Victory at the 28th WTSKF Interstate Karate Championship

Graphite School made a powerful mark at the 28th W.T.S.K.F. Interstate Karate Championship, held at Sri Aurobindo School, Bhopal, from January 10 to 12, 2025. Competing against participants from over 28 schools, 32 students from our school showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship.

Their efforts earned the school a total of 15 gold, 7 silver, and 13 bronze medals, ultimately clinching the Overall Championship Trophy—a testament to the dedication of our young athletes and their mentors.

GHSS: Seed Bank Initiative (SDG Club)

As part of the SDG Club’s green initiative, Graphite School proudly established a dedicated seed bank to promote biodiversity and sustainable agriculture. Club members were trained in seed identification, cleaning, drying, and preservation. On January 31, 2025, during the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony, dignitaries were presented with seeds as eco-friendly tokens of gratitude, symbolizing the school’s commitment to a greener future.

GHSS: Medal Haul at the Asmita Pencak Silat League

Graphite students showcased exceptional talent at the Asmita Pencak Silat League (West Zone) held in Goa from February 21–23, 2025, achieving an impressive medal haul. Their dedication and skill were rewarded with a total of seven medals, including 2 Gold Medals (each accompanied by a ₹6,000 prize), 3 Silver Medals (each with a ₹4,000 prize), and 2 Bronze Medals (each with a ₹2,000 prize). Beyond the well-deserved accolades, this remarkable performance significantly boosted the students' confidence and ignited their passion for the discipline of Pencak Silat.

GHSS: Creative Brilliance at Craft Bazaar 2025- NIFT Bhopal

Representing Graphite School with remarkable talent, eight students from both junior (Grades 6–8) and senior (Grades 9–12) levels participated in the Annual Art Competition at Craft Bazaar 2025, organized by NIFT Bhopal on February 8, 2025. Their creative brilliance and exceptional artwork were duly recognized, earning them well-deserved certificates and exciting gift hampers.

GHSS: Innovation in Action: Navonmesh Young Innovators Contest

A team of young innovators from Classes VI–VIII showcased their ingenuity at the Navonmesh Young Innovators Contest held at Scope Skills University from March 25–26, 2025. Their impressive project, an Eco-Friendly, Low-Cost House Model, presented a tangible solution to environmental challenges by utilizing sustainable materials such as bamboo, CSEBs, mud bricks, and cardboard. The model garnered significant praise for its innovative and practical sustainable features, including solar panels, rainwater harvesting, natural ventilation, and rooftop gardens. This project effectively highlighted the crucial role of youth in addressing climate change and fostering sustainable living practices.

GHSS: Prestigious Recognition: INSPIRE MANAK Awardees

We are proud to announce that three bright minds from Class IX — Angel Chouhan, Anjeli Sharma, and Riddhi Jain — have been selected under the prestigious INSPIRE MANAK Scheme, an initiative by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. As part of the program, each student will receive ₹10,000 to develop prototypes of their innovative ideas for the district-level competition. Only the top 10% of students nationwide earn this distinction, making this achievement all the more commendable.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Sports Week 2025

The much-awaited Sports Week 2025, held from 7th to 14th January, brought vibrancy and vigour to the school campus. The week-long celebration of fitness, fun, and fraternity featured a range of competitive and recreational activities, igniting the spirit of teamwork and healthy competition among students.

The event commenced on the school ground, beautifully decorated for the occasion. Senior teachers inaugurated the festivities with an energising address on behalf of the School Admin, Smt. Vijayshree Yadav.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Champion at 24th Tribal National Game Archery 2024

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev takes immense pride in celebrating the outstanding achievement of Rohini Damor, a student of Class IX, who secured First Position in the team event at the 24th Tribal National Game Archery 2024, held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Competing in the Under-14 category, Rohini displayed exceptional focus, precision, and sportsmanship, making her school and family proud.

Her remarkable victory not only reflects her personal dedication but also sets a shining example for her peers. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for her continued success in the world of archery.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Celebration of Republic Day 2025

Republic Day 2025 was celebrated with great fervour and pride at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev. The event began with a flag hoisting ceremony conducted by the School Admin, Smt. Vijayshree Yadav, along with Late Mr. K.B. Khatod (SAMC President, COO RSWM), and Mr. M.S. Manilal.

