VKV Hurda: Attended Natyashastra performance by Moksh Group at Aurobindo Ashram Delhi

Four students from our vidyalaya attended the program Natyashastra performance by Moksh Group from Pune at Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi. The Moksh Group's Natyashastra performance was a mesmerizing tribute to Shri Rabindranath Tagore's poem.

The program was a fitting tribute to Late Shri Devki Nandan jhunjhunwala's memory.

VKV Hurda: Celebrated Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas

On July 26, 2024, the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda, courtesy of the Ex-Servicemen Service Council. Subdivision Officer Mr. Rohit Chauhan, Ex-Serviceman Tehsildar Mr. Ranveer Singh, Development Officer Mr. Samudra Singh, Sarpanch Saheb, and dignitaries of Hurda village were present in the program.

VKV Hurda: Conducted educational excursion

The students of Class 10 embarked on an educational excursion to Bhilwara in August 2024, visiting the local dairy campus of Saras Dairy. This immersive experience aimed to broaden students' knowledge of dairy farming practices, milk processing techniques, and the vital role of the dairy industry. By witnessing firsthand the various stages of milk production, from milking to packaging, students gained practical insights and a deeper appreciation for the efforts involved in providing fresh, nutritious dairy products.

VKV Hurda: Conducted career counseling session

The career counseling session was conducted by an esteemed IAS officer from New Delhi, Director Aakashvani, for the benefit of students, which was packed with enthusiastic students eager to gain valuable insights into their career paths.

VKV Hurda: Conducted Industrial Visit to RSWM Kharigram

The students of classes XI and XII embarked on an industrial visit to RSWM Kharigram, Gulabpura.

The purpose of this visit was twofold: for Class XII students to observe and analyze the application of Fayol's principles in a real industrial setting, and for Class XI students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry and its various processes.

VKV Hurda: Conducted CBSE Safal Examination 2024

The Structured Assessment for Analysing Learning (SAFAL) exam, initiated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), was successfully conducted. This exam was organized to evaluate the overall capabilities of Grade 8 and Grade 5 students, going beyond memorization to test their understanding of core concepts, ability to apply knowledge, and higher-order thinking skills.

VKV Hurda: Felicitation Ceremony for Meritorious Alumni

The School recently hosted a special event to honor two of its brightest alumni, CA Lakshita Garg and CA Aditi Kabra, both from the 2019 batch. These remarkable individuals recently cleared the prestigious CA Final examination in July 2024, a testament to their dedication, hard work, and exceptional academic abilities.

The event was a celebration of their success and a source of inspiration for current and future students. The college community extended their heartfelt congratulations to the young achievers and wished them continued success in their professional endeavors.

VKV Hurda: Conducted session on CPR Training and Gynecological Awareness

The objective of the session was to educate students on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques and to raise awareness about gynecological health among female students.

VKV Hurda: Participated in Inter School Dance Competition

On August 14, 2024, VVV Maral Sarovar School hosted an Inter-School Dance Competition centered around the theme of patriotism.

Students from all Bhilwara group schools showcased their talent and passion through energetic and expressive performances. The competition was a vibrant celebration of cultural heritage and artistic expression, where participants captivated the audience with their synchronized moves, colorful costumes, and heartfelt emotions, leaving a lasting impression.

Dr. Mahendra Dia, an alumnus of our school, conducted an engaging career counseling session, sharing his expertise and experiences in agriculture, horticulture, and biology research.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Conducted workshop on eco-friendly Ganesha Idol making

VVV Maral organized a workshop focused on eco-friendly Ganesh idol-making, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During this event, students showcased their creativity by crafting beautifully designed Ganesh idols out of mud clay. These artistic creations highlighted the students' talent and imagination.

The workshop aimed to educate the importance of preserving clean water by advocating for the immersion of Ganesh statues in buckets rather than in rivers.

VVV Maral Sarovar - Vermicomposting project

In recent updates, Jaivika Kushwah, a dedicated SDG Club student, is emphasizing the importance of organic fertilizers, particularly vermicompost.

