Cyber Awareness Month: Strengthening Security Across the Organization
Throughout the month of September, we proudly celebrated Cyber Awareness Month across the group companies of LNJ Bhilwara, with a strong commitment to enhancing cybersecurity awareness and reinforcing best practices among all employees. Cybersecurity has become essential to safeguarding our digital assets, personal data, and overall business operations. With this in mind, our IT and leadership teams organized a series of impactful activities designed to educate and engage employees at every level.
Leadership Messages from CIO and Plant Heads
Our leadership played a crucial role in underscoring the importance of cybersecurity. A mailer from our Group CIO was sent to all group employees, emphasizing the need for vigilance and the role each inpidual plays in maintaining a secure workplace. Additionally, Plant Heads across our various sites addressed their teams, reinforcing the message and making cybersecurity a priority at the plant level.
Weekly Cyber Awareness Mailers
To keep cybersecurity at the forefront of everyone’s mind, we sent weekly mailers every Wednesday to all employees across the group. These mailers focused on critical aspects of cybersecurity, including recognizing phishing attempts, creating strong passwords, handling sensitive data, and protecting personal information online. Each mailer provided practical tips and reminders to encourage everyone to adopt secure behaviors in their daily routines.
Targeted IT Employee Training
Understanding that IT personnel are on the front lines of cybersecurity, we created a dedicated training batch specifically for IT employees. This tailored program covered advanced topics and equipped our IT team with the latest insights on identifying threats, mitigating risks, and securing the organization’s infrastructure. This specialized training ensures that our IT staff members remain well-prepared to address any cybersecurity challenges that may arise.
Comprehensive Training for All Employees
Our commitment to cybersecurity extends to every employee, regardless of department or role. We provided comprehensive cybersecurity training across the entire group, enabling all employees to recognize cyber risks and understand the steps necessary to protect both company and personal data. The training sessions were designed to be accessible, interactive, and relevant, making cybersecurity knowledge a fundamental skill for all.
Updated Desktop Banners with Awareness Messages
As a visible reminder of our cybersecurity focus, we updated desktop banners across all systems with timely and relevant awareness messages. These banners served as constant reminders to remain vigilant and reinforce cybersecurity practices throughout the workday.
Formation of the IS & LM Cell
To address cybersecurity concerns efficiently, we established the Information Security & License Management (IS & LM) Cell, dedicated to handling cyber-related issues and incidents across the group. This specialized team is tasked with monitoring, identifying, and resolving cyber threats to ensure the highest levels of security for our organization.
Through these initiatives, we have not only strengthened our cybersecurity posture but also fostered a culture of awareness and responsibility. Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility, and by working together, we can build a more secure digital environment for everyone. RSWM-Rishabhdev: Conducted Fire Mock Drill
Fire Mock drill exercise was conducted at Worker Colony for the workers on July 27, 2024.
A demo was given by the security team as to what should be done in case of fire occurs.
All the workers, staying in workers colony, were participated in this Mock Drill.
RSWM-Rishabhdev: Training Program on “Inter-personal relations”
On August 6, 2024, a training program on “Inter-personal relations” was organized at Rishabhdev. Lr. Col. Siraj Delhve from Enhancing HR Consultancy was the faculty of this program. Asstt. Managers and above-level officers up to AGM, attended the programme.
The program received a good response from the participants and was appreciated by one and all.
RSWM-Rishabhdev: ISO Audit Training Program
A three-day training program for preparing Internal Auditors for our Unit for QMS, EMS, OH & S MS requirements was held from September 12 to 14, 2024.
Staff identified from various departments participated in this training program.
Shri Susheel Sharma from M/s Quality4sure was the faculty of this program.
Various study materials were distributed to all the participants.
After completion of the training program there was a written test and all the participants got certificates from the Agency.
RSWM-Rishabhdev: Organized Nidhi@your door
On August 27, 2024, Officers from the PF department organized a program called “Nidhi@your door” at RSWM, Rishabhdev, in which all the grievances of stakeholders, pensioners, dependent pension, pension benefits of dependents on the death of a pensioner, etc. were resolved on the spot.
Staff Members and workers benefited in many ways, and various long-pending issues with the PF department have been solved through this program.
RSWM Kharigram: Awareness Session on HR Policy
On August 9, 2024, the HR department organized an online training and awareness program to update the numerous modifications of the HR manual, maintain discipline, and regulate the discrepancies in the employee attendance system.
Numerous subjects were discussed, including Mediclaim & Insurance, Loan & Advance Policy, Employee Benefits Online Attendance and Correction System, Short Leave, Correction/OD/Leave processing, and more. 56 employees in all benefited from this initiative.
RSWM Kharigram - Fire Mock Drill
To check the awareness and response of the emergency response team, a Fire Drill was conducted On August 28, 2024 in the worker hostel area. A firefighting awareness session was also done to aware workmen about the use of fire extinguishers, fire equipment and Emergency equipment.