This was followed by a vibrant cultural programme featuring patriotic songs and dances that reflected India’s unity in diversity. Inspirational speeches by the dignitaries reminded all present of the significance of this national festival. The event fostered national pride and was a day to remember for everyone present.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Stargazing in Planetary Parade Event

On 23rd and 24th January 2024, students of VKV Rishabhdev explored the mysteries of the cosmos during the Planetary Parade Astronomy Event. Organised for students from Classes III to IX, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 230 students across both days.

Guiding them was Mr. Aakash Nair, an alumnus of VKV (Batch 2015-16) and a distinguished aerospace engineer, who demonstrated the planetary parade through a telescope and shared fascinating facts about stars and celestial bodies.

This hands-on experience sparked curiosity and deepened students’ interest in astronomy, making it a truly memorable and educational event.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Surya Namaskar session on Surya Saptami

In honour of Surya Saptami, a special Surya Namaskar session was held at VKV Rishabhdev, following the directive of the District Education Officer. Students from Classes VI to IX, along with teachers and some parents, gathered at 9:00 AM on the school campus to perform this ancient yogic practice.

The session promoted the values of health, discipline, and mindfulness, while reinforcing the spiritual and physical significance of Surya Namaskar. The collective participation created an energetic atmosphere and left everyone rejuvenated.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Educational Trip to Prakriti Sadhna Kendra, Udaipur.

On 22nd February 2025, students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rishabhdev, marked the birth anniversary of Baden-Powell, founder of Scouting, with a memorable educational trip to Prakriti Sadhna Kendra, Bedla, Udaipur.

Under the guidance of the School Admin, Smt. Vijayshree Yadav, Guider Mrs. Indubala Rawal, and Scout Master Mr. Om Prakash Suthar, 137 students (Grades VI–VIII) participated in this nature-inspired outing.

Highlights included:

  • Observing wildlife and bird species with the expert Mr. Virendra Dave
  • Engaging SDG-based activities: quizzes, art presentations, puzzles, and spinning games

The event was coordinated by SDG Facilitator Mr. Tarun Trivedi and faculty members. It was a day of learning, exploration, and joy – a perfect tribute to the spirit of Scouting.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Shining at the DCA Open FIDE Rated Rapid & Blitz Tournament 2025

It gives us immense pride to announce that Master Dhruvin Jain, a student of VKV Rishabhdev, achieved a remarkable 2nd position in the Below 1599 Rating Category of the Blitz Event at the prestigious DCA Open FIDE Rated Rapid & Blitz Chess Tournament 2025, held in Delhi. His strategic brilliance and unwavering focus earned him a well-deserved cash prize of ₹5,000, adding another feather to the school’s cap.

We also celebrate the commendable performances of our budding chess talents:

  • Master Nayan Ahari, who secured 4 points out of 9, and
  • Master Mohak Harmor, who scored 5 points out of 9 in their respective categories.

These achievements stand as a testament to their dedication and growing excellence in the world of chess. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants and wish them continued success in their future tournaments.

VKV-Hurda: SOHA Exhibition (SDG Club)

SOHA Panel Exhibition was organized at VKV Hurda, inaugurated by Sri Dharmendra Singh, SP Bhilwara. More than 200 students and teachers of the neighbouring schools visited the exhibition and appreciated the efforts. Students gained a comprehensive understanding of each SDG and understood the POWER OF ONE. They learned to collaborate as a team and improved their research skills, which enhanced their awareness of global issues. The exhibition inspired students to adopt sustainable habits and consider careers contributing to social welfare.

VKV-Hurda: Biodiversity & Conservation (SDG Club)

The SDG Club at VKV-Hurda School conducted biodiversity awareness activities that enabled students to identify diverse bird species, understand their behaviors and habitats, and appreciate their significance in ecological balance. Students gained knowledge on the detrimental effects of climate change, deforestation, and pollution on avian populations and ecosystems. This fostered an appreciation for nature and ecosystem interdependence, cultivating a desire to protect wildlife and natural habitats through environmental conservation and sustainability.

VKV-Hurda: Seed Bank Activity (SDG Club)

The students collected a variety of seeds of fruit trees, ornamental trees. Segregated and stored them. These seeds were sown in the school nursery, and the saplings were planted on the campus. The seed bank activity aimed to educate students about the importance of conserving plant biodiversity, preserving native and rare seeds, and promoting sustainable agriculture.

