated by Mr. Shamit Tiwari and his team and conducted in our Graphite House Lawn. The response to this event was overwhelming and employees were highly enthusiastic.

HEG: Training Session on National Legal Service Day

On the occasion of National Legal Service Day, our organization had the privilege of hosting an enlightening session featuring esteemed judges from Goharganj. The event aimed to educate our workers about their roles, responsibilities, and rights under the legal framework.

The program began with a warm welcome for the honorable judges. They were presented with bouquets as a token of appreciation for their presence and contribution to the event. The gesture reflected our gratitude for their commitment to promoting legal literacy.

During the session, the judges shared valuable insights on various legal topics relevant to the workforce, including labor laws, workplace rights, grievance redressal mechanisms and access to legal aid. They emphasized the importance of awareness in empowering individuals to protect their rights and fulfill their responsibilities as informed citizens.

The interactive session allowed workers to ask questions and seek clarification on their doubts, fostering a greater understanding of the legal system. The event was a significant step toward promoting legal literacy and ensuring that our workforce is well–informed about their entitlements and duties.

HEG: Union Training on " New Culture in Industrial Relation and Quality of Working Life”

The Training workshop for union personnel of our organization was held over three days at the Pradan Campus, Itarsi, structured in three well-defined phases. A key highlight was an engaging session by Dr. G. B. Bhalerao who shared invaluable insights on fostering a new culture in industrial relations and improving the quality of working life. His expertise provided participants with fresh perspectives and practical approaches to enhance workplace harmony and productivity.

Another significant part of the workshop was the yoga and wellness session conducted by the Tathasthu team. This session focused on the importance of mental and physical well–being, equipping participants with techniques to manage stress and maintain a balanced lifestyle.

The event served as an excellent platform for knowledge–sharing, collaboration, and personal growth, reaffirming our commitment to empowering our workforce.

RSWM-Lodha: Industrial Visit by Rishabhdev School

On 15th October 2024, RSWM Lodha organized an industrial visit for the students of RSWM Lodha to provide them with a hands-on learning experience about the workings of an industry. The visit allowed the students to gain practical knowledge and insights into the production process. The students were enthusiastic and engaged throughout the visit, as it helped them develop essential managerial qualities.

During the visit, the students understood the entire production process, the challenges faced in production, and the solutions implemented to overcome them. This experience greatly contributed to enhancing their practical knowledge of the industry.

RSWM-Lodha: Workshop on Insurance & other Finance-related Knowledge

On October 14, 2024, a workshop was organized by RSWM Limited Lodha, conducted by the PINC Team. The session began with a warm welcome from Shri Naresh Kumar Bahedia (Business Head), who presented a bouquet to the team. The workshop covered a range of important topics, including Risk Management Findings, Risk Management from a Global Perspective, Marine Risk, Fire Policies, Retail Policies, and Claims Management. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Naresh Kumar Bahedia (Business Head).

RSWM-Lodha: Skill Development Training under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna Scheme

The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is a government initiative for providing skill development training to workers to enhance their employability. Training was provided through external trainers, and different batches were created to cater to various skill levels. Successful trainees receive certification, which helps improve their job prospects. The scheme covers a wide range of sectors, contributing to building a skilled workforce for India, and all schemes are headed by the training department of Shri Sukhendra Pal Sharma.

RSWM-LNJ Denim: Training on Saflata Ki Sheedhi

A motivational programme on 'Saflata Ki Seedhi' was organized from December 16 to 19, 2024 at LNJ Denim, Mordi in which 105 staff members & 130 workers participated in the programme that was imparted in 8 batches. Trainer Shri S P Shah had imparted this training in a very good gesture.

We all got to know about the ABCD of success in our life. , It was a good programme to find out the inner potential of an employee. It elaborated on how a man becomes capable in four aspects, health, knowledge, money & characteristics. The main objective of 'Saflata Ki Seedhi' was to bring awareness among employees about the attainment of success. He told us about A for aim in our life & company, B for Behaviour, C for Communication, and D for discipline.

It was a great learning for employees. All the participants were highly appreciative of the programme and they learned so many good things which can change and improve their lives.

RSWM-LNJ Denim: Training on 5S & its Implementation in Plant

A training session & review meeting on 5S was conducted on 20th November 2024 at LNJ Denim, the three-hour training program was provided to employees. Shri Mahadev Sapkal gave the training. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the use of 5 S & its implementation in the plant. Before training, a 5S Audit was conducted to review the implementation of 1 S & 2 S in our plant by our internal auditor. They had given certain observations for further improvement, department-wise. A total of thirty staff members attended the session.

RSWM-Mandapam: Training on Fire Safety & Fire Hydrant System

A training programme on Fire Safety & use of Fire Hydrant Systems was organized at Mandpam Unit on December 19, 2024. The main objective was to create awareness on the use of fire hydrant systems at the time of fire. Shri Anil Kumar (Sr. Engineer - Fire & Safety) was the faculty for this training programme.