This exercise was led by Safety Manager Shri Dileep Chourasia. He described how to safely handle fire injuries and the emergency safety procedure.
RSWM-Kharigram: Training on “Accident- Cause, Effect & Prevention"
On September 5, 2024, Safety Officer Sh Dileep Chourasia gave a presentation at a training/awareness session on Accident: Cause, Effect, and Prevention. This program covered the areas of engineering, maintenance, security, commerce, and production.
Firefighting, evacuation plans, emergency exits, assembly techniques, and other subjects were discussed. He trained all staff members on how to handle various emergency situations and to abide by safety regulations.
RSWM-Kharigram: Training Session on Keka Software (Staff Payroll)
In order to maintain discipline and regulate the discrepancy in the staff attendance system, the HR department organized an awareness program on July 24, 2024, which included a training session on the Keka Staff Software led by Sh. Manoj Sharma, CHRO, and Deepak Ojha, Manager-HR.
Many topics were covered like Loan & Advance Policy, Online attendance system, Correction system, Short Leave, Correction/OD/Leave processing etc. A total of 56 staff members benefited from this program.
RSWM-Kharigram: Training program on Quality Circle
HR department conducted a training cum awareness session on Quality Circle on August 22, 2024.
Sh Vinod Purohit, Manager-CTSC facilitated this program and explained about QC Tools, methods to implement the Quality Circle system in respective work areas. All HOD and section heads were covered in this program.
RSWM-Kharigram: Training program on CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) - Cardic Arrest
HR department conducted a training cum awareness session training program on CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), lifesaving skills to help save a life during cardiac arrest at the Kharigram unit by a First- Aid trainer from GROW FOUNDATION & Red Cross Society on July 30, 2024.
Life-Saving Skills: CPR can significantly increase the chances of survival during cardiac emergencies. Knowing how to perform CPR effectively can make a crucial difference All HOD and section heads were covered in this program.
RSWM-Kharigram: Visit of Students of VKV School
A group of 110 kids from VKV School went to the Kharigram Unit as part of CSR. All of the pupils were greeted and encouraged by COO Sh. S K Tiwari. The procedure was described by Sh. S. K. Tiwari.
The kids were ecstatic when they learned about the several yarn manufacturing processes in our Sj-11 unit. Their principle expressed gratitude to our management for this visit, saying it will help them expand their expertise. After this, there were some small refreshments.
RSWM-RPSF: Conducted Fire Drill Sessions
To spread fire-safety awareness among staff and workers, 3 fire drills were conducted on July 25, 2024, Aug 25, 2024, and Sep 25, 2024, on a Dry and Wet Drill basis. The safety Officer organized this drill and explained various steps in the safety process to be taken during emergencies.
RSWM-Ringas: Organized First Aid training
A training and awareness program of 'First Aid on Accident: Cause, Effect, & Prevention' was organized on July 22, 2024. It was presented by Shri Aditya Phatak, Grow Foundation-Jaipur.
Engineering, Maintenance, Security, Safety, Dye House, Commercial, and Production departments were covered in this program. He educated all personnel to follow safety rules and how to respond to different emergency situations.
RSWM-Ringas: Educational Tour by School
A Team of 55/60 students and faculties from Sri Sanatan Dharm Panchayat Senior Secondary School, Mandawa, visited the Ringas plant.
The team visited both our Spinning & Fibre plants. The students and teachers were thrilled to see the technicalities of the entire process of waste material to Fibre and Fibre to Yarn process.
RSWM Chhata: TGTs Induction Presentations
In order to ensure a seamless induction, the 2024 batch of TGTs (Textile Graduate Trainees) was inducted into our Chhata units.
n August 12, 2024, TGTs gave presentations on their knowledge and comprehension of the machinery and technologies in our units following a month-long, thorough induction training.
RSWM-Lodha: Organized workshop on Art Of Living
RSWM Lodha recently organized an enriching workshop on the Art of Living, where Shri Naresh Kumar Bahedia, Business Head of GYB, warmly welcomed the team with bouquets. The workshop aimed to promote well-being and mindfulness among participants, providing valuable insights and techniques for leading a balanced and fulfilling life.
Attendees participated in various activities and discussions, enhancing their understanding of personal development and stress management. The program took place at the Staff Club, with staff members and their families in attendance.
Excitingly, the community has committed to organizing a 7-day camp at RSWM Lodha in the coming days, furthering their dedication to well-being and personal growth.
RSWM-Lodha: Conducted First Aid training
On July 26, 2024, Grow Foundation at RSWM Lodha conducted A First Aid training program. Shri Naresh Kumar Bahedia (Business head- GYB) welcomed the trainer, Shri Jignesh Rawal, with a bouquet and a warm speech.