VKV-Hurda: Water Conservation Activity (SDG Club)

A workshop on the Importance of Water Conservation was organized. Students explained why conserving water is crucial for sustainable living and environmental protection. They identified Sources and Methods of Water Wastage and recognized common practices that lead to water wastage at home, school, and community levels. They also explored Techniques for Water Conservation by investigating and demonstrating practical methods for conserving water (e.g., rainwater harvesting, fixing leaks, and reusing greywater). Students collaboratively proposed innovative solutions to reduce water usage in their surroundings, thereby promoting behavioral Change in the community to raise awareness about water conservation and encourage sustainable water practices.

VKV-Hurda: SDG Club's Zero-Waste Campus Initiative

Students were encouraged to think creatively and come up with innovative ways to reuse materials and convert VKV Campus into a zero waste campus, focusing on 3R’s – REDUCE, REUSE, AND RECYCLE, which instilled the importance of recycling and its impact on reducing environmental waste. Students developed the ability to find practical solutions using limited or discarded resources, thereby promoting Teamwork and Collaboration, saving energy and resources.

VKV-Hurda: SDG Club's Charity Drive

The SDG Charity Drive by students at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda, aims to foster social responsibility, empathy, and active citizenship in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students will understand the importance of addressing global challenges like poverty, hunger, and quality education by engaging in hands-on charity activities. The objectives include developing teamwork, leadership skills, and compassion while promoting awareness of SDGs such as Good Health, Reduced Inequality, and Responsible Consumption. By participating in community service, students gain practical experience in creating positive social change, empowering them to become responsible, service-oriented leaders for a sustainable future.

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Seed Deposition at the Seed BanK

The SDG Club initiated the Seed Bank project to promote environmental sustainability, community engagement, and access to nutritious food. Students collected, prepared, and deposited fruit seeds. This initiative will lead to cleaner air, reduced carbon emissions, and healthier soil, while fostering community unity and improving access to fresh produce for better nutrition.

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Secured 3rd Position in 37th Junior National Netball Championship

Our talented students Raghavendra Bariya (Class XI), Abhishek Chouhan (Class XI), Lavanya Choudhary (Class IX), and Ashwani Patel (Class VIII) were selected for the National Games and represented our school at the 37th Junior National Netball Championship in Bhiwani, Haryana. Raghavendra and Abhishek secured an impressive 3rd position in the competition, showcasing their skills on the national stage.

VVV-Maral Sarovar: CBSE Sahodaya Karate Cluster Tournament

Our school proudly sent a team of 10 students to the CBSE SAHODAYA Karate Cluster Tournament, where they demonstrated exceptional skill and determination.
Six students—Anshuman Jaiswal (Class VI), Ashish Mandloi (Class VIII), Vansh Thakur (Class VIII), Jaivica Kushwah (Class XI), Shamlee Gupta (Class XI), and Divya Yadav (Class XI)—won Gold Medals. Additionally, four students—Shreyansh Dash (Class V), Rounak Rawat (Class VI), Vanshika Panwar (Class XI), and Bhumesh Patel (Class VIII)—earned Silver Medals.

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Celebrated 30 Glorious Years, Honoring VVV Alumni at the Annual 'Vivek-Khelotsav'

The School marked its 30th anniversary during the annual Vivek-Khelotsav event held on January 26, coinciding with Republic Day celebrations. Special guest Shri Udayendra Singh (Batch of 1998), Ex Head of Human Resources at Wipro and Founder of Ridhvika Realtors and HR consulting firm, inspired students with his journey as a successful professional turned entrepreneur and athlete, highlighting the power of self-confidence and perseverance. Another distinguished alumna, Ms. Nandini Patel (Batch of 2015), was honored for her achievement as a Civil Judge in the Chhattisgarh Cadre. Scholarships and trophies worth Rs 50000 were awarded by alumnus Shri Prithviraj Sisodiya in memory of his late sister, Sonali Sisodia. Shri Lakshman Datir, Joint Secretary of the National Netball Federation, and Shri Nishant Dubey, Director of JITM, lauded the school's role in nurturing talent and setting new standards of excellence. The event celebrated both the achievements of Maral School’s alumni and the promise of its current students, reflecting the institution's commitment to fostering growth and success. Over 150 awards were bestowed upon recognized students for their outstanding performance in sports at national, state, and divisional levels.