She has established a vermicomposting facility on her father’s farmland and is now selling high-quality organic manure. With over 45 local customers, her initiative supports sustainable agriculture and enhances terrace gardening in the community.

Through her efforts, she is raising awareness about the benefits of organic farming and empowering her neighbors to cultivate healthier crops while keeping healthier soil.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Organo Mosquito Dhoop-Batti Making

The Organo Mosquito Dhoopbatti project, initiated by Gouri Soni and Ayushraj Thakur, aims to offer an eco-friendly mosquito repellent using natural ingredients like neem, citronella, and camphor.

By using sustainable production techniques, biodegradable packaging, and local community participation, the project reduces environmental harm, improves human health, and eliminates reliance on harmful chemicals.

VVV Maral Sarovar SDG Updates - Eco Brick Project

The eco-brick project led by Ishan Rathod is actively involving students in collecting eco-bricks. An eco-brick is a plastic bottle tightly filled with used plastic, repurposing it into a robust building material that effectively sequesters waste.

These eco-bricks are utilized to create stools, sofas, and a variety of other structures, significantly contributing to sustainable initiatives and promoting environmental responsibility within the community. It encourages the use of less carbon in construction materials.

VVV Maral Sarovar SDG Updates: Rain Water Harvesting

This project introduces an innovative rainwater harvesting system that connects the roof to a water tank, efficiently filtering rainwater for daily use. The collected water serves various purposes, including bathing, washing dishes, watering plants, and cleaning.

Its successful implementation has inspired other residents in the colony to adopt similar systems, significantly addressing water scarcity and ensuring access to clean water, especially during the rainy season.

More than 15 Families in the student’s locality adopted this method and benefited.

VVV Maral Sarovar Sports Updates: CBSE Sahodaya Inter School Chess Tournament

Students performed exceptionally well at the CBSE Sahodaya Inter School Chess Tournament in August 2024.

We are proud to share that Ishan Rathod of class X won the Gold Medal in the Under-19 category, and Shourya Jadon of class VIII won the Gold Medal in the Under-14 category, defeating tough contestant players from 20 other schools.

VVV Maral Sarovar Sports Updates: CBSE Sahodaya Inter School Table Tennis Competition

Students participated in the CBSE Sahodaya Inter School Table Tennis Competition 2024 in September 2024. Our students showed their caliber and agility.

In the U-14 category Boys' Team of Shourya Jadon, Vansh Thakur, and Chaitanya Jha Secured 1st Place winning the Gold Medal. In the U-19 category Boys' Team of Shubham Dhere/Ayush Patel/Drona Jha Secured 2nd Place winning the Silver Medal

VVV Maral Sarovar Sports Updates: Ju-Jitsu Championship

Students represented Madhya Pradesh State in the 1st West Zone Ju-Jitsu Championship in July 2024 held at Dewas. The students taking a training in the sport since last year in school performed well in this championship and won medals in Newaza and fighting System.

Daksh Kushwah class VIII won a Gold medal and 7 other students of class VII VIII and IX won a Bronze medal each, namely- Adi Solanki, Abhigyan Moyade, Madhusudhan Patidar, Vansh Thakur, Ansh Kumrawat, Tanmay Kumrawat, Yash Patidar.

VVV Maral Sarovar Sports Updates: The SGFI District Level Athletics Competition

The event attracted widespread participation, with over 900 athletes from 20 schools across the district competing in a variety of track and field events, including the 100m, 200m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m races, 3000m fast walk race, shot put, and discus throw. VVV Maral students made significant achievements as:

1. Jitendra Tomar (U-14 Boys) won100m Race: Gold medal and Shot Put: Silver medal

2. Vanshika Panwar (U-19 Girls) won 800m Race: Silver medal and 3000m Race: Bronze

3. Yuthika Panwar (U-19 Girls) won the Shot Put: Silver medal

4. Abhishek Chouhan (U-19 Boys) w on1500m Race: Bronze medal

5. Divya Yadav (U-17 Girls) won 3000m Walk: Silver medal

6. Minakshi Sohani (U-17 Girls) won the 3000m Walk: Gold medal.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Health Camp

National Doctors Day, celebrated on July 1, 2024, was marked with enthusiasm at VVV Maral under the theme "Healing Hands, Caring Hearts."