The training focused on the technicalities, rules, and importance of First Aid, equipping employees with essential skills and konwledge to handle emergencies effectively.
RSWM-LNJ Denim: Conducted Training on SA 8000
A training session on SA 8000 was conducted on July 10, 2024 it was imparted by Ms. Anjali Pathak & Mr. Ahish Dixit.
They focused on all major aspects of Social Accountability, Roles & Responsibilities of SPT Members, Process of Internal Audit, Risk Assessment, and compliance, etc. A total of 40 staff members attended the session.
RSWM-LNJ Denim: Conducted Training on HR software KEKA
A training session on Keka was conducted on July 20, 2024. The 2 hours training program was provided to employees.
The training was imparted by Shri Arbind Mishra & Team – HR & IR Dept.
A total of 40 staff members were present. The main objective of the training was to create awareness about the new HR software KEKA so that employees can get used to it.
Besides desktop & laptop, employees can use it on mobile applications as well. Staff members were happy to have new HR Software. A few additional sessions were also organized for staff members to get them familiarized with the software.
RSWM-LNJ Denim: First Aid Training
The First Aid Training was conducted on July 27, 2024, at the LNJ Denim unit.
The eight-hour training program was provided to staff & workers and it was imparted by Shri Jignesh Raval, from the Indian Red Cross Society. He also demonstrated the procedure required during accidents & medical emergencies. He requested all the employees to follow the first aid procedures and provide help to co-workers in any emergency.
A total of 40 staff & workers attended the session which was very beneficial for all.
RSWM-LNJ Denim: Training on Fire & Safety
On July 20, 2024, a training session on fire and safety was conducted by an internal trainer, Mr. Ashish Dixit at Spinning Conference Hall.
The HODs selected 20 participants from each department. Every month, we hold a training to renew the use of safety and fire equipment. He provided instruction both indoors and outdoors by physically demonstrating the equipment's functions and introducing some new safety-related equipment.
RSWM-LNJ Denim: Training on Energy Conservation
Energy conservation is no less than energy generation. On July 3, 2024, Shri Amir Agwani & team imparted the training on energy conversation. They asserted that there are several ways to save energy in our everyday lives, both at home and in the workplace.
Employees and staff learned about energy saving and how to use it most effectively.
HEG Limited: Industrial Visit of Students
To give industrial exposure to the students from reputed colleges, HEG Limited gave a chance to the students to visit our organization and gain learnings regarding the overall general process of Electrode Manufacturing.
Students from Sri Satya Sai Women’s College on July 16, 2024, Oriental Institute of Science and Technology on August 28, 2024, and Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management on September 30, 2024, visited the HEG plants.
This gives a platform for the students to groom themselves and can fill them with the core knowledge about the manufacturing process.
HEG always encourages the learning and development of the students as well, so that in the future the talent could find its way to meet a desired destination.
HEG Limited: Conducted employee engagement activities
The employee engagement activity describes the dedication and faith in his or her respective job.
To promote team-building, many activities were performed by the employees from various departments.
The motive for organizing this event was to focus on several factors such as communication, eam building, boosting morale, and many more aspects.
The response to this event was overwhelming and employees were enthusiastic. The training was conducted in Graphite House Lawn on September 30, 2024. This training was supported by our Hon’ble ED Shri Manish Gulati Ji and Head of HR department Shri Axay Saxena Ji. The coordinators for this training were Mr. Shamit Tiwari and Ms. Ankita and her team from Tathastu Health Center.
Considering the employees' reactions, these tasks will become increasingly difficult in the future.
MPCL: Conducted fire mock drill
MPCL conducted a Mock Drill on September 27, 2024, involving all project components to test its Emergency Preparedness & Response Planning. The scenario of the mock drill was finalized and implemented with effectiveness.
Maral Sarovar: Conducted Training Program on Sustainable Production & Traceability
A training program on Sustainable production and traceability was conducted at Maral Sarovar for the staff by Mr. Rameshwar Jha, Manager (Compliance).
A batch of 40 staff members were appraised of the importance of sustainable production, traceability, and various systems to be followed which are mandatory for global business.
Maral Sarovar: TGTs Induction Meeting
After completion of Induction Training, two TGTs Mr. Abhishek Jangid & Mr. Pradeep Kumar, gave their feedback through a PPT presentation on their training. All senior Officers were present in this meeting.
RSWM-Mandapam: Conducted training on Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
A training program on Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) was conducted at Mandpam Unit on 27 September 2024. The primary objective of this session was to train the participants in the proper use of SCBA for rescue operations during emergencies.
Shri Anil Bishnoi, Senior Engineer - Fire & Safety, was the faculty for this training program.
His expertise provided the participants with valuable information on the operation and maintenance of SCBA units, ensuring that they are well prepared for any emergency situation.
