RSWM-Kharigram: Workshop on Quality Circle

A workshop on Qulaity Circle (QC) was organised on May 22, 2024, at Kharigram. During training session, Sh Vinod Kumar Purohit- CTSC briefed about QC aspects in running projects at department/Unit level. He also explained about basics, uses of quality concepts, techniques and its importance.

This program was very useful in terms of higher productivity and cost saving aspects.

RSWM-Kharigram: Training on Emergency Preparedness at Workplace

HR Department organised a Safety awareness programme on April 14, 2024, which was presented by Sh Dileep Chourasia, Safety Manager. Engineering, Maintenance, Security, Commercial and Production department, staff attended this program. The topics covered -Fire Fighting, Evacuation Plans, Emergency Exits, Assemble methods, etc. He educated to all personnel to follow safety rules and how to respond upon different emergencies.

RSWM-Kharigram: Mock Drill

To review the emergency preparedness plan of the organization and evaluate standard operating procedure so that concerned persons would deliver their duties effectively, Mock drill was conducted in ETP area on Fire in chemical godown on May 25, 2024. Total 22 employees including Security, fireman, staff and workmen participated, further all employees were educated by Safety Manager Sh. Dileep Kumar Chourasia about, mobilization of coordinated activities identifying the gaps and get aware of pre-emptive measures to handle any kind of emergency situations like fire, chemical disaster and emergencies.

RSWM-Kharigram: Awareness Session on HR Policy

HR Department, Kharigram conducts regular refresher training for staff members to make them aware and update about various policy aspects and giving clarity as and where required. In this context, an awareness programme on employee benefits & loan policy was conducted on May 7, 2024. A total of 30 staff members benefited from this programme.

RSWM-LNJ Denim -Training on Fire & Safety & ISO 45001

On May 22, 2024, LNJ Denim conducted a training program on Fire & Safety & ISO 45001 in the Spinning Conference room. As it is necessary to make the staff aware of hazardous things and what precautions should be taken when any uncertain event happens in the factory.

Since it is required that new hires receive instruction on safety procedures, Mr. Ashish Dixit, the safety officer, and Mr. Deepak Jalan, the training manager, provided both indoor and outdoor training by demonstrating safety equipment and its operation. The primary focus of this training program was on self-awareness and the importance of not ignoring any potentially dangerous plant material. Maintaining employee health and safety was made easier by this training.

RSWM Corporate HR: TGT Training Programme “BOOSTER 2 “for Career & Personality Development

In continuation of our initiative to develop the future talent pool and leadership pipeline, the CHR department has organized a structured training program for newly joined TGTs (Batch - 2023), where they were introduced to strategies for achieving business goals and advancing their career development. These initiatives underscore the company's commitment to fostering talent and ensuring employees are well-equipped to navigate the competitive business environment. As a core activity of the HR department, providing comprehensive training to TGTs is a priority.

A significant four days training session, BOOSTER 2 was held in April 2024 at the Kharigram Plant. The term BOOSTER stands for Balanced. Observant. Objective driven. Sincere. Time bound. Energetic.

The program was led by Dr. Sourabh Sethi under the guidance of the CHRO. It commenced with an opening ceremony attended by Mr. Brij Mohan Sharma – JMD, Mr. Manoj Sharma - CHRO, Mr. Balkrishan Sharma - BH & CE (YB) and Mr. S K Tiwari - Dy COO (Kharigram). The leaders spoke to the TGTs, and shared their professional experiences and journey.

The presence and encouragement of top executives during these sessions highlight the importance placed on continuous learning and development.

RSWM-RPSF: Conducted CMA audit (Target)

An external CMA (Target) audit Mr. Ankur Nautiyal visited the RPSF plant and was welcomed by COO Shri M.K. Yogi accompanied by all HODs of the RPSF plant.

After having an opening meeting on April 14, the CMA audit was conducted successfully for the whole day. Mr Ankur Nautiyal appreciated the staff for the marvelous internal housekeeping, cleanliness and various systems maintained in the RPSF Unit.