This event honoured doctors and medical professionals for their unwavering dedication to society, particularly during challenging times like the pandemic. We conducted a Health camp With the Support of Dr. Sharad Soni, a resident doctor at Maral Overseas Ltd.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Parent Orientation Program and Pre-PTM

"Coming together is a beginning ,

Keeping together is progress,

Working together is a success."

With this wonderful thought, a parent orientation program was held in school for the parents of Nur to 4th class. In this parent orientation program chrysalis curriculum was introduced by resource person Mr. Shyam Makwana and also the ERP training was conducted.

Additionally, The Pre-PTM was held in school and The meeting aimed to foster effective communication between parents and teachers, providing a platform to discuss students' academic progress, behavior, and overall development.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Awareness Campaign on Mobile Addiction

An awareness drama on Mobile Addiction, focused on the importance of limiting mobile phone use was conducted by Pre-Primary teachers and students.

The objective of the activity were to help students identify behaviors that indicate excessive mobile use, such as ignoring friends or family. Students could relate to the characters' experiences, enhancing their emotional understanding of the impact of technology on social relationships. The drama began with a discussion of the importance of staying focused. Master Vihaan, a playful character, expressed his love for mobile games, while her mother was concerned about his eyes. Through the characters, the drama illustrates the distractions that phones can create.

Graphite School: Organized Aryabhatta Foundation's Astronomy Quiz Competition

To inspire young minds and broaden career perspectives in the sciences, the Aryabhatta Foundation organized an online Astronomy Quiz Competition for students in classes VI to IX.

The preliminary round, held on August 22, 2024, saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 500 students, with 15 outstanding participants advancing to the final round.

Scheduled for December 28, 2024, the final round offers top performers an exceptional prize: a visit to an observatory of their choice from among Dongla, Kavalur, Kodaikanal, Nainital, Udaipur, or Mount Abu. This 3-5 day experience includes interactive sessions with scientists, hands-on training in telescope operation, and practical sky reading.

The quiz aims to cultivate a deeper appreciation for astronomy, encouraging students to explore the vast wonders of the cosmos.

Collaborating with the Space Application Centre, Ahmedabad, and ISRO’s Master Control Facility in Bhopal, the center offered space-themed activities for school and college students.

Event highlights included a Water Rocketry Competition with over 23 teams, where Graphitians proudly took third place, and a Poster Making Competition, featuring creative works from nine students. An interactive panel with ISRO experts discussed "Atmanirbhar Bharat in Space by 2047," inspiring students towards STEM and space careers.

The event enhanced skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, scientific inquiry, teamwork, and communication, fostering a passion for space exploration among young minds.

Graphite School: CBSE Regional Level Skill Expo

The CBSE Regional Level Skill Expo, held on August 23, 2024, at DPS Kolar Road, provided an interactive platform for students to showcase practical skills and learn from industry experts. Graphite Higher Secondary School participated with two teams under the theme “Beauty, Health, and Wellness.” Team I, guided by Ms. Manisha Shrivastava, presented an Organic Kajal created by students Angel Chouhan and Anshi Malviya of Class IX. Team II, led by Ms. Neeta Bhansali, displayed a Beetroot Lip Balm developed by Robby Singh and Yogita Mehra of Class XI.

Running alongside the Skill Expo, the CBSE Guidance Festival-2024 hosted five Graphite students and teachers, Ms. Neha Dubey and Mr. Hariom Arya, offering career insights and networking opportunities. The expo was a rewarding experience, with Graphite School's innovative projects receiving praise from educators and peers alike.

