VVV Maral Sarovar: BSG Awards for Excellence (SDG Updates)

We are proud to announce that Jaivica Kushwah (Class XII) received a Special Mention at the 1st BSG Awards for Excellence in Sustainability 2025, held at the Chinmaya Mission Auditorium, New Delhi.

Her outstanding work in vermicompost (organic fertilizer) earned her this prestigious national recognition, reflecting her dedication and commitment to sustainability. Jaivica’s achievement serves as an inspiring example for all students at VVV Maral.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Health Awareness Program on Doctor’s Day

The school celebrated the selfless service of doctors by organizing a Health Awareness Program to promote good health practices and overall well-being among students.

A Dental Check-up Camp for Classes II–IV, conducted by- School Alumni:now parents- Dr. Rizwan Khan and Dr. Nazia Khan, including dental examinations, treatment advice, and distribution of dental care kits.

For Classes V–VIII, Parents Dr. Ravindra Singh Pawar and Dr. Mitali Pawar led an Adolescence Awareness Session, holding separate discussions for girls and boys on hormonal and physical changes during adolescence.

The program encouraged health consciousness among students and extended heartfelt gratitude to the doctors for their valuable guidance.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Industrial Visit by School

Under the Know Your Family initiative, students of Classes XI and XII (Science & Commerce) visited Maral Overseas Ltd., the parent company of their school, to explore the world of textile production. They observed key processes such as cotton cleaning, yarn spinning, dyeing, and quality control, linking classroom learning with real industrial applications.

In the Melange Spinning Unit, students witnessed how dyed fibers are transformed into yarn under controlled conditions. A proud moment came when Prateek from Class XI (Science) received a ₹100 reward for his keen observation and curiosity during the visit.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Celebration of Guru Purnima

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar celebrated Guru Purnima with devotion and enthusiasm, led by the students of Class XII. The program began with the sacred Ved Vyas Poojan, followed by a soulful song, a graceful dance, and a heartfelt poem expressing gratitude towards gurus. Students of the Foundation Block participated in a creative classroom activity, making colorful Charan Paduka art through finger painting — a beautiful reflection of reverence and creativity.

The school celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotism and pride. The day featured the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the Investiture Ceremony for the newly appointed Student Council, SDG Captains, House Captains, and Class Council. The celebration highlighted the spirit of freedom and citizenship with responsibility entrusted to the next generation of leaders.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Teacher’s Day Celebration

The students celebrated Teacher’s Day with deep reverence and heartfelt gratitude, honoring the mentors and staff who have been the foundation of the school’s legacy.

A special tribute was paid to Shri Brijesh Bhatore, the Founding Teacher of the school (presently at Daly College), for his pioneering contribution to education. Staff members completing 25 years of dedicated service — Mr. Ravindra Rathod, Mr. Sanjay Patel, and Ms. Akhila Baiji — were felicitated for their commitment and contribution to the institution.

The event was graced by Mr. Udayendra Singh Goud (Batch 1998), Alumni Committee Founding Convenor and former HR Head at Wipro, who inspired students with insights from the Bhagavad Gita, urging them to pursue purposeful action with passion and wisdom.

Each staff member received a token of appreciation from the Principal as a gesture of gratitude. The Foundation Block students added charm to the occasion with lively dances, skits, poems, and messages that celebrated the special bond between teachers and learners.

The celebration beautifully reflected the school’s enduring culture of respect, gratitude, and excellence, uniting generations of the Vivekanand family.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Martial Arts Achievements

the school celebrates the remarkable achievements of its students in Martial Arts Championships at both state and inter-school levels, reflecting their discipline, determination, and fighting spirit.

At the 11th State Ju-Jitsu Championship held in Bhopal, our students showcased outstanding skill and perseverance across two days of intense competition. The team secured an impressive 16 medals — 4 Gold, 1 Silver, and 11 Bronze — across various age and weight categories. We applaud our champions — Isha, Gayatri, Anshuman, Shreyansh, Saikrishna, Pragyan, Bhavesh, Daksh, Shourya, and Yash — for their dedication and excellence that brought great pride to the school.

