RSWM-Chhata: Conducted Plantation Drive

Let's give our world a greener and pollution-free environment. It's our prime responsibility to provide and leave a healthy environment for generations to come. Trees play an important role in a cleaner and greener environment.

A tree plantation was organized in Chhata Units on July 20, 2024.

All department heads planted the samplings to send a message that it's our duty too to take care of our surrounding environment.

RSWM-Ringas: Tree Plantation Mission in Rajasthan

On the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under the Ek Tree Maa Ke Naam campaign, the Rajasthan government will plant 7 crore saplings in the entire state under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma & Rajasthan Government Forest Minister Shri Sanjay Sharma.

Under this program, in RSWM-Ringas, we did a Tree Plantation campaign on our mill premises. SDM-Ringas Shri Deepanshu Choudhary was the chief guest and inaugurated the campaign in our mill campus on July 3, 2024.

RSWM-Ringas: Opened Drinking Water Pipeline for Public

As a CSR initiative, RSWM-Ringas held a Pyavu outside the main gate on National Highway11 in accordance with directives from the Chief Secretary of the Rajasthan Government and Nagar Palika-Ringas.

This facility benefits a lot of individuals, including mill workers, Khatushyamji pilgrims, and outsiders.

RSWM-RPSF: Eye check-up at Fiber Plant

Under the CSR activities, a free eye checkup medical camp was organized in the RPSF plant for all staff & workers. Everyone enthusiastically participated in this camp and availed of this facility.

ADHPL: Provided computer and water purifier to school in Naggar block of Kullu

One computer with all accessories including a printer was given to Govt. Primary School, Shegli on Sep. 02, 2024. The school is located in a remote area of Naggar block of Kullu. The computer will help in improving educational facilities at the school. The School Management Committee and the School thanked team ADHPL for the CSR initiative.

Extending its CSR initiatives, AD Hydro Power Ltd. provided a water purifier to Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Nathan to make available clean drinking water for students of the school. Principal & staff of Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Nathan thanked the Company.

ADHPL: Desks provided to school

Being committed to strengthening the education system in Manali and providing quality infrastructure for budding children; the ADHPL provided 80 double-seated desks to Government Central Primary School, Manali on Sep 20, 2024. Earlier the children of the school used to sit on the mats in the school. School staff thanked the team and appreciated the CSR scheme of  ADHPL.

ADHPL: Conducted Greenery Development Program 2024

A plantation drive was organized with local women's self-help groups under the ADHPL greenery development plan on Sep 05, 2024.

Plantation of saplings of different species was carried out in Shuru, Prini, Jagatsukh, Bhanara, and Aleo villages. Approx. 4200 saplings of deodar and other broad-leaved species were planted. These activities will also raise awareness of environment and greenery development among the local villagers and employees.

A team from head office comprising Mr. O.P. Ajmera (Director, CEO & CFO), Mr. Claudio Vissa (Consultant), Mr. German Vera (Consultant), Mr. Rakesh Mahajan and others visited ADHPL. The team also participated in the plantation drive and planted saplings of deodar trees near Hamta Potato Farm.

ADHPL: Opened sewing and tailoring centers in villages

Sewing training and tailoring centers for local women were restarted in villages Jagatsukh and Bhanu in July 2024 and Bandrol from April 2024 under ADHPL CSR activities, and a new tailoring center was started in village Khaknal.

This will empower the target group of women to earn their livelihood while being at home. The vocational training is being provided by a trained female trainer.

ADHPL: Provided Cricket Kit to the Police Department of Manali

AD Hydro Power Ltd. donated two complete sets of cricket kits to the Police Department Manali on Sep. 17, 2024, for conducting the interdepartmental cricket tournament at Dhalpur ground in Kullu.

 

The cricket kits were provided to increase the awareness of the sport among the public. The Police Department thanked AD Hydro Power Ltd. for this support.

 

MPCL: Installation of Solar Lights

MPCL installed 10 solar lights, in village Chowki, Kullu. H.P.

A need was identified after a cloud burst & flash flood incident occurred in the vicinity, during the month of August 2024.

MPCL: Restoring Cultivability of Land after Flash Flood

On August 1, 2024, a cloud burst incident happened. As a result of the flash flood, the river redirected its course toward the cultivated land area of the village Chowki in Kullu, filling the entire agricultural area with sand and debris.

Under its CSR programs, MPCL started to remove the sand and debris to restore the land's ability to be farmed.