Graphite School: Eco-Friendly Ganesha Making Workshop

From September 4-6, 2024, the school hosted an eco-friendly Ganesha idol-making workshop, where students crafted their own idols using sustainable materials like clay and recycled resources.

Guided by art and craft teachers, the students enthusiastically embraced this hands-on activity, combining creativity with environmental awareness. Once completed, the idols were set aside to dry, ready to be used in the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

This workshop fostered a sense of cultural pride and environmental responsibility, leaving participants with a lasting sense of accomplishment and joy.

On August 17, 2024, SDG Club students held an impactful exhibition on Global Warming, presenting models that emphasized the urgent need to conserve natural resources.

Parents and visitors highly appreciated the students' creativity and commitment to environmental awareness. This exhibition not only showcased students’ learning but also underscored the importance of integrating practical knowledge with classroom studies, reinforcing real-world applications of environmental education.

Through their efforts, the students effectively spread awareness about sustainable practices and the critical role of every individual in combating climate change.

All India Independence Cup Karate Championship

From August 1-5, 2024, the All India Independence Cup Karate Championship took place at Tal Katora Stadium, New Delhi. Representing Graphite Higher Secondary School, seventh-grade students Kanishka Lodhi and Aarti Noel showcased their skills, each earning a bronze medal in their respective categories, bringing pride and recognition to the school on a national platform.

District-Level Karate Championship

On August 8, 2024, Graphite School hosted the district-level karate championship organized by the School Games Federation of India. The event drew 200 participants from across Raisen district. Graphite School was proudly represented by 23 students, with 15 qualifying for the upcoming Bhopal Division-level championship—a remarkable achievement that reflects the school’s commitment to athletic excellence.

Painting Competition - Swachhta Pakhwada

In a painting competition held on September 19, 2024, at the Regional Science Centre as part of Swachhta Pakhwada, several students shone with top ranks. Soumya Jhod (Class 3) won first place, Mahika Chourasia (Class 4) earned a special second rank, and Divyanshi Thakur (Class 8) secured a special first rank in the senior category.

Garba Dance Competition

Class 8 student Bhawesh Kori made an impressive impact at the 2024 Garba Dance Competition organized by Yash Entertainment, Bhopal. As First Runner-up, Bhawesh’s energetic performance captivated the audience and judge, veteran actor Raza Murad. He was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation and a prize of INR 7,000, celebrating his talent and dedication to the arts.

VKV Rishabhdev: Achievement in Prestigious Khelo Chess India FIDE 100

Dhruvin Jain, our student achieved a remarkable feat by securing 1st position in the Prestigious Khelo Chess India FIDE 100 Guinness World Record Attempt, Blitz Tournament 2024. His outstanding performance led to an impressive 115-point increase in his FIDE rating.

We are immensely proud of Dhruvin's dedication and achievement, which serves as an inspiration to all aspiring chess players.

VKV Rishabhdev: Conducted National Youth Parliament

Just like the parliament session, our students of class X, conducted Kishore Sabha on September 9, 2024, an idea for school students by CBSE. Invitation, Planning, Budgeting, Organizing & Conduction of the whole program was done by our students themselves.

During the assembly, Brotherhood Day was celebrated with heartfelt speeches and group activities emphasizing unity and friendship.

Students participated in team-building exercises, fostering a spirit of inclusiveness and cooperation. The event highlighted the importance of empathy and support among peers.

VKV Rishabhdev: Conducted Annual Investiture Ceremony

Our school held its Annual Investiture Ceremony, coinciding with the 78th Independence Day celebrations.

The event marked the formal induction of the new Student Council, emphasizing leadership, responsibility, and service. Dignitaries, along with teachers and parents, witnessed the oath-taking ceremony, where newly elected leaders pledged to uphold the values of our school. The ceremony inspired students to take active roles in shaping a positive school environment, fostering a sense of harmony and teamwork.