Adding to the glory, at the SGFI Inter-School Martial Arts Competition 2025, our talented students once again proved their mettle. Lakshika Kushwah and Vansh Thakur clinched Gold Medals and earned the honor of representing Khargone district at the upcoming Division Level Karate Competition.

School Highlights - Chess Achievements(VVV Maral Sarovar)

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar, proudly celebrates its students’ outstanding performances in various Chess Championships and Tournaments.

At the SGFI District Level Competition in Bhopal, our players showcased remarkable skill and focus among 60 participants from 25 schools, earning selection for the Division Level Competition. Congratulations to Adityaraj Sharma and Adityaraj Badole (U-19), Vishnu Yadav (U-17), and Mudit Patidar (U-14) for their success.

At the Division Level, held at Emerald Heights World School, Indore, our students continued to excel:

  • Mudit Patidar (U-14) and Vishnu Yadav (U-17) — 4 wins each
  • Adityaraj Sharma (U-19) — 2 wins Their performances reflected strategy, consistency, and sportsmanship.

Adding national recognition, Shourya Pratap Singh Jadon opened his official FIDE rating at 1493 during the Sansad Cup All India Open Rapid Chess Tournament, displaying sharp strategic play across 10 rounds. Ayush Dwivedi (U-11) also brought laurels by securing the 4th rank in his category.

The school was honored with the Best School Award for Maximum Participants, highlighting its strong culture of chess excellence and holistic growth.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Basketball Achievements

The school proudly celebrates the remarkable performances of its students in various Basketball Championships held at district, division, and state levels, showcasing teamwork, talent, and true sporting spirit.

At the SGFI District Level (U-14) Basketball Tournament, our boys and girls teams displayed exceptional energy and coordination. Prabhudatt Sahoo, Raja Kumar Yadav, Ronak Rawat, and Laxmi Verma earned the honor of representing the district at the Division Level Competition in Indore.

In the SGFI District Level (U-19) Tournament, our senior boys’ team exhibited determination and skill, securing a strong Second Position. Raghavendra Bariya, Mayank Rajput, and Samarth Nigwal were selected to represent the district at the Division Level.

Adding to the pride, our players represented Khargone District at the Sub-Junior Madhya Pradesh State Basketball Championship 2025. The Girls’ Team—Laxmi Verma and Lakshika Kushwah—secured the 8th position, while the Boys’ Team—Prabhudatt Sahoo and Ronak Rawat—achieved an impressive 4th position.

These achievements highlight Vivekanand Vidya Vihar’s commitment to nurturing teamwork, discipline, and sporting excellence, inspiring students to reach new heights both on and off the court.

VKV Hurda: Promotes SDG Awareness

The school conducted various activities to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students presented an impactful Nukkad Natak and talks on environmental conservation at the nearby schools, and also participated in an SDG Conference on Climate Change.These initiatives encouraged awareness, responsibility, and sustainable practices among students, inspiring them to work for a greener future.

VKV Hurda: VKVians Shine in Sports Arena

The school proudly celebrated remarkable achievements in sports and chess. An Interschool Chess Tournament was organized, witnessing participation from 8 schools and 78 players. Winners received cash prizes of ₹2100 and ₹1100, promoting strategic thinking and sportsmanship.

Adding to the glory, Aaradhya Upadhyay (Class VI) represented Rajasthan in the 38th National Chess Championship (Under-13), securing 7 points and ranking 28th nationally. In football, Tanishq Arya (Class XI Humanities) brought laurels by being selected for the Indian Football Team, emerging as Top Scorer at the Nationals and Runner-up in the Indian League Match. These achievements reflect VKV Hurda’s commitment to nurturing talent, discipline, and excellence in both academics and sports.

