RSWM-Ringas: Management Window Session on “Six Sigma”.

Management Window Session on "Six Sigma“  was conducted on 18th January 2025 in Ringas HRD Centre, which was led by Shri Rajeev Kumar Dixit – Sr.General Manager (HR&IR).

RSWM-Rishabhdev: Training on 'Fire & Safety'

On 20th February, 2025, a training programme on “Fire & Safety” was organized at Rishabhdev.  Mr. Pranay Jani was the faculty member of this programme. Various staff members attended the programme.  The programme received a good response from the participants and was appreciated by all.  A fire mockdrill was also organized as part of this training programme.

RSWM-RPSF: Conducted Fire Drill Sessions

To spread awareness among staff and workers, 3 fire drills were conducted in January, February, and  March 2025 on a Dry Drill and Wet Drill basis.

Drills had been conducted under the supervision of the Safety Officer. During the drill, several fire safety activities were performed, and the process of mitigating emergencies was explained.

RSWM-LNJ Denim: Industrial Visit by Govt. Sr. Sec. School Students, Jhallara (Udaipur)

A group of sixty students from Govt. Sr. Sec. School Students, Jhallara, Udaipur, visited Denim Unit on 6th February, 2025. Students & teachers were highly impressed to see the plant and the campus environment. Shri Arbind Mishra – Head - HR & IR Department welcomed the students and introduced them to the entire unit with key team functions & the concept of LNJ Denim products & services. He had also given some tips for career opportunities in their upcoming future. To motivate and involve students in extra activities, we asked students to write an essay on this topic & submit it to the plan. Students enjoyed the visit & high tea arrangements were also there for them.

RSWM-LNJ Denim: ISO45001:2018 Social Audit

LNJ Denim Unit underwent an ISO 45001:2018 social and environmental audit by the BSI team (Shri Baldev Dhiman, Shri Satyendra Pal Singh, & Jasveer Singh) from February 13th to 15th, 2025. The audit of the unit's systems and processes was successful, leading to continued certification, with support from HODs and their teams.

RSWM-LNJ Denim: Training on 'Safalta Ki Sheedhi'

A very good motivational program of 'Safalta Ki Sheedhi was organized from 24th March to 29th March, 2025, at LNJ Denim, Mordi, in which 39 staff members & 273 workers were covered; it was imparted in 8 batches. Trainer Shri S P Shah had imparted this training in a very good gesture.

We all got to know about the ABCD of success in our lives. It was a good programme to find out the inner potential of an employee. It was elaborated on how a man becomes capable in four aspects of health, knowledge, money & character. The main objective of 'Safalta Ki CD was to raise awareness among employees of success. He told us about A for aim of our life, company, B for Behaviour, C for Communication, and D for discipline.

It was a great learning experience for the employees. All the participants were highly appreciative of the programme, and they learned so many good things that can change and improve their lives. 

RSWM-Lodha: Presentation by TGTs

On 07th January 2025, the TGT shared the learnings from the internship programme with all staff at RSWM Lodha. A presentation was prepared, and the TGT shared the insights with everyone. The program was well-received and appreciated by all attendees. TGT had a good learning experience during their working period of the programme.

RSWM-Lodha: Conducted SA 8000 Audit

The SA 8000 Surveillance Audit was conducted on 15th February 2025 by BSI auditors Shri Sanjay Bharadwaj and Mr. Mukesh Kumar.

The audit was completed without any non-compliance issues, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Shri Dilip Singh (Lodha Management Representative) and Shri Abhimanyu Singh (Unit Coordinator).

RSWM-Banswara: PMKVY Certification Programme

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is a flagship initiative by the Government of India aimed at enhancing the employability of workers through skill development training. Under this scheme, external trainers conduct training, with different batches organized to accommodate varying skill levels. Trainees who complete the program receive certification, which significantly boosts their job prospects.

The entire scheme is overseen by the Training Department under the leadership of Shri Sukhendra Pal Sharma. Additionally, all members associated with PMKVY were awarded certificates, further enhancing their morale and confidence.

RSWM-Lodha: IT Training on Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams

IT Training was organized at RSWM Lodha for all employees, conducted in multiple batches. Mr. Sanjay Upadhyay (Sr. Manager – IT) and his team provided valuable guidance on using online meeting platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, covering how to open, schedule, and attend virtual meetings effectively

RSWM-Kharigram: Training on Safety Practices at Workplace

A Safety Awareness Programme was conducted on 15th February 2025, led by Shri Dileep Chourasia, Senior Manager – Safety. The session was attended by personnel from Engineering, Maintenance, Security, Commercial, and Production departments.