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Celebrated National Youth Day on Swami Vivekanand Jayanti

Embracing the spirit of unity, our school commemorated Swami Vivekanand's birthday, National Youth Day, with unwavering enthusiasm. The event commenced with serene Om mantra sadhna, soul-stirring Gayatri mantra chanting, and invigorating Sun Salutations. Our esteemed Principal shared inspiring sermons from Swamiji's profound teachings, illuminating the path to wisdom. The day unfolded with exhilarating tug-of-war, basketball, and cricket matches, showcasing remarkable versatility and teamwork among students and teachers. This celebration embodied Swamiji's vision of a harmonious world, where everyone is an integral part of one family.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Promoting Energy Conservation (SDG 7)

To promote energy conservation and sustainable practices, our school has set up a compost area on campus. This initiative transforms organic waste into nutrient-rich compost, reducing landfill burden and enriching our garden soil.

Maintained by student and teacher volunteers, the project also raises awareness about eco-friendly waste management. With support from the gardening club, the compost is now used to nourish plants, making our campus greener and more sustainable.

 

VKV-Rishabhdev: Nurturing Life on Land (SDG GOAL15)

In a step towards nurturing life on land, our students created eco-friendly seed banks by collecting seeds from seasonal fruits and planting them in handmade seed bags. These will later be transplanted to benefit low-income and disadvantaged communities.

The activity not only promoted sustainable farming but also sparked interest in agriculture as a career, while teaching the value of preserving nutrient-rich seeds. Students also learned how to make and use eco-friendly seed bags—planting both seeds and awareness for a greener future.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Exploring Life Beneath Water (SDG Club)

To raise awareness about marine conservation, students created aquarium-style models showcasing the causes and effects of water pollution. These were displayed in an exhibition, sparking meaningful conversations about protecting life below water.

The initiative inspired students to reflect on their role in preserving oceans and rivers. Moving forward, ocean conservation will be integrated into the curriculum, and a student-led eco-club will guide future efforts to protect our water bodies.

VKV-Rishabhdev: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (SDG Club)

On Peace Day, students presented a heartfelt skit during assembly, spreading messages of harmony, gratitude, and mutual respect. The performance inspired their peers to embrace compassion and tolerance in everyday life.

To sustain the spirit of peace, the school aims to support community-led peace initiatives and encourage dialogue through student engagement and mediation programs.

GHSS: Energy Literacy Training - Lighting the Way to a Sustainable Future (SDG Club)

Graphite School’s SDG Club has been a dynamic force in nurturing sustainability and community participation. Mapped to the UN's SDG, our initiatives blend education with real-world impact. From organizing the SDG Online Exhibition to launching annual SDG Planners, we have promoted eco-awareness among students, staff, and the wider community. Here are some of the recent vignettes:

In October 2024, our school proudly partnered with the Energy Swaraj Foundation under the Energy Literacy Training Program, becoming part of a nationwide movement to promote energy awareness and climate action. Students from Classes III to XII participated in energy-focused seminars and quizzes, receiving Silver, and Gold Certificates for their outstanding engagement.

Our highlight came in April 2025, when we were awarded a Climate Clock, Solar Lamp, and the prestigious "Ek Kamra Solar Ka Installation" recognition for our efforts in energy conservation and education. These rewards symbolize our school’s active role in India’s energy literacy mission, which now includes over 2800 institutions.

This program has ignited a strong sense of environmental responsibility in our students. From understanding solar power to advocating for reduced energy consumption at home, students are becoming energy ambassadors within their communities. Through education and action, we are powering change—one classroom at a time.

GHSS: Science Exhibition - Innovation with Purpose (SDG Club)

Before beginning another academic year, our school organized an inspiring Science Exhibition centred around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  A total of 16 working models, each representing one of the 17 SDG goals, were showcased by students across grades. These creative projects combined science, sustainability, and innovation to address real-world challenges.

Highlights included a Smoke Detector for fire safety, a Solar Smart City model emphasizing clean energy and infrastructure, and a display on the Effects of Global Warming. Students also presented eco-friendly innovations like Herbal Kajal and Beetroot Lip Balm, encouraging natural alternatives to chemical-based products. The crowd favourite was the AI-based Garbage Sorter, promoting smart waste management.