VKV Hurda: Celebrated Investiture Ceremony 2025

The school celebrated the Investiture Ceremony 2025 and Universal Brotherhood Day with pride and devotion. The events highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership rooted in values and culture. During the Investiture Ceremony, proud parents witnessed the moment as student leaders took an oath to serve with integrity and dedication. The celebration of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address further inspired students to uphold harmony, unity, and service to humanity. Together, the programmes reflected VKV Hurda’s mission of blending cultural heritage with character and leadership development.

VKV Hurda: Excellence in STEM, Creativity and Experiential Learning

The school continues to foster innovation, creativity, and holistic learning among students. In STEM, Pulkit Raj, Bhaskar Prajapati, and Divyanshu Purohit brought laurels at the WSRO Regional Robotics Championship 2025, qualifying for the nationals with their innovative projects. Creativity shone through in a Charcoal Painting & Clay Modelling activities, where students expressed artistic skills while understanding concepts practically. Complementing these initiatives, a two-day educational excursion to Kumbhalgarh Fort, Haldighati, and the Maharana Pratap Museum offered students historical insights, cultural exposure, and teamwork experiences. These activities reflect VKV Hurda’s commitment to blending academic excellence, innovation, and experiential learning.

VKV Rishabhdev: Visit to Third Space in Udaipur

On July 5, 2025, 89 students and 6 teachers from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev, visited Third Space, Udaipur, for a fun-filled educational experience.
The day included exciting workshops such as wall climbing, handicraft making, space exploration, biotechnology, and jugaad innovation, along with engaging sessions on sustainability, library reading, and a climate action movie.

Students learned teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on activities while exploring eco-friendly and scientific concepts in an enjoyable way. The visit concluded with a reflection session, allowing students to express their experiences creatively. Overall, it was a memorable and enriching trip that blended learning with fun, inspiring curiosity, confidence, and awareness about sustainability.

VKV Rishabhdev: Conducted CBSE Workshop on “Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices”

A two-day CBSE training on “Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices” was conducted on July 22 & 23, 2025. The training focused on key areas aligned with NEP 2020 and current educational reforms. Topics covered included NEP 2020, NCF 2023, Holistic Progress Card (HPC), Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), Competency-Based Assessment, and Art-Integrated Learning.

The sessions provided valuable insights into modern assessment techniques, student-centric learning, and the shift from rote-based evaluation to competency-focused practices. It was an enriching experience that will help educators enhance their classroom practices and align with the vision of NEP 2020.

VKV Rishabhdev: All India Yoga Championship 2025

School students delivered an excellent performance at the All India Yoga Championship 2025; Nationwide 20 teams participated at the Sirifort Sports Complex, New Delhi. The hard work and dedication of our young athletes and their mentors culminated in a remarkable success, bringing home three significant medals. Tenil Prajapat demonstrated outstanding prowess to secure the 1st Position in the competitive Under-10 Boys category.

The success continued with Kreet Mali and Nitya Kalasua, both earning the 3rd Position in the Under-12 Boys and Under-12 Girls categories, respectively, underscoring our school's commitment to excellence in sports and yoga. Congratulations to these young achievers for making the school proud! 

VKV Rishabhdev: Visit of Honourable Shashi Madam

Honourable Shashi Madam (Mentor, LNJ Bhilwara Group of Schools) visited VKV Rishabhdev along with Respected Shri Anil sir and Shri Rajendra Kumar Pandey on  August 6, 2025,. The visit included appreciation of students’ SDG projects and a review meeting with HODs.

Key points discussed were implementation of FLN (no exams till Grade 2), parent awareness on new learning methods, activity-based teaching, and teacher development through AIL practices. Madam emphasized holistic child growth, ERP-based operations, fee and leave monitoring, and child safety. Directions were also given to appoint a part-time librarian, arrange a chess coach, promote art and culture through SPIC MACAY, and strengthen co-curricular and club activities.

VKV Rishabhdev: Physical Education Teacher Brings Laurels to the Nation

We are proud to share that Mr. Raj Kashyap, Physical Education Teacher at the school, has brought immense pride to our school and the country by representing India in the 2nd Lankan Trophy, an international Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 21st to 23rd August 2025.