Key topics covered during the program included:

  • Fire Fighting Techniques
  • Evacuation Plans
  • Emergency Exits
  • Assembly Methods

Shri Chourasia emphasized the importance of strictly adhering to safety protocols and provided guidance on how to effectively respond during various emergency situations. The session was highly informative and aimed at reinforcing a culture of safety across the plant.

RSWM-Kharigram: HR Awareness Programme on Employee Benefits

An awareness programme was conducted by the HR Department on 22nd February 2025 to update employees on the recent revisions in the HR Manual, specifically related to Employee Benefits.

During the session, all key aspects of employee benefits were thoroughly explained, ensuring clarity and understanding among the participants. A total of 38 staff members attended and benefited from the program.

The session was well-received, and participants appreciated the initiative. They also encouraged the HR team to conduct such awareness programs periodically to keep employees informed and engaged.

RSWM-Kharigram: External Training on Electrical Safety & Emergency Preparedness

An external training programme on Electrical Safety & Emergency Preparedness was organized on 7th March 2025, and was conducted by Shri Anurodh Prashant, a renowned External Safety Expert and Auditor.

The session was attended by staff from Engineering, Maintenance, Security, and Production departments. It focused on enhancing awareness and preparedness for handling electrical hazards and emergency situations in the workplace.

Key topics covered included:

  • Fire Fighting Techniques
  • Workplace Safety Practices
  • Proper Handling of Tools
  • Response During Emergencies

The training was highly informative and practical, aiming to strengthen the overall safety culture within the organization.

RSWM-Kharigram: Plant Visit by Students of Senior Secondary Government School, Baneda

As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts and promoting Learning & development, a group of 85 students from a Senior Secondary Government School visited the Kharigram Unit for an educational tour.
During the visit, our technical team provided insightful explanations about the yarn manufacturing process, particularly within our SJ-11 Unit. The students showed great enthusiasm as they learned about the various stages of production and expressed genuine excitement about the hands-on exposure.

The visit concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the school’s Principal, who acknowledged the positive impact of the visit on the students’ learning and career awareness. The program ended on a warm note with light refreshments served to all participants. 

RSWM-Kanyakheri: Staff Training On Team Work

The unit organized a staff training program on "Teamwork & its Importance" on 22 April 2025 in accordance with the training need identified by Respected Shri Y.D. Tiwari Sir, In the training program, respected Shri Harish Joshi Sir led an enlightening and inspiring session on "Team Work & Current Challenges".

RSWM-Kanyakheri: Staff Training On Interpersonal Skills

We organized a staff training session on "Interpersonal Skills" based on the movie "Bawarchi", for all staff employees on 8th January 2025 by Mr. Harish Joshi Ji (Dy. COO MYB) and Mr. Rajkumar Panchal (HR/Training).

RSWM-Kanyakheri: Organised Customer Complaint Awareness Training Program

A customer complaint awareness training program was organized in the Kanyakheri unit by Mr. Harendra Samdhiya (DGM Tech) and Mr. Arun Kumar Tiwari (Sr. Manager), in which all the workers were covered. So that the same customer complaint does not come again and training was designed for this.

RSWM-Kanyakheri: Skill Competition For Workers

A skill competition was organized for the RingFrame and AutoConer departments at the Kanyakheri unit on February 20, 2025. The highest-skilled workers were recognized with awards.

RSWM-Mandpam: SA 8000:2014 Audit

The Mandpam unit went through SA 8000:2014 Surveillance audit by BSI Auditor Mr. Sanjay Bhardwaj & Mr. Asoke Dasgupta from 26th February to 27th February 2025 under the direction of Sh. Y.D. Tiwari (BH & CE) & Sh. Harish Joshi (DY. COO). All HODs and their respective teams ably supported the Management Representative Mr. Pankaj Khandelwal to conduct the audit successfully. The Certification is continued after audit clearance.

RSWM-Mandapam: Conducted Fire Safety Training

A training programme on Fire Safety & use of Fire Hydrant System was organized at Mandpam Unit on 19th January 2025.

The main objective was to create awareness of the use of fire hydrant systems at the time of fire. Mr. Anil Bishnoi (Sr. Engineer – Fire & Safety) was the faculty for this training programme.

RSWM-Mandapam: Certificate Distribution Ceremony

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program was successfully conducted to acknowledge and certify the skills of experienced workers. A certificate distribution ceremony was held on 10-03-2025 to felicitate the candidates who completed the RPL training and assessment.

This initiative not only empowers the workforce by validating their existing skills but also enhances their employability and morale. The event marked a significant step towards building a skilled and self-reliant India, in line with the vision of the Skill India Mission.

RSWM-Mandpam: Movie-Based Learning Session

On 8th March 2025, RSWM Mandpam unit organized a movie-based learning session for staff employees at all levels, featuring the film “A Prayer for Rain”, based on the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy.