RSWM-RPSF: External GRS audit

An external GRS auditor Mr. Praveen Sharma visited the RPSF plant and was welcomed by COO Shri M.K. Yogi accompanied by all Head of departments of the RPSF plant. After having an opening meeting on April 22, the GRS audit was conducted on a full-day basis and it was very successful.

Mr. Praveen Sharma appreciated the marvelous internal housekeeping, cleanliness, and various systems maintained at the RPSF Unit, on virtue of which GRS certificate was renewed and awarded to us.

RSWM-RPSF: Fire Drill Sessions

Three rounds of Fire drills were conducted sequentially on April 25, 2024, May 25, 2024 and June 25, 2024 on Dry Drill and Wet Drill basis.

During the drills, the various important steps along with their priorities were taught to participants. Also, it was explained, how to fight against emergency fire situations.

RSWM-Knits: Awareness Programme on 5 S and Implementation

Awareness programme on “5 S & Implementation” were organized with an objective to make working space systematic and improved traceability. Mr. V. K. Purohit, CTS Cell and Mr. Dilip Chourasia, Safety Deptt., Gulabpura conducted awareness programme on 5S & Safety Measures. Mr. D. K. Sharma, DGM (SQC), Mr. Sunil Kumar Mishra, GM (Production) & Mr. Anil Sharma, AGM (Knit Dyeing) were our faculties for technical trainings.

RSWM-Ringas: Management Window Program

The Management Window Program was organized in Ringas on June 29, 2024. Shri Rajeev Kumar Dixit – General Manager of HR&IR chaired the program. The theme of this program was" Tough Times Never Last But Tough People Do!“ All the staff members attended this program and learnt from this program as we all face challenges in life, some more than others. It is not the challenges that we face that matter, it is how we deal with those challenges and how we overcome those challenges.

RSWM-NPD: Industry Training

As per the HR training calendar, a training program was conducted by the NPD team. They explained the recent various developments in the textile industry. The program was highly appreciated by the participants, who gained valuable knowledge about their field.

RSWM-Lodha: TGT Presentation on Learning from Booster Program

On April 24, 2024, the TGT shared the learnings from the booster training program with all staff at RSWM Lodha. A presentation was prepared and the TGT shared the insights with everyone. The program was well-received and appreciated by all attendees.

IMS: The Second Internal Audit

The second internal audit of IMS (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) for the certification year 2023–24 was conducted successfully from April 08 to 13, 2024. The clause-wise internal audit of the integrated management system was carried out by trained internal auditors from different departments as per the given schedule and time.

HEG: Industrial Visits for Educational Purpose

To give industrial exposure to the students of Oriental College of Management, VNS Group of Institutions, and SAGE University, HEG gave a chance to the students to visit our organization and gain the learning’s regarding the overall general process of Electrode Manufacturing.

This gives a platform for the students to groom themselves and can fill them with the core knowledge about the manufacturing process.

HEG always encourages the learning and development of the students as well, so that in the future the talent could find its way to meet a desired destination.

HEG: Employee Engagement Activities (Part – 4 and Part -5) on April 29 and May 24, 2024

To promote employee engagement, many activities were performed by male and female employees from various departments. The motive for organizing this event was to focus on several factors such as communication, team building, boosting morale, and many more aspects.

The response from this event was overwhelming and employees had a high level of enthusiasm among them. The rewards were distributed to winning teams so that healthy competition could be created in the future.

The activity was conducted on 29th April 2024 and 24th May 2024. This activity was coordinated by Mr. Shamit Tiwari and team. 

Looking after the response from the employees, these activities will be in high demand in the future.

 

ADHPL: First Management Review Committee Meeting

Management Review Committee Meeting (for Certification Year 2023-24) of IMS was held on May 06, 2024, in the ground floor conference hall of the Admin block at ADHPL. All section in-charges, committee members & workers from various departments participated in the meeting.

ADHPL-IMS: Stage-1 audit conducted

The stage-1 audit of IMS (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) was conducted on June 06-07, 2024 at AD Hydro Power Ltd. for certification year 2024-25 successfully. The clause-wise audit of integrated management system was carried out by the auditor from agency.