Mr. Kashyap was a part of the Indian Tennis Ball Cricket Team, which showcased exceptional performance throughout the tournament. Competing against strong international team of Sri Lanka, the Indian team emerged victorious and secured the prestigious Gold Medal.

This remarkable achievement is not only a testament to Mr. Raj Kashyap’s dedication and skill in sports but also serves as a great inspiration for our students. His contribution to Indian sports on an international platform highlights the importance of physical education and the impact of school-level sports training.

VKV Rishabhdev: Participation in 10th Mini National Tennis Cricket Championship

For the very first time, our students proudly participated in the 10th Mini National Tennis Cricket Championship 2025-26, held at the historic Karnail Singh Stadium, New Delhi. Among 42 teams from every corner of India – from Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Lakshadweep – our young players stood tall, displaying skill, discipline, and true sportsmanship. With their fighting spirit, they marched ahead to the Pre-Quarter Final Stage!
 

VKV Rishabhdev: Onam Celebration and Teacher's Day Celebration

Our school celebrated Onam and Teacher’s Day together on 4th September with great joy. The campus looked colourful with a beautiful pookalam (floral carpet). A speech and video on Raja Mahabali helped everyone understand the story of Onam. Students of UKG–III performed a skit, and Class VII girls presented a graceful Kaikottikkali dance. An Ona Sadya with delicious Kerala kheer was also enjoyed by all.

Teachers were honoured with cards and shrifal, and students expressed their love through songs, speeches, and a skit. The celebration ended with the Principal’s inspiring words, spreading joy, respect, and togetherness.

VKV Rishabhdev: World Peace Day Celebration

The school celebrated World Peace Day on 26th September 2025 under the guidance of Ms. Vijayshree Yadav, Head of the Institution.

The event aimed to spread the message of peace, kindness, and harmony, aligning with SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. Ms. Yadav presented an informative PPT highlighting the importance of peace, the role of teachers, and values from Soka Gakkai International (SGI) such as gratitude, responsibility, and respect for diversity.

A joyful activity, “Let’s Become Children Again,” conducted by Mr. Raj Kashyap, filled the day with smiles as teachers relived their childhood moments. The celebration concluded with the message that peace begins within us, through small acts of love, respect, and unity.

GHSS: Conducted Inter-School Debate Competition

On August 2, 2025, the school proudly hosted the Inter-School Debate Competition – Verba Bellum: War of Words under the Sahodaya Complex, Bhopal. Centered on the theme “Mental Resilience over Mental Ability: The Need of the 21st Century,” 20 participating schools presented thought-provoking arguments emphasizing the balance between IQ and AQ. Carmel Convent School, BHEL, claimed the First Prize, SPS Gandhi Nagar secured Second, and St. Francis Co-Ed School, Raisen, earned Third.

The winners were felicitated by Mr. Manish Gulati, President, SMC and Executive Director, HEG Ltd., who highlighted the equal importance of emotional strength and intellect. The event was graced by Sister Rose Tom, Vice-President, Sahodaya Complex, and judged by Mr. Nagrajan T, Dr. Teena Tiwari, and Mr. Ekansh Shukla, whose valuable insights enriched the experience for all participants.

GHSS: 11th SGFI State and Division Level Pencak Silat Championships

Graphitians displayed outstanding talent and determination at the SGFI State Pencak Silat Federation Championship held in Ratlam from August 22 to 25, 2025. Twelve students from Classes V to X brought laurels to the school with an impressive medal tally—five Golds, two Silvers, and five Bronzes.

The gold medalists included Liyanshi Junghare, Ananya Sharma, Raj Barange, Anshulika Lodhi, and Nitika Prajapati. Their remarkable achievements reflected rigorous training and true sporting spirit. Continuing this success, 22 students from Classes VI to XII participated in the SGFI Division Level Karate and Wushu Tournament held in Bhopal on August 29, 2025, showcasing their discipline and enthusiasm for martial arts. The school community applauds their commitment, perseverance, and exemplary performance at both levels.