Adding to the sustainability spirit, the entire exhibition space was decorated using the 3Rs: Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle. The event not only celebrated student creativity but also reinforced the importance of aligning innovation with global sustainability goals.

GHSS: Growing a Greener Tomorrow (SDG Club)

The SEED Club at our school continues to flourish as a living example of sustainability in action. This student-led initiative encourages the collection of seeds from students and teachers, which are then donated to CURE India, a state program of Madhya Pradesh promoting food awareness and local biodiversity. The club functions throughout the academic year and recently completed a successful spring drive in April 2025, collecting over 2,000 seed packets.

What makes the SEED Club special is its simplicity and community-driven spirit. It not only raises awareness about sustainable agriculture but also helps students understand the value of preserving native plant species. The initiative fosters hands-on learning and connects environmental education with real-world impact. As the club grows, so does our commitment to nurturing a greener future—one seed at a time.

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Cleanliness Drive (SDG Club)

Like every year, On Gandhi Jayanti, the school embarked on a cleanliness drive, fostering a commitment to environmental stewardship. Aligning with SDGs 3 -good health and well being, 6-Clean water and sanitation & 15-Life on Land, the initiative promoted eco-friendliness, good health, and well-being. Students and teachers collectively pledged to uphold cleanliness, reinforcing their responsibility towards a sustainable environment and a deeper respect for nature.

 
VVV-Maral Sarovar: Donation Drive Campaign (SDG club)

The SDG club Students every year organize a donation drive themed  "Madad Wali Diwali" to support needy children during the festival. Students are encouraged to donate essential items like stationery materials, packaged food items, diyas, candles, and less polluting firecrackers. This initiative helps to develop a spirit of compassion and community among the students, allowing them to experience the joy of giving during Diwali.

 

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Old-age Home visit (SDG Club)

Students from the SDG Club visited the Asha Niketan old age home. During this heartwarming visit, they shared the joy of Diwali by engaging with the residents and spreading happiness. The students led an activity to create decorative door hangings using waste cloth, gave daily grooming kits and provided a delicious lunch. 

 

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Plant Labelling Initiative (SDG Club)

The SDG Club launched the "Plant Labelling" initiative to foster environmental awareness among students. On their birthdays, students brought plant saplings, which were researched and labelled, enabling guided tours to share knowledge. To ensure sustainability, the club plans regular updates, expansion of the plant collection, community engagement, and the creation of a digital platform. This initiative aims to inspire a new generation of eco-conscious individuals.

 

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Eco-friendly Ganesha Idol Making Workshop (SDG Club)

We organised a workshop focused on eco-friendly Ganesh statue making, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During this event, students showcased their creativity by crafting beautifully designed Ganesh statues. These artistic creations highlighted the students' talent and imagination.The workshop aimed to educate the importance of preserving clean water by advocating for the immersion of Ganesh statues in buckets rather than in rivers.  

 

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Vermicomposting Project(SDG Club)

Under SDG 15: Life on Land, this initiative promotes sustainable agriculture through organic practices. Triggered by a family conversation on reusing dry neem leaves, a terrace garden was developed using organic compost made from household and temple waste. Over 8–12 months, vegetables like brinjal, pumpkin, and coriander were cultivated, leading to healthy and chemical-free produce. Inspired by its success, the family established six vermicompost pits using cow dung and agri-waste, enhanced with earthworms from Krishi Vigyan Kendra. This eco-friendly approach has improved soil fertility and crop yield, fostering a long-term commitment to organic farming and environmental sustainability.

In recent updates, Jaivika Kushwah, a dedicated SDG Club student, is emphasising the importance of organic fertilisers, particularly vermicompost. She has established a vermicomposting facility on her land and is now selling high-quality organic manure. With over 45 local customers, her initiative supports sustainable agriculture and enhances terrace gardening in the community. Through her efforts, she is raising awareness about the benefits of organic farming and empowering her neighbours to cultivate healthier crops. 

VVV-Maral Sarovar: Organo Mosquito Dhoop-batti (SDG Club)

The Organo Mosquito Dhoopbatti project, initiated by Gouri Soni and Ayushraj Thakur, aims to offer an eco-friendly mosquito repellent using natural ingredients like neem, citronella, and camphor. The project reduces reliance on harmful chemicals, benefiting individual health and minimizing environmental impact. Through sustainable production practices, biodegradable packaging, and local community support it .