The film provided a powerful depiction of one of the world’s worst industrial disasters, highlighting the importance of safety, accountability, and proactive risk management. Following the screening, a group discussion was held to reflect on key learnings and safety practices.

The session was impactful and well-received, reinforcing our commitment to a safe and responsible working environment.

ADHPL: Driving Simulation Training

The driving simulation training was organized on 11th February 2025 for all drivers and operators of AD Hydro Power Ltd. and TL line through the external agency M/s Safety Circle Pvt. Limited.

A total of 28 drivers, including Heavy Machinery Operators and 10 staff members, participated in the training program. The participants appreciated the training program organized at the workplace, as it was an eye-opening experience for them.

ADHPL: Cyber Security Awareness Session for Women

On the occasion of International Women's Day on 8th March 2025, a cybersecurity awareness session was held at ADHPL for the women employees. The session was organized in coordination with CERT-In, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, through an online mode.

A total of 10 women employees of ADHPL attended this session, which was organized to create awareness among the women workers of the company about Cyber Security Laws.

ADHPL: 2nd Surveillance Audit of ISO 27001:2022

2nd Surveillance Audit of ISO 27001:2022 was successfully completed on 24th February, 2025. The audit was conducted by the Auditors from the TUV certifying agency. During the audit, the auditors inspected all the relevant documents pertaining to ISMS and also interacted with different Department In-charges and employees of ADHPL. After completion, the auditor recommended for continuation of certification of ISMS for another year.

ADHPL: 1st Management Review Committee Meeting of IMS

The Management Review Committee Meeting for IMS (Certification Year 2024-25) was held on March 10, 2025, in the Conference Hall, Ground Floor, Admin Block at ADHPL. Section In-Charges, Committee Members, and workers from various departments attended the meeting.

MPCL: Mockdrill to evaluate emergency preparedness and planning

The Company conducted a mock emergency drill to assess its preparedness and planning. The scenario simulated a heavy leakage from a drain valve on the MIV floor of the power generation house, leading to flooding, and a subsequent fire on the generator floor caused by an electrical short circuit.

MPCL: Plant Safety Committee Meeting Conducted

The Safety Committee Meeting of the MPCL site was held at 16:00 hrs on 27th March, 2025, at the Conference Hall, to discuss issues related to the implementation of occupational health, Safety, and environment in MPCL. This time, the involvement of workers was increased.

MPCL: 2nd IMS Internal Audit

2nd Internal Audit of IMS (ISO 9001: 2015, 14001:2015 & 45001:2018) was carried on 29 & 31 March, 2025 for the current certification year. The Internal Audit was carried out by MPCL’s trained Internal Auditors.

Before proceeding to the Internal Audit of Integrated Management System lead auditors had a discussion on working documents, audit criteria, scope, and checklist with the Management Representative for better results.

MPCL: 2nd Surveillance Audit of ISO/IEC 27001:2022

The second Surveillance Audit of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 was completed successfully on 25th Feb, 2025. The audit was conducted by TUV-SUD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. certifying agency, and they recommended MPCL for the continuation of the ISMS certificate for another year.

MPCL: 3rd Internal Audit of ISMS

3rd Internal Audit of ISMS ISO 27001:2022 for the certification year 2025-26 was conducted successfully on 8th February 2025 by the MPCL Internal Auditors as per the given schedule and time.

HEG Ltd.: Industrial Visits by Students

A skill competition was organized for the RingFrame and AutoConer departments at the Kanyakheri unit on February 20, 2025. The highest-skilled workers were recognized with awards.

HEG Ltd. believes in offering platforms for student development, aiming to equip future talent with core industry knowledge to help them achieve their career aspirations.

TACC: Innovative Learning on AI Day

TACC Limited continues to promote a culture of innovation and learning through the monthly observance of AI Day, held every third Friday. This initiative brings together employees across departments to explore the use of AI in their day-to-day work, share practical experiences, and address common challenges.

The sessions focus not only on how AI tools can improve productivity but also on the responsible use of AI, especially in terms of data privacy and safe information sharing. Each AI Day includes tool demonstrations, team experiences, and hands-on guidance for using AI more effectively.

The first AI Day held on 17th Jan 25, focused on prompt writing, content verification, and introduced tools like Perplexity, NotebookLM, and Gamma.app. The second session on 21st Feb 25 addressed data safety, introduced local model usage via LM Studio, and featured insights from team members on real-time benefits. On the third AI Day, on 21st March 25 TACC’s finance team demonstrated how AI has helped streamline processes, along with live demos using Google AI Studio and Perplexity.

The initiative has fostered awareness, enhanced productivity, and built a more AI-ready workforce at TACC. More such sessions are planned to continue strengthening our collective learning journey.