 

VVV-Maral Saroval: Eco Brick Project (SDG Club)

The Eco Project led by Ishan Rathod is actively involved in collecting eco-bricks. An eco-brick is a plastic bottle tightly filled with used plastic, repurposing it into a robust building material that effectively sequesters waste. These eco-bricks are utilized to create stools, sofas and a variety of other structures, significantly contributing to sustainable initiatives and promoting environmental responsibility within the community. It helps to promote the reduction of Carbon in building Materials.

Earth Day was celebrated in school with heartfelt enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility.  Our students came together to deliver a moving poem reminding us of the urgent need to protect our planet. Their voices echoed a powerful message — it’s time for collective action! 

From pledging to conserve water and energy to adopting eco-friendly habits in daily life, our school community has taken a stand for a sustainable future.  This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious citizens who care for the Earth and every living being.

 

VVV-Maral Sarovar: QR Codes initiative (SDG Club)

Students embarked on a nature walk at the Maral campus, exploring diverse flora using QR codes. They gained insights into various trees, including Mango, Guava, and Amla, and created PDF documents featuring each plant's attributes. This innovative approach enhanced technical knowledge and promoted environmental awareness. The QR code initiative fosters responsibility towards nature, encourages sustainable practices, and inspires environmental protection. VVV-Maral Sarovar: Bird Bliss (SDG Club)

The SDG Club launched the 'Birds Bliss Movement' to safeguard avian life. This initiative encourages students and parents to place eco-friendly water and grain pots outdoors, on rooftops or outside their homes, and ensure regular refills. Participants are invited to photograph their efforts and share them with class teachers. The movement's core aim is to establish safe havens for birds and champion their welfare. Join us in supporting our feathered companions! 

VVV Maral Sarovar: World Environment Day (SDG Club)

The shool celebrated World Environment Day with enthusiasm. Students created videos showcasing eco-friendly initiatives like tree planting, poster-making, and conserving energy. The event raised awareness about environmental conservation, encouraged eco-friendly habits, and provided a platform for students to take action. We’re proud of our students’ efforts and look forward to continuing our conservation initiatives.

VVV Maral Sarovar: SDG-based Assembly (SDG Club)

In our school Morning assembly is led by Students based on the Assigned SDG theme ( Sustainable Development Goals) 

 

Introduction to SDGs: Start with a brief overview of the Sustainable Development Goals, explaining what they are and why they are important for creating a better world.

 

SDG Quiz: Engage students with a fun quiz to test their knowledge about the SDGs. Include questions about the goals themselves, as well as examples of how they can be achieved.

 

Interactive Discussion: Facilitate a discussion among students about how they can contribute to achieving the SDGs in their daily lives, both individually and as a school community.

 

SDG Pledge: Encourage students to make a pledge to take action towards one or more of the SDGs. This could involve committing to reduce their carbon footprint, volunteering for a local charity, or advocating for social justice issues.

 

Creative Presentations: Allow students to showcase their creativity by presenting projects or artwork related to the SDGs. This could include posters, videos, or presentations highlighting the importance of sustainable development.

 

Closing Reflection: End the assembly with a reflection on what students have learned and how they can continue to support the SDGs moving forward. Encourage them to carry the message of sustainability and global responsibility beyond the.

VVV Maral Sarovar: Plantation Drive (SDG Club)

The school  aims to development responsible citizens and students are instilled the value of  environment conservation and  social welfare. These values, reflect in each and every activity of school. Keeping the same vision, on the first PTM of this session, a plantation drive was organized. This plantation drive was completely designed for the parents. Parents showed great enthusiasm for it and our SDG Club students got around 50 saplings planted.


 

VVV Maral Sarovar: NARDEP Kanyakumari (SDG Club)

In May 2023, our school orchestrated a memorable field trip to Kanyakumari. The SDG Club students enthusiastically engaged in diverse activities orchestrated by the NARDEP Kanyakumari organization. These experiences instilled in students a profound reverence for nature, nurturing empathy, and mitigating carbon and plastic footprints. The trip revolved around five pioneering eco-friendly initiatives: 

  1. Eco-friendly construction
  2.  water management
  3. Rain water harvesting
  4. Vermicomposting and organic farming
  5.  Biogas production.

These initiatives exemplified how even the most modest spaces can wield significant influence on human existence by advocating for the adoption of organic, sustainable practices, while curbing chemical dependency.
